We tried 2 deserts and both were spectacular. The mango strawberry shaved ice was amazing and the fruits fresh. Ver chill vibe and worth every penny for these delicious treats.

This is an adorable dessert spot in Hollywood. Got the matcha snow ice. The matcha flavor is definitely packing and not overly sweet. The menu has a large selection of add on toppings and sides. Staff is very friendly. Recommend this place if you looking for something different.

This is hands down the best dessert spot in town! Their shaved ice is light, refreshing, and comes with a variety of delicious options. The newly improved version is even better than before—softer, flakier, and absolutely delightful. It’s a healthy treat, loaded with fresh fruits and not overly sweet, making it perfect for a guilt-free indulgence. While the amount or quality of fruit can vary slightly at times, the overall consistency and quality are impressive. We come here almost every week, and it’s easily our favorite go-to dessert spot! Our favorite is definitely the mango, strawberry and coconut. But tbh all of them are great.

This was one of the best shaved ice I’ve had in a while, we went today and there was a group of like 20 people a head of us, so we calmly waited because we noticed there was only two workers at the moment. We understood the wait time and others were impatient. I’d give this place a 10/10! If you want a really good shaved ice, It’s worth the wait!

I love bingsu, and the strawberry mango one was delicious. The mochi bites and red bean are a nice texture change. If I got one again, I'd stick to a full mango one just for my own preference, but the strawberry was also refreshing. At the bottom is egg pudding! They serve free hot black tea, which helps to keep brain freeze at bay. The business provides a self-serve kiosk, which made the ordering process efficient.

Is it bad that I liked this kakigori more than the one I had in Kyoto? This was so yummy and the pudding at the bottom is a really nice touch.

Used to be better before they changed the quality of ingredients. Now the syrup with the fruit is too sweet and not incorporated as it used to be. Was a 4-5 star place. Definitely 2-3 stars now… sad day

Worth the drive, favorite one is the Taro. Make sure to try their tea and get the side of condense milk. Great price for the amount of ice cream you get is delish

Disappointed, but not flavorless. After seeing all the dreamy pics and rave reviews (most of which, I noticed, were from over a year ago), my wife and I decided to check this spot out during my birthday weekend. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. We walked in on a Saturday midday to... crickets. The place was completely empty, and the vibe was kind of lifeless. The young woman at the counter looked like we woke her up from a nap. Her greeting--and answers to our menu questions--were less than enthusiastic. We ordered a small taro ice, expecting the vibrant presentation we saw in all those Instagram-worthy photos. Instead, we got a plain paper bowl with shaved ice, a thin layer of cheese foam, and no toppings in sight. Definitely not what's advertised. When we asked, the explanation was: "Oh, the small one doesn't come with all that." Followed by, "The toppings are inside." Not exactly the customer service magic you hope for. But here's the twist: the taro ice actually tasted really good. Creamy, flavorful, and with just the right balance of sweetness. It could've used more cheese foam and some of the toppings on top (like..you know, the taro powder maybe) but the flavor itself saved this from being a one-star review. Sadly, the poor service, lackluster attitude, and zero effort to address our concern left a sour taste. We left more bummed than satisfied. Overall: 2 stars. Great flavor, but the experience and presentation? Not so sweet. Wouldn't go out of my way to stop in again.

Tried Summer Love Ice House for the first time and got the Matcha Dance Shaved Ice, it was super refreshing and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The portion was huge, definitely enough for 3-4 people to share. The texture was light and fluffy, and the matcha flavor was spot on. Honestly, such a great treat for a hot day. Would 100% go back to try more!!

Been here a few times and the concept and experience is unique. Summer Love Ice House opened in May 2023. I remember hearing about it when it first opened because it was all over my social media. The place was almost viral at the time. They are located on Hollywood Boulevard in the Presidential Plaza. Close to Hollywood City Hall and the Hollywood Library. Consider this an elevated shaved ice experience. Or I like to say bougie AF shaved ice. Lol. They offer a variety of unique flavors including * Taro Taro * Mango * Oreo Tiramisu * Matcha Dance * Pineapple Paradise * Strawberry * Coconut Cloud * Brown Sugar Forest * Peanut Pool * Canta Coco The shaved ice is so fluffy and light. The presentation is absolutely beautiful with so much attention to details. It's an art form. The shaved ice is served with little sides of toppings that include mochi, tapioca pearls, milk tea and condensed milk brown sugar syrup. The shaved ice itself isn't very sweet which is perfect. They have fillings of red beans, mochi and milk pudding once you get inside. If you want to add more texture or sweetness, that's where the sides come in. Make it your own. I've had the Taro Taro, Mango and Coconut Cloud. All three flavors are absolutely yummy. The taro is my favorite. Because taro! I want to try the pineapple and Oreo tiramisu. These are a tad pricey at $13.95 and $14.95 each pending on flavor option. But considering how much love and effort goes into each shaved ice presentation, it's worth it for a special treat. Also keep in mind these take time to pit together so please be patient. Staff is nice and do their best to hustle. This place gets busy on the weekends. If you go during the day, it's not bad. Check them out for a unique experience! Love this because it's different.

I've come here twice now and I've loved it! The shaved ice is always aesthetically appealing but more importantly I love how it tastes by itself and altogether with the toppings. The ice has that smooth texture that I really like too. The complimentary tea is nice with the warm and nutty tone--it pairs well with the shaved ice. The staff are nice. The ambience is clean and comfortable. Parking is widely available as it's located in a plaza. This is my favorite shaved ice in the area! I'll definitely be back if I'm nearby.

Nicely made drinks and the boba was fresh - great consistency. I think they can elevate the experience with charging stations and simple board games. It's very bare inside. The screens for the menu do not work and you order from the kiosk. Makes it a bit impersonal but it's efficient.

Arrived right before closing. The website said 10pm, but their door said 9:30pm. Showed up at 9:20 and they served us without hesitation. A couple of men arrived shortly after and were served as well. We had the Mango & Coconut and it was delicious. Sweet, but not too sweet and the sauces on the side allow you to customize it how you like. Lastly, the entire place was very clean and welcoming. I would happily stop by again!

I had been dying to try their shaved ice for a while and the reviews seemed promising. We came in on a Sunday early evening- upon entering you see a huge digital ordering kiosk that says "order here", we didn't know and ordered. The menu doesn't fully describe what the shaved ice dishes have and what flavors you'll be receiving. For some you get to pick the two sides and others it just comes with the things. It was hard to pick small or large without knowing. I would have loved to see a more detailed menu or the staff to have asked "is it your first time? Anything we can help you with?" We decided on the taro and the Oreo shaved ice. The Oreo had option to choose two toppings and the taro did not. I felt the flavors were very very light and mostly water. I'd like to go back and try one of the fruit ones to see if the flavor would be stronger. The presentation of the dishes was great and the place seemed very clean.

Possibly my favorite place in South Florida for Asian dessert! The Korean style ice is amazing and they also offer nice boba and smoothie type drinks. Our mango bing su was so good. It came with an assortment of toppings and everything was very good quality. The portion was huge and with three people sharing we were still plenty satisfied. The space itself is very nice and spacious and the people working were nice. It's completely worth a visit and I can't wait to go back!

I've had this place bookmarked for about a year and was finally in town again to try it! We got the small mango/strawberry ice and it was amazingggg. Went into it thinking we just wanted to try a few bites, but it was so light & delicious we wish we would've gotten the large lol. Can't wait to come back!

I came here for a pick-me-up, and I kind of wish I didn't. Not because the bingsu isn't good, because it is. Fruit ones are absolutely delicious and wonderful. They even have smalls now, so there are more options for everyone (yay)! Unfortunately, my experience with the service has not been the best. I asked a couple of questions to about the menu items and about sides we can order. There is no menu detailing what comes on the side or sides you can order, so you kind of have to ask (they changed it, so unsweetened mochi is no longer around, etc). Though I apologized for asking questions, it seemed like I was bothering the server and annoying them by asking mostly anything. She even told me they stopped having things I asked about for over a year now, which I saw on here that that's not true. The item in question was still around 29 days ago. This isn't the first time I had an unpleasant experience here, which is not fun. This is a great shaved ice place and I would love to keep coming here. Ultimately, my visit was soured. Overall, I still think this place has great shaved ice. But if you're someone who gets nervous or asks a lot of questions, I would tell you to go elsewhere. It's not fun to feel like a bother at a place you're spending money at.

It makes me so sad to write an update review but since coming at the beginning of Oct 2024, they have changed how they serve and make the bingsoo. The shave ice is not as creamy as it was before and they've taken away the complementary sides + any toppings inside the dessert. I understand that the sides can be a big loss if people weren't using them, but it was surprising to see that they no longer add toppings inside the dessert without posting any signage about it. The 4 times we went before they changed the product, each bingsoo came with at least some mochi inside but now it's just fruit. Again, that's fine, I just wish they would alert customers about the change in the store! Overall, it was just a bit shocking to see the store change its product so quickly and have a stark difference between what it was and what it is now. The changes have decreased the quality which is sad because this place was SO GOOD.

Just wanted give a huge shoutout to the management and staff, of Summer love ice house. My family and I wanted to have Boba, and we had more than just boba. We had coconut shaved cream, which was so tasty. I totally recommend it, with the different toppings and the complimentary tea, was just delightful. My kids also had brown sugar boba, and they absolutely loved it !

The PERFECT treat for the summer but also anytime! Finally got to stop by and try out Summer Love Ice House when I was in the Hollywood area and it was the best decision after a beach day. This is in an unsuspecting plaza right before getting to the big roundabout on Hollywood Blvd when you're heading West from the beach. Very easy to navigate to and plenty of parking in the plaza. It wasn't busy at all at noon on a Saturday and the staff was friendly and pretty helpful. The menu has a lot of choices and each flavor sounded good. We did have to ask what was in each of the shaved ice and I wish there was a description somewhere of each but, overall, didn't take long for her to describe each. We ended up ordering the mango and it was soooooo good. I am not much of a fruit dessert person but this was amazing. The perfect amount of sweetness and I love the platter it came on. The shaved ice consisted of the dessert dish and little sides of boba (both brown sugar and crystal), tea, and little cups of milk and more syrup. For toppings for the mango, it might not look like much but wait til you get to the middle and bottom. It's like a gift that keeps on giving. So excited to come back when I'm in the area to try out more flavors!!

Please give this place a try. It was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and organized. They have a kiosk were you order you shaved ice bowl. I went for the mango one and it was amazing. The mango tasted so fresh and it was overly sweet. They have many varieties of fruit flavors. They also offer warm tea if you get cold.

An absolute MUST TRY!!! Just look at how beautiful these treats are! Now imagine that they taste 3x as delicious and filling. We had the UBE, mango, slushy, and tea. Let's just say we gave it a valid and well rounded taste test. If you want the best treats, come to summer love ice house stat!

I never go out of my way for "just dessert." Usually I'll order something at the restaurant I am at, or go to the grocery store. Whatever is convenient. Once I discovered Summer Love - my husband and I could be in Miami or down the street, but once we crave it we almost always go. It is so unique for us here in South FL. It's indulgent but light because of the shaved ice and salted cream. You have an amazing amount of options including coconut pretzel, Oreo tiramisu, and peanut butter. PLUS that warm cup of tea to finish it all off, it's perfect. It's counter service, very casual interior. They are open later than some other dessert options. What a great addition to Hollywood.

Still delicious and SO yummy. With nearly 5 stars, you will not be disappointed with Summer Love Ice House! Taro: the shaved ice is mild in flavor but inside has fresh taro paste along with jelly Strawberry: refreshing milky shaved ice with strawberry jelly and mochi inside Canta coco: coconut shaved ice with jelly inside and melon I really want to try every flavor but I always taro when I go in. Maybe I just have to go more often!

I really enjoyed how light snow ice is and it was definitely full of flavor. The matcha complemented the red bean sauce, however, I wish they had added more because the matcha was not sweet. The matcha cheesecake was surprisingly good, not as filling as I had thought. Overall, the snow ice was not as sweet as regular ice cream. The only thing that would make it overly sweet is the syrup and the fruits.

This place was seriously a 10/10! So, 9 years ago, I visited Korea and the locals there took me to a great spot to get "patbingsu". It was a delicious and refreshing shaved ice treat with all these extravagant and fresh toppings. I have been looking for somewhere that compares to this amazing dessert I tried long ago that wasn't so far away. I am so happy to report that the shaved iced combos they have here are matched with the amazing ones I tried halfway across the world. We ordered the mango, which is said to be the most popular. It did NOT disappoint. Me and the hubs DEVOURED it. There was fresh mango on top and hidden under the ice and they served it with fun toppings on the side, like boba, sweetened condensed milk, even black tea which was a surprisingly satisfying pairing. And what was great about the fruit is that I could tell that it was in season & fresh. It didn't taste like the barely-there frozen mango they put in smoothies. It was sweet, soft, not hard, The place itself is very clean and modern and it was relatively quiet when we stopped in. The owner was super sweet and accomodating. She let us know that their establishment is serving Taiwanese style shaved ice. She recommended that we try the taro next time and that's exactly what I'll do. Since going, we've talked about it everyday and are already planning our next return. It was seriously soooo good.

Went here for dessert with my girlfriend. We were recommended to share the shaved ice and I'm glad we went with the recommendation as it's humongous! We went with the taro taro which comes with milk, some brown sugar syrup, tapioca, red bean paste, coconut jelly and some other things. We added brownie bits to add to it. It also comes with a hot tea which I think is for when you get brain freeze you can drink it. The service was nice when we ordered, helping us with any questions we had and transparent on how the menu worked. The place is small and cute as well. As for the shaved ice itself, it was delicious! We ate it through being full (we had lunch earlier) because of how good it is. This is definitely a place I'd go to again and recommend!

A lovely cafe setting serving Bingsoo and bubble tea. They have plenty of different flavors, many unique like pineapple, peanut, and Oreo tiramisu. The only difficulty is that the bowls are a little small, so most of the toppings are put on the side like the syrup water, condensed milk, crystal pearls, taro, and other jellies. Each bowl also comes with a cup of hot black tea too!Certain shaved ice bowls also have red beans and mochi inside. Their teas have multiple types of toppings, and you can add milk to any of their teas. Their pearls are quite tasty and they have non-dairy options like oat milk. The staff are very friendly, helping to explain all the options, and the space is quite open and well-lit with plenty of tables and dining space.

The establishment was clean, organized and had a cute vibe to it. Service was fantastic, the lady at the front was helpful and gave suggestions on best sellers and flavors to get as it was our first time. They also have other things on the menu if you're not too keen on the shaved ice. Can't wait to come back again!

What a fun experience! Came with a friend and shared an ice cream and drink. We wanted the Taro one but they were out so we had the coco cantaloupe. It was huge! And delicious! Not overly sweet and we kept getting surprised on ingredients inside. We also had the avocado almond yogurt slush which we absolutely loved. Making us want to have another to go! The place is super cute and service was great. She knew exactly what to suggest and was super helpful explaining everything to us. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Absolutely delicious! Not only is the service great here but the shaved ice is incredible! I tried the mango and it was perfectly sweet and creamy, I definitely want to try the strawberry next time. I had one their strawberry yogurt drink and I wasn't a huge fan unfortunately. It just didn't have that much flavor at all and it's not something I would order again. But I definitely want to try all the shaved ice cream This is located in a plaza with plenty of free parking

It's been a while since my last visit. They have extended their menu with yogurt drinks and boba tea options. The shaved ices are still my favorite. Service is promptly and the shop remained well taken care of

We got the strawberry shaved ice (played it safe for my daughter) and it was so good and refreshing!! The filling is a jelly, I think a thick custard. The sides are so fun to add into the ice, and the tea helps with warming up your cold mouth! My daughter was having so much fun with the music that was being played, and the woman who served us was super nice, helpful and friendly!!! Will definitely return to try more flavors.

What a lovely place to get shaved snow. This is shaved snow, deluxe style. Instead of coming just in a paper bowl, this one is set on a wooden tray, with metal spoons, syrup and milk, bubbles and mochi, as well as a cup of hot tea to warm you up! Do try to bring a friend or two along, as the portion is really huge. It's priced at about $16 for a shaved snow to give you some idea it's not your average ice cream cup. This one is served in almost like a ramen bowl!! I do wish they have smaller portions, for when I am dining solo and can't finish the whole thing. They have quite a few choices, though I wish the menu provides a bit more description as to what's included in each option. I ordered the matcha, which was a bit on the bland side, but I'll like to be back to try their other flavors.

Want to try something totally different from your usual shaved ice or snow cones? Come here and try theirs. This is exactly like the shaved ice found in Taiwan. It's a fluffy, melt in your mouth delight. We trekked all the way from Miami to try it out and it didn't disappoint. We chose the Taro Taro and it was bite after bite of deliciousness! They present it to you in the cutest form, accompanied with tapioca ,tea and some syrups. Hidden inside the mountain of ice you will find milk pudding, red beans and taro pieces. The place itself is also super cute and clean. Highly recommended!

Yummmy!! I came across this place because my cousin told me about and said we had to try it! If any of you love snow ice with a hint of sweetness this dessert place is it. What I enjoy about this dessert is how it melts in your mouth. It reminds me a bit of a slushee. I would definitely come back to try their other options when I am in the area. I would l I like their concept of having these little sides to top it off with the snow ice. We ordered the matcha snow ice, and that was enough for 3 people. The green tea at the end really warms your heart as you are finishing up your dessert. Each plate of dessert is about $15+, however, it is worth it because it comes with a variety of sides to put on top of your snow ice, for example, the mochi, the tapioca, the jelly, and condensed milk which was tasty! Just a side note.. This place has a lot of parking at night, however it is a bit sketchy at night. So, to be safe, I would rather go a bit earlier..

This place is super cute and very clean. We were looking for traditional "shaved ice" and we found this place. We had no clue what we were ordering and we were very confused by the menu. We asked lots of questions but the person taking our order wasn't helpful in explaining the menu or what we were getting. We were completely shocked by what we got. If you are looking for a traditional shaved ice, this is not the place. This is shaved ice meets ice cream and boba! It was a unique experience and the presentation is amazing, it was just not what we wanted, but definitely worth a try. The portions are shareable, so I suggest bringing a friend!

As you can tell with all my photos and videos, I've been here plenty of times and now I've proudly tried half the menu to share a thorough review! AND for a bonus tip, I'll share a great HACK at the end... (And yes, I am determined to try the other half of the menu... so maybe expect an updated review lol) For starters, I absolutely LOVE the presentation. What I truly appreciate about this dessert is that everything is on the side so you can add any of the toppings to your liking. OR you can just pick on the toppings on your own. Allowing customers to customize their own bingsoo experience really elevates the fun in enjoying this treat! Each flavor is unique in its own way, with its own toppings and sauces. If you want something super light, Coconut Cloud feels very light! Want to indulge in something rich and sweet? Oreo Tiramisu! Want something that's in between? Taro is the way to go! Want something less sweet but strong? Matcha! And any of the fruit ones like Strawberry, Mango, or Coco Canto (cantaloupe) are great for those who want some refreshing fruit in the mix! (They also recently came out with Pineapple soooooo I need to try that along with the other flavors I've yet to try!) I haven't had a flavor I didn't like yet; heck, I even enjoyed the Coconut one and I don't like coconuts LOL. So it's safe to say you can't go wrong with any of them -- just gotta follow your craving! Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable with their menu and taste profiles. Talk about hot and humid in Florida. So I wanted to get some Shave Ice and I remember a friend visiting this place often, and we just had to try! It is a small, quaint, chill location. Not a busy plaza or parking lot - right in the heart of Hollywood. There's not much decor around the walls, but they do play good music, and there are a few options for seating. The menu is small, because their specialty is only shave ice, but their flavors are spectacular and they had a special flavor going on - which was pandan! It was our first time, so I asked about favorites and the woman at the cashier said what everyone has been reviewing about - you can't go wrong with any flavor. They were really nice in taking the time to answer my questions - thankfully no one was waiting behind me. And they were kind enough to explain to us how to enjoy our dessert! We ended up choosing the mango - per usual (it's the hubby's favorite flavor everywhere). The difference with their shave ice is that within their base, they have a pudding! Other places would use syrup with fruits. But the pudding was a nice, refreshing surprise. On top was a tarty mango syrup with some mango slices, and two pretzels. Your shave ice is paired with sweetness accents/sides like tapioca sauce, crystal boba, and mochi. The dessert is also paired with a nice warm cup of tea for balance! I loved that. I was really impressed with how satisfying the sweetness level was. It wasn't too sweet, which sometimes after eating a shave ice it can be a little too much. So I appreciated that. But I would've enjoyed more mango sauce lol so I'll ask for some extra next time. It was really good. We like tart!

So so so good! This place is the ultimate "GOOD" and light dessert place I have been looking for. Just the right amount of sweets all from natural ingredients such as fruits and teas, and I never feel sick after having their desserts. Like seriously, everyone should try.

Never have I ever had something so dreamy and delicious in my life! I cannot say enough positive things about summer love ice house! After reading the 5 star reviews I had to try it for myself. We ordered the mango flavor and it was definitely up there in the top 5 desserts of my life! It was so refreshing, light and flavorful. The bowl came with Taro bites, crystal boba and mango jam. The textures were really unique. I cannot wait to try the other flavors!

If you're looking for a legit shaved ice place, look no further. The interior was clean and inviting. Staff there was very friendly and helped us with questions we had on how to order. The beautiful full display of the dessert was definitely thought out well and IG friendly. We tried the Oreo tiramisu shaved ice and the taro shaved ice. Both really yummy and not overly sweet. I loved how there was milk pudding and red bean hidden in the middle. What a nice surprise!

The best place to grab something sweet! I adore the concept of this place and the taste is also amazing! Definitely a must try for something that isn't typical nor easy to find!! The tea being served is a great touch as many suffer from a mild cough after eating something cold which is great!

Relatively new spot! After Hanji/Sweet tooth closed down in Davie, I have been on the search for the next best asian style shaved iced dessert shop in South Florida to fill that craving. This definitely checks all my boxes and then some. The next best place I can think of is the Japow cart in the design district; however, this takes the cake by orders of magnitude. The shaved ice is like light, flavorful, and refreshing! That's not all though, once you reach the middle you are greeted by the perfect accompaniment of puddings, fruits, mochi, etc. Each dessert comes as a set including tea, mochi, boba, brown sugar syrup, and cream with slight variations depending on the specific flavor you order. Seriously - if you are fan of frozen desserts, this place should be the next place you try.

Been here a few times already and I am in love! Every single flavor we have tried have been absolutely delicious and the best part- it's not too sweet (this is an ultimate Asian compliment for any dessert) ! They offer a wide variety of flavors with delightful toppings with red bean and milk pudding on the inside. The shaved ice is so soft and fluffy and every bite is perfection. Service is great, the employees answer any questions you may have about their menu and can suggest options if you're not sure on what to get. When you receive your order, it also comes with a little card that explains how to create your little milk tea with condensed milk and caramel provided. Definately will be visiting this cute shaved ice shop again to try all of their flavors!

The place is very clean and well lit which goes along with the aesthetic of the dessert. I enjoy how they made the time to think out the additional toppings and place them in their own dishware so the customer can choose the quantity they want to place on the shaved ice. The tea is a nice palate cleanser and contrast to the sweetness of the dessert! Would definitely recommend trying this place out if you're in the area or nearby, as i don't believe there's anything else like it!
