Tight, tiny matchbox of an establishment with wobbly tables, bulky furniture & benches guests are expected to eat on. We made reservations for a party of 10 well in advance; as we were visiting Nashville. Our party had to sit separately because there was not adequate space or tables prepared to accommodate us. Poor planning for group service. It took 25 minutes to get our order placed and another 45 to inquire about where our food was. Half our party was served & finishing by the time we finally got our food to table (only after asking). My order was incorrect: I had to wait an additional 10-12 minutes for an over-easy egg while my grits got cold. Thank goodness for the bartender who came from behind & served us to completion. Overall disappointing experience. Food was decent at best but the service, wait time & space were trash. The audacity to automatically add a service fee. No wonder there’s little effort involved in “serving”.

My Dad and I came from out to of town just to visit Suite Twelve 25, based on a friend’s recommendation. And our visit was AMAZING!! ✨👏🏾 I had the MVP Chicken Wings and Waffles, which tasted like funnel cakes with strawberries and whipped cream on top! My Dad had the Morning Glory Avocado Toast, which was cooked to perfection! On the side, we had the cheese grits and roasted potatoes, which were great additions to our meals! Finally, the overall vibe was extremely inviting, and we will most definitely be coming again. Thank you so much!! 🥰✨

Visiting from NC and I tried this place out today. I walked in without a reservation and was seated at the bar right away. This is a true gem. The food, the portions for the prices, the drinks, the vibes, and customer service were top tier! I’ll be back again when visiting Nashville. (I had the henny Rita and the chicken and waffles for brunch.)

We went first thing in the morning, as soon as they opened, so we were the only people there for a while. The staff was super nice, and the decor is crazy adorable, complete with swings as chairs at the bar. The whole place is a photo op if you're into that. I had THE best French toast here. I believe I ordered the Going Left brunch entree with French Toast, potatoes and grits, all delicious. And of course, a mimosa. This place would be great in California (hint, hint)! Definitely worth a stop if you go to Nashville.

This is a small establishment but the vibes are just right. I loved the Philly egg rolls and will come back over and over just for those.

We came in shortly after opening and was instantly greeted and seated. The drinks came fast and the food was hot and tasty. It was a really nice vibe and a comfortable atmosphere, so we'll definitely be back 💯👍🏽

I visited this place while in Nashville, the vibe was unmatched! I sat at the bar on a swing seat and at first I was skeptical but the seats had cushions, so that put me at ease. The music was nice and appropriate for the space/environment. Our bartender was funny and very nice, she kept checking in with us and made sure that we were ok. With black owned businesses I’m normally hesitant, due to past experience but I love to support them!! The food was fresh and hot, and I ate every bit! I had the chicken and waffles, they are a winner for sure! I will definitely be back. Especially if “Fun” is bartending! Thank you for a great experience overall. We went here on Sunday after the Beyonce concert and the wait was crazyyyyy!! But we called around it was pretty much like that everywhere. We didn’t feel like driving so we decided to wait. I had to keep checking with the host cause after over an hour wait, a whole photoshoot on the side of the building (the mural is a great backdrop) and a trip to the coffee shop while we waited was ridiculous and WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON?! My friend who lives in Nashville ended up knowing someone important there and we got seats at the bar in the swings FINALLY after waiting 2 hours. It’s cute inside but small so that’s what was taking so long. There was a live dj, and it was a woman!! Props for that. But it was HOTTTT! Where is the air conditioning y’all? They had the door open. The dj had a fan and I was close enough to feel that, otherwise I would have died in there. I was 7 months pregnant. I had the soul rolls to start and they were delicious. A little spicy in my opinion. Then I had the chicken and waffles and a glass of orange juice. The bartender put it in a champagne glass since everyone else had mimosas, that was cute! You can get a mimosas tower or hookah here also. There were lots of people celebrating birthdays. It’s a whole brunch party! Lots of laughing and screaming “ayeeeee”. We had a good time. Do not go in the hot days of summer and make a reservation. Follow those rules and your experience will be more enjoyable. I enjoyed myself, the food, and the atmosphere. I recommend you give Suite Twelve25 a try! I’m taking one star for not having air and another for crazy wait times.

It's a really cute black owned restaurant. I went when the restaurant experiencing a ruff time. (i think it was the day of the funeral of one of the owners) Nevertheless the food was good. The service was just terrible that day! And I want to suck it up as everyone was grieving and they were short staffed. I've heard of better experiences than mine, so I will return and check it out again.

The ambiance of the place is absolutely beautiful! It's very small but the Dj was live & playing all the right jams! I ordered the chicken & waffles. The chicken was delicious but the waffles were mediocre. They remind me of a funnel cake but hard to cut with the plastic ware they serve. Whatever cream they put on top is amazing. The staff were super nice & attentive. Overall it's a nice little brunch spot. I would recommend making a reservation to ensure you have seating. I would definitely visit again.

We stopped here for breakfast as we made it to Nashville for the weekend. It is easy to miss if you're not looking, but trust me you do not want to miss this place. The food is very flavorful. We tried the chicken and waffles, French toast, breakfast tacos and the egg rolls. Everything was good! Make sure to try the blueberry lemonade vodka!

Came here on a Friday morning for breakfast. Even though it saying brunch is on the weekend, you can still order from the brunch menu. I had the going left, which was French toast, breakfast potatoes, and garlic grits. It comes with no proteins, so I had to add eggs to my meal. The potatoes and eggs were the best, and I ate them so fast I forgot to take a photo lol. The grits were very garlicky, so have something for your breath afterwards. I honestly didn't like the French toast. I like my French toast to not have egg sitting on top of the bread, but soaked through instead. I didn't even eat a full one, but that's my personal preference. The bartender took our order since we sat at the bar that had swings for seats! Very cool! Everyone who was working that day was very nice and we chatted with them as we ate. They told us that the place has a very lounge-like feel during weekend brunch.

Stopped by on Saturday with no reservation and understandably we couldn't be seated, made reservations for the next day. Sunday we arrived at 12 for our 12pm reservations, we we sat- our orders weren't taken until 12:20 drinks didn't arrive until 12:34 then we noticed the 90 min seating limit but we didn't get our food until 12:45. At some point a gentleman just started circling our table for lack of a better term and clearing our table- we ordered bottle service and hookah so we're still drinking and doing hookah. It felt a bit uncomfortable so we just asked for the check and as were waiting to receiving the check he asked if we wouldn't mind just standing on the other side while we waited on our check. Sigh- while I understand it, perhaps having more waitresses to minimize the wait on food would be better. I get it the world is short staffed, however 45 mins of a 90 min seating limit was spend waiting. The 90 mins should start once your food arrives not from the time of your reservation. - Shrimp and Grits 10/10 would recommend. - Experience 6/10 - DJ 8/10 - In Miami we eat and dance, no one was dancing here not even to juvenile. - Not 100% sure I would return because my husband HATES being rushed while eating and it felt like that.

The service was excellent! Beatrice was very attentive and quick with her service. She was aware of the menu and made great recommendations for our group. The music was great and the R&B music created a great vibe and atmosphere. We had a mimosa tower and brunch.

I was visiting Nashville this weekend to celebrate a birthday! Found this place via hood ole Tik Tok.. Once we arrived we were greeted by a really nice guy who I assume was the manger... this place is not very big so there is not much space. They are on a strict 90min turnaround because space is limited. It was busy.. and it took done time to get good & service.. however once we got service the young lady was sweet & made sure we were all ok. I had the shrimp & grits.. it had a cool name but I don't remember.. but it was hot when it came out & very delicious! I didn't get any pictures but I'll def be back!

I'm so in love with the lamb chops, chicken and waffles, chop salad I had to wait before I could move. The food was absolutely amazing not to mention I don't like buying drinks just for the juice not a problem they were on point. I'll definitely will be back

Never again. We came in from out of town and when we walked in the first thing said to us was "do you have a reservation " okay.. hi how are you too . Bartender stayed on her phone THE ENTIRE TIME. It literally took 45 minutes for my party of 3 to get our drinks. We're celebrating a birthday so we ordered a hookah. Hookah came after 20 minutes and the waitress just stood there hitting it while we stared at her. Then when I opened my mouth piece this is what I seen. Fresh out the package and brand new and there's an entire nest inside ? Unacceptable. The service was already so disappointing. And the automatic gratuity for horrible service ? Lol. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Everything about this place is NOT accommodating, not friendly AND not on top of their service. And after waiting for over an hour for food, when our plates were picked up a different server approached us saying the table was needed. We were already SUPER rushed and the food and drinks took way too long when the tables around us already received their drinks and food. Never. Again. I couldn't believe the service.

Vibe and food was amazing. Service was good for the most part. A little hot at the time I went seems to be no A/C.

I didn't get a chance to eat. We walked in and the music over powered the SMALL place. I had reservations but I had to ask where was the table. The lady said she would try to find us a table. At that time a customer was so upset and complaining about how is food is never right. So we left. It seems more like a club spot vs a restaurant.

Make your reservation for brunch. Food was great, atmosphere pleasant, music was popping, service was very friendly! This owner was present and took time out to speak with us before and after we ate!

Walked in on a Thursday night and immediately felt like I was home and with family. The interior is super cute (and ig worthy). Drinks were good and food was delicious. Ordered the BLT crostini and Nashville Philly egg rolls. Both were 10/10. Had such a great time decided to go back on Saturday for brunch. Let me tell you I like to consider myself a Queen of Brunch. I've been to many places and tried many brunch dishes. This place hands down is top 5 places on my brunch list. The vibe was on point and so was the food (but no surprise there since I was already there 2 nights before lol). Dj, service, food and drinks were all 10/10! On our weekend trip to Nashville for a concert we ran across this place on TikTok and it was amazing. We made a reservation online on Open Table and it was easy. We ordered chicken and waffles, fried okra, chicken & fries, French toast, and grits. Everything was delicious! The sauce on the okra and wings were to die for! The waffles were light and fluffy, cooked to perfection. The wings and okra were fried and still had a crunch to them with the sauce on them! Everything was just great! Our waiter was on her 1st day and she still did really great. Everyone was extremely helpful and super nice. Overall a great experience.

Food was not good and unseasoned. I ordered lamb chops which was definitely pork chops and it had no taste or seasoning. My friend ordered breakfast chicken tacos and they tried to convince us that it was chicken and it was very much ground beef or something but chicken was not it. The place is super small and service was not good at all. The furniture was dirty, my drink was not good at all. Then we sat a bench that not even waist level, so uncomfortable to eat. Waiter came off as if she was upset when we would ask for something, manager comes and was very much unapologetic of how displeased we were. I do not recommend

I visited the Suite Twelve25 for my cousin's graduation brunch. The atmosphere was great with music and conversation. We had a large party and our orders came out in a timely manner, correct, and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and professional. If you're in Nashville and looking for an adult vibe....this is your spot!!

I was trying to give this place a chance. I really love the vibe and the owner is a sweet heart. I booked a reservation for my birthday (Nov 11th weekend) for about 15 people. Due to short of staff the service was slow. I respected the owner getting on the mic to express this and asked for our patience. My friends and I still had a great time and the food was great. Second visit: My dude's family were in town so I wanted to come back and support by bringing them to Suite Twelve 25 (Dec 2). We had reservations at 12pm for 10 but only 9 arrived. No big deal, they seated us in two sections. This time the experience was WORSE‼Again, short of staff and it took awhile for us to get our food. At 1:15pm this young kid tells us we have 10 min to finish up. Mind you... atleast 3 people had not gotten their food and all who ordered bottomless mimosas only had one round when 5 was included. We told our waitress and the young kid that we wasn't getting up until we finished our food. He proceeded to tell me that the owner is asking them to get people out because others are waiting. There was no one waiting , I went outside to look. Secondly, the reservation stated a 2 hour minimum for a party over 7 and we technically had 45 minutes left. They brought my guests food in a to go box and was kindly cleaning up our area which was so disrespectful. The young kid brought in security and my dude went out to speak to him. Nevertheless, he came to us and apologized. Apparently one of their staff/family members had passed that week and they all were grieving. I get that but that's no excuse in providing horrible service and treating us that way when we are paying our money! When you come to work, you come to serve and do your job. Customers do not care if you're having a bad day, etc. If you can't give a % stay home or don't open the business. Even though the security guard did comp me and my dudes meal, I still won't be back. It was embarrassing and I can't support any business that don't believe in customer satisfaction. That young kid who works at the door needs to be fired. He has a slick mouth and does not need to work in an environment dealing with people. He was rude from the start! On a positive note, great food, DJ, and vibe.

Suite Twelve25 is the perfect place to go for brunch or get your favs on the go! I stopped by to get the infamous Nashville Philly Egg Rolls to go and they did not disappoint! They were soooo good!! 10/10 The service is phenomenal! I called my order in and seeing smiling faces when I walk into restaurants is a favorite of mine. I was only getting an order to go but they offered me a seat and ask if would like something to drink. The service was quick and I was able to pay for my order by scanning my receipt. I really enjoyed myself here at this black owned business! Great vibes! I absolutely love the Dj! SOLD OUT SUNDAYS are the best! The Service was great! Food is fresh and hot so be patient however it's well worth it

Went there during All Star weekend or Super Bowl weekend expecting to get a drink, grab a bite and watch the game. Wrong! Auntie had hung up her apron for the night and looked our server in the face with the death stare when asked if she could make our order. We were encouraged to "come back during brunch, it's dunk then."

This place is such a vibe !! Music and food was on point ! Staff was super friendly and our server Mallory was a gem ! I will definitely be back ! Get the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and chicken and waffles will not disappoint!

Lovely establishment! They had great music,great vibes, and the owner of the place is a lovely lady! We made our reservation for the wrong weekend and she was kind of enough to allow our group of 16 still come in and be served on their busiest day! They have everything you would want for brunch. Mimosas,Lemon drops, hookahs, live dj, amazing appetizers. It's not a lot in room in the inside but you wouldn't even notice from all the fun you would be having.

The place is entirely too small..my table kept getting bumped and the waffles were greasy I love fluffy waffles I felt like I was eating a funnel cake from the fair

Me and my friends went here for our HOT Girls Brunch. This was everyone's first time dinning here. We were greeted by a friendly man who confirmed our reservations. They were behind on seating us but he made sure he communicated the delays which was nice. The venue was SMALL!!! everyone was sitting on top of each other. Me and my girls are plus size so walking through the restaurant was a tight squeeze. We had to wait for service but once the server got to our table she was very nice. NOW THE DJ WAS FIRE!! DJ270 was playing all the great hits! I was mad when he left for the other dj to spin. The food and drinks were GOOD and HOT! You can tell they had some grannies cooking in that kitchen and the bartenders poured that liquor. Overall, I wouldn't go back simply because of the space and the slow service. If they expanded to a bigger venue then SURE count me in! But until then, I'll have to pass. I would order a HennyRita and some chicken TO GO lol! Remember, what may not work for me, may work for you. I think you should pull up and experience the vibe for yourself because it wasn't all bad!

I wanted this to be great. We made a reservation for 6 people for Saturday at 11am. BTW we landed in Nashville at 7am. They sat us in the section to the right of the door which is not a table for dining. It is a picnic bench surrounded by uncomfortable chairs and a sofa. Definitely not a place you want to eat breakfast. The bench is below your knees. 2 big booths available, we asked to move and were quickly denied as they had reservations. Needless to say neither party showed while we were there. Management/leadership is lacking in common sense. After 15 minutes when the parties were not there, they could have suggested moving us and our drinks to the more adequate dining table but that did not happen. On to the food, 4 ladies ordered the Shrimp and grits, all stated just ok, the grits needed doctoring. They did come out really fast though. I ordered the chicken (4 wing dings) and waffles, it took so long to come out the other 4 ladies were done eating. The sixth lady ordered an omelet which came out with my food. She said it was really good! The ambiance, decor, lemon drop martini's and DJ were all on point! Suggestions for the restaurant: use more common sense, while you may have many local regulars, social media and reviews are worldwide! Attempt to make your customers happy so they write more 5 star reviews. This is a black owned restaurant that we as black successful women selected as part of our vacation experience, and we're disappointed. Get rid of the sofas and add more tables and chairs that can be rearranged to accommodate as needed. Stop using instant grits.

The food was decent and the aesthetic is really nice. However the little guy that worked as a host/table boy/ and security was extremely rude. After being there for only an hour he got on the mic and announced that if we had a party under 6 we were only allowed to stay for an hour and a half. He then proceeded to roll his eyes when he saw us order another drink (which was extremely sassy) he then was pointing at our table. We felt extremely rushed. Our food should have been free if we were going to be rushed to eat and enjoy our brunch. I feel like he should have redirected that energy towards the kitchen staff and servers, not towards paying customers. I understand that the building is extremely small but there should be a better, more professional system. I have a brunch group with over 100 members. We brunch all the time and mostly try to focus on supporting black owned businesses. After this experience, I will never recommend this place to anyone. Excellent drinks and I loved the vibe. The DJ spinned hip hop and r&b which was dope. The food however was not up to par. First, many of the menu items were not available because "the chef didn't feel like making it". My chicken breakfast tacos were awful, the flavor was burned and over seasoned and the potatoes were greasy and mushy. So instead of breakfast I ended up with lemon pepper wings. They were pretty accommodating about it so that's why it's 3 stars instead of 2.

My boyfriend and I have been here about 3-4 times now. Our last visit we were actually shocked that they have added gratuity to the checks. There are not many black owned places that have hookah, music, and good food in Nashville. The wings are always hot and good but the customer service lacks every time we have went. we have tried to give this place a couple of tried to see if the customer service would get better but it gets worse. We have to hunt down a waitress every time we are there to get anything at the table and they are not that friendly. I would not mind paying such high gratuity if the customer service was great.

Terrible experience! It was crowded. Food took forever. I did not receive my fries with my salmon tacos. I had to ask my waiter several times for my beverage. I was with a group and the birthday girl was very disappointed. More staff is needed at the bar and working the customer tables on the weekends.

I love coming to Twelve25. Everyone is nice. The service is always really good, they have the cutest decor, and Mia makes some bomb drinks!

I love this new place in the neighborhood. Valerie and all the ladies have always been so nice to me so I'm really shocked to see these other review of a rude waitstaff. I have come here several times and have always had a great time!

From the time of arrival until we received our food, the ambiance was amazing. The music was perfect. I loved everything about this visit. Thank you to Ms. Diamond who continued to serve our table even though it really wasn't supposed to be yours. The hostess was amazing. The owner even checked on our experience. I loved the food too-!! Amazing energy, thank goodness the other reviews did not stop me from going.
