"Born out of a friendship between June Summerill and the late Bernadette Bishop, their store is one of Holland Park's hidden gems, worth venturing a few minutes out of Notting Hill to visit. With an eye for hand-crafted home goods - June & Bernadette forged relationships with many international ceramicists, textile artists and glassblowers - and merchandise their goods in their own style. The best hand painted tablecloths, in an array of patterns all designed in their in house studio, handblown glassware, plus essential kitchenware round out the offerings. This is a dreamy, beautiful store that is 24 years strong. They've also recently opened a second store in Belgravia at 58 Elizabeth Street, and sell internationally through their website summerillandbishop.com"

I dislike it very much - quite pretentious shop and owner tbh that I’d need to dress and act fancy to feel welcomed. Items are overpriced for what they are. Typical shop that attracts certain types of social climbers and milks aspiring customers.

Wandered in today while on a walk and fell in love. The cutest store with the most wonderful people working and a great assortment of cute and original homeware. Will be back next time I visit London!

I received the order 2weeks ago and since than I am trying to get in contact with you. No answers to the emails and no picking up the phone.
You forgot to attach the return order in the package and now I can not return it.
Btw your quality doesnt match the price!

Charming little shop in the middle of Notting Hill full of beautiful handcrafted and handmade homeware.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you to find the right fit for your dining table - whether it’s just a small vase for decoration or full blown table set up with beautiful linen tablecloth, matching napkins and Astier de Villatte dinner set…

Beautiful products, appalling customer service for online orders. I have been trying to get a refund for an order that was cancelled two weeks ago. Emails are not responded to and I had to open a claim with PayPal to get my money back.

Worth the trip to Portland Road, especially if the owner is there. Very well curated with current and vintage objects. The copper hammered pots are outstanding! The wooden spoons from the South of France have made great Christmas gifts. If the girls at the desk don't acknowledge you when you walk in, it is because the owner is not there. Don't waste your time, just ask when they will be in and come back then.

One of the finest and most bespoke shops in London.
Not easy to find, however.
Hopefully when Julie's finally re-opens it's doors, they will feature some of their items?
