The Service: The server is absolutely adorable! Fantastic customer service. She was very attentive with great attitude. The Food: Definitely try their Summer Buffalo Wings! Crispy fried wings. We loved the sweet & tangy flavors. For dessert, try the mango sticky rice full with coconut milk flavor. They used fresh mango. Perfect way to end our meal. The Parking: Street parking only.

Love this place! Recently tried the Chicken Curry Noodles and it was amazing! Every time I eat here it’s like having a home cooked meal. Definitely my favorite thai food spot in Burbank and the staff is always super welcoming and friendly. Love their breakfast burrito too! I only wish it was available all day.

All I can say is…WOW. I absolutely love this place. Their food never ceases to amaze me and their Green Curry Dumplings? I wish I could go there everyday just for the dumplings as they are so flavorful and just pure deliciousness. Their prices are great and their staff is very nice as well. Their only drawback is the limited seating.

The five (5) recent one star reviews by people with Armenian names are simply an unwarranted attack on this great restaurant. First, the guy doing this was not a customer. He is a delivery person who picked up the wrong delivery bag (he came in a picked up a bag when the restaurant people were not present). He did not confirm that it was the correct bag, which is required by the agreement between the restaurant and the delivery company. He wanted to blame the restaurant when it was entirely his fault. He is the one responsible for all these one star reviews because the restaurant owner would not take the blame for his error. I witnessed the confrontation that ensued when this guy came in and tried to blame the restaurant. He is a very large man who was invading the space of a small woman (two feet taller and 3 times heavier). Very obnoxious and scary. The type of guy who wants to escalate an argument into a physical confrontation. Google should delete this attempt to damage Summer Buffalo's rating. I eat at Summer Buffalo almost every week (sometimes more!!). It is probably the best Thai place in the county. The people there are very nice and try very hard to make their food great. Went there on a Sunday for lunch. I’m not sure if they have parking but there is plenty of street parking available. They have dine-in and dine-out. I got the Passion Fruit Iced Tea as a beverage and for lunch I ordered Pad See You (drunken noodles) as well as the Chicken Curry Noodles (khoa soi). The drink was refreshing, Pad See You was delicious but my God the Chicken Curry Noodles was spectacular! So so tasty! I asked for mild spice, it was enough heat to add to the flavor but not too much that just straight up burns you. This was one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back for that dish.

Cute little Thai place with a simple menu has a loyal following. We were here on a Sunday to get takeout and there’s not a lot of parking available. The lunch specials come with salad and a small egg roll and available on weekends. The pad thai noodles was flavorful and well-balanced, not as sweet as the run of the mill versions. Khao Soi’s portion was big. The much special orange chicken (not sure if it’s the same as the not-so-ordinary orange chicken or not) was the same as what you would get elsewhere.

This is the Thai SPOT, amazing food with well developed flavors and a large menu to come back again and again. The service was super fast, and super kind. We were in a rush for a flight and the waiter made sure everything we needed came super quick. It was everything you could want!

I finally had the chance to try Sommer Buffalo, which has been on my list for a while. My daughter and I decided to have dinner there, and it did not disappoint! Located in Burbank right off Glenoaks, this cozy little spot is perfectly situated on the corner, just past Verdugo. The atmosphere inside is charming, with dim lighting that creates a cool vibe. It's a small space with about eight tables, making it feel intimate yet inviting. They also have a little patio for those who prefer outdoor dining. To start, we ordered a couple of appetizers: the Summer Buffalo wings and Gyoza. The wings were a highlight--sweet and tangy with a perfect balance, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would definitely recommend these as a must-try! My daughter really enjoyed the Gyoza too; she mentioned they were better than a few places we've tried in the past, making them a solid choice as well. For our main courses, my daughter enjoyed the Pad Kee Mau, and I went with the Green Curry with greens and tofu. It was absolutely perfect--just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. We also tried the Thai iced tea, which was really good and not overly sweet at all. Our server, Put, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His service added to the overall positive experience. My daughter and I absolutely loved the place, and we will definitely be coming back for more delicious Thai food. If you're in the area and craving some Thai food, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is been a neighborhood staple for us for years now. It's still so dang consistent and flavorful, portions are great, price is right. Take out alone is delicious, and dine in adds a cozy atmosphere. The beef panang curry is chef's kiss. Just the right kick of spice and the sweetness of the coconut milk... YUM. Shout out to the owner and the staff here. Super friendly, super kind, and it's clear they put in the effort for your business. If you're here often enough, they'll treat you like friends and family.

My bestie brought me to Summer Buffalo, one of her favorite neighborhood restaurants. The restaurant is cozy and cute with a rustic chill interior. Our server greeted us upon arrival was extremely friendly. The food here is simply delicious and made fresh. Started off with their signature wings and curry dumpling. Wings are fried to a great crisp and is covered with flavorful sauce. The curry dumpling is something I have never had before. The curry sauce is so good that we asked for him to leave the dish even when we finished all the dumplings. We ordered the red curry beef lunch special and the pad see ew. Our dishes came out in a timely manner and was served fresh and hot. What I love about Summer Buffalo, whether I am at the Melrose location or this location, is that the food is just simply GOOD. So much flavor and seasoned where nothing is needed, not even chili sauce. That's a lot to say because i love chili sauce. The food here is served great just as it is. I would definitely come back to this location.

Great locals spot for traditional Thai food served hot delicious and quick Street parking which of a week night isn't a big problem Menu is not huge but that's perfectly fine as you will find something for everyone there Service is friendly and attentive Food was not delivered with any spice I could taste but chilli sauce or fresh chopped chillies are available if not offered We had 2 appetisers , dumplings in a green curry sauce which were great as were the satay chicken skewers Pad Thai noodles and beef curry equally delicious Total for meal $54 so great value as well There is a happy hour on food and drinks between 5-7pm and 1-3 pm everyday

Back at my favorite spot for another Beef Panang Curry! Their thai iced tea is also one of my favorites out there and the combination of the two are a match made in heaven! The staff here is truly so friendly and makes the best Thai food in LA! Definitely make this your go to spot

I'm so glad we stopped in for lunch! This place was amazing. The outside patio is very cute. Inside is small and quaint. The service was spot on! We started with a curry dumpling appetizer that was so good. I can see ordering a couple of these with some rice or noodles and calling it a day. Yum! My sister had the drunken noodles. AMAZING! And I had the Tom Ka soup which was delicious! We also both had a Thai tea, which was perfect as well. Good food. Excellent service. Great prices! A must for any Thai lover.

Ordered off Postmates for my first time having this place. They had a BOGO deal for Thai Tea, so I ordered that with my pad Thai meal. I would order from here again.

This place is absolutely amazing! The service was great. The food was incredible. Everything we had was delicious, from the green teas and the garlic edamame (super addicting) to the Pad Thai and the green curry! We were even treated to a side of asparagus that was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend 10/10. The place is small but the ambience is really nice.

If you are walking by the restaurant and smell the delicious food (hence lured in like a Siren's call), then it's fantastic! Except when ordering to-go upon arrival, the environment and restaurant connoisseurs appear anxious and rushed, especially given the tiny space and the fact that other Uber delivery driver's appear to have precedence of the customer gently indicating he is ready to order. The staff forced the purchase as a debit card (and I wanted to pay with cash, plus leaves tips easier and more tangible - who doesn't like that!?), and ushered me to pay quickly because the Uber delivery people had arrived post-haste. Talk about being judged!! Wearing flip-flops, a comfy T-shirt and some shorts, the guests were noticeably confused as to why I was standing waiting for "food." I felt uncomfortable. A couple entered while I was waiting, and the table that was available for them was "off skewer," wobbling back and forth and as they sat down to order, he came underneath the table to fix it for about 10 uncomfortable seconds. Because I was waiting (and standing wasn't a forte at this restaurant), having taken a seat in a neighboring 2-seated table left their availability limited for another dining spot. So I smiled and moved as soon as I realized this and they passed me just commenting on how this other table was available, refusing eye contact and non-verbally shunting me out of their comfy space. Ugh. Then just getting the food the woman who placed my food in the to-go bag was like "here you go" didn't look at me and seemed to be just like everyone else there - displeased with their environment lol I don't know. Food was good, atmosphere was y to the crap (crapy). Just be careful entering on a whim and expecting kindly tidings waiting for a 20 minute meal in a restaurant about the size of half a master bedroom:(

We visited Burbank from the Bay Area last month and were craving Thai food. After checking Yelp, we found a few restaurants in the area, but most were about to close as it was close to 9 pm. We called Summer Buffalo and were greeted by a super nice person who said they could still take us. When we arrived, they remembered our call and seated us at a cozy corner table. I absolutely loved the ambiance of this place--super casual yet romantic with a jazzy, chill vibe. The decor wasn't overly elaborate, but the dim lighting and thoughtful service created a great atmosphere. They even reused glass bottles with original labeling, which added a touch of sustainability and personality. We ordered the green curry chicken, pad kee mau with chicken, and chicken Thai fried rice. Everything was incredibly delicious. We also had coconut water which was so sweet and refreshing. The service was excellent, always with a smile. The host/server was extremely friendly and even offered to cut the coconut in half and pack it for us so we could enjoy the coconut meat later. We will definitely be back when we visit Burbank again!

Yall. just hear me out. We walked in and there was no one in sight. The ingredients (canned goods) were all lined up on the wall... At that moment I knew this food was finna be BWUSSIN. Put (I think that's how you spell it) kept it real with the menu and what we might prefer... And everything SLAPPED. Flavorful, spicy, aromatic. And they didn't rush us to leave after closing.. 10/10 AND I WILL BE BACK Im at work right now dreaming about the roti I miss it already.

I always order here when I'm craving Thai food. The foods tasty, consistent and well portioned. They've been consistent with how it each dish tastes. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

I have mixed feelings about our dinner here. The wings and sausage apps were liked by everyone at our table. The water came with a wedge of lime in tiny adorable little cups we loved and kept the water super cold the entire time. The service was good and the waitress was kind and answered every question. However.... I'm gluten free and asked about the pad see ew. She said they could make it gluten free. Music to my ears. The Pad See Ew came to the table without the black bean sauce and while the noodles were cooked to perfection, the taste was not the same. I asked if they forgot the sauce and she said the black bean sauce is made with soy sauce which has gluten so they left it out! I feel like this was a lost in translation situation. I would've ordered something else if she would've said they were going to give me plain noodles with no sauce. Apparently they cannot make the sauce with gluten free soy sauce. It was a big faux pas in my book. I heard their orange chicken was great. It sure looked great. Everyone else loved their meal. I wish I would've had the same experience. At least the mango with sticky rice was good. But really, how can you go wrong with mango? Scratch that, I don't want to jinx it.

This place is right next to me and I love it. The food is always amazing and they get it ready fast. Everyone that works there is super nice as well.

Cute little place with some delicious Thai cuisine. It's not the most inviting or comfortable spot to dine-in. Outdoor might be a little better, but we did sit inside. Service was charming and excellent and portions were ample and delicious. We started with Curry Dumplings that were SO good! I had Pad Thai which I Liked although it could have had a little more peanut sauce. My wife got their Special Pork Tacos (although, I don't think they're really a special as their Special Board is the same as it was a couple years back and never seems to change). They were just great! 100% recommend. A great choice in Burbank for dine-in or take-away.

BEST THAI AROUND!!! If you want great Thai food, this is your place. Look no further. These guys do it right. I'm no expert on Thai cuisine, but I have eaten a ton of it and visited Thailand several times so I think I have a pretty good idea about what's good. Their dishes are super fresh and made with very good ingredients. You really don't won't go wrong here and the people are some of the nicest folks around. AAA++++

I had a tofu veggie soup which was very bland. We also had green beans veganized. In order to spice up the soup I added the sauce from the green beans. My husband had green curry with tofu and he wasn't thrilled. The menu isn't very big and the ambiance non existent. But the service was excellent. We don't live in the area but met some friends.

Tried Summer Buffalo because there was a BOGO on the curry dumplings through DoorDash. I also got the chicken satay. The BEST curry dumplings I have ever had! So much flavor. The satay with peanut sauce was also outstanding. I had to try again a few days later and see how much better the food would be if I got it fresh. Arrived when they opened at 11:00. Ordered 2 of the dumplings, chicken satay and pad Thai. The dumplings were better than I remembered from a few days before. Satay was awesome. The pad Thai was also incredible! Could have used more crushed peanuts, but that's just more my preference. Even the small cucumber salad served with the satay was delicious. Quaint location, friendly staff and incredible food. I will be back for certain.

I wanted to come to Summer Buffalo for some time, and I'm glad I did. I brought with me my future daughter-in-law for lunch. The restaurant had nice outdoor dining as well as a beautiful inside dining room. We were greeted and sat down. Our waitress Amy was super sweet, answered all of the questions we had on the menu, and gave us recommendations from the lunch menu. We went with Pad Thai Chicken (a standard Thai dish) and Beef Panang Curry with Rice. Both dishes were amazing! Tasty, sweet, and spicy (but not over spicy). We had a wonderful time, and our waitress Amy was great. The food, service, and ambiance were great, and we will return to try different dishes. I highly recommend Summer Buffalo.

Cosy food joint located on the border of Burbank and Glendale. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of street parking. The service is good and they have beer on tap. The restaurant is pet friendly and kids friendly. The food tastes good and the portions are decent. The price for the food is reasonable. Located very close to Burbank downtown, this is a great place to grab dinner and head out to the movies. You should try out this place.

Average at best. Satay : not fully cooked Veg fried rice : more tomatoes than anything else Basil chicken : good Garlic green beans : ok A Diet Coke And the bill put us back $80... insanely prized.. Good service.. average food..

Average expensive food. Some dishes are tweaked to suit the American palate. We ordered basil chicken, Thai fried rice (vegan) and chicken satay. Chicken satay was undercooked. Won't go again. Better drive to Thai town to enjoy good Thai food.

Covid review - There is not dine-in option so it's all order to-go. Pad thai was just ok in my opinion and gets mushy in the container from the steam. If you're ordering pickup, I would suggest somehow pop open the lid of the container but you'd have to carefully transport your food. The summer fried rice is pretty good. Can't go wrong with the meat, egg, rice combo. It's not at all spicy until you add some of the sauce from the little container. That's where all the pepper heat is.

Very good. Nice ambiance, good service although you have to be patient. Had the beef panang curry and chicken satay. Both were excellent, but if you are sensitive to spice, ask for it mild ahead of time. The curry was creamy and multi flavored. The beef was cubed and clearly slow cooked so very good depth of flavor. Definitely planning to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Honestly was one of my favorite tom khas and pad thais in the city - fresh, fresh ingredients, light but tasty. The last 2 times I ordered, they messed up - to the tune of not changing chance to shrimp which I paid a pretty penny for. tonight the tom kha was not only the wrong spice level, it tastes as if it were made without coconut milk. The pad thai is dry and the chicken is the texture of leather must be new owners :(

I really like this place, you can dine in or take out. The dining room is small but we've never had an issue with getting a table. Service is always good. I love pretty much all of their dishes to be honest.

Summer Buffalo is great spot for Thai food in Burbank. The food is decently priced with most dishes at about $10. They don't compromise on the quality of the food nor on the portion size. We tried the chicken satay,green dumpling with curry sauce and the Pad Kee Mau. The satay was cooked to perfection! The green curry sauce was creamy and delicious. The Pad Kee Mau (drunken noodles) was good too. Definitely a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. They currently have outdoor seating and pick up. The service was prompt and friendly. Parking is available on the streets.

Super cute find here in Burbank! Easy to miss but definitely worth a visit. I love the aesthetics inside and the food was great too. Good chicken satay and roti and the serving size for the pad Thai was huge, not to mention reasonably priced.

After a long day at Universal,we wanted to find a place for dinner close to our hotel. We love Thai food and this fit the bill. It was terrific. A small, quaint place with excellent food and cheery service. The Pad Thai was delicious. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite Thai Restaurants in Los Angeles. The take out is fantastic, comes hot, and translates really well when you get home. The location is great and central. Easy service and good attitudes.

Got a dinner order to go yesterday from Summer Buffalo and it was great... food tasted fresh and just plain good... was ready on time and hot when i got home. Got the fried rice, pad see you, orange chicken and a few other things. The perfect thing if you don't want to cook dinner.

Always a very good option when I'm craving Thai food. Their Tom Yum soup made me fall in love, I get it every time. The curry has a good spicy kick, as well. Also some great drink options, both non-alcoholic and alcohol! The option for outdoor seating is also nice when the weather is good. And of course the customer service is good and food is made fast. Recommend over the multitude of restaurants in the glendale/burbank area.

First time in this restaurant and my family had an outstanding meal. The decor is really charming, service was excellent and we ordered multiple dishes and shared them family style. Everything was incredibly delicious and we had a great time. The noodle dishes we ordered were off the charts yummy. Definitely plan to return soon.

One of my favorite go to thai food restaurants. The ambiance is cozy with small seating space, but the food and service are great. We go here regularly and enjoy it very much. The noodles, pad see you, summer fried rice, and orange chicken are delicious.
