We recently visited the new Sukoshi Beauty shop on the UES. Overall, we were excited by what we saw but there is room for improvement. The store is beautifully designed and it feels inviting. There is a variety of Korean and Japanese beauty products across all categories-skincare, makeup, hair care, tools and more. However, the main issues is that there's minimal signage or descriptions explaining the products or guiding you. For a store with many unfamiliar brands, having info is crucial. Almost nothing had visible prices, making it confusing to know how much anything cost before asking staff. Unfortunately, the staff seemed disinterested which made the experience less enjoyable. With a few simple fixes-clear labeling, better product information, and a more approachable staff, it could easily become a favorite destination in the city.
