We were eating across the street and enjoying the live music coming from the Filling Station. People were having. Grand time dancing to the live band!

Best place ever! After getting turned away at Caymus with reservations because we have 2 small, leashed, well behaved dogs we were so happy to find this gem! The gals inside were super sweet and made great recommendations for tastings. We even made friends while we were here! We will be coming back for sure!

Today they held a raffle and the prize was a T-shirt. Imagine our excitement when they called out 438042! My bf rushed to claim our prize the girl had told us that she had given it to another kid. The consolation prize was free entrance for a Saturday. That's not what we wanted, we wanted the T-shirt. I went back over with the winning ticket and I said why would you give away the prize to someone who clearly did not win it? Then the owner had the audacity to ask me if we really won and I said yeah here's the ticket. Lucky for me, I recorded when they called it out. She said that the free entrance and that the raffle was just a bonus for people attending and asked why I didn't have a wristband. The fact that they made a mistake and gave away our winning prize to someone who did not win and weren't even apologetic was not good sportsmanship. Shame on you guys for not de-escalating the situation: you guys made a mistake, and didn't honor your own raffle. You've lost our patronage. The owner could have clearly handled their mistake differently.

Always live the talent that gets booked to play there. Dog friendly atmosphere and owner is pretty rad. The thrift shop is closing in a month so go check it out before they’re gone. Huge sales up to 70%off

I know many locals love this place & it’s obvious & that’s great. We really want to love it but after several attempts don’t. We love Pioneer Tap Room & never once had a bad experience. We ordered food and after about 1/2 hour & watching others who came after get theirs we asked about it. Ours was burned! But others were getting their orders. Owners/managers are nice & beer is good.

Yelp
I really wanted to try the blue champagne that I saw advertised on a post I came across. They are located far from city lid and more around fields growing grapes for the wines. Parking is tight so maybe during busy days might be hard to find parking. I enjoyed my blue taste and shared with family that was interested because it was blue. I would definitely suggest this as a great gift for a birthday or wedding or even a special occasion.

Yelp
While visiting some friends, who live in the area, they brought us out on a Friday night to the Suisun Valley Filling Station. This is definitely a local hang out joint and I absolutely loved the entire vibe and atmosphere. They are predominantly outdoor seating with plenty of heaters and fire pits. The space is small, but warm and inviting. They offer a variety of beers, wines, and seltzers. They have beers on tap, as well as seltzers and items in their coolers. If you find yourself in the area or simply passing through, do yourself a favor, and quench your thirst at the Suisun Valley Filling Station.

Yelp
I've been coming to the filling station for years and it's always a great time! They offer a nice selection of local beer and wine, bar bites from the truck, and sometimes live music! Bonus: they're dog friendly and in the heart of Suisun!
google avatar

Ramon B.

Yelp
Ok I dig the space and you get a great value with the lively music! The food is ok. Not excited about it but I think it will suffice. I'd love a charcuterie board or BBQ to spice up offerings. Just my take!
google avatar

Yelp
Wendy is great! We were staying nearby and wanted to find a place where we could try multiple local offerings and this is it. There was live music on a Friday night and the whole Mankas Corner was poppin! We were interested in a tasting flight but they, understandably, don't hold them on nights they have live music. Wendy chatted with us and still helped us find some wines we really enjoyed. We tried some new grape varietals we had never even heard of and are now interested in some nearby wineries that we might not have visited otherwise. Stop by and support this local gem. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
A lovely little place with welcoming patrons, friendly staff, and a very pleasant seating area. The beers are tasty, and the outdoor seating next to the fire and Christmas lights is so relaxing and pleasant. Just a very charming location where locals come to hang out. The filling station aesthetic gives the place a fun vintage feel. There's also a food truck nearby; can't comment on the quality because I didn't partake, but nice to know there's also food available! Would love to come back to try out their local wines.

Yelp
We are locals and come here as often as we can. We had a great time on Saturday enjoying the fun ambiance after the veterans parade. The band was very good although a cover charge was a bit of a surprise but we paid it. It was our intent to have lunch and enjoy, and we did! The adjacent food truck has really stepped up his game, and I have to say everything I have ordered from him lately was excellent. Especially those perfectly seasoned fries !!! I highly recommend this has a great spot to taste some of the local wines and beer in a comfortable, beautiful setting and grab some food or snacks as well!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Been going here for a few years now and figure it's time to give a review! Wendy and team do a great job of providing a venue to relax and have some wine or beer and enjoy some outdoor music! The location is perfect and they've really done well to improve the stage and seating. Real warm friendly atmosphere and the selection of beverages is really good. Prices good as well. Just a great place to stop and hang out for a couple hours !

Yelp
First time here and it was a great experience. Environment: very small place with only outside seating but such a fun place. There is several areas to sit and games to play. Drinks: Has a full bar with good beer, wine, and cocktails. Staff: The lady that was bartending was SUPER nice! If I lived around here, I would definitely be a regular here.

Yelp
Great little spot for a quick bite to eat or drink! Located in Mankas corner this is a nice place to make a pit stop on the way to or from Lake Berryessa or the Suisun Valley wineries. The help is always nice and you can usually spot really cool cars and bikes in the parking lot.

Yelp
Once a year, I come up and help the owners of Tolenas Winery, Cliff and Lisa Howard, in Fairfield, California during the harvest and crush season. It's a pleasent break from the heat of the Phoenix area. My go to place is always, Wendys Filling Station! The staff and patrons are a great group of people, and I get a kick out of watching Gene support the local NFL football team, the 49ers! A fantastic selection of wines and a decent selection of microbrew beers. A few more tap options would be nice, but the selection is typically just enough. They added a permanent food truck since I was here last year, which I think is a great addition. I have not ordered from it, but I have seen the plates go by me, and they look outstanding! This is Northern California's version of Cheers! So many people are regulars and know each other, and there's a lot of characters abound. If you're ever in the area, make this a must stop on your travels! You won't be disappointed. Proost

Yelp
I had the pleasure of attending a Fairfield-Suisun Chamber mixer here. It was a great event the owner Wendy did a great hosting job. The inside of the bar area was very cute they had lots of selections of amazing wine from some local favorites and they also had some non alcoholic options as well. It would be great if they would bring in one non alcoholic wine. The ambience is great for the summer especially with live music and the food truck they had. Fire pit was going for when the sun started to set. This will be an amazing venue for summer afternoons. I recommend giving it a try.

Yelp
The fact there is nothing on there website stating that kids are not allowed is ridiculous!!! I have been to wineries and breweries that allow kids and the fact they have a sign out front is to a whole mother level. Do not understand it!! They're loss!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice open spot, selection of local beer and wine is great. They have live music Thursdays and Saturdays with different food trucks every time. Is a favorite spot for locals, highly recommend it if you want to make new friends in the area.

Yelp

Yelp
We found this place just by driving by and boy oh boy is this place awesome. Parking is limited but well worth visiting. They have a great selection of beers and local wines. The wine flights are incredible and the service is phenomenal. The seating is limited inside but plenty of outdoor seating. Gene was an awesome host and explained all of the wines, incredibly friendly, and just a great guy. They don't have food but mankas grill is right across but they will have a food truck sometime in July. If you're out and about and looking for a great place to drink and hang out you have to come to suisun valley filling station. I definitely will be back!

Yelp
What a great find along the country roads of the Suisun Valley! The Filling Station in a perfect stop for lunch or a casual get together with friends. The service was very welcoming and friendly and the food was fantastic. The Filling Station has a great selection of local wines and plenty of beers to choose from as well. The menu has something for everyone not only was it very reasonable, the food was REALLY GOOD! We had their Chicken Tacos, a Jalapeno Blue Cheese Burger and shared some onion rings with our beers. Loved it! As we were getting ready to leave, they were setting up for life music on their stage so we hung out for great entertainment. Although i have been hearing so many good things about this place and promised myself i was going to go, It was my first visit and I will certainly be back! We are planning on taking our friends there who are going to be visiting from out of state. Can't wait! So, let me tell you, Ken Sarna recommends The Suisun Valley Filling Station! It was so much fun!!

Yelp
This is our go to! Love the people, music and the food! Thanks for being in our area!

Yelp
Amazing place to try multiple wines. Great service. I could sit here all day. Especially when there is live music.

Yelp
One of my favorite places! This is a gem in Suisun Valley with the most welcoming atmosphere. Filled with regular patrons and first timers, it's always a good time! Live music several times a week and now their very own food truck with delicious food! Top notch service! I just love this place.

Yelp
Awesome beer selection, great food and amazing bands. Wendy and Mike have a great operation. If you have not been out to The Filling Station, you owe yourself a trip. You won't be sorry

Yelp
So what can I begin to tell you about this lil place! Wendy, she is awesome! Is probably one of the best hosts I've come across in my lifetime. My friend and I came in for a water and ended up stayed for about 2-3hours having beer, wine, cheese and the best damn conversation ever! Wendy is loaded with tons of history on the area, wine and wineries. My friend bought the best canvas print right off the wall. Thank you Wendy for your awesome hospitality, warm welcome, beer, wine and the amazing print! It's already hanging on the wall :-)We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Wendy and Mike run a terrific little place for local wine and beer along with recurring evenings with live music and delicious food trucks. Once you stop in and meet other warm inviting people you'll keep coming back!

Yelp
Having a local Beer and also trying locally produced wines by Swope Family. - Very Good Great little place at Mankas Corners and recommend stopping in for a beer or glass of wine - the proprietors Don & Wendy are awesome and have great history to share of the area.

Yelp
Super friendly and knowledgeable customer service about the local wines. Wendy was awesome with some info about the particular wine I was savoring. It is a quaint small space and VERY welcoming. They made us feel at home and even fulfilled and interesting request #thanksdon #corksforlife Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
First time here and it's a festive day celebrating St Patrick's day a day early! Everyone is genuinely smiling and very attentive! The music is great and not too loud. Some patio heaters are making the patio more comfortable. Antique sores and a couple of other restaurants are a right across the road. I'll definitely come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Enough cannot be said of how cool and fun this place is. It is all due to the fact that the proprietor, Wendy, is an angel among us. Creative, kind, fun, level-headed, energetic, hard-working - she is all of those things, and her warm, welcoming watering hole reflects that. Also, Suisun Valley is a great, rural-ish community and you could write a book about all of the fascinating and just decent people that live here, and often stop in to the Filling Station for a glass of fine wine or beer, and good convo and a smile. I don't know how we would have made it through the summer of 2020 with the Filling Station.

Yelp
If you are here (Fairfield/Solano area) for a week, and your not able to get out of work until after 5 (normally all tasting rooms are closed). Come down to this cute place! It's really nice to stop somewhere, and be able to taste some of the local wines! A couple of friends, and I were there. We were able to taste some wines, and even the non wine person was able to get an IPA. They have other beers, like porters, English IPA, and bottled beer. We were able to taste our wines inside and then move our (purchased) glass of wine outside. We had a preference for reds. Although it did not end in a bottle purchase. It was a pleasure to try out different wines and figure out what we like and don't like. I would recommend checking it out. Lol you may want to lyft/uber there.

Chris V.

Yelp
Love the vibe and beautiful Decor at this picturesque spot in the gorgeous Suisun Valley wine region. It's on the cutest corner across from Mankas Grill and often has great bands. Dog friendly and of course no children since it's a Wine Bar so your kids will have to drink at home . Food is sometimes provided by different food trucks and the clientele are usually locals and super friendly. Wendy, the owner is the unofficial mayor of Suisun Valley. Just a great place to spend the afternoon.

Sofia G.

Yelp
So disappointed! I called before hand to make reservations for Valentine's Day. We get there and get told to sit in the reserved sitting that the gentleman will come to us and serve us. We sit down and there is one other table there. The gentleman walks by us several times and does not greet us once. 10 minutes go by and we are still waiting to be greeted OR served for the wine tasting. Several minutes later another table sits down and the server comes by instantly to greet them while we are still waiting, he just walks past by us again... finally I went to let the staff know and decided to leave because we could not be guaranteed the nice service. Instead we went to VEZER where ALL the staff was warm and Friendly ! Sadly will not be returning here...

Yelp
Great place with a cozy setting to meet friends and family for a drink. Especially if you want to try local wines and beers. The Restaurant across the street is very good as well. After having some drinks, we typically head over there for a nice dinner.

Yelp
Me and my girls stopped by for a quick wine tasting on the way to the Lake, Wendy gave us a lasting experience we love her and the Filling station

Jim L.

Yelp
So, I didn't actually get a chance to try any of the wine or beer, because they were closed today. But I stopped in front of this shop (in the tiny, cute town of Mankas Corner) about 3 hours into a 4 hour bike ride. A lady (I presume the owner) stopped by and I asked her if there was anywhere in town to buy a bottle of water. Without missing a beat, she said, 'sure, I've got one', and gave me a bottle from their cooler; I offered to pay, but she refused, it was on her. Wow! Just a little gesture, I know, but it made my day. I live just over the hill in Napa, so I will be back as a paying customer soon.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Filling Station! Great Beer and Local Wines- always full of fun people and Wendy is the absolute BEST! Great outside patio too- Check it out!

Yelp
Heard about this new little gem and decided to swing by for a day date with my husband. Super cute inside. Wine was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Wendy was great! Thank you!
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
We love our Wendy! Miss and love the local watering hole named the Filling Station. Everyone that works there is super friendly, happy, professional and knowledgeable. I love the atmosphere, the outdoor patio and the corner of course reminds me of my childhood and going to the steakhouse and Vezer for so many years. When FS opened, we were pumped to check it out. We have been countless times and have made so many friends in the process. The wine is delicious, beer is great, love their snacks, love the music! I love the events Wendy puts on with various cover bands and food trucks to boot. Unfortunately, we have moved to Roseville and can't get out there as much with work and a new puppy but we will come soon in the new year and enjoy a glass and some friendly faces. Please support your local businesses during this brutal time. It's what keeps them alive.
google avatar

Chrissy J.

Yelp
Wendy is so warm and gracious and her little spot is a gem!! Loved the Rose'. Great place to have some local wine in a casual rustic location. Good wine , good people!i
google avatar

Angelique L.

Yelp
My husband and I love it here. He loves there beers and I like their variety of local wines. A great little place to stop for good drinks, and Wendy is awesome, if people are having fun and still drinking she'll stay later than the closing time posted which is awesome. My husband loves the porter, I also really like it. I also recently found a new favorite wine, the Caymus-Suisun grand durif. Highly recommend them!

James B.

Yelp
I saw all of the grest reviews and I've been meaning to come here and I finally did yesterday. The owner? was very friendly and she takes great pride in her business and it shows. She took the time to explain the wines of which she has a great passion for but wasn't pushy at all in selling anything. She was truly interested in making sure I had a great time. On a side note there is an antique store next door that is worth going to!
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
Cute little place to grab a beer, sometimes has music on weekends, started selling Napa deli food so there is something to eat.
google avatar

Kory R.

Yelp
Super cute place. The bartender was friendly and explained their menu of beer and wine. I picked out a petite syrah and hubby had the double IPA. We loved sitting out on their little patio watching traffic and people go by. The only think I would change is having small substantial appetizers (cheese plate/cured meats, grapes, etc) for purchase for patrons who don't want to go to Mankas. They did have beef jerky, chips but we wanted something a little more filling. Can't wait to go back soon to try more wines and beer!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Apparently, the county law doesn't allow infants inside their wine bar OR on the patio. First for us.

Erin L.

Yelp
If you've got your kids with you don't bother going here! First time coming here to check it out. We ordered our drink and then was told that our kids (4 & 9) could not sit at the outdoor picnic table area because they where not 21, but they could sit in the driveway/parking lot! Would have been nice to know this from your website or signage on the property that kids are not allowed! We made a special trip just to check this place out and relax but we had to leave. I am wondering how other beer and wine places that have outdoor seating that allow kids and this place doesn't.... strange!
google avatar

Alysa D.

Yelp
BEST PLACE EVER! This is a must go to place. Excellent selection of beverages, great atmosphere and fabulous service. They even have their own wine label. If you go once, you will want to return.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
The most amazing environment and staff! Totally stumbled on this place and will now make it back regularly! Please stop by support Wendy and her passion!!!!!!

Mina S.

Yelp
Attended Wendy's wine/beer club dinner pick up party....it was hosted across the street from the Filling Station at Mankas Grill. The 5 course dinner with wine pairing was beyond amazing. The stories and narratives from the actual winemakers was like storytelling around a camp fire. Dinner included a beet salad, ceviche, pork belly, filet mignon and chocolate cream puff. This is the best example of farm to fork dining we have in Solano county, and the best example of "supporting local". The hospitality from Wendy and her team at Filling Station as well as the hospitality from Mankas Grill was world class to say the least, and kudos to Wendy and team for delivering a refreshing and inviting "wine club" experience.
google avatar

Ray L.

Yelp
This place is top notch. The owner is knowledgable and friendly. I enjoyed the craft beer on tap. Love the atmosphere and conversation with other patrons. Will be back.
google avatar

Joni S.

Yelp
My husband and I had a date night here a couple of weeks ago. It's a great spot. We always love coming to Mankas Steakhouse, so to have this spot across the way before dinner is perfect. The Sauvignon Blanc selection could be better, but the setting and atmosphere made up for it.
