Pricey but totally worth it. Seafood is very fresh, I've had uni and blue Fin Toro many places but this one was amongst the best. I found the Yakitori to be too salty to my liking but the rolls were amazing. We had a vegetarian in our party, which enjoyed the egg plant and Avocado Maki very much. To complete the experience the cupcakes were provided on the house.

Great environment (rare for a sushi place), and even better sushi. The Dynamite roll is thin-sliced sushi, with crispy tempura on the OUTSIDE -- presented gracefully on a slate tray.

Before I begin, I only write reviews to help unsuspecting tourists like myself. I can’t believe some of these reviews which helped me choose this place. Hamachi wasn’t hamachi belly, as you can see they give you the cheapest part of the hamachi. Warmest sashimi I’ve ever eaten, and I’m from Texas. Freshness was on par with AYCE. Smallest rolls I’ve ever seen for $16 a pop, four pieces for the hamachi tempura roll. You can just tell from the photos how thin they make the dragon and rainbow roll. The menu says 8 pieces and the price is completely wrong, these three rolls are $16 each, just call ahead if you don’t believe me. I wish I would’ve a read an honest review like this one before I chose this place.

Guys, this place is amazing! The sushi was fresh and there was a lot of variety of rolls. On top of that, we got some freebies from the management as a form of customer appreciation (Think tataki and green tea ice cream). Great staff, AMAZING food, would most definitely recommend and come back to San Francisco just to dine here.

This is a neighborhood gem! My friend and I wandered into this place after seeing their advertisement for blue fin tuna. The decor is rustic but with a very organized and relaxing feel. Then the food! OMG the food. Everything we tried was better than the next. The fish was so fresh and delicious. They have quite a few sushi chefs so there was never a long wait for each order. We enjoyed some of their specialty rolls as well as several different sashimi orders.

Best sushi experience that I have had in a very long time! I sat at the bar and Chef Roy took excellent care of me! Very talented! In fact I just kept asking him to "Surprise Me", and make whatever he wants! Awesome Experience and he did WOW me for sure!!!! Waitress / Waiter service was wonderful also! Highly recommend this place to Everyone! Thanks Chef Roy again!!!! Have a great thanksgiving!

I love sushi and I'm always looking for a new place to try. I came here with a friend and did not leave disappointed. The sushi we had was fantastic! It came out quickly and we had a nice variety of rolls. I like that they had some purely vegetarian rolls on their menu. I'm not a vegetarian, but it is nice to feel like you're eating a little bit healthier when you can get some veggies that aren't deep fried. The service here was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Overall I like this place and will probably go back the next time I'm hanging out in the mission.

I picked up some sushi for dinner and it was just okay. We ordered three separate rolls (one of them being Rainbow Roll) and none were memorable. The sushi pieces are TINY with not much fish. The sushi rice was also off - too much vinegar. I'd probably only come again to dine in because the interior is nice and there aren't good sushi spots in the area. Otherwise, I'd probably venture further for better quality + better priced sushi.
