Somi Somi Brings Ice Cream Stuffed Taiyaki to Katy Grand | Eater Houston

"I noticed Sul Bing Su opened nearby at Katy Asian Town in August and is part of the growing group of Houston-area sweet shops serving taiyaki." - Alaena Hostetter

My homegirl and I stopped by Sul Bing Su in Bellaire on a chill afternoon, and honestly, it turned into the sweetest part of our day literally. We’d been craving something cold and fun, and this spot definitely delivered. The shop has such a cute, cozy vibe and bright, clean, and perfect for catching up with a friend. The staff greeted us right away and were super friendly and patient while we decided what to get. We ended up ordering the strawberry bingsu with Oreo toppings, and it was everything. The presentation was beautiful, a big fluffy mountain of shaved ice topped with fresh strawberries, drizzled with condensed milk, and sprinkled with crushed Oreos. When we took that first bite, we both just looked at each other like, “Oh yeah, this is it.” The texture was so light and creamy. It literally melted in your mouth. The mix of sweet strawberries with the crunchy Oreos and the soft, milky ice was the perfect combo, not too sweet, just right. We sat there for a while chatting and enjoying every bite, and the staff didn’t rush us at all. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and everything felt super fresh and made with care. If you’re in Bellaire and want a cute dessert spot to cool off or hang out with friends, Sul Bing Su is the move. Their bingsu is top tier , very flavorful, refreshing, and picture-perfect. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavors next time! 💕🍓🍧

I absolutely love their food — I think we’ve probably tried everything on the menu! They have the most unique and interesting ice cream that both my kids and I enjoy. The mango was super fresh and delicious! And the corndogs — wow! The cheese inside was amazing and so stretchy!

Google
It wasn’t bad at all We try black sesame red beans shave, ice with almond and Moochie $14 a bowl, a bit on the pricey side but I understand because of the location It was Saturday night full house it was very crowded But the desert came out pretty fast

I visited this vibrant spot on a bustling Saturday with my friend, and let me tell you, it was electric! Despite the weekend crowd, the energy only added to the experience. We decided to indulge in a large order of Bing Su, topped with luscious fresh mango and juicy strawberries that were simply irresistible. We grabbed two classic hotdogs to complement our sweet treat, perfectly satisfying our savory cravings. If you're in the area and extended for Bing Su, this place is a must-visit! The combination of flavors and the lively atmosphere made our outing unforgettable!

Google
If I could, I’d give him a 4.5 Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was still a busy Korean dessert shop. They also serve fried hotdogs, ice cream, bingsu and ttekboki. The location here was busy that the tabletops were a little sticky b/c the employees didn’t get a chance to clean them before people needed to sit down. This lost them half a star in my rating (however since I can only do full stars I rounded up). Although there was about eight people ahead of us we were able to order pretty quickly. then we had to wait for our desserts for about 4 to 6 minutes but nothing that was too excessive. I’d rather one at fresh and freezing versus Having it already pre-melted because they prepared it ahead of time. It should be noted. This is a solo bathroom so there might be a wait since there’s only one. To be a little bit, tough in this neighborhood cause it shares it with a bunch of other retail stores that are pretty popular in this part of Chinatown right off of Bel Air Blvd. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Google
We spent the day in Chinatown and Sul Bing Su was at last stop on our agenda. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and inviting. We arrived before a big rush and was able to ask questions about the menu which the employees were happy to answer and explain what was what. We ended up ordering a mochi donut, milk ice cream, mango bing su, Oreo bing su, fruit kabob and two Korean donuts! Everything was thoroughly enjoyed by my family of 5. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Google
I recently visited Sul Bing Su, and I’m excited to share my experience! It’s the first-ever shop in Houston offering tanghulu, and it was absolutely fantastic perfectly crispy, sweet, and a unique treat. Their mochi donuts were also incredible soft, chewy, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight! The ambience and atmosphere were amazing, creating a cozy and welcoming space to enjoy desserts. The service was pretty good too, with friendly staff who made sure everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a spot with unique and delicious desserts, Sul Bing Su is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!🥰

Google
This is a really neat place. They have several types of Korean desserts. The tanghulu is delicious. My favorites are the strawberry and grape. The mochinuts are also really delicious. We went again for the viral Korean donuts because we had heard so much about them.... But unfortunately I would say I was rather disappointed. They have several flavors to choose from however the taste is just not there for me. Perhaps they taste better fresh. When we went, they have them sitting in a display fridge. We dried the chocolate and the strawberry cream one. Both were ok. The breading wasn't as fluffy as I was expecting and the cream is just like a regular cool whip. They weren't worth the hype

Yelp
Solid dessert spot in Bellaire area. Lots of large seating inside and quick service. We usually order 2 large bingsoo's for 4 people. We ordered: - injeolmi bingsoo: if you like nutty and red bean flavors I highly recommend. Really like the mochi on this and not as sweet as some of the other options. Milk base. Personally my favorite flavor. - fresh strawberry bingsoo: usually on the sweeter side, they put a lot of condensed milk on this. Lot of strawberries and also a milk base. Very sweet but refreshing.

Yelp
First time visiting here after seeing how it always looks crowded. We only ordered the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu and was not too impressed with the overall experience. It looked nice, but for the price, I was hoping for a little more quality. The ice cream was vanilla flavored, and the ice itself wasn't as fluffy and smooth as shaved ice usually is. There were also some smaller ice chunks here and there which made the ice seem heavy and rough. I do appreciate the sweetness level (not too sweet) and that their ingredient to ice ratio was pretty balanced though. Parking is usually available outside or nearby, but once you walk inside, it's a little messy and dirty. I understand they have a lot of traffic especially on the weekends, but the floors were full of crumbs and lots of trash, and the tables weren't clean too. I would consider trying other things on their menu during a less busy time of the day or on a weekday in the future.

Yelp
I had this place bookmarked to try as I was wanting a K-Dog and was near the area. It's kind of tucked to the side of the building but surrounded by so many other restaurants and cafes in the Chinatown area. So one wouldn't probably notice it from the street. Good thing I had it bookmarked though! I was able to park directly infront of the door and walk in. There wasn't a long line as I looked at their menu and desserts before getting in line. So they sell the variety Korean corndogs, different types of donuts/mochinut, cream filled donuts, shaved ice like their Bing Su and more. I was excited to see that this location offered the sweet potato batter/coating and the cheddar cheese wrapped around a sausage option. Plus they have the dip station where you can get your own sauce/dip/toppings. They even had free cheese dip. While I waited on my K-Dog, I tried one of their candied grapes called Tang Hu Lu and their Yuzu (lemon) cream filled donut. That Tang Hu Lu was probably my favorite dessert!! It tasted like a cotton candy glaze over the grape that just burst into flavor when you bite. The Yuzu (lemon) cream donut was delicious and sweet too but those Tang Hu Lu grapes stole the show. For my K-Dog, I got their sweet potato half & half, which was half mozzarella cheese and half beef sausage Korean style (with sugar sprinkled on top). This is my favorite order of a of K-Dog! Their corn dog was definitely larger than some of the other companies I've tried. It was very delicious and fulfilling! I enjoyed it with and without my dip! The mozzarella cheese was pulling! This restaurant offers alot to choose from for the whole family and friends. Plenty of seating options too. The only thing they don't offer is Apple Pay/Tap to pay. So have your physical card or cash ready! Great price points too! Nonetheless, I would highly recommend checking them out for your favorite Asian/Korean food, snacks and desserts.

Yelp
Went in for shaved ice and ended up falling in love with the place! The texture was unbelievably light and fluffy -- like eating sweet clouds -- and every bite was bursting with flavor. The mango shaved ice was refreshingly bright, while the strawberry cheesecake was pure indulgence. A perfect treat and a place I'll definitely come back to!

Yelp
First time here. Came in the for Mochi donuts. Ended up getting some of the corn dogs. Got one of the hot Cheeto mozzarella, potato mozzarella, and the Volcano. Also got three of the donuts: Thai tea, churro, and strawberry. Let's start with the food. The hot Cheeto one was fantastic. I've had the frozen potato corndog before and this was just as good. The volcano was decent as well. They had about 5 different dipping sauces to go with them. The donuts were fantastic. Soft and chewy. Not too sweet. Great place to have some snacks! Oh and we also got a free Tteokbokki. Someone ordered and didn't pick up their food! It was mildly spicy but the mozzarella was perfect for this dish! Thank you to the cashier for this who was also super helpful and friendly to us first timers! Place was quiet with some music playing and a very relaxing type of atmosphere.

Yelp
I almost always end up here after dinner in the Chinatown area. No matter how stuffed I feel beforehand, I can always fit some bingsu. It's not overly sweet and perfectly airy like snow. What I like about the menu here is the variety. Not only can you get bingsu with assorted toppings, they also have the Korean corn dogs, drinks (tea, milk tea, brown sugar boba), mochi doughnuts, tanghulu, soft serve ice cream, and the viral Korean kream doughnuts. Prices are very reasonable that you can try multiple things on each visit. Although it's usually packed, the line moves fast and I've always been able to find a seat. Because it draws a younger crowd, it's pretty loud in there but they do announce order numbers over the speaker system which is very helpful. Employees are always nice and efficient.

Yelp
I really enjoyed everything we had. The Korean shaved ice and ice cream was great and definitely shareable. The biscoff was great. I really enjoyed the strawberry pastry I had, the lemon one was great too. The cream wasn't too sweet.

Yelp
Good pick for Dessert. I didn't realize there were so many options here: Korean corn dogs, mochi donuts, bing su, tang hu lu, and taiyaki. We opted for the Bing Su and Tang Hu Lu this visit and boy was it PACKED! Although the shop was packed, the line moved quickly and there was more than enough seating for the crowd. The Bing Su was delicous - not too sweet, just the way I like it. As my first time having Tang Hu Lu, I can't say that its my favorite, but its not bad either. The coating of sugar encasing the fruit isn't distributed evenly. Some parts of the sugar are thick, making chunks of sugar stick to your teeth like a jolly rancher and just way too sweet. But the other parts of the shell where the sugar encapsulates the fruit in a thin coat is perfect!! If they could nail this down, I'd order this everytime. I highly reccomend this dessert shop. There's plenty of space, quick service, good food, wide variety, and it's super casual and family-friendly. Love seeing little neighboor favourites such as this.

Yelp
I've been there a couple of times and they tend to rotate their desserts based on what current food that is happening. In this review, I will be talking about their stable, shaved ice. We got a mango strawberry shaved ice with some whipped cream on top . The shaved ice is made with something along the lines of condensed milk and cream and water. The taste impact comes from your toppings. The staff was quick but the tables need some help cleaning. They're a bit wobbly too. There's a lot of space for people to come and hang out while eating sweets. Parking is free and out front.

Yelp
I've been here many times for the Korean corn dogs. They're so tasty. Crispy on the outside with that chewy rice-flour batter. I like a half n-half, rolled in Hot Cheetos. What brought me in yesterday was the cream filled donuts that have gone viral on IG! These are absolutely awesome. I couldn't believe it. They're huge! I ordered the strawberry cream and the chocolate chip cream.

Yelp
One of my top dessert shops in Chinatown. They offer more than just sweets, they also have Korean corn dogs! My fav would be The strawberry cheesecake with EXTRA cheesecake and a side of condense milk (must need). This place is usually busy on weekend nights but they get the orders out pretty fast!
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
A popular spot for bing su and Korean hot dogs! But I came solely for the tanghulu after many failed attempts at making it at home! Decent parking but it gets busy in the area, tons of great places nearby and Hmart, so it can be hard to get parking at times. I was in and out of here. Fast service and my strawberry tanghulu disappeared in minutes. Soooo delicious!!! In my opinion, due to how sweet they are, one order is plenty!! They can be a bit messy so maybe bring a wet wipe. Will be back to get bing su for suuure!
google avatar

Sean K.

Yelp
Fairly solid Korean dessert place. The seating is quite ample, and the place is bigger than you think. We ordered the tanghulu which is basically fruit covered in melted sugar. It's like eating candy! Quite delicious if you're a sweet tooth. We also got a large mango shaved ice. The mango was not ripe but it was still a treat. The shaved ice has the consistency of snow and it's definitely not "icy". Beware though - it's pretty expensive and should be shared with at least 3 people. Service was fine and the desserts came out quickly. Overall it was a good experience and we'll be back for more.

Yelp
It is good but the cheesecake needs improvement too hard for our liking, aside from that it is still a good dessert.

Yelp
One of my favorite dessert spots in Chinatown Houston! We used to frequent one back in Seattle and this location is even better. The options are plenty: mochi donuts, excellent soft serve, cream puffs, and other desserts we have yet to try. We tried a few of the mochinuts and their soft-serve and both were excellent. There are a lot more unique donut flavors here like taro, matcha, etc. that I have not seen at other locations and their Korean style hot dogs are also great. Will definitely recommend in the Bellaire area for a quick dessert or coffee!
google avatar

Karen Z.

Yelp
Absolutely best donuts I've EVER HAD!!! I love desserts, especially Asian desserts since they are not so heavy, and I can eat a lot of them at once lol. We got the strawberry cream, mango cream, and yuzu donuts. My favorite is the mango cream. It's super soft and subtle, so it's not too overwhelming and pairs so well with the softly-cakey donut. I will definitely be going back! They've got other things I'd love to try like their bingsu and korean hot dogs. The inside is big and spacious and good for groups.
google avatar

Mandisa N.

Yelp
Almost always stop by here when I am in Houston and it has never done me wrong. My friend and I opted to share a large mango and strawberry bingsu - delicious but too big; size down for just two people lol. We also tried the sweet potato corn dog which was really good! I'd never had a sweet potato one before, and I simply must keep having them in the future. Lovely place. Please go!

Yelp
A nice place to stop by if you in the mood for a nice dessert. I really like the mango cheesecake bingsu
google avatar

Sheryl M.

Yelp
I got the dalgona and mango donuts and they were filled with banana flavored cream. I am not really a fan of banana flavor but it would be nice for someone who is. The mango and dalgona are basically just toppings and the actual flavor tastes the same for all of them. They are not too sweet so they are tasty but I would share with one other person. I also got a corn dog. The sweet chili sauce was really good with it and the outside was crunchy which I liked. I needed to have something savory with my donut. Overall, it was nice as a snack.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty great desserts! Obviously the bingsu is bomb. And so are the candied fruits. Definitely stop by if you can find parking haha Cute lil place to hang out with the fam and friends.

Yelp
I love this place--seriously, it's a foodie wonderland! If you ever find yourself in Chinatown wandering around, unsure of what you're craving, let me make it easy for you: head straight here. Trust me, this spot has it all. We're talking multiple food concepts packed into one glorious location. Craving something sweet? They've got you covered with crunchy, glossy tanghulu that feels like a candy-coated dream, fluffy Korean cream-filled donuts that are borderline addictive, and perfectly chewy mochi donuts that you won't be able to stop thinking about. Need something cool? Their bingsu (Korean shaved ice) is refreshing, piled high, and just downright fun to eat. And if you're in the mood for something savory? You can't go wrong with their Korean corn dogs--crispy, gooey, and absolutely iconic. The hardest part of coming here is deciding what to get because there are just so many options. And let's not forget the service--quick, efficient, and somehow still super friendly, even when this place is packed (which, by the way, it often is). If you roll up on a weekend night, don't be surprised to see a crowd, but don't let that scare you off. The wait? Totally worth it every single time. Whether you're a dessert lover, a snack fanatic, or just someone who can't make up their mind, this place will leave you happy, full, and already planning your next visit. It's that good!

Yelp
Bing Su, ChungChun, Mochinut are located here! A little confusing at first, but honestly, it's so nice to be able to order different items in one spot. We got lucky with parking, but we did see people walking from the bigger lot since it's located in a shopping center area. When we arrived, there were quite a few people eating and hanging out. There was not a line, so we ordered quickly. Got corn dogs and mochinuts! YUM! Our mochinuts were provided to us immediately, and we got 3 (chocolate, ube and coffee). Ube was the best. We waited for maybe 5 minutes for our corndog and grabbed condiments. They have honey mustard, some chili, ketchup, and cheddar cheese. YUM! My husband loved the cheddar cheese with this corn dog. Definitely a nice little snack in the afternoon :)
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
My sister and I come here all the time when we're in the mood for a treat. It gets super packed and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit but for good reason! From their mochi donuts to their corn dogs, bing su, and now the tanghulu we've never had a bad item. I absolutely love their mochi donuts when I'm in the mood for something sweet. They recently added tanghulu to their menu and it's such a sweet treat! The only downside to this location is how bad the construction is on Bellaire, but if you're willing to sit through it I can't recommend this place enough!
google avatar

Judy P.

Yelp
Came here with a couple coworkers and the shaved ice is delicious! The place was completely packed but the orders/service were so fast! I had gotten the strawberry cheesecake which was so well-balanced. It had pieces of cheesecake, freshly sliced strawberries, condensed milk, and of course, shaved ice! The portion was huge for a small and I think that's what makes it worth it. This place also just debuted tanghulu and tteokbokki which I thought were cool! Adding those into the menu of refreshing shaved ice and yummy korean corn dogs, this restaurant is a hit! Definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Vi D.

Yelp
This place is huge! If you want to get together with a big group, there are plenty of seats. They have korean corn dogs, bingsu, mochi donuts, various drinks and sugar coated fruits as well. My most recent visit was for corn dogs! I got the ramen one and my husband got the potato one. The ramen was crunchy, which I love. I added the sweet chili sauce - so yummy! The sauce bar is self served so you can try different ones, or even combine a couple together. I've also had a corn dog hot cheetos style before, it's not too spicy. It doesn't add much crunch to it like I expected but still very good.
google avatar

Kristina K.

Yelp
I had never tried bing su before and this did not disappoint, I got the strawberry cheesecake. I do not like cheese cake but this dessert is a must get. This place is known for their bing su, however, they have other food such as mochinuts, tonghulu, Korean corn dog, and teokbokki. The corn dog was cooked nicely and was tasty. The food comes out in a timely manner and there is a lot of seating. This is a good place to come and chill with friends or to get a snack.
google avatar

Vincent L.

Yelp
Heard on TikTok and instagram the whole rave of tanghulu (melted sugar covered in fruit) and wanted to come check it out! This place was one of the few places that offered it! It was decent, fruits were cold and refreshing, the sugar was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was an interesting way to try. Would recommend a first try, but probaly wouldnt go again
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
I got the mini fruit medley shaved ice and it was yummy! The fruit tasted fresh and delicious. The shaved ice was tasty too. I got the mini size and it's perfect size for when you want a sweet treat!
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Great place for Korean shave ice! Good, refreshing, shareable, post dinner dessert! It does get busy on weekends but had no trouble finding a spot to sit and eat
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
Nice fluffy soft ice as you would expect from Bingsu. My biggest gripe is that they discontinued the Injeolmi option, which is by far my favorite flavor for this. Both the green tea and the sesame had a good amount of flavor and sweetness. And they both had red bean and Mochi. I do appreciate the extra crunch from the sliced almonds in the sesame one. The large which is around $11.50 is good to share amongst 2-3 people. There are a lot of seating as this space is also selling Korean corn dogs and Mochinut donuts. Cafeteria vibes.
google avatar

Sherwin C.

Yelp
Excellent spot to meet all your needs for snacks and sweets, even if you're not specifically looking for Bing Su. This spot is nice and spacious and can accommodate some larger groups as well with very cute looking decor. It's also not super loud so you can carry on a conversation without yelling. It's amazing how complete the selection is with everything from mochi donuts to corn dogs to tang hulu to boba tea. Everyone in our group was able to find something they liked and all agreed that each dessert was prepared well.
google avatar

Zachary N.

Yelp
Absolutely great bingsu. This is the only place that i have found that has bingsu in Houston, and they do not disappoint. The service was a little slow, but the restaurant was quite busy to be fair. There is also a great variety of savory food as well, along with the dessert that they have.

Theresa D.

Yelp
Went here to check out the hype behind the cream filled donuts. They were alright - nothing special. Been here once before for the Korean corn dogs because two hands line was insane. Also got the soft serve boba. The corn dog and soft serve was better than the donuts in my opinion. Good to try out once but don't think I'd come back.
google avatar

Jezelle J.

Yelp
I really love this place. They offer different kinds of sweets; mochi donuts, shaved ice, and soft ice cream, and they even have Korean Corn dogs. It's a nice sit-down dessert place. They also offer different kinds of flavors of shaved ice and different portions depending on your preferences. We ordered strawberry cheesecake. (it so happened that my husband accidentally spilled the first order and they were very kind to replace our order with a new one) Their service was very good! We've been here for few times, and my son loves their shaved ice and the corn dog. We really enjoyed it here and will try different flavors next time!
google avatar

Caleb C.

Yelp
Bing Su is the place to go for classic Korean dessert. We tried the sugared fruits, mochi donuts and the cream filled donuts: all were delicious and decadent. If you're in the mood for a quick snack or dessert this is the place to try!
google avatar

Patty C.

Yelp
Great place to go for snacks and dessert! I love how they have several concepts going on here at the same time. Not only do they serve bing su, but they also offer bubble tea, mochi donuts, soft serve ice cream, and Korean corn dogs! I've been here a few times, and it's always been a good time. Their featured item to order is the bing su, which is essentially shaved milk ice. Coming in three sizes, it's perfect for solo or to share. The tiny size is actually the perfect size for one person, unless you've got that extra sweet tooth. I've yet to try the corn dogs yet, but they offer a great variety. On my last visit, I was able to try the limited run obang tteok, which is called imagawayaki in Japan. It's reminiscent of a dense pancake with a filling. I chose Nutella as the filling, and my oh my was it good and melty! It was so rich and warm, with the perfect chew. I absolutely loved it! While they do provide quite a bit of seating, it fills up fast on the weekends to capacity. This is definitely a favorite after dinner dessert place.
google avatar

Tony S.

Yelp
This place is a one stop shop if you want something sweet and savory. For savory, you can get a variety of Korean corn dogs. My go-to is the half half. If you want it sweet, get it Korean style and add some sugar coating. For sweets, you can get mochi donuts, bubble tea, shaved ice and soft ice cream. I only had the mochi donuts which are solid but the shaved ice looked great! Service is quick. They give you a number and you'll get called thru the speaker. Ambiance is lively. It's always busy when we go but you can definitely find somewhere to sit.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
I love that this is a centralized spot to get bingsu, mochi donuts, and Korean corn dogs! Will have to try those other things here one day. But we ordered a large strawberry mango bingsu. For around $12 and fully satisfying three people, it was a pretty good deal! It's a milk based shaved ice, which melts very creamily, along with condensed milk, and ripe fruit. What's not to love?! I also really liked how there was another layer of toppings in the middle of the bowl, so you're not just left with ice.

Yelp
I haven't had Bing Su since I was in Korea and I found this place while I was in Houston. I decided to give it a try and first impressions were that it was very clean and a large open space to sit in. The ladies taking our order were extremely polite and the ordering process was easy. Now the Bing Su was interesting. It initially came in a cup with the fruit and sauce on top, a layer of ice, and then some syrup mixed with ice at the bottom. It was extremely hard to eat out of the cup so I asked for a bowl and poured it in. As you can see from the picture, there was only fruit on top and most of it was plain ice. The top section where the fruit was tasted great, but the syrup at the bottom was not very good and since there was so much ice, it wouldn't mix properly. I ended up just eating out the fruit and throwing the rest away. I was pretty disappointed in this Bing Su. I think if it had been made in the bowl instead, the fruits and syrups would have gotten on to more of the ice and maybe tasted better. But with the cup, you just end up with a lot of plain ice.

Yelp
Came to this location specifically for the tanghulu which was delicious! The k-dogs were tasty and filling. However my biggest complaints were the boba and price. About $50 for 3 kdogs, 2 drinks and 2 tanghulu. The boba was very hard and not tasty at all. I couldn't even finish my coffee. While there was someone readily available to take my order, it seemed very rushed. Seating area is quite large but could have used some tidying.

Yelp
Finally! A place where the shaved ice is condensed milk! The size and the quality of the bingsu are worth it for the price. Service is pretty quick. Ambiance is clean and friendly. There were a lot of young people or people on dates here. They also served Mochinut and ChungChun, so you can really get anything you want! The bing su was just the right enough of sweetness, and there was plentiful topping. I got the black seaseme and the taro one, and both are just so unqiue, that I cannot compare which one is better. Definitely will come here again.

Yelp
This was the last part of our Asiatown tour. As we walked in, the place was clearly packed, and I can definitely see why. While there was a long line, things moved smoothly and it gave us time to decide what we wanted for dessert. There are plenty delicious options here, so you can't go wrong. I ordered the taro bing su. My only sadness was that they ran out of taro soft serve, but they did sprinkle taro powder on the vanilla ice cream to make similar. The place alone was quite clean and everything was in order. Although the bing su has nuts (not a fan), I devoured every piece of it. I was amazed that it wasn't over killed with sugar. The bing su was a refreshing reward for surviving the Houston heat. You better believe I will return!

Yelp
This place is always a good snack place . I tried their new cream donuts. I was expecting something really sweet but surprisingly it wasn't the donut was airy and it wasn't too sweet which was nice. If you want a light dessert this would be a good choice!
