Great place to visit, beautiful scenery, view of the river and the iconic tower is spectacular. There is a trail along the river that take you to th Sulphur Springs Park and under the 275 expressway. Bring you camera, there is a lot of wildlife ready to have their picture taken. Caution, very few visitors, maybe due to a few caraters that seen to have mental or drug issues. My advise is to never visit the place alone and do not interact with the mentioned individuals.

This was a cool little random find for my brother and I to visit while in the Tampa area. Not a whole lot to the park (regretfully we didn't go over to the river), but it features a nice sized parking lot, natural beauty covered in Spanish moss, and, of course, the old standpipe tower! I was hoping to access the top, but they have it pretty well sealed...but the gothic carvings were neat, and the tower quite photogenic. Apparently they light the top up at night, too.

Pretty bleak for a park. I guess the main experience is the tower, but no one expect vagrance lives in there. Expect no playground, water pad or even viewing experience of the tower. If you take the trail underneath the bridge (if open), it will lead you to a more quaint part of the Hillsborough river. A lot of homeless people fishing or using drugs in the race track parking lot, but that's life. With a little TLC and monitoring, this location could provide an awesome haven awat from the hustle and bustle of the city!

This is a nice little park. The historic water tower is pretty right by the river. If you walk down the river you can see Ibis, ducks, herons, gators and turtles. A walk down the river takes you to the Sulfur Springs Pool park which is also nice to enjoy when it is nice outside.

Nice little park. Not many amenities that I saw from the entrance I went in. But a really big field and a trailer too. Not much here

Really nice open park. There is a lot of tree shaded areas around the tower next to a small river. We did witness a group of young people get into the tower and somehow managed to get to the top. Looking at the tower I am certain it isn't open to anyone. You can see them at the top. Great place for drone flying. Open and out of restricted air space.

Beautiful quite place to take in the sights or sit quietly by the water. Tower is closed but you can walk right up to it and take some cool pics or yell "olly olly oxen free" into it! It's an ample park with decent parking and a nice trail to jog or walk.
