"Sullivan’s Public House, now open in the former space of Sullivan’s Pub, offers an Irish pub-style menu including scotch eggs, loaded potato soup, potato boxty, and curry brick chicken. They have a selection of wines and beers, including local picks, and cocktails like an espresso martini and a black velvet." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Was a great spot, had no wait and great pub food for watching sports. Casual calm environment. Ordered the appetizer sampler, and everyone enjoyed. After that, most people got burgers and thoroughly enjoyed those as well, expect a solid pub burger with a generous amount of fries.Would certainly go back here, and I’m sure the takeout will be good here as well. Chef did a great job and brought out the food for us.

My recent visit to Sullivan's Public House in Charlestown unfortunately fell far short of expectations. Our decision to try Sullivan's after finding no room next door quickly turned regrettable due to a series of disappointing interactions and service issues. The main issue began with the main bartender, a bearded individual who we believe was named Billy or Mike. Despite the presence of multiple open tables, he informed us that "the bar is at capacity," compelling half of our party to wait outside, which was both puzzling and disheartening. The situation was further exacerbated when we attempted to place a food order, only to have the same bartender outright deny our request. This refusal was not only unexpected but also contrary to the welcoming atmosphere we hoped to find. It was only after finding another staff member, a woman who was more accommodating, that we were able to order. However, the frustration didn't end there. After our order was finally accepted, the service was remarkably slow, taking an entire hour for just a serving of wings and tater tots to be served. For a pub known for its casual fare, this delay was unacceptable and significantly detracted from our experience. Reflecting on the visit, I cannot recommend Sullivan's Public House. The unwelcoming attitude from the staff, particularly the denial of our food order by the bearded bartender, coupled with the excessive wait time for basic appetizers, left a lasting negative impression. It's disappointing, as we had hoped for a much more enjoyable outing.

Was in town on vacation and after walking the Freedom Trail this was the perfect way to cap off the night. I got a couple of the local draft beers. And we shared the Sharable Sampler, and my biggest regret is not taking a picture of it. It was delicious! Particularly the cheesesteak egg rolls and the lemon pepper sauce on the wings. It wasn’t a dry rub which I’m used to and it just might have made so I can never have a dry rub lemon pepper again! So if you’re looking for some food after the Freedom Trail, definitely make the detour!

Overall great experience. The Cesar salad was delicious. I also ordered chicken tenders which were okay. Service was great, place was fairly empty but I could see it being fun.

Loved this place. Great service and atmosphere. Visiting from the UK, we happened upon the regular quiz night and decided to take part. The host and regulars were very welcoming to us and didn't mind when we almost won as well! Thanks for a great birthday evening.

Ehhhhhh, We have been there 3 times. Service either makes or breaks a place. They do not go the extra mile. They aren't very customer oriented. Kitchen staff is good. Servers and bartenders are mediocre at best. If Warrens Tavern is packed, they get the overflow. Busy by default is their only achievement. Being a successful owner of 5 businesses, I encourage the owners to reach out to me. Maybe I can help. Maybe I can't.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this pub for dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy evening, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was just right - not too noisy, allowing us to have a peaceful conversation. The pub has a decent amount of seating, considering its size. The staff were friendly, laid back, and added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, it was a no-fuss, enjoyable dining experience. We’d definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Small pub that seems to be a locals hangout (Sully's). Very friendly staff that liked a conversation. Reasonable prices. Wife and I shared a basket of french fries that came with a delicious 'Irish' curry dipping sauce. Other food we saw served looked good too. Nice spot for a couple of pints after a good walk.
