We had such a wonderful dinner at SUKHO Thai! The food was exceptional—everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Our server Dali was truly outstanding. He’s full of life, extremely friendly, and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we walked in. He checked on us throughout the meal and made sure we were well taken care of. His energy and hospitality really elevated our whole experience! We started with the appetizer platter, which included spring rolls, shrimp rolls, crab Rangoon, and chicken pockets—every single item was delicious and cooked to perfection. For our entrees, we ordered the Pad Thai curry, garlic fried rice with egg, Pad Thai, and stir-fried beef. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and we loved every bite! Overall, we had an amazing time and truly enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend SUKHO Thai—and definitely ask for Dali! He made our visit unforgettable!!

The food at Sukhothai was delicious and the service was truly exceptional! The dishes were well prepared — everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. As an Asian I appreciated the perfectly cooked rice. The portions were also very generous, we could barely finish half our meal! But what really made this place unforgettable was the service and ambience. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive — you could feel the genuine care in how they treated every guest. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and full of positive energy. You could tell many of the customers were regulars, and the staff greeted them like old friends, which made the space feel even more inviting. This was easily the best customer service I experienced in Michigan. I’ll definitely be coming back to Sukhothai whenever I visit Dearborn again!

I think I can rank this place in my Top 5 places to eat of all time. Everything was great from the time we walked in the door. All of our food came out fast and hot. I had the chance to have the N6 Medium spice. If you’re a spice lover this is really good and flavorful. And for my appetizer we had the 56 and the platter. Every thing was so good my favorite was the curry puffs. Strawberry tea and blue Hawaiian candy soda. Every was great but the tea is the best. Will be returning soon!

I really enjoyed the staff, they were so friendly. The location was easy to find. I ordered platter, the strawberry soda, the chicken curry,and sexy roll. They were all very good. I also.ordered the drunken noodles they were just ok. I cant wait to go back and try more dishes dishes.

We ordered the hot pot and it was a letdown. The portions were badly unbalanced, with barely any noodles and very limited ingredients, and there were no proper sauces to customize the dish. The taste was mid and nothing stood out enough to justify the price. Service was minimal. Staff rarely checked on us, yet an automatic service charge was added anyway. The final bill came out to around $60 per person with tip, which felt completely unreasonable. For much less, you can go to a buffet-style hot pot place and get better variety, proper sauces, and far more food. Poor value overall and not a place I’d return to.

I ordered the Fried Red Snapper. It was hard, very dry and tasted old. I asked the waitress could I switch the meat to something else she told me NO! I told her I ordered it because I thought it was gonna be good but I did not order old nasty tasteless fish. She proceeded to tell me also that because I ordered it I cannot switch it or get it taken off the bill because that is their policy which that policy was not posted nowhere in the restaurant. They would not take it off the bill and they would not allow me to switch my food without paying additional for a different meal. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant, it also was dirty looking! They need to sweep the floors!!

The food in Dearborn never seizes to surprise me. The food here was amazing! I got the Wonton Soup, Thai Chicken, and Tamarind shrimp. They were all so amazing!

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable for today's standard, very unquie drinks, huge portions of food, great selection, food was very good, spice levels were reasonable based on their level, if you are a pad thai lover, this place is for you. I will go going back to try the hot pot.

Was in town and in the mood for Thai food, so I decided to stop by. The staff was super friendly and service was fast, which I really appreciated. It's also a plus that the restaurant is halal-friendly. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the Thai iced tea, which was overly sweet and tasted a little watered down. The drunken noodles were decent -- probably the best of what I ordered -- but still nothing particularly memorable. We also got the golden wings, which were too oily for my taste and had a heavy layer of fried breading that overshadowed the actual chicken. Lastly, we tried the gaeng massaman curry, which I didn't enjoy. It was overly salty, and the fried potatoes in it were thin and crispy, almost like potato chips -- not what I was expecting. Overall, while I really liked the service and halal options, the food didn't quite live up to expectations.

Was in town for a short time and wanted to try this place out after seeing it on TikTok lol. Initially wanted to go with a hotpot but went with the drunken noodles instead, my go to. We also got pad thai chicken, and a dragon roll. All the food was great. I asked for spicy spicy drunken noodles, and when my nose started to run after the first bite, I was giving this place 5 stars no matter what happened after that. Service was good, everyone was nice and the food was awesome. The dragon roll was also really really good, ingredients were noticeably fresh as well. Idk why this place only has 4 stars but I couldn't care less, I went anyways! Highly recommend.

Service was friendly and helpful, and food was amazing! The ambiance was pretty chill and relaxed, clean and simple, nothing crazy. We had the papaya salad, Shrimp Pad Thai and the Beef Gaeng Pa-Naeng. Everything was super flavorful and amazing, especially the Gaeng Pa-Naeng which came with rice and this super flavorful gingery curry which we all ate by the spoonful. Portions were quite large so definitely considering sharing with friends and family - or not :) Great halal spot to try if you're bored of all the Mediterranean joints in the area!

This place was good for a halal place not going to lie but not enough food for 4 for the platter. The service was amazing and so was the owner. I like their soups but def not the hot pot maybe I'm Being biased cause I eat hot pot a lot In Canada and this place was new. But give them a try!

This is a solid place for halal Thai food. The dishes we tried were all flavorful. My favorites were the pad Thai curry, kao sai, and potato curry. The crab rangoons were also delicious and crispy. Portion sizes were good but it was a bit pricey. As an Indian, medium plus spice level was a good level of spice for me.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We make the 45 minute drive just to eat here. I love the food and believe the pad Thai curry and appetizer combination platter are delicious. HOWEVER, the portion size has really decreased along with the price increasing. I don't mind paying as I understand inflation and such. But paying more for smaller portions does make me upset. We used to be able to easily take leftovers home. Now it kind of feels like we have to "fight" over who can take more of whichever item while dining in. On a positive note, the food never misses and the staff is super nice, especially Ali! We also received free Bingsu to sample which was really kind of them!

This place was insanely busy when I went a few months ago. We had to wait about 40 mins for a table because they were not accepting phone reservations. The ambience isn't anything extraordinary, but the food is what shines here. I went in for the hotpot, and I was definitely happy with the experience. I will say that it was definitely on the pricier side- the hot pot, and fried rice, and their sparkling drinks ran our table of 3 $140 before tip.

I ordered Drunken Noodles which were smothered in red bell and green bell peppers. Does not belong in Drunken Noodles. That's okay I scooped Them to the side but the flavor was so overpowered if the beef was bad I would have never been able to taste it. I also ordered it extra hot. What I do know, I woke up at 2:00 a.m. with the most horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. It is 2:43 p.m. the next day and I'm still stuck to the toilet. I called Sukho Thai this morning and they told me that's the problem of Uber Eats. I asked why is it their problem. It was delivered in a timely matter and it was hot. I also had crispy rolls which tasted well. I had not yet eaten the ginger salad. Something made me very ill and they don't care. Again how could it be the delivery services problem. To report it to Uber eats I had to use their website and it took over 2 hours of it refusing the pictures of the containers. I finally called a number for the merchants and they wouldn't talk to me from Uber at all. $50 gone and I've been sick since 2:00 a.m. I've been eating Drunken Noodles for years. Again big hunks of red bell pepper and green bell pepper do not go in there. I'm repeating myself the peppers didn't make me sick but something did

Ordered 3-4 items all were amazing - the drunken noodles are amazing, the curry too, and the soup is one of a kind for sure - highly recommend

It has been awhile since my last visit. I had a bowl of Tom Yum Gai and Beef Guay Teow Heang (steamed rice noodles with brown sauce and cooked bean sprouts topped with crushed peanuts, fried garlic and scallions). The flavors on the soup and noodle dish were spot on. I knocked it one star because the mushrooms in the soup were barely cooked/raw (could have benefited from another 20-30 seconds of cooking time) and the soup was warm, but not steaming hot. Also, the noodle dish was luke warm, but not hot (guessing they either rinsed the noodles in cold water or the bean sprouts were cold when added to the dish which cooled down the entire dish). Given that this Thai restaurant's prices are higher than its competitors, my expectation is that the execution in the preparation of the dishes would have been more thorough, which was disappointing because both the soup and noodle dish are both delicious! Perhaps they were just off their game today. I will visit again because both dishes were delicious.

Came here with my cousins and ordered the crab Rangoon and the Bangkok chicken. Food, service and ambiance were all good. Subtracting a star because the crab rangoons were expensive and the leftovers didn't taste good at all. It only tasted good when served fresh.

Great food and wonderful service I ordered I'll come back on my next visit I ordered the pad se ew mild + spicy ant it was perfect Large enough to tak half back to the hotel for a snack later

Was ok food. Service was good. We thought it was a tad bit expensive but the the people are nice. Too much sugar in the dishes.

We first met Ms Yaya at the associated Sukhothai restaurant in Rochester Hills and now she's here. Sukhothia of Dearborn will be a great success blending stellar Thai food with unparalleled hospitality. The appetizers are all good, try them all and bring some home. Crispy rolls, Spring rolls, and fresh rolls are all so different yet each dish is perfect. I get the curries, gang Massaman, or gang Keo Wan are my faves. The restaurant is bright, cheerful and clean and you'll be looking forward to your next visit before you finish your left-overs.

Decided to try this Thai place. My sister is actually from the area so suggested we try this place. It's a very clean and lighting is really good. I absolutely hated the chairs! One star off. Didn't give you much room to move around. Our server was super nice and friendly. Service was fast. Order was made fresh to order. We got the chicken satay, pineapple curry ( forgot the name), another coconut based curry GB5 on the menu, GB8 and crab Rangoon. Out total was around 95 for 4 adults one child. Plenty of parking available. Again very nice and clean location. Good experience just not a fan of the chairs.

Really hate to say it because this was suggested to me by a friend, but I've grown up next to bangkok 96 so i feel spoiled. Got the pad ped with chicken, my go to at bangkok 96 is catfish pad ped - so long story short it was nowhere near what I was expecting. Edible? Sure. Skimping on chicken sauce is watery and so on and so forth. They are open late on a Sunday evening though.

Pad Thai was delightfully flavored. Even though coming in on a busy Saturday night, they had my takeout order ready for me within 20 minutes, and when I walked in, I was swiftly taken care of. The server politely even grabbed me a few extras that I needed, even though she was super busy!

I was hesitant to return to this restaurant because the last few times weren't the best of experiences. This time i went a little later in the day. Things were i bit different. I tried something new but all was made pleasant not only because of the company i was with but the waiter made it all pleasant. He was very accommodating with our large party. However i will still say that the hot pot is still a bit overpriced since most other places in the metro area are half price.

I was visiting my friend to catch up over lunch. The food was good however, they chose to box our food. In the process, they switched up our meals and now I can't eat any of the food I paid for because I am vegetarian and the food I received is not. And I barely ate my meal in person so I had an entire portion left to take home. If they are going to choose to box our meals then they should at least label or correctly deliver to their customers. And on top of it all, I found a long black hair in the leftovers I did receive. Very disappointed and a waste of food and money.

I attended the Grand Opening yesterday. Chef Asama and her kitchen staff were turning out terrific dishes. Buddy was running the front of the house. Will I return? Yes!

Wow! Probably the best Thai food I've had in a LONG time! I'm visiting from out of town and SUKHO did not disappoint! The pad Thai was flavorful and saucy and the sushi rolls, which were delicious! Will definitely be back again !!

I have ordered take out from Sukho Thai five or six times. Every time the food is hot and delicious. They always prep the take out bags so there are no spills or leaks! I would highly recommend if you enjoy Thai food to give them a try! Yum!

Food is not great to say the least very mid you can make all of this at home. Secondly nothing stood out to me and the chicken comes in weird chunks and didn't taste good at all.also every table got complementary snacks at the beginning except my table overall don't recommend it and you can get much better for the price. P:s food smells bad

So delicious! Very comforting environment, the owners are so kind. The waitress was okay, could do better. The food was delicious, really enjoyed the pad thai with tofu.

everything was amazing, the service was top tier, and the ambiance was great. i will definitely be back for the drunken noodles and the mango passion fruit tea! i haven't had thai food that good in a while. they also pack it up for you when you're ready to go, and i think that is so nice!

That was an A++ meal!! Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had and I've been around to quite a few in Wayne county (can't speak for Ann Arbor/Oakland County areas). Pad Thai, Chicken, Medium. It was packed with flavor, great ratio of items. Can't wait to go back again this week!!!

I ordered food through their website and it never showed up. When I called the restaurant they said it had already been delivered. I was promised a phone call from the owner regarding a refund, no one has called. I have emailed this business regarding and have not heard back from them. Sukho Thai, please do the right thing and respond to your customers. To keep my money and not provide what is promised is unethical, plain and simple.

I decided to try this place since my normal Thai places dont have dine in seating yet. First thing I noticed was that it was very clean and a nice seating area. It looked like there were higher chairs by the man making Sushi so you could watch Im assuming. Second thing I noticed was that the seating wasnt large people friendly. Im a very large woman and the seats have arms and when I sat down it crushed me and was very uncomfortable. I moved to a booth and those also were small. And unfortunately the table couldnt move as it was hooked on the wall. So I squeezed in and thank goodness I fit but not much room at all so not comfortable for the most part. They have some delicious sounding things but I opted for my usual Vegetable Red curry hot. That was served with rice. I was bummed that they didnt serve shrimp chips when your seated but they did give you a little dish of fried crispy noodles and a little dish of a sweeter sauce. You couldnt get just 1 spring roll so I had to get 3. When the food came out it was a generous portion and temperature was hot. It had a good flavor my the heat was more like mild than hot. Nice size pieces of chicken and it was tender. Afterward the waitress took my leftovers and packaged them up for me which usually they just give me the containers so that was nice. I received a small roll looking fortune cookie which was small but had a good flavor. As I was walking out I noticed they had bagged up shrimp chips at the counter. I bought a couple bags to take home foe my leftovers. All and all I liked this place and will be back for at least carry out. The staff was friendly and it was very clean. The inly complaint I had was the seating issue. I big guy would have a very hard time.

Just a quick update! I've been back several times and it does. It doesn't disappoint. I have become addicted to their apple salad! Cashews, chicken, apples, coconut, onion and cabbage. SO delicious and fresh! We also tried the Golden Wings - a couple of them were a bit greasy; but the batter was good and the chicken was cooked perfectly.

This Thai restaurant has a great menu with some dishes that are difficult to find in the Detroit area. Their Yum Neau is excellent as is their Khao Soi. Khao Soi is Northern Thai noodle soup dish not found on many local menus. Definitely worth a try if you like curry. Pad Thai was excellent. So many places make this dish drowning in sauce. This was cooked perfectly.

Got eel and cucumber roll and pad Thai were both delicious. Will be going back. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't stop by this place sooner. A cute place with a great menu. I got takeout and it was delicious. I had the A7, A10, and the N7 Pad Ba-Mee. Incredible. All my favorite Thai places either closed or are too far, so I'm super excited to have a new favorite! Great prices for a ton of food. I munched and munched and munched and in the end, it looked like I hardly touched my food. I'll be eating leftovers for days. Highly recommend!

The location is a small stand alone restaurant that doesn't look like much when driving by but my sister told me she's been wanting to try this place for a while. My family eats halal, so we were able to try everything. We got the golden wings, curry puffs, pad Thai, drunken noodles, soups, chicken coconut curry...you name it. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I'm also a big fan of their mango sticky rice. The presentation is 10/10. If you're ever near the Dearborn Heights area and are in the mood for Thai food, this is it.

The service was excellent as always- warm and friendly! Food was great- Thai curry and the Bangkok chicken for entrees were both exactly what we needed and the flavors were on point! The crab Rangoon came out fresh and hot and are some of the best we have had anywhere! No pictures of the food because we ate so fast and so much! Just want we needed! Definitely will be back!

Favorite sushi place and the Pad Thai can't be beat! The only thing is the prices. I've been to other Thai restaurants that had a great menu with amazing food as well and their prices were about $3-5 cheaper per item.

BEST THAI FOOD AROUND! Food tastes fresh and is cooked to perfection. I go the drunken noodles, wonton soup, pad thai and chicken fried rice throughout numerous visits. Everytime the food has been great!

We found this restaurant close to our home. My granddaughter had eaten here and reported this was one of the best restaurant she had dined in Of course my husband and I had to try We were blown way, Restaurant is clean, server is nice and friendly service is great and the food is awesome!!! In fact we were thinking about where to go for dinner.tonight Didn't take long For us to make up our minds. Sukho Thai here we come!

What a wonderful restaurant! We ordered multiple small items (fried tofu, fresh rolls, vegetable sushi, inari, ginger salad, miso soup, and red curried vegetables) and 100% of everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every aspect of our meal and will absolutely be back.

After going there 3 times and trying different dishes, i have to say it's not a place i will return to often. The flavors don't seem right. The pad thai was the only dish that was similar to other restaurants and satisfied the craving. However, the curry based chicken dish and the sesame chicken weren't something I enjoyed. The best thing i had there is the fried wontons and the crispy chicken rolls both 10/10.

This place is easily my favorite Thai spot in the metro Detroit area. I have three main dishes I judge Thai spots on. Pad Thai, Penang Curry, and drunken noodles (otherwise known as pad kee mao). I have been blown away by their food. It's also halal which isn't something I care about, but is something that makes them standout. Absolutely give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

Loved this place for pick-up, would always get the Pad Thai Curry and Pad Se Ew. Got the "Sexy Roll" a few times but the last time I got a surprise of two hairs hidden under my roll! Probably will never dine here again.

I wanted to try this new place out and was very hopeful. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I had hoped. I ordered from the sushi menu and the dinner menu. The sushi was probably the worst sushi I have ever had. The rice tasted like regular stale rice not sushi rice. The portion size was sooo tiny and yet so expensive. I would be every surprised if this place stays open in the future. The pad tai was actually good but again small portions and maybe 3 pieces of shrimp. The sesame chicken was not even EBT for one person yet it was $15 a plate. That also wasn't good. I spent over $120 on food that wasn't good and was the smallest portion sizes. It's safe to say I will probably not be a returning customer. I know many ppl that have been wanting to try this place out but after my experience they won't be anymore

Really really good, would highly recommend. I ordered on UberEats and got their beef stew noodle soup and some sushi. The noodles were very good not over cooked or undercooked just perfect, and the beef was sooooo tender. The broth was a tad bit salty but still delicious and full of flavor. Their sushi was fresh and delish. This is my new fav go to Thai restaurant. And it's halal as well (major plus) !!!!

What a pleasant surprise of a restaurant! Dearborn has such a wide selection of to-die-for Arabic food, but amidst all of that is this gem. The menu is so wide with delicious options. I had the pad Thai, sushi, and green curry all of which had a tasty and authentic taste. The serving staff were incredibly nice and prompt despite it being super busy. I love the family restaurant feel. The food display was unique as well, with unique rice serving bowls. The best part is the generous amount of food in their to-go portion, more than any other Thai restaurant I've had. I will happily be a regular customer and wish them all the success for years to come!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I Called The Resturant Three Times At 8:15PM To Place A Carry Out Order & They Wouldn't Pick Up The Phone.. So Since Its Rather Close To Me I Decided To Drive Up There Because The Ringer Might Be Off Or Something.. They Tell Me "Oh, We Aren't Taking Anymore Orders Tonight Sorry, We Are Too Busy. We Are Short Staffed & We Can't Answer The Phones Either" The Sign Says You Close At 9PM, THEN YOU CLOSE AT 9PM.. You Are To Busy Is An Excuse!

Pad Thai is spot on excellent! I've also found it tough to find good spring rolls near me, but Sukho Thai had the best spring rolls I've found! Very fresh, not too greasy, perfect seasoning, the right amount of ginger, and they didn't have that old oil flavor!! I will be back!!

Haven't tried Sukho since they opened up, so I decided to order some takeout. I got Chicken Pad Thai with Hot spice level. Everything tasted fresh, and the employees were very welcoming. I have a feeling I'll be coming back here a lot to try their wide array of dishes!
