Had a great experience at Sukiya Ramen 🍜 The Spicy Tonkatsu was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying—exactly the kind of comfort bowl you crave. Portions were generous, and the presentation was beautifully done. The curry was also really good—comforting and full of flavor. I personally would’ve loved the broth a bit thicker, but it was still enjoyable and well balanced. What really stood out was the awesome staff—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making the whole dining experience even better. Overall, great food, great service, and a place that feels good to be in. Definitely worth coming back to. 👌🍜✨

The restaurant was a little crowded and we ended up having to share our table with another party. But it wasn't awful, everyone was respectful. The food was pretty good although the toppings were not as abundant as some of the other ramen shops I've visited... the order came out accurate and definitely hit the spot. The staff was very friendly.

Google
All of the 5 start reviews must be from people who’ve never had authentic or good ramen. This place was bland at best. The gyoza was ok but they gave me a tiny amount of sauce for dipping and the “spicy” tonkatsu was also bland. The pork was decent but I’ll stick with my normal place Wanna Poke & Ramen. Sadly they were closed today and I thought I’d try something else, not realizing this was a chain. The place smelled absolutely awful when I walked in, like a lot of sewer gas and dirty drains. Also soy-brined eggs taste way better in ramen than soft-boiled; if the shop is making/using soy-brined eggs for the ramen it’s usually legit.

Both miso and hokkaido broths were flavorful. Handful of sprouts, 2 pieces of bok choy and 2 pieces of meat topped with half an egg, nori, and pickled ginger were served inside each bowl of Ramen. Miso broth was mild and light whereas the hokkaido one was more creamier. Takoyaki was surprisingly very yummy. We had just come back from Osaka, Japan and Osaka is known for Takoyaki. This place was comparable to what we had in Osaka. Outside was crispy and inside was gooey, just like how its supposed to be. Inside were big pieces of tako. Very very satisfied with the dinner! We will be back :)

Good ramen at a nice value. Several different varieties including Hakata and Sapporo, priced around $17. Gyoza are great too! Service is efficient and friendly, casual atmosphere.

For the last two years me and my bf would go here a lot when we lived close by after moving we decided to go back for the first time year and was extremely disappointed in the quality of food. My goto was always the tsukemen. It USED to be flavorful HOT and juicy. Now the noodles downgraded it felt like I was eating maruchan ramen…. The noodles used to be thicker (HENCE ORDERING THE TSUKEMEN) . The chashu/pork in the broth used to be fatty and flavorful and easy to chew. This time it was dry and hard to chew. Also it was served lukewarm when it’s suppose to be hot so you can DIP your noodles into them. The service was always good. I am just disappointed because this used to be the only place that was up to par with Japan and now NO LONGER IS. It’s a shame because me and my bf would always recc this ramen place to our friends and now we will be WARNING them not to come here. We visit Japan often and my BF is Japanese. TLDR; For reference if you want mid overpriced ramen then go here. This place used to be special but now is generic because they changed chefs and food quality went EXTREMELY down . The pic on left shows what we got and the one on the right is what we thought we were getting (noodles thicker etc)

Google
Amazing vegetarian options, we got the veggie miso ramen, seaweed salad, veggie gyoza, edamame and veggie shoyu. We try to come to this place every time we visit Denver. You’ll have to wait during peak dinner/lunch time but totally worth the wait.

Google
Love this place. Have been coming here for about 8years now and have never left disappointed. There is a reason they are expanding to multiple locations!!! Highly recommend the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen but in general you can’t got wrong, it’s all good. In the evening get here early or be prepared to wait.

Yelp
The ramen was quick and absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the edamame as an appetizer. The staff was attentive and kind.

Yelp
Loved this little easy lunch spot in Greenwood Village! The service is quick, and my waiter was really sweet. I had the Tonkotsu, which was delicious, and it was very hearty - I had to take some to go after. For less than $20, great price. And there's a big parking lot, so that's never a fear here.

Yelp
After reading the highly recommended Yelp reviews we decided to go check out sukiyaki ramen after a long day of hiking. It was our first time here and we came during dinner rush. There was a 30 min wait because all of the tables were seated. It's a small establishment and there's limited tables. Once we were seated, we knew based on the demeanor of the waitress that we were going to have a bad service. First off the waitress was annoyed we ask questions about the menu and wasn't ready to decide what we wanted. I had ask what was the spice level on the spicy ramen and she couldn't really answer it to give us a clear answer. She didn't look happy and told us we will get our drinks. Well she disappear for 15-20 mins as we sat there waiting ready to order. She would walk pass us but didn't make any eye contact when we looked at here. Yet she was attentive to the table next to us. When she finally came back, she still didn't bring us our drinks and ask what we wanted. Then we placed our ordered and she makes a comment... that's a lot of food and looked at us with judgement eyes. I seriously do not understand why restaurant staff make comments to shame paying customers for ordering more than one dish. Simply to put it's unprofessional and rude. It's strange to me that a restaurant business does not want more money. SMH ‍ if we chose to over order it's because we want leftovers for tomorrow! Why is that a problem? It's not like we wasted the food and left it there. We asked for to go boxes to pack the left overs after. This is what we ordered: * Spicy Tonkotsu: 4/5 creamy and the pork was good. Egg was cooked perfectly. Ramen was bouncy and yummy. I love that rhe chef accommodated and gave the spicy sauce to the side so I can add and control my own spicy level. * Chasu buns: 1/5 pork was dry and bland. * 2 salmon poke bowl - 5/5 fresh light and delicious. The salmon was yummy and not fishy. This bowl was a great! Do I recommend this place? Yes for the food but the service of that waitress no. There was another waitress that flagged because our waitress disappeared and we needed to go boxes and the check. We waited for a while after eating but our waitress wouldn't acknowledge us. She must of heard our remarks about her rude service & the strangeness of a restaurant not wanting customers to order to make more revenue. The other waitress was like night and day. She was cheery and smiling. Super welcoming and kind. I think if we had her we would have had a completely different diner experience. Food 4/5. I The star deducts is based on service and the fat shaming. I would have ranked 1/5 stars but the other waitress helped raised it another star. 2/5.

Yelp
We stopped by Sukiya Ramen because we were craving a soupy noodle after eating heavy American food earlier in the day. It definitely fulfills a craving but isn't anything to write home about since we're from California and have an abundance of ramen shops. It's a much lighter broth than I'd expect but was perfect for what we were feeling. Service is fast and not too bad. It is a small shop but the crowd was just right where nobody had to wait.

Yelp
One of my favorite ramen places in town. Must authentic, no frills ramen shop. Very low light ambiance with consistent service. Whenever I want ramen, this is where I go.

Yelp
Service was great! Ramen was great! The broth and noodles were bomb AF. Highly recommend! I got the spicy tonkotsu.

Yelp
Another comforting meal at Sukiya! Got the spicy pork tonkotsu & chasu buns and it was great as usual. This time around, we tried the pork gyoza and that was surprisingly flavorful. Service has always been good. This place is always busy but totally worth it.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place and very glad we did! The ambiance is very chill and casual and the decor sets the vibe. We were seated immediately and started off with an order of delicious gyoza. For mains, we had the kimchi ramen and teriyaki chicken, both were absolutely outstanding. Also, don't forget to add some mochi for dessert!!

Yelp
Our family absolutely loves this ramen spot in the Denver Tech Center, and even after spending a month in Tokyo, I still rank it pretty high! The Godzilla Ramen is the standout dish--it's a must-try. The flavors are bold and comforting, making it my go-to order every time. Now - for non Godzilla dishes my kids are huge fans, and it's become a regular spot for us to enjoy together. Great ramen, family-friendly, and a favorite we keep coming back to! It makes me miss Tokyo

Yelp
Food was great. Quick service. Easy to make adaptations to meals. Only wish they had kids cups for the small goodies because the glasses are scary.

Yelp
Sukiya Ramen has a great variety of ramen and other rice dishes. The restaurant is located in a busy strip mall right by Pindustry, so on a weekend parking can be tough. The restaurant is very intimate and has fairly limited seating on a busy weekend, however they do alot of take out business (what we do most often). They offer ramen from different parts of Japan and you can also make your own Ramen. I also really enjoy the terriyaki and rice dishes, or you can even get a poke bowl. Great little restaurant.

Yelp
Great service, quick food prep. The place was quite so i was able to work. The quality of the pork was great with not too much fat. The buk chuy was delicious too.

Yelp
Was craving ramen and saw this place so I decided to give it a shot. It's your typical Japanese restaurant as far as the interior. Service was good but when I asked if they have Diet Coke, the server said "yes" and gave me Diet Pepsi. I ordered the gyoza and spicy tonkotsu. I asked if the spicy tonkotsu was very spicy and the waitress said "no" The gyoza was average. The spicy tonkotsu was a little more spicy than I wanted. It had a good flavor. The pork belly was cooked well. I would comeback again to try it one more time. Overall it's a fair value for food to dollar.

Yelp
I've tried a lot of Pho places in Colorado and these guy are by far one of my favorites! Their broth is very good, their choice of protein is good and prepared well, and if you have friends who are not a fan of Pho, they have other stuff on the menu that is also delicious! My friend loves their teriyaki. The service has always been very professional and fast there for me whether I'm dining in or taking out. I've never encountered any problems with their staff. I love the old school music they play! For someone in their mid 30s, it's always a trip down memory lane when I dine in haha! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Yelp
my new favorite Ramen place! I've been here two times now and I love the atmosphere, the food is amazing I especially love the chicken buns! the service is always really nice!

Yelp
My daughter wanted the whole family to have dinner at Sukiya Ramen so off we went. We had the Littles with us so we went early - 5pm - and it's a good thing we did. By 5:30 there was a long wait. The restaurant is fairly small but they have a large variety of items on their menu. After giving our orders a few of us went next door to get dessert for later. That took almost a half hour and when we got back we still didn't have food. My daughter said someone came by again to get the order but she told them we'd already placed it. I was worried - but needlessly. Our food finally came out after another 15 minutes and everything was correct. The staff was nice and I'm sure the hold up was in the kitchen. The food was good and I do recommend them - but go early!

Yelp
This place really hit the spot. I ordered the Poke Bowl, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The veggie gyoza was delicious. ALL the meals at our table were fantastic. Service was great, table was a little too close to the kitchen for the server to be moving around, but that was the only negative we had. Come check this place out! Worth the stop. Worth the money!
google avatar

Alec G.

Yelp
Had to go in on a cold snowy day and the spicy tonkotsu hit the spot. Service was great as always. Gyoza was a perfect way to start off the meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious ramen & reasonable price! Vegi shoyu - I asked for it to be made spicy and subbed for kale noodles. I could've gone more spicy but enjoyed it nonetheless!

Yelp
Updated review: Sukiya Ramen still is crowned the best ramen in Denver IMO! Consistent, bouncy noodles, tasty broth, hot and comforting. Love this place always.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
One of the best ramen you're going to find in Denver. I tried most of their ramens and about half of their non-ramen items. I am happy to report that the Godzilla ramen is properly spicy. The tonkatsu ramen is quite heavy and rich, which is extra comforting when it's cold out. The shoyu is a much lighter option that is equally as tasty for me. Noodles are cooked well, the meat is perfectly prepared, the garnishes meet expectations, and I usually finish the broth. The non-ramen items are alright, but nothing to write home about. I just stick to ramen when I come here now days. There isn't a ton of seating available inside. Maybe I'm lucky, but I always seem to be able to get a table and it always seems to be the last table available. Decoration is appropriately japanese themed. The staff do an excellent job here, but sometimes it's slow service when they are super busy. Slow, but tolerable, for me.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing ramen, and the gyoza is good too. Really reminds me of Japan. The service has been great every time I'm there too.

Yelp
I have been here many times in the past but today was awful. I even emailed them about my experience, and no one responded. I think this place got too comfortable, and they have enough foot traffic to care to respond to their customers. We ordered the chasu buns to start. They were OK, but lacked condiments and veggies. Ramen was borderline not edible. The Hakata Tonkotsu Chasu pork was hard and tasted like a piece of rubber, and had black char on the outside, all I could taste was char. It was so hard that it was impossible to eat. I had to take it out of my bowl and ask the waitress for a knife. I told her it's hard as a rock, she did not seem to care and gave me a knife. The bok choy and bamboo was also undercooked and chewy. Noodles however were overcooked and the broth was super salty. I don't know what happened there tonight, but this quality of food is not acceptable. Service was also slow and it was not even busy! Will I come here again? It was pretty bad tonight and there are a ton of other ramen places around. Also, management doesn't seem to care to answer inquiries and respond to customers, which says a lot!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
We stopped in apres skiing and nothing could have hit the spot better! The options are so varied that no one can be disappointed! It is a key pretty small seating area but don't feel crowded, and you can have food delivered or set for pickup! So yummy, I'm craving it still!!
google avatar

Tatiana G.

Yelp
Well, I found my new favorite ramen spot. As a vegan, sometimes vegetarian, I find that vegetarian ramen is often mediocre. It's typically a salty and creamy broth, tons of noodles, and 2-3 varieties of sparse veggies (mushrooms, bok choy, and maybe tofu). It gets boring quickly. I had the Kale Vegi Ramen and it was delightful and delicious! Loved the clear broth, kale noodles, and TONS of veggies! Broccoli, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, carrots, corn, ginger, green onion, bok choy. Lots of soft tofu (not fried, thank goodness) and a delicious hard boiled and marinated egg. Each bite was different and amazing. I very much enjoyed my food experience. I came around 2:30 PM on a Tuesday and the venue was empty and service was fast and attentive. Definitely recommend trying it out during a less busy hour.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Really tasty and fresh ramen. We got the Godzilla Ramen and Spicy Chasu Miso with chicken and pork Gyoza. The Godzilla was actually pretty spicy but not too spicy and had me going for every last drop. The Chasu had a clear difference in flavor and was just as good as the Godzilla but not as spicy. Friendly service that waits your table and brings out your food promptly, and all at a price that is really reasonable. I do think however that they can improve their ambience. There were quite a few people in there and it was quiet like a library, there could have been a little bit of background music playing to make it a little less awkward. Also I was sort of indifferent about the Gyoza. It came out with a lot of crisps on the outside (see picture), which made it more difficult than it should have been to each. The Gyoza also had this very thick and sweet sauce on it which I didn't care for. The ramen is the main attraction here which makes sense and is worth coming in to try. I look forward to coming back to try some of their other flavors.

Lagarto A.

Yelp
Delicious, efficient, clean, friendly service! Always visit here when in the area. Ramen is excellent in addition to the entire menu!

Yelp
Firreeee. Love the ramen at this place. I always go with the spicy tonkatsu. It is a little expensive considering they charge you $3 extra for an extra egg or tofu or anything. But excited to come back and try other items on the menu

Lakshmi H.

Yelp
I have had Sukiya Ramen on my radar as a place I wanted to try, for a while. The people who work there are very friendly, attentive and helpful. I wanted a vegan ramen, so I ordered the miso vegetarian ramen, without egg and buttered corn. I was anticipating being much more impressed than I was. The broth was nothing special, and the tofu appeared, and tasted, as though it had been sprinkled with seasoning salt. The overall effect was, disappointingly, just "meh." If it weren't for the fact that the restaurant is shown as being vegan friendly, I would not have written a review. It appears that meat eaters have a more favorable opinion.

Yelp
We were excited to try this ramen place and used Yelp to get on the waitlist before arriving expecting the restaurant to be full. The restaurant with 10 tables was full. We were seated in an 8-top table and another couple was seated on the other side of us in the same table community table style. The restaurant was staffed with only 3 employees and so it was understandable that the service was slow. The restaurant was styled in a semi-modern and traditional style with wooden tables and chairs and some modern lighting mixed with some older lighting. We arrived at our waitlist time and there was a line out the door. The three parties in line in front of us were seated immediately. They don't appear to use the waitlist system at all and never even took us off of it after we were seated. It took about 10 minutes to get seated. Then, we weren't greated and served water 10 minutes after we were seated. We ordered quickly as we had plenty of time while we waited to select our meals. It took another 20 minutes to get our meals, which honestly wasn't too long in my opinion. The food was fantastic. I had the Beef Yaki Guy Udon which comes with a small bowl of miso soup with medium sized chunks of tofu. It was rich and tasty. We also ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, the Tuna Poke and spicy kimchi Ramen. All in all, the food was the star of the show. If they just tweaked the wait system a bit and kept us in the loop, this place would be an easy 5 stars!

Yelp
Modern clean Japanese ramen restaurant vibe and great service. I am not a huge fan of Japanese ramen but this is one of a very few of my favorite ramen restaurants. I like their spicy ramen as it's very flavorful. We also tried chashudon and spicy teriyaki chicken bowl. It was very good! Defenitely will go back during cold season for ramen and recommend donburi or poke if it's hot or if you want rice.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
This is my personal favorite ramen shop. They have an udon dish, yaki gyu udon, that I really love. The beef is always so good and I love the addition of mayo and pickled onions on top. Something I truly appreciate about this restaurant though is that they have DIY ramen. My son prefers udon noodles and wants no vegetables, so he is able to check the box on which broth he wants, udon noodles, and if he's in the mood some protein. It's great to be able to customize to his picky tastes. My other kids also love it, and my hubby too. The two locations I've been to have a nice feel to them, we generally go to the park meadows location. Service is fine. I keep forgetting to take pictures.

Yelp
This ramen was super tasty and the server was so nice The wait was a tad but long but was really packed with lots of people . I would have loved to try more but the ramen was definitely something that you want to try the next time you go - they have a build your own bowl , love it !

Yelp
HOLD UPPPPP!! First of all if you have ever heard of this place, or just seeing it in passing on Yelp, or any social media platform, YOU NEED TO STOP HERE! Sometimes they're busy and may not have a table, but Yelp has access to the wait times and you can book a reservation before you even get there to ensure you get a table! The restaurant is small, and homey. They close in between lunch and dinner, and I feel like workers come in hours before opening to prep everything. Our appetizers and main course came out super quick and everything was absolutely amazing! I will DEFINITELY be coming back here and recommending this extremely lovely and AUTHENTIC ramen place to everyone I know.
google avatar

Mher G.

Yelp
Joined the waitlist via yelp, drove there, waited 20 minutes just to be told they don't use yelp waitlist.
google avatar

Yelp
First off, it is always a delete to find a place that will accommodate a food allergy. Sukiya Ramen offers gluten free noodles. Sadly, there is only one dish that can be made gluten free so don't get your hopes up on variety. The waiter was super knowledgeable and accommodating about my allergy and made sure to boil my noodles in their own pot. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. Even though I only had one option and had to make several substitutions for it to be gluten free, it was delicious and I would absolutely go back.

Yelp
My mom and I wanted to try a new ramen place here in Denver and weren't disappointed! Both had ramen and was very good! Lots of flavor and the veggie gyozas were great! Our waitress did a great job taking our order and checking up on us during our meal. Will definitely come again!

Yelp
I stumbled across this ramen spot after a trip to IKEA. Since then it's been my go-to ramen spot in Denver (and I don't live that close to it). We try to get there as close to 11:30a as possible as seating is pretty limited. What I usually swallow: CHASU BUNS: Soft, fluffy, addicting, delicious. Two come in an order so there may be a good chance you'll have to order your own. SAPPORO MISO: So good. My mouth is watering just typing this. Sometimes I get extra chasu, sometimes I get an extra egg... this is the one tho. SESAME BALLS: Happy, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside perfection. Good place. Great ramen. I don't recommend so you don't take the seats (just kidding). Go and get ramen happy, better yet, take it to go and enjoy slurp it up at home. You're welcome.
google avatar

Yelp
DELICIOUS! This is the best ramen I've had in a few years since moving to CO. The Tonkotsu broth is rich has such great flavor. Husband had the curry broth -- also delicious. Also had the pork buns and they were so good too! Love this place. So if you have a hankering for good ramen, do yourself right and go to Sukiya.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
The entire experience was extremely mechanical. I would've rather grabbed a ticket like any other izakaya in Japan and waited at the counter for my bowl. Except this place doesn't have a counter to sit at, only tables. I ordered a Tokyo shoyu ramen and my broth was lukewarm. The taste was there as well as two slices of tamaboko and other staple toppings. I just couldn't get past the broth for some reason like the bowl was sitting there for quite some time. The takoyaki was undercooked on the inside but was ok. The chasu buns were probably the best thing. If we had left right after that I would've been a happy camper. Being next to Pindustry doesn't help the parking situation either so if you're hangry or hungry this place isn't for you. If you want an introduction as a Westerner for ramen this is the place for you. Don't expect anything to be good or great, just an ok experience. Otherwise I would recommend driving the distance and go to Domo for an authentic experience with chefs that care greatly about the food and atmosphere. I doubt a return trip will be in the future.

Yelp
I was expecting more and Sukiya left me wanting more.... A lot more. I felt like they were more focused on turning tables vs quality of food and service. Servers were nice enough but it was understaffed, totally understandable in the time of Covid. Really the temperature of the food and how fast it came out was the disappointment of the night. "Food came out too soon? That's a complaint?" For me, yes. I would rather my ramen be piping hot than lukewarm and have some more dimension flavor wise. When I've had better ramen in Kalispell MT then metro Denver, that's saying something. Usually I'm slurping my ramen until the last drop but I stopped a few bites short and even though I was full, I wasn't satisfied. Maybe it's more catering to the lunch crowd since it's in GV? Who knows. Bonus points for servers wearing masks, the kitchen staff? Not so much and we could see them eating on the line when they worked so that was a bit unappetizing as well.
google avatar

Yelp
This ramen shop has so much variety and accommodates different diets. It was very easy to order online for takeout through their website and the food was available right at the time they noted. The shop is in a plaza so parking can be found in the large lot. My friend and I loved that they make vegetable broth versions of their miso and shoyu broths. If you aren't eating pork or need a vegetarian option, there's something here for you. They also have gluten free noodles and kelp noodles! The gluten free noodles are white, thicker, and chewier in texture, but normal for a gluten free option. I'm just so glad they have the option at a ramen shop! I built my own ramen bowl and loved all the different fix-ins you can get. The veggie miso broth was flavorful. There were so many other dishes and special ramens that looked interesting! I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Yelp
The ramen came out piping hot which is always good, but did not have all the vegetables listed in the menu. The entire table was vegetarian so everyone ordered the Vegi Miso. The broth was tasty, not very spicy and adding the "spicy sauce" from the menu didn't do much so we ended up adding chili flakes and sriracha on top. Also, half the table got corn while others didn't. One person didn't get any broccoli. One bowl didn't have any bok choy. Seems like that should've been monitored before the ramen came out.

Yelp
Went here last night in the extreme cold : it was excellent. All of the yelp pictures exactly match what we had : tongkatsu, seafood soup and Yakisoba. Would give 5 stars, but still think $17 for ramen should have a little more bulk to it but I might be alone. For instance, half of a hardboiled egg was really good, but 2 halves would be nice :-) Will definitely return.

Yelp
Big fan and might have found my new go-to ramen place! Did take out on a Sunday evening and everything was super easy and quick. Good online ordering and ready within 20 minutes. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Great first impression team! The ramen had a delicious broth and good ingredients with it. Portions weren't the largest, but overall really good ramen and absolutely will be back to try different things! Very easy to get to off Arapahoe Road and good sized parking lot.

Yelp
Solid. It was insanely busy. We were lucky to get a table. One bad ass waitress (at the time) and she was amazing! Most importantly, the food did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. My one teenager is fairly picky and there was nothing left in the bowl. So good.
