Barista and servers were really nice, even the clientele were friendly. I really liked the flavor of the coffee drip coffee with a bit of sweet milk... much better than coffee found at a nearby competitor. Super easy to find. Parking is a little tight due to it being so popular for meetups, working, sitting outside and watching the world go by. I will definitely be returning for coffee when I'm shopping. HEB or one of the other stores in the adjacent Mall.

Today was my first visit. I tried the Mocha Half Moon and the Blueberry Muffin. Personally, not over the moon about the Mocha. It isn't bad! Just not my alley. The blueberry muffin had inconsistency with baking. I am going to write it off as a one off and try again another day! It has a relaxing environment with cute little quirks. Merch and coffee grounds available for purchase also.

Great coffee, fast service, and a chill vibe. The Moon Milk is always a favorite—sweet, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Staff is friendly and the space is clean with plenty of seating. Easy stop off 1431 and never a hassle to park. Always worth the visit.

I had summer moon coffee at so many locations but this coffee doesn’t taste same other summer locations. I didn’t like it in this location.

This is a very cute café in round rock. They have decent seating Space. It’s mostly tables and chairs and there are a few bar chair seats as well. The vibe is very cute and pleasant. I got the half moon lavender warm latte. It was definitely very sweet because of the moon milk but still a very enjoyable warm beverage. I’ll be sure to get a quarter moon milk next time so that it’s not quite as sweet. The barista did say that for people who are new to this café they usually recommend starting off with quarter or half moon milk so that you’re not overwhelmed with how sweet the cream milk is (Summermoon milk is their own concoction with milk and sweet cream). There are lots of cold iced as well as warm coffee, beverage options on the menu. Service was polite and quick, although it was not at all crowded when we went on a Saturday evening.

Awesome cold brew that never disappoints. This place has become our family go-to, always welcoming with the kids. We'll miss Karina who made the best kids hot chocolate, but Katie remembers our orders perfectly and always greets us with sincere warmth. Zwein is equally awesome - all the staff here deserves praise. The sea salt chocolate chip cookies are absolutely to die for. What keeps us coming back beyond the great coffee and treats is the intimate, friendly environment. Everyone greets us when we walk in, remembers our names, and sends us off with genuine well wishes. Perfect neighborhood spot that makes you feel like part of the family.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Matthew helped me and he was very kind and informative and really made the experience much better than I’ve had at any coffee shop in a long time. You can tell he really cares about people and is genuinely a great guy. I live over an hour away from this store and I’d come back just to hang with Matthew!

The coffee I got was very tasty. I would go again if only to better understand the menu. It's not that it's complicated, it's more like there is a myriad of selections to make, I'd like to know how much I can customize my drink next time. Very fun!

Driving by this coffee shop, I just had to try it! The store front and the name of the shop totally caught my attention, and OH BOY! It did not disappoint! When walking in, there are plenty of tables to sit at. Everything was clean, organized, and the vibes were just overall aesthetically pleasing. I ordered an Iced Matcha Moon Milk Latte, which was probably one of the best drinks I've ever tasted in my life! The moon milk was so sweet and creamy. The taste it gave off was almost like fruity cereal milk with a hint of bananas. The matcha still had a nice warm earthy taste and the moon milk did not overpower the green tea flavor at all. Now that I'm home, I'm so sad that my drink is gone. I will definitely have to try the Moon Milk Espresso Latte next time!

I haven't had a single sip of this latte yet...disappointing to pay $7+ for a latte and be missing a 1/4 of it. I've been going to summermoon for the last few years in the RR location and it's been slowly going downhill. Most recently is this issue, giving me less coffee than what I pay for. Not sure if the staff is being told to pour lattes like this, but if I wanted a cappuccino I would've ordered one.

Excellent work lately. All the drinks are getting more consistent and I am excited to get drinks here once again because I know I the product consistency is high. Please keep It up.

Thursday 10AM Seasonal brew of the month drip coffee was alright (12 oz for $2.70), it was an autumn medium roast but tasted light, I prefer a bolder brew. Baked goods were horrid though, the croissant was stale and inedible, the pumpkin cream cheese muffin was bland and boring. Not worth the cals. Aesthetically nice but not my cup of joe.

Love their oak roasted coffee. Summer Moon has quickly become my favorite coffee spot. Each location is beautiful.

This is the best coffee I have found in Austin so far! Their fall drinks are incredible and their moon milk is delightfully creamy and sweet! It was very busy in there yet the staff were very helpful and upbeat! The ambiance was moderately loud and got louder as time went on. I came here with my bestie and we were both huge fans of our drinks! This is worth the effort of coming here! Parking was easy to find since it's in a huge shopping center. They also serve breakfast tacos here. I got one and it did not disappoint! I will be back soon :)

This specific location is ranking in a little lower for me. I have been a fan of summer moons seasonal flavors since I moved to Texas. We were super excited to get their Roasted Chestnut Latte today and we were disappointed. We waited 20 min once ordering for our coffees, and the lattes were Luke warm at best and had minimal flavor. They mostly tasted like milk. I've had great lattes from their other locations so I was sad to say the least after driving this way. The inside was very crowded, but that's expected. Wouldn't say it's a spot to come study bc of the noise and the crowds. I miss my Belton location! No drive thru

Love this oak roasted coffee, any time I'm near one, have to stop and grab a cup! Love the "woody" taste of the hot coffees, although this time my youngest and I were in the mood for cold and sweet but not ice cream. So what else is there for two coffee liking yelpers... Expresso Milkshakes!! They do not disappoint, and the staff is amazing and free Wifi and nice atmosphere. Give them a try, it's not a Starbucks... it's good!!!

Always a pleasure to come to Summer Moon for a cold brew! Great service with a smile, cool vibe inside, what's not to love! The cold brew is consistently excellent, and I love getting an extra one to go for later!

First time trying Summer Moon! I got the summer moon milk mocha latte. It was very good! Rich mocha flavor so I knew the caffeine would keep me awake. The inside is cute and fairly spacious. Cashier was helpful and attentive. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. I wanna try their other drinks too.

I want coffee I want coffee I want coffee I want coffee Summer moon makes all my blue days go away...after a hard day I brought my daughters here for a treat and my youngest immediately dropped her beverage on the floor. I went into Mom mode to try and clean it up and the employee jumped right into action and made her another drink and told me not to worry about the mess. I didn't get her name but I just have to shout them out because the act of kindness really made my day. I was ready to lose it and she was so sweet and stepped right in. I visit here frequently with my girls for after school snacks or just by myself to wrap up a long work day and I've always been given the best customer service but this day they went above and beyond. Thank you!!

Nice coffee and cool place! I have only had coffee there which is very good but the pastry looks fantastic! One of these days I will try them! Everyone in this location has always been nice and helpful! Great crew!

This is such a cute coffee spot, ambiance is perfect! The decor is nice! I tried the iced blue moon latte, and got an apple muffin. I'm definitely coming back here again!

When I'm not making coffee at home, Summer Moon is my go-to. This location is beautifully decorated, with plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and merchandise (coffee + clothes!) to buy. I usually order an iced 1/4 Winter Moon latte (espresso with 1/4 of their rich moon milk goodness). But today I tried an iced "dirty" matcha moon latte (matcha with added espresso) and wow! I loved it. If you love a lil extra caffeine, try adding espresso to your next matcha latte.

This is one of the smaller Summer Moons but it gets a lot of traffic and is in an excellent location. The baristas are friendly and offer solid suggestions if you're not sure what to get. I prefer the Summer Moon on Parmer just because it has more space to study and do work, but as far as Round Rock coffee shops, this is one of the best.

This was my first time visiting Summer Moon Coffee and it did not disappoint! The coffee shop vibe isn't quite as cozy as some locations I've been to, and isn't necessarily a place I'd recommend going to work remote or catch up with friends, but it was still very welcoming and the coffee itself is delicious! I ordered a non-dairy Blue Moon Latte with oak milk and it was the perfect balance of lavender and sweetness. This being my first time and not being as familiar with the latte variations and sweetness levels of the moon milk, I had everything explained to me and the barista was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my preference for a dairy-free beverage. They do not offer soy milk as a diary alternative, which is my usual go-to, but since so many people have soy allergies this isn't super uncommon. I ended up not needing any type of additional sugar or creamer - my latte was perfect! I'd definitely visit another Summer Moon location again and highly recommend checking them out! 11/10

I love summer moon but, admittedly, not all locations are created equally. This is probably my least favorite. It's definitely cute - the titles on the ceiling and the wallpaper in the bathroom are adorable - but the seating situation isn't ideal. The majority of tables are squished along the window and don't offer much room. Not all seats have a plus easily accessible. I love the "moon" coffee options and highly recommend. I had a chocolate croissant and it was pretty tasty. A little greasier and not a flaky as I'd like but definitely still enjoyable. Parking is easy. PARENTS: I would recommend coming if you have a stroller because the table seating doesn't really allow for a convenient spot to put it. There is a changing table in the BR.

I have been to this location more times than I can count. I have had many coffee selections from here and have yet to be disappointed. The last time I came in and sat down as opposed to taking the item to go, I did so with my Yelp Besties Xavier and Ro (I know, we hella cute in the photo for this review). The service here is always prompt, warm and efficient. I am so pleased that this location replaced the Starbucks that was here beforehand.

Walking to this place is really cool and in a great location, but the coffee was ok, it was too sweet and their pastries didn't taste fresh. Great customer service in all aspects.

This was just one of many visits to Summer Moon for me. This location is my treat to myself before or after visiting the doctor for being a real grown up. I typically get the half or quarter moon latte or blue moon because I like the sweet but still want it to taste like coffee. I like to bring out of town friends here too. My impossible to shop for sister loves their Moon Milk and Coffee scented candles which are a collab with Wild Susan. Staff is always friendly and the interior design and natural lighting are very relaxing.

Terrible customer service!! I have been getting the drip coffee here for 4 months since I've found this place. I've decided to stop coming here because they want to charge customers an extra $1.00 if you ask for a splash of cream or half/half in your coffee. Not sure why they charge extra for what other coffee shops include in the price. Btw, they don't always charge extra, which is the reason I kept coming.

I love Summer Moon, I drive to my local one in Temple everyday. Their coffee and espresso doesn't give me the jitters or cause anxiety. I do agree that with summer moon you never know what you're going to get each time--as depending on the barista, your drink will probably be slightly different. Every summer moon passes the vibe check in terms of decor and lounging areas. I'm specifically leaving this review because I visited the round rock location on Tuesday. Allison (not sure if that's how she spells her name) but she was the person that took my order. She's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. When someone is spending $11 on a drink at a gourmet WALK IN only coffee shop, I think it's safe to say that exceptional service is expected. I went to the counter to order my drink (which mind you, I order everyday at my local SM with no attitude given) and when I asked for a dirty moon chai, she gave the most annoyed face at the screen.. then I asked if it could be shaken.. then again, another irritated look at the screen with NO RESPONSE or acknowledgement to me. She proceeds to walk over to the male barista who was going to make the drink and in the most condescending way, "she wants her drink shaken " like I was such a bother. I get my drink.. I walk out. To notice that there is no espresso in my drink. So I go back in. She's standing at the pick up area. I say, "I just bought this and there is no espresso in it.." does she acknowledge or say "I'm so sorry" no. She rolls her eyes and says "okay." Then grabs the espresso and asks, "did you get 1 or 2 shots?" I said, 2. She proceeds to quickly splash about a TBS of espresso on the top of my drink and walks away. Wtf!? I then go and ask the sweet blonde girl what her name is.. the blonde girl responds "uhhh Allison?" And I say.. okay.. COOL. Because I wanted to leave this review. Whoever the manager is... let your people know that a simple be kind attitude would have been nice. Making a customer feel like their order is so annoying or complicated is not customer service. Second, when you get it wrong.. fix it with joy and make it better. Don't just do the bare minimum with an attitude. I've been in customer service for 15 years and never have I ever treated anyone the way Allison did. Of course she'll probably play it off like she wasn't rude but trust.. she was. Allison when you read this, you know what you did.. I hope you learn your lesson and no other customer feels the way you made me feel that day! P.s. im not a mean human. I came in with the biggest smile and polite manner which makes it that much worse!

I love this place, the service is great, the employees are super personable and so accommodating! My first time in here and I was offered samples of moon milk to ensure I understood what it was and how much of the moon milk I would prefer in my drink! I got the Autumn latte and it was EXCELLENT! it's a cute small little shop that gives very much local and small vibes but in reality is a franchise but the vibe is so welcoming and warm! I would recommend for anyone to come pop in and try a yummy latte with some deliciously sweet moon milk!

One of my favorite "chain" coffee shops in Texas. The iced lattes always taste impeccable and I love their coffee. I usually get the half or quarter moon latte because the calories of the full one is pretty high. Wish it was more affordable but it's a good iced coffee

Yum, yum, yum. Their Espresso milkshake is addictive! Lattes are great too! Will opt to support them any and every time as their coffees are so much better compared to the larger chains:) Wish you guys were in more states!

This Summer Moon is on my top 3 coffee shop spots near me. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they did mess up my drink once but they were super busy and still offered to make me a new one. Haven't been in a bit but one of my favorites was their iced blueberry latte half sweet with oat milk so damn good. They also have a vegan version of their moon milk. Their pop tarts and other pastries are vegan. The dark pink pop tart is super yummy . Definitely worth checking them out!

I typically love Summer Moon. I have a location near me in Fort Worth and their coffee and pastries are spot on. However, I was traveling with two women and we just stopped in this Austin area location. The store was clean, the line was pretty quick and employees seemed friendly. As for the items we purchased, our experience quickly turned sour. My half-moon was great, my sister's cinna-moon was great, but my mom's regular coffee was bitter and she ended up trashing it. We ALL THREE orders a pastry (2 raspberry danishes and a plain croissant) and we took one bit of each and trashed them all. They were DAYS old. I mean, daaaaays old. My mom went to the counter and told an employee that our pastries were stale and they just nodded and trashed them for us. We are now across the street at HEB because I know they'll have fresh items.

Love the mocha here, it's on my top 3 of best coffee. Some may not like it, like my sister saying it's too sweet. But not for free. It's just right. The place is nice to sit down and chat , especially in the mornings when the sun hits.

I am not a coffee lover, but here I am. Tbh, I could not tell you good coffee from bad coffee, but my bf who is slowly becoming a coffee connoisseur really enjoys the cortado here! So, if you're looking for coffee there's your recommendation! Me? I am here to review the H U G E Cinnamon Roll they have in their pastry section. It is Texas sized sweet cinnamony deliciousness that is extra yummy when warmed up in the microwave for a few seconds. I highly recommend visiting just for that tasty treat. Oh... and the coffee too!

I love their moon milk! It's cream with special secret spices and makes the coffee taste so good! I went twice recently and on my second visit I learned you can buy a pint of the moon milk, which I did and have been putting it in my cold brew & americanos at home. It's gonna be a fridge staple! Both times I got a decaf iced latte with a "whisper" of moon milk. Whisper meaning just a splash. They have their own fun terminology here. The iced drinks are summer moons and hot drinks are winter moons. The decor is so fun & trendy, and the service is great. It's got a lot of seating options but stays pretty busy. I saw lots of people working on laptops during both visits, once was in the morning and the other was in the afternoon. There's a good variety of baked goods, including Bougie donuts & Texas Bakery muffins. Also various sweet & savory croissants. Parking is a bit busy because it's in a strip mall with lots of restaurants, services and also an H‑E‑B.

Ordered a Frozen Hot Chocolate - it was ok. But - they don't take cash, so I had to pull out a credit card. Since I only pay cash for incidentals, that was the one and only time I've been. It was good enough to consider going again, if they start allowing cash payments.

Being new to the area, I am trying out different coffee places. The interior was very clean and very little seating left. The menu was a little confusing. I ordered a latte and the clerk asked if this was my first time in the shop . He explained about their coffees and drinks and wood fired and so on.... It must have gone in one ear and out the other...‍ so I ordered what I thought would be the closest to what I think a Latte is which was a quarter something or the other. I also grabbed a cinnamon roll. I tasted the roll as I waited for my drink order. The roll was very delicious but would have been even better warmed up (not offered this option) received my drink and went to my car, (no seating left). The drink was good, but it was too much cream and not enough coffee, but still tasted good. I will be back and maybe pay attention more to the clerks description of the drinks. It's funny, being wood fire roasted, you would think there would be more of a smoky taste to the coffee... I will definitely go back and try to perfect my latte order..

This is my go to for some good espresso and this morning I stand in line for 10 minutes to be told the machine is broken. I am trying to understand how do you only have one machine in a coffee shop as busy as this one. And then no customer service or accommodation. There were no attempts at o offer something else!

We came at a time when it was very busy but the line went quickly. Great atmosphere and vibe. I ordered a autumn moon and my friend ordered a mocha moon. Both were great. Mocha moon thoughts are that is has a good balance of coffee and whatever else is in a mocha. From a person who is a coffee beginner, it is not overwhelming with coffee but it gets the taste buds dancing. Autumn moon thoughts are that this is perfect drink for fall. The spices in it make you feel like your throwing autumn leaves in your backyard. Yummy. Overall, we gave it 4 stars due to the tiny wait to get our drinks and the limited indoor seating due to how crowded it was. Although we did get to sit outside and it wasn't boiling.
