The Best Hotels in Paros, Greece

"Hidden among the back lanes that wind between farmland and orchards, water is a real theme at this hilltop property, with three large pools, split by a mix of bridges and waterfalls, and seascape vistas. The feel here, as is the norm for the Paros hospitality scene, is discerning, though the crowd—and the staff—have an altogether younger feel (perhaps because there are clubs and pool parties within walking distance). Clad in natural stone, the exterior here is softened by ornamental arrangements of sweet-smelling herbs and flowers. With 100 rooms and suites, Summer Senses Luxury Resort—a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World—is one of the larger properties on the island and its restaurant, Hytra, is a replica of the Michelin-starred restaurant by the same name that remains ever-popular in Athens. Address: Summer Senses, Punda Beach, Marpissa 844 00, Greece"

28 Editor-Recommended Greek Island Hotels

"The Paros escape One of Paros' more recent additions, Summer Senses Luxury Resort has 100 contemporary rooms ranging from deluxe hideouts to suites with private pools. Two large outdoor pools, a spa, and a fitness center are among the five-star offerings, with fine dining options including a collaboration with Michelin-starred Athens restaurant Hytra. The sandy stretches of Punda Beach, with its bars, DJs, and pool parties, is a three-minute walk away. Paros' lively capital Parikia can be reached by car in less than half an hour, with some of the most picturesque Cycladic villages just a stone’s throw away. At this get-away-from-it-all haven, guests are looked after with the utmost care and attention. Visitors are invited to drift from one temptation to the next—from an utterly restorative spa treatment to a bespoke cocktail by the pool with infinite views of the Aegean sea. A meal at fine dining restaurant Galazia Hytra is imperative, with generous yet refined modern dishes served in the most stunning setting under the Mediterranean stars. Each thoughtful detail at Summer Senses reflects the hotel’s commitment to offering the ultimate Cycladic island escape. The service is faultless and every feature is perfectly calibrated to ensure guests feel rested and refreshed. A true Grecian paradise. —Anna Gladwin" - Becky Lucas

Summer Senses Luxury Resort (Paros, Greek Islands) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The eastern coast of the Greek island of Paros is the setting for Summer Senses Luxury Resort, and as Cycladic island settings go it’s pretty typical — which is to say that by global standards it’s absolutely idyllic. Summer Senses, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is laid out like a luxe little village, its 100 rooms and suites distributed among a number of low-slung buildings that stretch terrace-style along the slope of a gentle hillside." - Tablet Hotels

Summer Senses Luxury Resort | Best places to stay in Paros

"A modern spin on traditional Cycladic architecture, this hilltop resort overlooks the Aegean. Built with local stone and marble, the boxy, 100-key resort spread across eleven buildings opened in 2019. Fragrant Mediterranean gardens surround two large, freeform swimming pools plus a children’s pool. There’s a small spa, sauna and gym for grown-ups, as well as two restaurants with a focus on fine dining, particularly at the inventive (and expensive) Galazia Hytra. But at heart this is a family resort, with a down-to-earth atmosphere. It’s a short walk to Pounta bay, with its kite surfing facilities and rowdy beach bars. " - Rachel Howard

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay Summer Senses. The property is beautiful and rooms are very nice. Amazing breakfast is included with your stay - this was a highlight everyday for us! The staff is incredible and goes above and beyond for you during your stay. We had an issue with one of our flights and they were extremely helpful and ready to assist us.||The location is a bit far from the main area of the island (Naousa) so reccomend renting a car to get around. Overall, we loved our stay and would return!!

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Summer Senses. The hotel property is beautifully situated over Pounda Beach. The pools were nice and the property is well maintained. Our room was small but nice - the power went out one evening, but the maintenance guy came quickly and fixed it in 2 minutes. Breakfast was very nice - great buffet as well as made to order items. We especially liked the concierge - they were very helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation. The only negative is that the restaurants were quite expensive relative to local options. While there is a high end restaurant, we generally want casual food on this laid back, beach oriented island.

My family had a wonderful stay at Summer Senses. ||The staff were absolutely incredible. Kind, attentive, helpful - they truly cared about making you feel like family and ensuring you have the best stay in Paros. ||The breakfast buffet was dangerously good with fresh local food. Every day we were full until dinner! ||Multiple pool options on the property which was nice as well as a short walk to a small beach. The bartender made me the best Margarita I’ve had EVER(I didn’t even have to micro-manage the drink order like I usually do!) ||The 10/10 service made my families entire stay so pleasant and unforgettable!! Mimi, Alex, Larissa, Natalia, Christina, Marvelous, THANK YOU from the Flynn Family!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay here. If you only stay at this hotel, I could understand it getting slightly boring. Drinks and food are very expensive but the breakfast is very nice. The place is windy and pools are cold if it isnt summer months so keep it in mind. You are a short walk to the beach (Punda Beach Club) which is very nice. Go on some excursions to other islands, local towns, or wineries. We would stay here again. Go to the spa also! Vicky was great!

A wonderful experience! The atmosphere is of course spectacular with views of Naxos and the Agean Sea. The staff were very professional and provide personalized attention. The food is five star. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. |The staff recommendations for activities were perfect. The beach is a quick walk down the hill. The gym is a bit small but has everything you need.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Summer Senses in Paros. It is an excellent choice for a luxury escape on the island. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout, especially when we had to extend our stay due to ferry cancellations caused by bad weather. The team went above and beyond to help us rebook and coordinate with the ferry company, which made a stressful situation much easier. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with great facilities and while the gym is small, it’s adequate for a quick workout. The location is ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat close to the beach. There are some lovely dining options just a short walk along the beach via the nearby beach club, though a car is essential if you want to explore more of the island. A nearby winery (about 15 minutes on foot) is well worth a visit. The only downside was the resort’s dining prices, which felt excessively high and something the hotel should consider reviewing. That said, we were pleasantly surprised after reading some mixed reviews, our experience was overwhelmingly positive and we’d happily return.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! One of the best places we have ever stayed. The rooms were beautiful. The property was stunning. The food was great. But the SERVICE was outstanding. Every single person we encountered was helpful and friendly and attentive. Everyone knew who we were and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Paros.

A very special place From the moment we arrived at the Summer Senses in Paros, we felt welcome. As we drove to the beautiful entrance of the hotel, an employee walked outside to greet us and assist with the luggage. As we walked in, everyone greeted us with genuine smiles. This was representative of the service at the hotel for the duration of our stay - warm, attentive, friendly, keen. Mimi and Natalia, the concierges, were really great and helpful. They went out of their way to be nice and build rapport with hotel guests. They were helpful as we needed help with bookings, and finding our way across the restaurants on the island. The restaurants - Gaia and Hytra, were really good. We ate at Gaia on our first night on the island, and that set the bar pretty high. Hytra’s also a wonderful experience. Michelin-level dishes and service. Special thanks to Christina for sharing with us her knowledge and appreciation of Greek wine. The hotel itself was great. Rooms spacious, beds comfortable. Very nice infinity pool and comfortable chairs. The gym was small but functional, and we managed to get a few good workouts in. Overall a wonderful experience in every respect. Thanks to all the staff at Summer Senses for making us feel welcome
