I had sukiyaki here and it was fantastic. I didn’t even choose the highest-grade beef set, but the flavor was already rich and satisfying. The beef was tender, beautifully marbled, and cooked to just the right level. The texture and taste were absolutely spot on. The service was amazing as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. They even offered to help us take photos and made sure everything felt perfect throughout the meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and all the ladies working here were so lovely and full of good energy. 😍

We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The wagyu beef was on another level, melt-in-your-mouth, rich, and full of flavor. Everything was also outstanding, and the shabu-shabu was prepared perfectly. The service was truly exceptional. Everyone was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even more special. A big shoutout to Syu, who was not only an amazing cook but also made the meal fun, interactive, and memorable. If you’re looking for a delicious dinner with top-quality ingredients and fantastic hospitality, this place is a must. Highly recommend!

We tried their wagyu cube + shabu shabu course meal. The meal started off with sashimi as appetizers, followed by wagyu in dashi broth. We then enjoyed 4 wagyu cubes per person which our server cooked for us. The melt in your mouth goodness made room for no doubt of the quality of the meat. The size of the cube was a good amount, too. Afterwards, the server taught us how to expertly cook the meat for shabu shabu. We were given a ponzu-based sauce and a sesame based dip. My brothers liked the sesame one better, but I just alternated dipping my meats to both. Their yuzu sherbet was a refreshing end to the meal. Price was a bit steep, perhaps driven by a mix of the goodness of their location. Servers were friendly and can speak decent English. They’ll explain everything to you and they’re approachable if you have questions. I only lessened one star because it took a bit of time to serve the shabu shabu after the wagyu cubes. If you don’t mind to splurge a bit, I think you should give this place a try.

Booked this restaurant online before our visit to Kyoto and it was one of the best meals we had. We got the Arashiyama course which was a good amount of food. Everything tasted really really delicious. We were actually a bit late because of the bus but they were so kind and understanding. The staff were very friendly and tried to speak to us and make conversation throughout the meal. We had seats right in front of the kitchen so we had a view to the preparations which was also nice. Overall a great meal and I would definitely come back again.

We loved the wonderful service we received here. Every dish was cooked and served with such warmth and care. The sukiyaki had that familiar sweetness we expected, and the broth was perfect for simmering those tender slices of wagyu beef. The tofu with ponzu sauce was light and refreshing, and the drinks came in satisfyingly large glasses. One of the highlights was pouring in the beaten egg at the end, creating a silky, comforting little eggy soup to finish the meal.

A genuinely exceptional experience. Booked last minute for the following night upon seeing the reviews, and I’m so glad I did. Exceptional service from a young team of skilled chefs, expertly preparing everything for us. They came and spoke to us throughout, giving a number of recommendations across Japan for us too. Every course brought an extra depth to the experience, and my only regret was finishing the rice on course 3 without realising there was a 4th! Yet, I was still offered more rice. Lovely experience on my last night here in Kyoto.

Good Sukiyaki, though to my taste it was too sweet. The service is very entertaining and I would prefer some calming and less intrusive atmosphere. The employees really try to entertain you and talk to you all the time. I bet some might love it but I felt under pressure. Some might love it though if they like some show during the dinner. That was also the most expensive dinner we had in Kyoto and I would not come here again as there are better options in Kyoto in my opinion.

Our dinner wasn't only about the food itself but also the experience. 1 staff will take care of you, from introducing the ingredients to cooking with the stove in front of you and serving the food. 1 course per person, it includes the appetizer (sashimi), 1 slide of beef on tofu cooked in clear broth, then 4 pieces of beef grilled in caramelized sugar pan (which was the star of the whole meal) then 2 slide of beef in the hotpot (yeah, literally very sweet with that caramelized sugar and some soy sauce) then tea & yuzu ice cream. Tbh, I love everything but the ending hotpot which was way too sweet for me, water spinach, mushroom taste like candies. Staff are very nice, totally the Japanese customer service that ppl expect. Please note that their POS may not take your foreign credit cards like ours, my husband had to run to the convenience store to grab cash instead.
