This place is AMAZING! The service and atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Mike was our waiter tonight. He treated us very kind and he was helpful with recommendations on the menu and answered all of our questions. The food was by far the most delicious Thai food we’ve had. Everything was so flavorful. From the appetizers to the main course to the deserts. We are extremely satisfied and we will definitely be back! Thanks again Mike!

I've been to many Thai restaurants in the US and this place ranks as one of the best I've ever eaten at. A very goid menu. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff and ambiance were great! Definitely going back here!

Loved our experience at Sukho Thai, New Orleans. The vegan Kee Mao noodles and Kee Mao fried rice were full of bold, authentic flavors, while the crispy tofu and peppery garlic were perfectly done. Sukho Thai dumplings were a great starter, and the martini cocktail paired really well with the food. A must-visit spot for flavorful Thai cuisine 🌶️🍜🍸

Most favorite Thai restaurant till date!!! The ambience was amazing. Perfect place for a date. The service was on point and our waitress was very kind and thoughtful to understand the kind of spice level we were looking for and she served the food pretty quick. It was hot and delicious. We ordered pineapple fried rice and cashew nut with chicken which was served with Thai rice. Spent around $50-$60 including drinks. Overall go here if you want to have authentic Thai food with great ambience.

Absolutely loved Sukho Thai! The baked glass noodle shrimp was incredible—full of flavor and a must order. I’m from Atlanta and would 100% come back here whenever I’m in New Orleans. Huntley took great care of us and made our experience even better.

Sukho Thai has always been a favorite spot for me so I went to check out the October $1.75 Martini Special and it blew me away! The drinks were amazing and scary strong in the best way, and the food? STILL OBSESSED 🙌🏽 Their Tom kah soup always has me hooked and I can never resist the Seafood Hot Pot 🙌🏽 Run, don’t walk, before it’s gone! And tell Maria, the hostess with the Mostest I said thanks for adding Dragon Puffs to my list of favorites ☺️

Sukho Thai is a MUST if you’re in the area. We ordered the Butterfly Pea flower Dumplings, pad Thai with the seafood combo and the eggplant lovers. Everything was amazing. Not only was it the best food we’ve had so far in NOLA but it was hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Meg P was our server. She was so kind and helpful. She gave us great recommendations and was a real joy. Thank you Meg.

The staff were friendly and professional. We had excellent house hot Saki and fresh delicious beer. The food was so good. It was well made and extremely flavorful. We had pad Thai and crying dragon steak. The steak was cooked perfectly to order. The spice level was good. After we ate we thought we could have handled a little more spice. But it's always better to error of the safe side with the spice.

Favorite Thai spot in the city! The curries never disappoint and the appetizers we've tried are always perfectly prepared. The ahi katsu, satay skewers and dumplings are some recommendations. The Uptown location is beautiful (haven't been to the Marigny location - but had food delivered from there). My favorite spot for tom yum soup, too. Service can be spotty, but nothing to complain about.

Worth a visit though could not spot anyone on the staff who looked Thai; must have been in the back as the food was good as was the cold Sake. Friendly service, good value, funky space. They offer different "heat" preferences for some of the dishes so if you like it hot don't be afraid to order five out of five.

ALLERGIES. Their delivery is for shit. We got two meals we couldn't eat (allergies) Their manager told us to call Uber for bad delivery. He was unconcerned about the delivery If I had eaten it I would have been in the hospital.

We saw online that they had a full page of vegan items, so we excitedly stopped in for a dinner. We ordered: -Pad Kee Mao ($13.95) with Fried Tofu (+$2), comes with rice -Spicy Chinese Broccoli ($13.95) with Fried Tofu (+$2), comes with rice -Lime Leaf Curry ($13.95) with Soft Tofu (+$2) We ordered the first two 4/5 spiciness and the curry 5/5. All 3 dishes were fantastic, especially the curry. Richly flavoured, balanced, with lots of perfectly cooked, still-crunchy veggies. We loved it all. Super friendly and hospitable service. This was honestly our best meal in NOLA.

Food was off the chain, my cocktail was good too. Bar keep was very nice and led me to the right thing on the menu, I love a good duck so I had the duck soup dish, a duck ramen I believe. Everyone was nice even the other people at the bar, we had shots with them all. The atmosphere was nice and clean as well, I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good Thai.

Date night worthy! We were attending an event nearby so we decided to dine somewhere near the event. Small, quaint, and inviting. When we arrived the hostess wasn't very welcoming. She showed no real emotion or really greeted us but she was saved by what ended up being our waiter, who was much more pleasant. We were seated by the window facing Elysian Fields which was great for people watching. I had a glass of house Cabernet which was excellent (can't remember the brand) and we had the soft shell crab for an appetizer. The food came out quickly, was perfectly seasoned and spiced, though my significant other preferred a tad bit more heat to his. Overall we had a great experience and will be back, though I'd love to try the Magazine Street location. We had a reservation, however it wasn't very busy. It's a small location so I'd imagine it getting busier as it gets later as we dined at 5 pm on a Friday. There were several people coming in for take out orders. It's in the Bywater so parking is hit or miss but we lucked up.

This was a great flavorful and healthy option if you aren't into fried food covered in mayo and hot sauce. We shared the ahi tuna fresh roll, the minty chicken salad and the seafood curry. Check their website for the nightly drink specials.

The food remains good, but they have raised their prices numerous times, and it's finally to the point where I won't order again. They took away ordering on their website. You must order through Uber now. Appetizers have been raised to over $10, and the vegan dishes no longer come with tofu! They raised the prices AND make you pay for tofu now! It's a shame this city has such a deficit of Thai restaurants, but they've priced me out. Chinese and sushi from now on -- no more Sukho Thai.

This was about a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter... but we wanted something that wasn't "touristy" during our stay. Although the walk was hot and not the "most scenic" = (keep your head on swivel)... this is a fine restaurant to Uber to. We ordered a lunch special shrimp and bamboo and the seafood hot pot with shrimp and mussels. They ask how spicy on a scale of 1 - 5 when you order the spicy dishes. My wife and I are of Indian/desi background so we can handle spicy. We ordered a 3 for the lunch special and a 4 for the hot pot. This is enough for us. The four was probably a bit much, but that's what I wanted, I wanted to be reaching for the Thai Iced tea (which was great and really sweet). Great food. We went on a Tuesday during lunch hours and it wasn't too busy. The food come out in about 15 minutes. I always try to find a Thai spot during my travels and this rates very high up the ranking. Excellent restaurant !!!

Always a favorite. I think we've learned to stick to our favorites though - pineapple fried rice & red curry.

So I came here with my boyfriend, he is Lao-Thai. His knowledge and taste of authentic Thai Foods is credible . We came with high expectation thinking the 1.3K of reviews will not do me wrong but the food was below par. The order was Crying Tiger Steak, Panang Curry, and Sukho Royal TomYum. The Crying Tiger Steak still raw and wasn't medium rare, the middle part was still alive and mooing. The Panang was watery and had no flavor and we asked for Thai-Hot but it wasn't spicy. But the TomYum pretty good and that's the only food we finished.

For lunch, we visited the restaurant, enjoying its serene and lovely ambiance. Although the service felt a bit prolonged due to hunger, it was still reasonably quick. I ordered the drunken noodles for the main course, and they were incredibly delicious; it's hard to adequately describe their taste. But it's the one to visit. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the delightful mango sticky rice, a perfect ending to our satisfying lunch experience.

Highly recommend this place! We got the drunken noodles w/ shrimp, panang curry w/ duck, and fresh rolls. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. The ambiance is lovely, and it's in a very walkable area close to the French Quarter. It's about a 20-minute walk from the Westin, and you can pass Jackson Square on the route!

The absolutely BEST Thai food in the state of Louisiana! I loooove Thai and I have tried various restaurants and not one has come close to the level of satisfaction I feel every single time I visit this establishment. No matter which location I visit I am always pleased with the service, cleanliness, staff interaction and the amount of flavor that each dish provides. On this visit we were charmed by Michelle who we've met in the past at the Magazine location. She is always so welcoming and gives the best recommendations when I decide to deter from my usual entree. The Thai tea is always fresh and delicious. On this visit we had the shrimp in a pouch, roti with yellow curry sauce, the house salad with peanut sauce, Drunken fried rice with shrimp and a wok served with white rice called, "I love you my sweetheart" it had eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, mushroom and onion, with ground chicken, three soy sauces and sesame oil served in a hotpot. EXCELLENT CHEFS KISS!!!!

So good! We were looking for a place with semi- healthy choices after days of feasting on high sodium and rich sauced New Orleans seafood and fried things. Beautiful building inside and out. We got great service also. Food came out quickly and accurately even though it was later at night about an hour before their close. I could not believe a restaurant this good was so dead on a Friday night. From their huge diverse menu, we decided on a couple of Thai ice teas which were perfectly prepared and generous sizes, a salad and a noodle dish. Our meal also started with an appetizer order of summer rolls which were scrumptious and so refreshing, filled with lettuce, carrots, tofu, cucumber and herbs served with a fragrant and tasty peanut dipping sauce. My daughter got the Drunken noodles and I ordered the Grilled Beef salad with Nuok Cham dressing. Both were prepared with the exact level of med hot spice that we requested. Everything was delicious!

Met some out of state friends for lunch. Per usual my guests always have a wild first night in town so there's nothing like spicy Thai to cure them. We came in after the lunch rush so there was only one other table dining that I could see. I did yellow curry, and we did drunken noodles, pad Thai and a rice dish with a scallop, mussel and shrimp combo. I had enough leftover to take home for dinner! Our server was on top of refills of cokes and sodas despite any request for one, which was nice. Great value!

This place was very nice inside and the food was great! I loved the Thai fried rice and everyone else at our table enjoyed their dishes! Our server was awesome.

First time here, We were craving for some soup but ordering other food too. This spot is near by our Air Bnb. Cute little restaurant with Thai style decorations. I am surprised the food is really tasty and good. So much flavor. I had the beef soup and seafood soup. Yummy. Thank you and I would recommend this to anyone.

From out of town. Stayed at a hotel about 10 minutes away. Called and ordered pick up, food was still really good by the time we got into our room! Pad thai + chicken level 3 spicy. I probably could have gone to 4 or 5 because I love spicy! However with just level 3 it wad still super flavorful. Not bland at all. Some places make pad thai taste too sweet and too much peanut butter but this was great. Tom yum noodle + seafood was also really tasty! I definitely would come back to get this! Mango sticky rice was a little disappointing. Rice was still kind of hard. Mango was on the sour side. I probably skip this next time

All 10's, always 10's. We decided to do Thai for dinner tonight and are never disappointed. The vibe inside is so intimate and cozy, I always opt for a seat by the window. Service is also a 10 because online ordering is always fast is almost always done before the scheduled time. My go to is the Thai fried rice with shrimp and pork belly but I opted for the chicken today. I don't really like the chicken but I wanted to try something different. I also got the cucumber chutney which is so refreshing. I do prefer the Marigny location over the Magazine location because of the party situation. If you're in the area check this place out!

I cannot get enough Sukhothai. Best thai food in NOLA, no contest. A friend treated me to three courses here the other night and it was the high point of the week. Everything was excellent from start to finish. We began with fresh rolls which were beautifully presented with green aromatic herbage. The peanut sauce was delightful. I devoured them all and somehow still put a dent in the rest of dinner. I chose the pineapple curry with tofu and veggies as an entree and it was nothing short of epic. Came in a huuuuge bowl with all the best veg and a ton of tofu. The spice balance was just right too. My friend insisted on dessert so I chose the sticky rice with coconut milk and mango. It was a work of art, with far more fruits than just mango. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and I felt guilty even eating it when the plate was so darn pretty. Almost finished it all though. It was my first time trying this dish, and I was impressed. It was pleasantly sweet but not overpoweringly so, and the coconut flavor really came through. Overall, a fantastic meal. I was able to bring plenty home to snack on later.

Really phenomenal Thai food! Our server was very sweet, but service was a little clunky due to one server being sent home sick. I loved my tofu dirty noodles. I added Chinese eggplant and am so glad I did! I'm also glad I chose 3/5 for spice. I like spicy and have spent time in Thailand (the place where Americans learn what spicy REALLY means) and this was the perfect level of heat for me. Other fan favorites were the beef fried rice and the cashew chicken. The seafood combo pad Thai was reportedly delicious except for the fact that it came out a little cold. The AC was blasting so we ordered a pot of tea, which really hit the spot. The coconut and floral flavor of the tea was really strong. Overall a great experience. I would return.

Surprisingly good Thai food in the city despite it feeling really Americanized. Ordered - Tempura Eggplants (5/5). Star of the night. This appetizer was so lightly battered that it did not feel heavy or unhealthy. Dipping it to the Thai sweet & sour sauce gave it a 1, 2 punch. Highly recommend! - Satay Chicken (2/5). Very dry and below average compared to other satays we've tried. The chicken was really overcooked, flavorless, and the sauce tasted old. The pickled veggies on the side was the highlight of this dish - Pad Thai (3/5). Really acidic-tasting. Some places make it really fish-saucy and others really acidic-tomato-ey tasting. This fell more in the right of the spectrum. The noodles were nicely cooked and had good texture but the sauce was not a winner - Waterfall Duck (3/5). Duck was really stale and did not taste fresh. Had in my mind of peking-style duck but came out really dry and not juicy. The veggies serving as the base was good and added balance but was really salty. Only (minor) comment was our hostess was not the friendliest or fun to be around. She didn't look happy and attitude reflects ambiance of the setting. Otherwise this was a decent find..

Enjoy the flavor of both dishes I ordered very much. However, I don't understand why the rice noodles are being broken into little tiny pieces. I don't like my drunken noodles like that at all. Had to ask for them to be left in tact. second time and they still didn't follow my request 100%. Service is been great both times. Excellent location in a very stylish decor.

Absolutely delicious food and great service! Sukho Thai on Royal St is a hidden gem. We stopped by in November 2023 on our third day in New Orleans after trying most of local cuisine dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! Perhaps the best Thai food we ever tasted. Flavorful, rich, perfectly done, with heat level exactly as ordered on a scale of 1 to 5. The menu was so big that we had hard time choosing as many dishes looked equally appealing. We settled on Tom Kha Gai soup and Ahi Katsu for appetizers and Salmon Pineapple Curry and Green Curry with Scallops for mains. The soup was one of the best Tom Khas we had and both mains were amazing like out of this world. The service was top notch as well. Our server Tasheika was very friendly, attentive, and helpful choosing dishes and the heat level of the food. We felt warm, comfortable and really enjoyed our dinner. Thank you! We highly recommend Sukho Thai on Royal St if you like Thai cuisine and you are in the area! They are just one block away from famous Frenchmen St.

The most flavorful, freshest Thai food you will find. My wife is a Laos chef (basically the same as Thai) and she adores this place. She correctly assesses the papaya salad to not be as good as hers, but everything else earns her praise at Sukho. This whole fish couldn't be fresher and the veggies alone are worth the trip. If you are needing a break from Creole food when in town, this is your place.

Our server was an absolute super star who gave great recommendations! The atmosphere is relaxed but very cute. We shared a bunch of appetizer that were just ok, but every single entree was 10/10! I wish we hadn't eaten it all so I had some leftovers for today!

Service was excellent. The wait staff was very helpful with selecting my meal. I ordered Spicy shrimp done in a Wok. It was Very good. My only complaint was there was only 5 shrimp in my meal. I know this isn't important but my feeling was at least 6.

Food outstanding tasting. Had Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken. Service was very good and prompt. Nice ambience in an old historical New Orleans building. Got the heat level, spiciness of one. They will go to five on the heat if you want.

My gf and I stayed near the restaurant and came in for soup because my gf had a hangover. The boat noodle soup was really delicious. Full of authentic flavors. I love Rad nah and their rad nah dish was really good as well. Majority of what we order over exceeded our expectations. They kept to the authenticity of Thai flavors. Service was awesome. Checked on us numerous of times and made sure we were getting everything we needed.

The food was okay, meh. I wasn't impressed nor dissatisfied. I had the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice and a Scallop dish. The veggies in the Scallop dish were completely raw. The snap beans were unedible as well as the peppers and onions. I normally eat ALL of the vegetables served to me, not this time. I ate the scallops and left the rest. The fried rice was meh, nothing special. My brother ordered the shrimp satay and the Tom yum soup, medium spice. He received an extremely spicy soup and chicken satay. Both dishes had to be returned for a redo. Of course, the soup came back with NO SPICE, although Medium was requested. The chicken satay was replaced with shrimp, however BOTH dishes were on the final check. Also, when we were finally able to request the check, we received a VERBAL check total. I had to request a paper check!! That's not cool at all. Good thing that I asked for a printed receipt as it was incorrect. Will I return? Not on my own, but if a friend wants to go there, I might. But I will tell them of my experience.

Good food, fair prices, but the hostess in the front was pretty unwelcoming/toeing the line on rude.

Came here after CdV and was sat immediately. No inflated wait and the restaraunt was clean. Barely any service, horrible actually, but it was a parade night so whatever, still tipped well. The food was incredible. Having never been a fan of Thai food (and disliking pad thai when I've tried it), I didn't think I'd like this. I still didn't like the pad thai so I ordered garlicky beef and it was delicious. Portions could have been bigger but whatever. The food was tasty and the Thai Sriracha was delicious. I got a 2/5 on the spiciness but think a 3 or 4 might be better as I barely felt it. Overall, this is a place I'd definetly recommend for anyone in the city to go to. There's a location on magazine as well if you want to avoid going to the marginy

Huge disappointment tonight for a place that's usually good. Sukho Thai Dumplings were not good Fresh Rolls (Vegan) were ok. Crying Tiger Beef Steak was like eating shoe leather swimming in water. Yellow Curry Chicken was good as always.

Stumbled in here while waiting for the hop off/on bus, which is right outside the restaurant. Full bar with great drinks, check out the spiked Thai tea. Service was wonderful, Angie, our server was very friendly and attentive. The music was nice and not too loud. The food was delicious. We met the chef, I guess all the cooks are Thai. Stop in if you can.

Excellent food in a cool space. Service was incredible and Ashton the manager was the coolest and nicest. We're staying in the area from out of town and this was our first stop. Totally worth it! The prices were reasonable and the drinks were delicious. They have good happy hour deals as well!

I appreciated this restaurant initially because it was off the beaten path but just two blocks from the spotted cat on Frenchmen.I think we were some of the only non tourists in the joint. I also appreciated the veggie options! Thank god for Thai food.The food was good. And we ate a LOT. We had papaya salad, veggie rolls non fried, fried eggplant, chicken skewers, some kind of lime leaf curry, eggplant/tofu entree, and dessert. The waitress was nice. She was soft spoken and sweet. The host was a gentlemen and he was also nice and hard working revolving from host to serving food to taking orders to talking with clients and even at some point noticed i had a strange look and came to ask whats up. There were two issues: 1) it was absolutely freezing. 2) our table stopped being waited on once i talked to the manager For the freezing part; i was right under the AC vent. I asked the first staff member that walked past me if it would be ok for him to turn down the AC. There was also a table near us that was cold because even the kid put his hood on and people put their jackets. The blue haired guy could have cared less. He said he could not turn it down. I asked if we could move to the other room (that was empty) but he said no as they were closing it down for the evening (we were one hour before close). I then asked if we could move two tables over in the same room so as to not be under the vent and he just said no. At that point we had not received apps yet so it was possible and would not have created extra work. At that point i was pissed: i repeated what he said "so you cant turn it down and we cant move"? I was literally freezing and I didn't have a jacket since its warm outside! He then realized he sounded like a jerk and said "ill see what i can do, i dont promise anything". He was not flexible but for some reason the room got magically less cold soon after. That said, at some point, the freezing cold returned: i must have looked like i was dying so the host whom was very attentive to everyone, came over and kindly asked if i was ok. I explained i was freezing.. he said he would see what he could do but he couldnt figure it out so he called the manager over. The manager was a real manager. She clearly wanted to know what the problem was to fix it. I appreciated that: she explained that it was partially just broken. I appreciated the honesty also. She could have completely cut it (because there were three tables including ours that were freezing) however she didnt (i think kitchen might have been hot but she couldnt tell me that) on the other hand she did raise the temperature. One of the customers at the table next to us turned to us (after she switched seats with her husband) and said "it got freezing right?! Its not just me!" After the managers explanation, service completely came to a halt. We were waiting for them to clear the table for over 30 minutes. They kept helping all other tables but our server never returned. We didnt want to be annoying since we already had been annoying due to the AC but literally we got abandoned. I had to call someone over and asked if we could have the FBI desert. My dad was super excited about the FBI desert and had intentionally not finished apps/entree so that he could have it. Fried bananas. Anyway so that staff member said the kitchen was closed. I was super pissed because we purposely didnt want to rush anyone or get the waitress in trouble so we waited 30 minutes while everyone else was attended to (not exaggerating on timing) and our table was not even being cleared and then we were told sorry no can do. I was mad and told the manager that it was not cool and we should have been asked if we wanted something else prior to kitchen shutting down especially that we had been just waiting. She replied that i should have told her when she walked by earlier. Whats funny is that I intentionally had not told her because 1) she was not our waitress and i didnt want to bother her 2) i didnt want to make our waitress look bad.... So basically by trying to be nice, my dad had missed out on his fbi dessert that he had been talking about all dinner long (lol!). I told the manager softly that it was disappointing. I didnt say more but i think she could read my face. She ended up making things right and Actually making us the desert To be honest, the desert was ridiculous. It was a humongous ice cream with the TINIEST "balls" of banana. It was good though and we appreciated the manager making it right. Overall, the food was good. The service was chaotic. Everyone help which was communal and cool but because of that service was not on point because someone didn't necessarily pick up when someone else dropped off. For example, after the first manager visit, waitress never returned. The whole thing was not pleasant and i wouldnt return if I lived here. That said, its not a bad restaurant if you want some veggie options and something not fried..

SukhoThai has move to the best Thai restaurant in New Orleans!!! I am giving it five stars!!! This restaurant food and drinks are very delicious!!! Their food is made with real Thailand seasonings and spices!!! I have word to say about SukhoThai, (Awesome)!!! I definitely recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone and everyone!!!

Oh yeah. Veeeery tasty thai food! Their level 3 (medium) spiciness is just enough to start your nose running, just for a point of reference. Go higher at your own risk. My husband had the Caribbean Pirate Seafood plate and I had the Pad Kee Mao Noodle dish (veggie no meat). Both of us got medium spicy. Whoo! So good. We had taken a bite or two when I remembered to take a pic. Portions are just right. Not too much, not too little. Will definitely return.

Sukhothai Restaurant took us on a Thai noodle journey that spoiled our taste buds. From Boat Noodles to Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodles, and Grass Noodle Salad, each dish was a masterpiece. Don't miss tasting the noodles in Thai style; it's an authentic delight. Sukhothai offers the perfect blend of flavors, excellent service, and a Thai culinary adventure. We'll be back for more!

Awesome food, service mediocre, ambiance nice. The food was awesome both times I was there. Service was awesome the 1st time there however the service was not the greatest the 2nd time there. I had my food and had not gotten my drink yet!

This is my first time visiting this place and it did not disappoint. Service was good but the main star of the show was definitely the shrimp pad Thai with gulf shrimp. It was very flavorful and spicy and just perfect. You get to pick the heat you want from 1-5 I got 3 and it had a slight kick of spice but was still very enjoyable. The veggie roll appetizer was good nothing special but still enjoyable. The shrimp in a pouch was exactly what it sounds like and it wasn't something I'd ever crave or want again. Overall, I'm excited to come back and try their other menu options!

I was excited to eat here, it smelled so good! Unfortunately it didn't taste as good as it smelled. I ordered pineapple fried rice and there were SO many onions, HUGE onions (see picture). After picking them out it was actually pretty decent, that's why they got three stars. I also ordered vegan Chinese broccoli. The tofu was over cooked and there was enough garlic in this dish to kill a horse. Had they mentioned that on the menu I would have said no garlic. It felt like the chef was overcompensating for something. Overall, if I was pretty desperate and nothing else was open in New Orleans I would try this place again.

Can't believe it's been five years since I last ate here! Well everything I've said before still stands! Their Beef Boat Noodle Soup is still my favorite and perfect for cold rainy days. Because of covid I decided to order for delivery and their online ordering was super easy and my food was delivered quickly, carefully packaged and I received a text when the delivery person arrived and gave them instructions to leave at door for minimal contact.

Always great when I come here. My favorite thing to get is the pineapple seafood curry & spicy!! I also tried the pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was cooked perfectly. The only thing I didn't like about this visit was my server took forever to come back to the table for refills, seeing if I needed anything , etc. they had other workers that were checking instead. Other than that. Bomb time. Love this place!!!

A great spot for Thai food in New Orleans! Prices were reasonable. Dishes were flavorful. But next time i'll ask for double thai hot lol because my Thai hot was more like a medium. Overall, we enjoyed the meal!

Such a great little gem!! First of all, the Lychee Martini is something that you MUST try. I've never had anything like it. The food is authentic and made with love and passion. I love over 30 mins from here and plan on making this a weekly go-to. Anika is a sweetheart and was a wonderful ambassador to this establishment. It's worth whatever it takes to get her.... JUST GET HERE!

I ordered from here frequently last year, very sad to say I did not have the same experience and won't be risking it again. I always order mango sticky rice and yellow curry, which are both usually pretty tasty and are well-portioned. Once I made the mistake of getting the ahi tuna, it was awful, super fishy. It was definitely old, I didn't eat it. I also got pad Thai once that smelled horrendous, like a stinky pungent garbage-like aroma. I've eaten pad Thai hundreds of times and it's never smelled like that. All that said, I love their yellow curry and it's close to my house (free delivery). Tonight I ordered tofu yellow curry ($18) added a scoop of rice noodles, and mango sticky rice ($8) + a side of sticky rice. Essentially it was $30 for one main item and a dessert. I paid and tipped $5 cash. An hour later I get my food, excited and hungry! Sunday night is my takeout night and of all the places in NOLA, I chose SukhoThai. Here we go: Mango sticky rice $8: tiny container with flavorless rice covered in flavorless coconut milk. You get 1/4 of a mango, they don't even give you half lol Yellow curry: half container of thick gravy-like super spicy (I ordered mild-medium), uncooked carrots, and mostly tofu. Wasn't edible alone, it was like a bullion cube of flavor with a gritty thick texture. Luckily, I had a can of coconut milk, I added half to each dish and sugar to the mango sticky. So, I call the restaurant and was greeted by the manager. I told him what was going on and he responds "the curry container is always half full because once you add rice then it's full". Sounds like a rip off to me but okay. I told him last year it would be almost full and for $18??? This wouldnt cost $18 to make a full pot. It doesn't even have meat, mostly carrots and tofu. Manager refunded me the curry but refused to hear any of my criticism. He also said "you didn't leave a tip so I can't refund you that too", first of all yes I did it was cash. Second, what does this gross food have to do with the driver!? He did his part, it's not like he cooked it! That was so shady to me. The manager says he packed my food and didn't see anything wrong, so basically he didn't believe me and refunded and rushed off the phone. Thanks for my refund but I actually just wanted good food. It feels like a scam how little food you get for so much money, and for how many ingredients/effort is skimped. I wouldn't pay $8 for this curry, let alone $18. It's sad they are like this now, I won't be coming back. :(

We were staying in the rental unit above the restaurant, so this was our first meal in NOLA. We did a late lunch and loved it. Highly recommend the tempura eggplant - it was a surprise standout for sure. We also got the pad thai and some wine. It was all reasonably priced and delicious. Staff were so friendly too. They gave us tips on where to go for breakfast and just generally set the tone for our trip.

I called my order in and picked it up at the pickup window I went during lunch and had pork belly pad Thai and dumplings. The pad Thai sauce was sour tasting to me (as opposed to what I'm used to, which is a sweet and slightly peanut taste, which is what I prefer). The noodles were not the traditional flat rice noodles but looked more like angel hair noodles. The dumplings were good. The food came to the window when they said it would (within the 15 minutes). Parking is limited to neighborhood parking and a few places on Elysian Fields (note that this is the Marigny restaurant and is on the corner of Elysian Fields and Royal). Even though the pad Thai wasn't my liking, I'll be back to try other items.
