Detroit’s Best Steakhouses: Where to Eat Steaks in the Motor City | Eater Detroit

"Sullivan’s is a reliable, small chain with over a dozen locations nationwide. Grab an iceberg wedge and split a tomahawk rib-eye. You could also empty your bank account on a seafood tower, but Sullivan’s also has a damn good happy hour, with an array of items ranging from $10 to $20. They also offer $5 off select martinis. Happy Hour is offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday." - Danny Palumbo

I got the Philly cheese steak egg rolls, and a Caesar salad. The egg rolls were phenomenal and highly recommended. The salad was pretty good, and the added chicken had an excellent smokey grilled flavor. The food was so good that my colleague and I almost came back a second day, but they were booked for Mother's Day and didn't have any space available.

Google
From beginning to end, fabulous! Beth took great care of us. The menu was so great we had a hard time paring it down, and Beth had no qualms about recommending dishes. Every dish we had was fantastic! The atmosphere was elegant, and perfect for our dinner date. Thank you Sullivan's for a great night out!

Google
Let's see...beef wellington balls were ok, eggrolls were rancid (old oil taste), crab fried rice was tasteless and the salmon was dry. Service was poor, and we were overcharged- when brought to staff attention, they told us mgr will stop by and fix the issue - but didn't, so after a long wait, we decided to just payout & leave Expected better from Sullivan's...

Google
Had a nice dinner before the Detroit Tiger's game. Our server Nathan was great, friendly, and engaging. I was sad they were out of the Wagyu bone-in strip my first reason for choosing to make a reservation here. I chose the lamb chops for my alternative meal. It was cooked to the perfect temp. It was also a good walking distance to Comerica Park.

Google
Kamron was amazing and so sweet! 🥰 food was delicious, thank you for a great birthday! Free dessert as well for birthdays which was a nice surprise! 😋 had a waygu steak with blue cheese, and cheesesteak egg rolls.

Google
Kamron on our waiter was awesome!!! We ordered per his recommendations and the meal was absolutely the best. Wow! The meal looked so good, I almost forgot to take pictures.

Google
Jaquanda's service was impeccable. More than equal to the very best aged ribeye I have ever had. Even the welcome given by the hostess at 3:45pm on a Friday was equal to one of the best calamari dishes anywhere. Try the banana Old Fashioned with Angel's Envy! Not gonna find better anything anywhere than @ Sullivan's Detroit.

Google
We went to Sullivan's Steakhouse on Monday for date night. And I will say, we were impressed. We were given a semi-private booth away from the main seating area. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious. The two big standouts were lobster bisque and bread pudding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Latasha W.

Yelp
The food was good, but the service was absolutely top tier! Our server, Ashley, made the experience phenomenal, and that made the night so beautiful. Ashley made sure we knew the greatest menu tastings and the most flavorful drinks, and ensured that our dinner and experience met our standards above and beyond. We had the tomahawk and lobster tails which were fairly flavorful. The creamed spinach was pretty good! I will certainly dine her again!

Yelp
First time eating here was last night! I ordered the shrimp cocktail, lobster mashed potatoes, and lobster and shrimp bisque. Food came out perfect temp for each dish. Staff was more than accommodating. The white chocolate almond martini is DELICIOUS! I hope they have beef Wellington bites tonight! This place is very clean, and very modern! I loved the look of all the wine bottles! I walked right into the restaurant later last night, sat right down at the bar! Bartender was really nice and attentive! Place was so clean & tidy. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
We went here for my birthday and before a show - our first time at Sullivan's. Unfortunately, we were sat between a live three piece band on one side and a wedding reception on another side, so it had a tendency to get loud especially when the drums kicked in. We had standard appetizers. I had wedge salad and he had a shrimp and lobster bisque. It was quite odd to pay extra for bacon on the wedge salad. I never had to do that before. Aside from that, we ordered a NY Strip steak and the salt-crusted baked potato loaded. The steak was ok. The potato was VERY salty all around just as it says. The salt basically dried out the potato, so the loaded part couldn't be tasted. Ask for the fixings on the side so you can scrape off all the salt. There is a ton of it. They gave me a slice of cheesecake for my birthday which was nice. We arrived a bit early ahead of our reservation. We had a show to go to and the service was a bit slower than we anticipated, so we had to rush to get to our show even though it was two hours after our reservations. We waited quite a while for various items. The food was ok, not WOW great. I know this is a newer restaurant and a chain, but I think it needs to tighten up everything if it wants to be an upscale restaurant like all the others that are coming into the downtown area. There are many restaurant options in Detroit and this one may not be on our list next time.

Yelp
This was a last minute reservation and we didn't do much research on it. Location isn't bad, however they don't have agreement with hotel valet so there isn't a convenient parking option. Only street or lots for parking. Hostess was polite but very slow and a poor communicator (didn't inform our waiter we needed a high chair). They seemed to be overwhelmed despite the restaurant being pretty empty. The drinks are probably the best thing we had at this place. We had margaritas and mezcal mules, both were well presented and balanced in flavor. The food was pretty bad. Steaks were all very fatty and not cooked to desired temps. The sides we ordered were also not great - asparagus= mushy, fried rice= bland, potatoes au gratin= almost burnt. We came on a weekend and they had a jazz band playing which was a nice treat. Still wouldn't come back or recommend.

Yelp
I've always liked this location in Detroit since it was Roast. It's a well done space and the service is very good. I came in for a happy hour glass of wine and I just wasn't impressed with their selection. I tried the Pinot and the sparkling neither were good enough for a second glass. I'm quite particular so it's definitely me. Someone else may be okay with the offerings. However, if they were real good I would have stayed longer and ordered more #winesnob

Yelp
Service almost non existent- came in at 9 - no reservation but restaurant 1/2 full- told they would ask manager if they could sit us. 15 minutes later said they would- seated us at a far room table. Asked if if we could be seated another place said they would ask manager- 15 minutes later they said no. 3/4 hour after that still zero service - we simply left- for a very expensive restaurant there service is terrible supposedly they are open until 11- Maybe if they cant do anything without asking manager the manager should be readily available. No reflection on food- we wouldn't know as we weren't offered any

Yelp
Great service!! Blah food! Great ambiance and possibly romantic but not too dim. For the price point the food could have been more flavorful. The lobster bisque had a canned taste, the salmon was subpar. The Mac and cheese was decent and the crab stuffed shrimp were good. This was my first higher point meal while traveling to Detroit and I left feeling unsatisfied

Yelp
I've been here multiple times. Never a bad time there. The blueberry lemon drop is so good. I don't normally like sweet drinks but if you do, definitely try this one. The spicy shrimp eggrolls are good but the cheesesteak ones are even better. All 3 of these items are $10 on happy hour. I definitely recommend.

Yelp
Returned to Sullivan's for my birthday dinner. We were seated in a private booth and recieved several nice touches including a card upon being seated. They even took our picture, printed it and placed it a keepsake frame to commemorate my birthday! Shared crabcakes, a table side blt salad and three steak platter. Steak served lukewarm, alerted manger who was very responsive. Disappointed but very satisfied with customer service and manager's response. Server friendly but disappeared for long periods. Cocktails seemed to take an usually long time to prepare. Despite the slow service -Love the ambiance and live music.

Yelp
Have been to several other Sullivans locations and it's usually pretty good. I don't know why this location doesn't feel like the others. The food is ok. The wine is way overpriced. Service is about what you'd expect. Try to catch a deal like this recent email offer but beware the wine price.

Yelp
Ust time here just had martini at the bar waiting for our party to arrive, it was amazing, Our dinner party enjoyed an amazingly delicious meal complete with great appetizers, calamari soo good, steak and sea bass entree on point and ended with my fave of the night, banana foster bread pudding! We were quite a large party, however service was delivered as such we were able to savor and enjoy everything. And the jazz ensemble really gave a great vibe to the evening. Think I'll be returning pretty soon.

Yelp
Ordered the 6oz filet mignon Medium Rare, it came out Blue so I sent it back. It came back Rare but had a burnt charred crust to it. Wasn't great at all for a steakhouse. I would've sent it back again but my husband would've been done eating by the time I got a new one. Ordered still water but the wine glasses smelled like wet dog. Ended up with tap water. Best part was the French onion soup and the bread. Doesn't say much. No manager table interaction. Server wasn't attentive. Won't come back.

Yelp
There is not enough time for me to say all the things I have to say about our terrible experience at Sullivans Steakhouse on Mother's Day!! We arrived a bit early for our reservation which was at 230pm and we expected a wait no problem. I made a mistake and didn't count my 5 year old in the reservation number and the manager allowed us to add a seat to our table. The host originally said we could not and when asked for options he did not offer any. The restaurant is beautiful and in a beautiful hotel but the tables and chairs are setup in such a way that we had to divide our round table into two half's because if not I would've been in the aisle and or getting hit in the head with a tray. We sat around 245pm and we did not get a salad until around 425pm. We asked for the salads to be brought out first before the food. We didn't get our food until 510 or so and mine and my dads didn't come until 530 and my dads did not come and we asked for it to go. Other people walked past and said they were there since 130pm and it was 4pm and they didn't have food ever. When you looked at the restaurant most people were not happy because they did not have food or drinks. We didn't get offered extra drinks or bread an appetizer or anything and we ended up having to share food just to sustain until the food came. We didn't have water in our glasses most of the time and with our meals even. For a place as expensive as this you would think the staff would be better trained both front and back of the house. It was disappointed all the way around. Our waitress also seemed to be part of the issue we asked for the manager it took him 30 mins to come it took our bill like an hour. We did get comped on the meal that never came that we took home and my dad said it was dry and not edible. We also got 25% off the other bill but it took a lot and it should've been offered. Our waitress stated it was overbooked and reserved and the kitchen got a lot of orders at the same time. She also stated she would check in with us and give us updates but she did not throughout all that time. The other waitress next to us were able to get there tables in and out quicker and they had drinks and water throughout their time. It seems like they had a lot of excuses but not a lot of ways to make up for the terrible experience and time spent. No one wanted spend 4 hours at a restaurant. I will not be returning my crab cakes were good and the other food I had was bland the Caesar salad was okay but everything else was unimpressive for the price and time.

Yelp
Ill say a 3.8 the eggrolls and the fried oysters were rich, cheesy and amazing however the menu was huge and i felt overwhelmed with options and both the food and drink menu being so large in size left little table space to set them down. The inside is pretty nice. All of the wood gives it a very 70s vibe. I personally wasn't a fan of the table facing the meat display being the main rout for servers. While trying to have an intimate dinner its hard to do so when servers are communicating, rushing and carrying food and plates back and forth in front of you. For an entree my fiend had the NY strip and i had the Tomahawk steak as a medium well and got a huge piece however my issue was the plating. It was served on a chopping board uncut with a huge half of a tomato a large garlic skin on and all and some thyme i think and it just looked awkward. The steak its self could have been more seasoned but the béarnaise sauce didn't really help it nor was it provided with such a huge cut of steak (had to ask). The MAC and cheese with lobster on the other had had to be sent back. The pasta was welly cooked but the cheese was wet and tasted like it came from a box. The lobster on the Mac was more of a lobster crumble. It was a small bit of lobster crumble up and lightly charred which all together made this a bad plate. *New York strip was served in a deep bowl like plate which is good for holding a sauce if it had one but bad for cutting a NY strip The dessert on the other hand was amazing!! The banana foster bread had just the right amount of crunch and sweetness and the banana was present but not overpowering and the peanut butter pie was a bit misleading by the name but was truly amazing! This made it the perfect finish to the night. Overall ill give this place a 7.6/10 they are new with room for improvement but with time and proper staffing i think they can handle it

Yelp
We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Dakota did an amazing job serving us and making our drinks. We are particular when it comes to cocktails and Dakota recommended the perfect cocktails for our palates. The beef Wellington bites were fantastic as was the ribeye and lobster Mac and cheese.

Yelp
Nice location, but overall needs some work. When we arrived, we were told that "any" of the high tops are a part of the bar, and are first come first serve. There were only two high tops. One of them being directly under a giant TV, with the seats all facing one way. We sat there for about 15 minutes before I went back up to the host stand to make sure that this table was in fact, a table to eat and get service at. I actually spoke to a female manger who stated yes, it is. After that we sat there for another 10 mins or so until a server who had walked past us multiple times stopped to ask if we have been helped. After that, we received fabulous service from Dakota. I CANNOT say enough how much his service made up for the entire expierence. We all loved our drinks, rosemary old fashion, banana old fashion & signature vodka & pineapple, however they did take about 20 mins to arrive. Appetizers came another 20 mins after that. Eggrolls were good but some of the cauliflower bites tasted only like raw flour and sauce. Our meal did not arrive for another 40 mins , at this point we had been there for around 2 hours. We ordered 2 of the same steaks, cooked medium. One was very rare. The crab stuffed shrimp was cold. After the entire expierence Dakota grabbed him manager and we were able to get a pretty good discount on our meal. Once again, Dakota was a great server and made our experience as pleasant as it could be. I would have been very upset if we had to pay full price for this meal. I'd come back and sit at the bar for drinks during happy hour but nothing else would really make me want to return. (Thanks again Dakota! I hope you get the kudos you deserve)

Yelp
My coworker and I came here for lunch. We were excited to try out this new place within walking distance from work. We both ordered salads, burger, and steak . They served warm bread with our salads with really tasty butter. They have a lunch menu which is nice even though still pricey, but everything was good. Our servers name was Maelais and he was excellent! We will definitely be coming back for lunch.

Yelp
So. Really great food. Bone-in Filet Mignonette. Interesting and delish cocktails. Lovely ambiance. Live but not overwhelming music with well-curated intermezzo. What to fix? Service. Need training for seamless fine dining at serious price point. Proper course pacing. (First appetizer. Then salad...) Timely clearing. Cutlery replacement between courses. Staff that can pronounce the wine list. More attention from the back servers. Lots of promise, However, because the food is great.

Yelp
It was bad service and the food was awful. It was not a good meal. The meal took 3 hours and the steak was inedible. This was very disappointing.

Yelp
My friends and I came to have dinner at Sullivans. Patrick provided great recommendations on food and drink items. The food and drinks were delicious. Service was wonderful. The music during dinner time was beautiful.

Yelp
The prime rib French dip was delicious. Also got the dynamite sushi roll. Was a cool balance of hot and cold and a great appetizer to start. Also, the garlic fries that came with the French dip were on point! Friendly staff that make you feel extremely welcome and a great place to eat at the Westin Hotel without even having to leave!

Yelp
I ordered a medium well steak only too get it burnt and well done at that just just out right bad

Yelp
Not good. Food 6/10. Service 2/10. Orders were never brought to table, yet somehow showed up on bill. Water never refilled, other rounds of drinks not offered (all night), empty glasses not removed from table (see pic of empty glasses sitting on table all night).

Yelp
My husband and I came in for lunch. It was a 3.5 for me but I will round up since they just opened. The interior is nice but the booths were a bit tight. Our wine order was incorrect and I eventually sent mine back, which was returned in an incorrect glass, to me small details like this I notice. My steak was very good, so was the soup. Sides were nothing amazing. My husbands fish was a bit over. It was a nice spot for lunch, but it is clear they are still working out the kinks.

Brandi P.

Yelp
Everything about our experience here was nothing short of amazing. From Patrick our server to our chef Tommy (who literally brought out and described each dish he prepared). The atmosphere and ambiance was very sultry, sexy, and yet very subtle and humble. I would recommend Sullivan's to anyone who is looking for an amazing experience!

Karyn B.

Yelp
Not a great experience. The resturant was empty but they literally sat us next to another couple and couldn't move us because they said they were booked. 2 hours later, the resturant isn't even 1/2 full. The food was mediocre and so was the exercise. I have been to better Sullivans.

Yelp
Our family of 5 had a great experience at Sullivan's for my daughter's 24th birthday. It was a Sunday evening, so there was a light crowd. Our server, Max, was quick to greet us and very knowledgeable about the drinks and food. We had the calamari and spicy shrimp egg rolls for appetizers and both were very good. We all had different steaks which were cooked the way we requested. We also enjoyed our sides- lobster Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes. Finally, we had the peanut butter pie and a slice of cheesecake. We will be back again. Great spot!

Yelp
We went to Sullivan's for our anniversary. We ordered our food at 7:50 and at 8:45 we were told it still wasn't close to being ready. We had tickets to an event at at 9:00 so we had to leave without eating. Another table had to do the same thing. They took our address and said they would send us something yet we haven't received nothing thus far.

Yelp
I'll start this review by saying Sullivans was highly anticipated and somewhere I had been excited to try since it opened, and I finally got the chance to go... here's the experience: Last night myself and a group of friends (6 in total) finally went. When we got there we tried to valet the car and were met with valet telling us that we could only valet if we were staying at the hotel. Ok, that's fine, street parking I went. In the meantime, my friends went in to secure our table, 6:30pm reservation. I finally found street parking about 10/15 minute later, only to walk in and see my friends waiting at the front to be seated. After about another 5 minutes we finally got seated, 15 minutes after our reservation (note- the dining room was 1/4 full so not sure what the wait was for?). Our server comes over and is explaining menu and drinks, asks us if we want still or sparkling, we order bottles of water and they bring one, said the other bottle would be coming. In the meantime, the waiter comes back over to take our appetizer and drink orders, we all order drinks, two of the drinks were Aperol Spritz's- he has no idea what this is, that's fine, he said the bartender would know. 20/30 minutes goes by and our apps come out... still no drinks... still no water. We ordered shrimp, egg rolls, Wellington bites, and oysters. Apps were decent aside from the shrimp, which was dry and tasted like it had sat out for quite awhile. About this time our water comes out and the gentleman apologizes and said he had to search in the basement for more bottles of water... lol, what?? Another 5/10 minutes go by and we ask for drinks, which our server says they are coming. After another 5 minutes our drinks arrive, everyone's correct aside from the aperol spritz, these were just two straight shots of aperol (lol) no champagne or soda. We ask them to remake them, which in turn takes another 10/15 minutes. This time the manager comes over with our drinks and I expressed our concerns thus far. Joey (the manager) apologized and assured us that he would make sure the rest of our time was great. We ordered our entrees with no issues except our server was a little confused. When I ordered my steak he kept asking me what side I wanted with the steak. He was under the impression that a side came with my entree, which is untrue and all sides are separate. In which, I had to correct him. Our entree came out fine, nothing special by any means... but ok. At this point we asked to order another drink and our server responded to us with a questionable "y'all want to order more drinks?" Before telling us he would have to come back to take drink orders again. It almost felt as if our server had not only never worked in the restaurant business before, but had never been out to dinner before. Joey (the manager) came up to us towards the end of our dinner and told us he would bring someone over to clear off our table, which the finished dishes sat on for probably 20 minutes and that he was going to bring us out a dessert spread as an apology for the unacceptable dinner. 4 desserts were brought out, all were just 'ok', nothing spectacular but we appreciated the gesture. When the bill arrived It was approximately $1,300 for 6 of us. My friend generously went to pay the bill but looked at the bill before paying. She noticed that the desserts that were supposed to be "comped" were charged on the bill, and 5 desserts were charged, we only got 4 to our table lol. We called the waiter over and he was going to go get Joey because he was never told to comp anything. We waited about 10 minutes and another manager came over because Joey was "in the back cooking" and he said he would take care of it. About 5/10 minutes later the waiter brings the bill back to us, still wrong. We tell him there was still charges in there that Joey said were comped and he proceeds to argue with us that the bill is correct. We ask to go get the manager again and the manager comes over apologizing and said he would fix the bill, which he does end up doing. All in all, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had, not just in Detroit, anywhere. What a complete letdown! Safe to say I would never go back.

Yelp
I'd been looking forward to going to Sullivan's for the first time, but it will definitely be my last time. I went today on Mother's Day and it was disappointing, especially for it being a special day for my Mom. No Parking Information: There's nothing on Sullivan's website to state where you can park, so when we arrived the restaurant, valet said they only provide parking for hotel guests and to park at a nearby lot for $30. This is after waiting 10 minutes in the valet line to find this out. Usually most upscale restaurants will negotiate a deal with valet for restaurant parking. Long Wait Times with a Reservation: We had a reservation and still had to wait for 30 minutes. The host was stressed in the midst of a very packed restaurant waiting area and he couldn't tell us how long the wait would be. Many customers who all had reservations were very disgruntled with the extended wait time and there's limited seating in the waiting area. No apology from the host staff or manager for the long wait times. Subpar Restaurant Service and Food: Once we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before the waitress greeted us. Then, we waited another 10 minutes before water was brought to us. It took 30 minutes for us to receive our bland appetizers and another 45 minutes to receive our cold entrees. The wait staff was understaffed and looked overwhelmed. Overall, very disappointed by my first time experience at the restaurant. I dine often locally and around the world at 5 star restaurants. I do not recommend Sullivan's in Detroit - Save your money and time and dine elsewhere!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Sullivan's on Friday evening to hear a friend of ours perform. We sat at the bar and it was one of the best evenings we've had in a long time. I had the French 75 and he had the Perfect Patron Margarita. We shared the sriracha shrimp lettuce cups. Those drinks went down so smooth, we had two! The service was great even after my boyfriend felt a chip on the glass he was drinking out of. The bartender immediately removed the glass and made him another drink. A couple of the managers came over to make sure he was ok and apologized profusely. If the service is anything like this in the dining room like it was as the bar, I can guarantee that we will become regulars at Sullivan's Detroit!!

Yelp
First I'd like to start off by saying I went to this steakhouse for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, but that's where all the niceties ended. We went on a Tuesday, 10/3, the restaurant was about 30% full and it took 15 minutes to get drinks. We ordered appetizers, my boyfriend had pork belly & I had a crab cake. His pork belly took about 15 minutes to come out, but unfortunately, my crab cake took about 25 minutes. The pork belly was delicious, the crab cake was a mess...it had carrots, radish, and withered Romain lettuce on top, idk if that was supposed to be some kind of slaw, but it was ridiculous. The inside of the crab cake was made of a creamy filling & didn't have much crab in it. The waitress was nice, but she was slow, & I'm not sure if it was because of the back of house, or if she just didn't care. For our entree's he ordered the bone in rib eye, creamed corn, & sweet potato casserole. He enjoyed his steak, & corn, the potatoes tasted like they came out the can, they were not good. I ordered the Wagyu NY Strip with steamed spinach. The steak was undercooked, not even rare, but RAW in some spots. & had to be sent back twice, so I just canceled it. & the spinach was literally just steamed, no seasoning added AT ALL. The managers came over twice, once to apologize about the wait, & comped my crab cake, & the other manager came with 2 free drinks & offered a free dessert(this apparently wasn't communicated to our waitress because she had to go confirm with the manager). The free drinks were disgusting, I was confused as to why he didn't ask us what we were drinking and offer us that if they were really trying to give us something for the inconvenience. Honestly, they should've comped everything except the drinks because it was a horrible experience, & it was even more messed up because it was supposed to be my birthday celebration. They need a new chef, & better training for the waitstaff if this is supposed to be a fine dining experience. & why is there no bread when you sit down???

Yelp
Sullivan's grand opening was Wednesday September 20, 2023. Ambiance was exceptional. Restaurant was cozy and people friendly. Staff was friendly with good service. Food was excellent with previews of oysters on the half shell, shiracha shrimp in lettuce wrap, salmon and scallop skewers, prime rib sliders, cheese steak and spicy shrimp egg rolls along with other delicate eats. You will enjoy the atmosphere , food and drink.

Yelp
The appetizers were delicious!!! I think we almost ordered them all. The pork belly was tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of fat. The beef Wellington balls and the cheesesteak egg rolls were also delicious. We also had the shrimp lettuce cups. I ordered from the Delmonico and Frites from the lunch menu. Unfortunately my steak was much smaller than 8 oz as the menu said, and the "Frites" were frozen seasoned curly fries. I did not bother to send it back to get another due to the time it took for it to come out from the time we ordered. We place our order around 3:00 and our entrees didn't come out until 4:30. My friends ordered ribeyes, they were cooked to perfection. The sides were cold. Our server Aaron was amazing and the manager was accommodating and removed my meal and the cold sides from our bill. The atmosphere was warming and inviting. I will definitely return and order the Cajun Ribeye next time.

Yelp
Sullivan's exceeded expectations in every possible way. The food and drinks were incredible and the service brought the experience to the next level. I came with a large group and everyone left happy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great steak, seafood, and wine. I will be returning soon and appreciate the warmness of this incredible team!

Yelp
We were a group of 7 adults who held menus in our laps for 30 minutes. Drinks took 15 mins to prepare at which point I knew we were in a long ride. Entrees were staggered so the party ended up eating as it came out so our food didn't get cold waiting. Side dishes arrived 5 mins later and steak sauces 5 mins after that. While the 30 mins meal was being prepared, the staff neglected to say that the loaded baked potato 50% of us had ordered would not be delivered. Did the staff not think of this when the food order was fired in the kitchen? Who wants to drink a $100 bottle of red wine that hasn't been decanted? Save your money. Save your heartache. Outback is better than this place.

Yelp
This review is for Taylor- a server in a private room. Taylor was pleasant and even though our experience at the restaurant was very slow service- she made sure our appetizers and cocktails came out quickly and correctly! She was a super star!

Yelp
We visited here to enjoy our anniversary. Our food was delivered to the wrong table and sat for awhile before the couple called over the server (I know this because we told them I think you got our order). Instead of remaking they took the same food back to the Kitchen after it sat in front of someone else and said they remade it. But instead of doing so they reheated it which made the shrimp rubbery and the medium steak be well done and our sides cold after promising they made it fresh per our request. We sent back once again to have it done correctly. Our sides were still like warm, but we made the best of it. At the end of the night, we received our bill. My partner never looked at the bill (which was our mistake), but just gave the card. Well come to find out when we got home, we were charged double for everything! After calling the manager it was a promise to fix it, but no real apology or sense of responsibility for the over charge. They have to do better. This restaurant has so much potential but these type of mistakes aren't good for consumer. I will say the ambiance, music and atmosphere was very nice. I just can't say it was worth the over $500 in over chargers.

Yelp
Lamb Chops on point. Service was fast. It's a nice relaxed vibe. Recommend to anyone who loves grilled lamb chops.

Yelp
The food was tasteless and one of the staff stole my cousin birthday gifts that was worth well over a $1000. When ask to look at the camera they said they don't have any.

Yelp
Had cowboy ribeye, all gratin potatoes, key lime pie. This was amazing and so tasty - we actually got to meet the new general manager Chris - he came by to check on our meal and we wished him luck. Definitely worth the stop.

Yelp
Had dinner at Sullivan's on a Saturday night out with friends and had a great time! The live music made for a relaxing atmosphere, the drinks were great, and the food was amazing! The staff was wonderful and it was a really nice touch to have the Chef, Tommy, present our entrees to us! Highly recommend Sullivan's for a great night out downtown!

Yelp
We had visited this restaurant after the Lions Thanksgiving game and although we had reservations it appeared too many reservations we taken and we didn't have the best experience. We decided, being that it was so busy that day, to give them another try on Christmas Eve. We are EXTREMELY happy we gave Sullivan's and their staff a second chance to show us what they had to offer. Devon, our waiter never missed a beat, making sure we were taken care of. The broiled Salmon, Brick Chicken, T-bone, Ribeye and Wedge salad with Blackened Shrimp were all exceptional. Everyone was served their course at the same time, food was hot, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We brought a 6 year old along with us and appreciated the kids menu that was offered, although, this particular six-year-old loves Salmon (not on a kids menu and we didn't expect it to be). He devoured the broiled salmon like it was the best thing he ever had, that is, until he was served his very large piece of Cheesecake with Strawberry topping. This is going to be our go to restaurant for special occasions (and maybe some carryouts)

Yelp
Worst $350 ever spent. The "jumbo" shrimp were tiny and half were missing tails. Like the $100 lobster tails they were frozen and tasteless. The Wagyu steak seemed too good to be true. Because it wasn't even prime. Don't. Just don't.

Yelp
Cheeseburger egg rolls was the only good thing we got to eat from here. Asparagus & mash Potatoes had no seasoning Steak had to be sent back for overcooking. Second round of steaks were delicious.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants especially happy hour. This will probably be my last time coming Charles/Chuck my waiter the worse I've witnessed here. He didn't give me any water or silverware when I arrived which should've been the first thing I received. My egg rolls came quickly (I asked for extra sauce didn't receive it no biggie). Next I ordered crab cake sliders and fries Charles informed me they weren't on the happy hour menu. Not sure why because Ive been here a few times and im aware of that. My food comes out and its a crab cake and cold fries. When I told Charles I ordered crab cake sliders I felt as though he instantly had an attitude and told me no I didn't order that. I had to call my friend and double check he confirmed I order crab cake sliders. Not the same "Chuck" who was more pleasant with the ladies sitting next to me. The kicker was I heard Charles discussing me with his colleague which was very rude, at least whisper so I won't hear you. Charles/Chuck did take the crab cake off my bill.,I didn't ask (but thank you). My problem here is customer service from the beginning to end. Ive been in the customer service business over 20 years. I believe in being pleasant to everyone!! that's a part of the job especially in the hospitality business trust me I know I actually worked for the Marriott and I loved giving great customer service. I'm so disappointed in this establishment maybe I could be a little more understanding if I was mean or rude but I didn't give that
