I was like a little fan when I saw the chef-owner at the hostess stand. I came to know about him through his travel documentary, The Great Escapade years ago. I love the restaurant ambience, cozy and whimsical. The food was flavorful and solidly good, not what I would usually think of French food. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Both of us could only manage the starters and end nicely with the banana bread dessert. It was a pleasant surprise that they notice the reservation was for a birthday celebration and dress up our dessert. Nowadays, most restaurants don’t bother about that, more so comp it. Such a wonderful gesture. I appreciate it very much. Thank you! And of coz, great service and friendly, attentive staff. I must remember to come back again and again to support this local business!
