Sully's Steamers

They got everything right!!! Seriously we come in with large to go orders for family. We grab and dip. They got the order completely right!!! And man is it delicious. My 70yr old father devoured the sausage egg and cheese. Threw some hot sauce on it and went to town. My husband ate 2 and my youngest ate the entire bagel!!! I am impressed it is moist meat, soft bread, fresh lettuce and so much CHEESE. So many places will put the smallest slice of cheese barely melted. This was a MELT i mean just dripping cheese and I loved it! Service was good as well fast, patient(first visit so we had to look), informative and nice. It wasn't a rushed morning but the shop wasn't empty so they were booking it in the back with to go orders and online orders. The wait was beyond reasonable. 10/10 we will come back! Parking, this is main street be aware parking is limited. Early mornings are easier to get in so a Sunday st 8am will be a awesome time to find parking go grab and run. Saturday during the farmers market won't work as well. So plan ahead! This place is also decently priced for what you are getting VERY reasonable! So if you need go feed more than 2 this would be a great place to get a good meal that will fill you up to walk falls park. Or a stop in after a good run!

Walked in on a Saturday morning and it was easy to order and sit down. Menu is labeled with breakfast like sandwiches if that is your choice. Pick your bagel flavor and they will bring it to your table when it is ready. Got the meat chimney and the california steamin’. Very good, all melds together so it doesn’t fall apart into pieces.

We got breakfast here at 10:30 am on Saturday, 3/22/25. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The line moved pretty quickly and it took about 10 minutes for us to get our food. It was hot inside, so we sat outside. I got the Sister’s Sunrise ($5.75, egg and cheese) on an everything bagel. The egg and cheese were fine. Here’s the thing. I appreciate bagels how they are supposed to be enjoyed—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you steam a bagel, it defeats the whole purpose of a bagel. I just don’t understand the appeal. Why ruin a good thing?

Stopped in here for lunch, I picked a veggie bagel, I was happy they offer animal free options as well as gluten free too. They had a good crowd here and we did find seating pretty quickly, bagel was really good!

Visiting from NYC. Came for lunch and had the McSteamy on an everything bagel. A roast beef sandwich that tastes like a Big Mac, only better. I’d give the sandwich 4.25/5 and the service and atmosphere 5/5. Really liked this place and will come again!!!! Cold brew was excellent too!

Quick and delicious food. We wanted to try this place out before we left Greenville and it did not disappoint! The bagels here are so good! You get to choose what type of Bagel sandwich you want and then choose what Bagel type you want. Service was quick and prices are affordable. I enjoyed my meal here a lot! Kinda makes me want to go in a Bagel phase and make some sandwiches at home

Loved the "steamers" both times I've been! Had build your own breakfast ones both times. Was great both times. So warm amd soft! Hits the spit every time. Restaurant was clean both times and employees were great. Service was quick. No complaints. Will definitely be back.

It started with breakfast before the farmers market 14 years ago and has turned into our year round Saturday morning ritual. We travel across town to this location because of the consistently excellent, hot and steamy bagel sandwiches, great atmosphere and considerate staff. We know there are other locations closer to us but Sully’s on Washington just can’t be beaten.

Love the concept of this place steamed bagels as sandwiches you can't go wrong here! I always get the nacho Maximus on a jalapeño cheddar bagel.. thank me later

I'd been craving a bagel for a really long time. I spent 4 years in New York and had never experienced a delicious bagel until I lived there. I saw that this place was really popular in Greenville so I had to give it a try! It was really crowded when we went, there were almost no open spots and the line was long! But despite this, the food came really quickly and the servers were really attentive. I got a classic lox and cream cheese on an asiago bagel. I will say the texture of the bagel was not a bagel at all, it was more of a soft fluffy bread and I'm not sure if that's just how they make the bagels? It wasn't a typical bagel texture but that doesn't mean it was any less delicious! I still thoroughly enjoyed it and they did not skimp on the lox, which I appreciated. Will definitely come again and get one of their giant sandwiches. I suspect it would be my only meal of the day haha

If u like soggy, steamed bagels, this is the place for u. Everything is fine, except I do not like soggy, steamed bagels.

This was the tastiest, messiest sandwich I've had in a long time...and I'll take another. Service was quick on a late night food run although the place was packed. A nice place for visitors for good quality bagels. Definitely an experience.

Sully's Steamers is a delicious bagel joint at all hours of the day and at night (on weekends). I saw good things about Sully's Steamers on Yelp so decided to stop in for a quick bite. We had the pup in tow but thankfully there was limited outdoor seating. Due to the beautiful weather, the tables were all taken - but after a brief wait, by the time we got our order, we were able to take a seat. The bagel sandwich menu is extensive and has every possible combination of toppings to choose from. I loved my smoked salmon bagel and Mr. Burn's was a great BEC. My only complaint is I wish the bagel was toasted... but I do understand that the restaurant is called Sully's STEAMERS. Next time I'm craving bagels in Greenville, whether it's at 10am or late night on the weekend, Sully's will be my go-to!

It was so nice to be greeted! The owners father was talking with everyone in line. Very cool location that handled the lunch rush well. I asked for ALL the cheese and received it! lol I may be mistaken but I believe it was called the Ridge Line. Very messy and very delicious!

Great spot! Their bagel sandwiches are made to order. There can be a line during certain times of the day. I ordered the blondie it came out hot and melted. So Yum! There is cute murals on the walls and seating. Also around the corner is a very cute outdoor seating area for the downtown Greenville people.

On a random day I couldn't decide on lunch so I decided to swing by Sully's Steamers. Being from out of town I never heard of Sully Steamers but I certainly had it bookmarked. Originally I wanted to show up for breakfast but hey, anyone can have breakfast for any meal right? I ordered an el camino with sausage instead of ham. I was told ahead of time about how they steam their bagels. Not exactly my jam but I can appreciate being different and unique. The bagel slipped out of my fingers a number of times. but was still tasty each time I could get a grip on it. I should add the Dr Pepper here is wonderful and matches up closely with McDonald's! With a handful of ice my soda certainly quenched my thirst! Overall Sully's Steamers is a great place to sit down and have a quick bite. The restaurant is inviting and consistent across its chain of stores.

Quick and delicious! Our family loved this restaurant and the service was so quick! Amazing food! We will be back when in town. Inside isn't anything special but the smell is magical.

I spent the better part of a year thinking this place was a seafood place. Come to find out that it's a bagel place! I love bagels so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Reedy Rueben to go, and mind you I live three minutes away. By the time I got home and opened the sandwich, it was completely soggy. It fell apart in my hands, and needless to say, though the flavor was good, I was disappointed. This is definitely a place where eat in should be required. They do not fair well to go. Next time I try I will eat in to see if there is a definite difference.

I was working in the area and everyone recommended Sully's. After work one way I went to get a sandwich, they were so right. The workers were personable and helpful with picking out the right sandwich. It was amazing I wish we had one in my town. I also meet a great artist at one of the tables near me. What a great experience.

Our first visit to Sully's and it's safe to say we were big fans. They have a similar concept to many sandwich restaurants, you place you're order at the counter and bring it over to your seat. They have many options, including breakfast. For my order, I tried the Ridgeline - turkey, cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon on an Asiago bagel. The streaming of the bagels results in a texture that's wonderfully soft and fluffy. The sandwich and all it's ingredients arrive out piping hot. If you're in the area, don't miss out!

I read plenty of reviews ahead of time and was fully prepared for a wet, soggy-like bagel. I honestly didn't think it was too mushy. I mean, it was by no-means a Jersey bagel, but that's not what it's supposed to be. Bagel flavor was fine and was nicely filled. It was great to have in a local park as a nice little picnic lunch.

Great sandwiches on bagels and then they steam the entire sandwich which is the perfect way to heat the sandwich. I had the Hulk which was VERY good. Sullys is also open late if it's after a show and there aren't a lot of places open to eat. I wish they had some of these in Atlanta.

Ive had the best, consistent experiences when visiting Sullys. The sandwiches are unique & staff is especially engaging which adds to the overall experience!! Laid back atmosphere, coffee with (flavored creamers!) and options are plentiful. Indoor and outdoor seating. Hours are good, open late. Look for Brice when ordering ~ reliably friendly and welcoming.

Really tasty! The bagels were really good. It did take them longer than I would have expected to prepare our order, but they came out hot and delicious. The egg and cheese on a bagel was great.

Service was good and friendly. Atmosphere was good. First time trying a steamed bagel. Unfortunately it's just not the ideal way to cook a bagel. It was totally limp. Not soggy but no satisfying crispy edge. I appreciated the vegan options but steamed bagels just aren't good in my opinion

I never had a steamed bagel and thought they might be awful given I've always had authentic NY bagels. Well I couldn't be more wrong! These steamed bagels are delicious!! Crave worthy even! There are several great vegetarian choices too!

Sullys has some of the best bagels when it comes to variety & taste. The atmosphere is always comfortable and the service is never anything to complain about. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it's never a miss!

I don't think I've had a more delish sandwich! The bagel was so soft and yummy! I got the Griswold special and it was ridiculously good. Came out steaming hot. I can't rave abt this sandwich enough! They have so many good options to chose from. The place was packed but service was quick. If every in the Greenville area this is a must try! Gotta see how i can get one in Charlotte lol

In Greenville for a few days. While My husband was out for a work training, I came over to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. It was amazing. So good that I came back this morning to grab breakfast. I did a mobile order and it was ready when I walked in. Service was great. The store is small but has a few tables and a counter seating area with a few tables outside. Great place to grab a delicious sandwich

It's just a preference thing for me. The service is amazing and everyone loves the bagels. I personally like mine toasted so it just isn't my cup of tea.

I think the bagel sandwiches here are really good with quality ingredients. The sandwiches are filling and great lunch choice. I chose the Hulk on a jalapeño bagel. They have several types of bagels to choose from. The sandwich itself had a lot of different meats, which reminded me of an italian. The steam makes the bagel soft but not mushy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a good, quick, and filling bite.

I love Sullys. The best bagel in town. Griswald is my go to, a Saturday tradition. Atmosphere is great, and the service is always top notch.

This place has been consistently amazing for the 11 years I have lived in Greenville. From the user friendly menu to the super nice staff, Sulley's is where it's at! I ordered the smoked salmon on everything and it was amazing. Cold smoke salmon, creme cheese and perfectly ripened red onions topped with capers on a warm steamy everything bagel. I have eaten just about every sandwich they have to offer and they are all delicious in their own way. If you are wanting breakfast, lunch, dinner or post drinking snack at 2am, Sulley and his team got you! Sulley even came over to ensure everything tasted great which sealed the deal! I came across Sully's Steamers on Yelp, and we decided to stop in for breakfast while on our trip to Greenville. They have a huge menu of different bagel sandwiches, including breakfast and non-breakfast sandwiches. Then you can choose what flavor bagel you want your sandwich on. The bagels are steamed, rather than toasted, so it's soft and easy to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful to make recommendations. I went with the breakfast bagel on an asiago bagel, which came with bacon, egg and cheese. It was good! My husband ordered the Hulk on an asiago bagel, which came with turkey, salami, cheese, pepperonis, and onions. He loved it, and wished we would have gone back the next day for another! They welcome dogs outside, and even offered to bring us a water bowl for our pups. The outdoor seating area is on the sidewalk along the building.

I can't believe I have never been here! Granted, I thought it was a dry cleaning place for the longest time lol, silly me. I came in for lunch today with my friend who suggested here and that's when I learned it's a bagel sandwich shop! The items are a great price and it fills you up. I got the Ridgeline and wow, absolutely delicious. I can eat a lot but my stomach was stuffed afterwards and I was done working for the day. I will say that my food did not travel well and had some liquid spilled out on my napkins and my bag was wet. Definitely a mix of the steam and any sauce on the sandwich. It was about a 10 minute walk back to office but I think next time I'll stick around and eat on the premises. Happy I had the chance to eat here!!

I order delivery when I'm working. Fast delivery with a hot product. I love the El Camino. I wish they would label the food and wrap it in wax paper as it sticks.. But let me tell ya' yummy!! Fresh, hot and loaded!!

Not shabby the gluten free bagels leave something to be desired. Slightly too sweet and the flavors of the ham or mayo make it even sweeter. My friend squeeze really like it here tho. He says it's like a home away from home so for that I give it a 2star

I did not realize this was a chain until arriving in Greenville as I saw one in Clemson. Service was friendly as I tried to figure out my order. I decided on the McSteamy which is a roast beef based on sesame seed bagel. Drinks and side of chips are self serve. Payment is at the counter. Order called out in about 10 minutes. The sandwich was massive!!! The Sammy was also boiling hot with steaming it. I liked it, did not love it. The pricing is also pretty jacked. I could have split this bad boy. The friendly service at the counter keeps the review elevated above a 3.5. In probably would not return however.

Favvv place for an amazing breakfast bagel, usually crowded but very worth it. Love how close it is to everything and it always stays open super late so no matter what time you start craving, they pull through

OUTSTANDING! The food is always fresh, the serving sizes are surprising, the service is always great! Every time I've visited this location, the folks taking my order and assembling my sandwich have been not only professional, but friendly as well. That goes a long way theses days. You need to make it worth it to me to spend my money on what you're selling. This is one of the few places I feel I get my money's worth. Come getcha some! You won't be sorry!

This was one of my favorite finds in Downtown Greenville this week! It was right near where we were staying, so I decided to give it a try one morning and was immediately hooked. The bagel was warm, and nicely melted (after they steam it). Super delicious, and a great place to stop and stay to eat, but also great if you need to grab something quick to go. Wouldn't really recommend the cold brew here, but very obviously the focus is on the bagel! Overall, definitely need to give this one a try if the opportunity presents itself.

You guys when I say, this was the best gluten free bagel of my entire life. I mean it. I got the Mr "T" bagel that contained turkey, mayo, lettuce, & tomato. This bagel shop has such a chill environment with outstanding customer service. Everyone was helpful & kind. If I lived here I would be broke from spending all my money here. 11/10 if you're considering it, GO. In depth gluten free review: not for celiac! But for the gluten intolerant like myself. The bagel texture was soft and like a pillow. Was NOT dry, and stayed perfectly together. It was SO GOOD that I had to double check to see if it was for real gluten free (it was!!) I'm still daydreaming about the experience I had here. Yall go get you some!!!!

If you're thinking about trying this place please do it!! We came here for lunch and I am obsessed . You walk in and order at the counter and they have a pretty wide menu and even then you can customize your order and the type of bagel you would like. They even have vegan options. I ordered the original Italian with no onions and add avocado on the asiago bagel. It was around $13 for the sandwich and a bottled drink. They have chips and cookies as sides for the combo and fountain drinks and bottled drinks. My one suggestion is probably offering more fresh sides or fresh drinks. When you're done ordering, someone will yell out your name and bring you your order. I would say it wasn't too long of a wait maybe 5-10 minutes and the place was very busy. We went Sunday in the afternoon. The sandwich itself is an actual beauty. It is very big and packed with flavor and ingredients. They definitely include tons in the sandwich. I cut mine to make it a little easier to eat but it is still a very messy BUT delicious experience. The staff was also very polite and friendly and the place is very clean. I would 100% recommend trying this place at least once. You will not regret it!

I got the ridgeline and it was awesome on the everything bagel. The only thing I would change would have been to put it on a thin bagel bc it was thiiiyackkk

Most of my visits to Sully's have been great. Today, though, the sandwiches were subpar. Before I even mentioned anything to him, hubby remarked that his bagel wasn't as good as usual, and they seemed to be using less meat. I had noticed the less meat thing, and I also thought the GF bagel was not as good as usual; it had a hard spot in it. When I mentioned the hard bagel to the manager on site, he said the bagel probably just wasn't steamed enough. Oh, okay .... So, if your bagel seems hard or dry, take it back to the counter, and ask them to steam it more. In all, Sully's is a good spot to stop for a quick lunch.

This was a surprisingly great place for lunch. While in town for a conference, some of colleagues were taking about this place and I had to try it for myself. Let me tell you, it was well worth the walk to grab. I had the neighborino and it was delicious! With the steaming of the bagel, it made everything so warm and yummy. I highly recommend stopping by to try one if you are in the area.

Great service and perfect ambiance. The bagels taste so good here. Steamed, not toasted took a few bites to acclimate to, but after awhile it taste natural and oh so good. Love silly's and we'll be back.

I moved to the Greenville area about 2 years ago. When we were checking the area out prior to officially moving, this was one of the first places we visited. After that, I have visited this location several times. They used to serve a sandwich called "The Flash." It was my favorite, but it's a weird one so it probably wasn't ordered often, hence removed from the menu. However, since my "loss" (RIP ) of "The Flash," the staff are always willing to help me make a bagel sandwich that is similar if that's what I am craving. The staff are always friendly, and the manager is always present and helping out. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. They have a variety of sandwiches (breakfast ones too!) All sorts of different types of bagel flavors are available. It's a cute place and one of my favorites. If you're ever in the area, this is one of my top five recommended Greenville area restaurants.

Fantastic bagel sandwiches served on steamed, hot, and chewy bagels. The only thing that disappointed me was that I did not receive the sandwich I ordered. The Steamenstein is 1/2 corned beef and 1/2 pastrami topped with Swiss and spicy mustard. My sandwich had zero pastrami and I was super disappointed.

I came here with a friend for an early lunch. The place is tiny but they do have outdoor seating which is nice. The staff is super friendly especially the manager. He was super outgoing and so kind to our kids. Our food was delicious and I can't wait to go back and try something else.

This was a fun lunch. Messy and Yummmy! We sat in the window and people watched. Limited in sides. I got some New Orleans style chips which were ok. I forgot the name but the chicken salad was very good.

Perhaps I'm spoiled by old-school New York bagels. The crisp hard exterior, the doughy airy inside, the salty crunch, and the slightly sweet aftertaste as the sugars break down. Sully Steamer's is not that. It's the soggy, wet, chewy, steamed tangentially related cousin. It's less bagel and more coincidental sandwich inside of a bagel. The bagel itself is an afterthought. In which case, there are many other easier mediums to deliver the contents of a mediocre messy sandwich. It's like you took a frozen Costco bagel, soaked it in water, threw it in your college dorm's microwave oven, and threw in some cold cuts from your mini fridge and a half-eaten bag of chips on the floor. It's an underwhelming soft-on-soft bite with unimpressive flavorless insides. Soggy mush bagels, messy sauces, and Doritos inside a bagel is not a long-lasting novelty. Well intending, but it really makes no sense.

Favorite open-late place to grab a bite to eat but is good anytime! Food is fantastic and unique, service is quick and friendly, casual and enjoyable environment!

Stop as passing by. Tried something different and was okay. Sandwich was a little too soggy for me but tasted well. A little expensive by its is a big city downtown atmosphere.
