Summit the Roof bar is opening at the Conrad in CityCenter - Eater DC

"The Conrad, the newly minted crown jewel of Hilton’s D.C. properties, is primed to open a rooftop bar in CityCenterDC that will attract the type of people who can afford to shop in the posh Penn Quarter development. Summit the Rooftop is slated to start service on Monday, May 20, luring customers to the 11th floor with cocktails ranging from an Old Fashioned and a margarita to a peach caipirinha. Zach Luther, the venue’s lead bartender, has also come up with a Parisian Party — La Colombe cold brew with vermouth, absinthe, Demerara sugar, and soda — and a Glasgow Maid that blends Johnnie Walker Black with vermouth, cucumber, lemon, and a salt garnish. In addition to a buffet of panoramic views that could make Summit a launching pad for enjoying Fourth of July fireworks, the rooftop will serve small plates including roasted pork “wings,” Maryland crab mac and cheese, and bone-in short ribs with a Calabrian chile glaze that come as part of a multi-person taco platter for $40. Scotch-smoked s’mores are available for an outdoor dessert." - Gabe Hiatt

Was really impressed by the food. Got the Lobster Mac & Cheese and it was really good. Plus had a lot of lobster. Flatbread was also high quality. It was fairly busy when we got there so I was worried the food would take long but it didn’t at all. And the views were perfect at sunset.

Google
A subpar sushi, and a decent cheese board but with great views over Bosphorus and very enjoyable cocktails. I also noticed a spelling mistake in their menu, which I can’t say I’ve ever noticed one before, so it was a bit of a surprise. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives, so if you’re looking for a view and good drinks do come, if it’s for food, Istanbul is a great big city with plenty of other options worth considering.

Google
A great rooftop with some amazing cocktails and nice dishes next to it! You should visit at sunset. so beautiful!

Google
Ali, the hostess here is absolutely RUDE. She should learn how to be in the customer service industry. We don’t think she is suitable for a hotel bar. Learn how to talk to people, Ali. The bartenders and other staffs were super nice though. We also witnessed that she was treating other staffs in a horrible way. That was so painful to watch.

Google
Love this place! Just had a reservation at the rooftop, the views are amazing and service is superb! Thank you Ignacio forr all the efforts and attention. I do have to admit that I did not love the food, however there is a restaurant in the same hotel that never dissapoints!

Google
We had an amazing time. My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and the customer service was spectacular. Caleb was our waiter and he was attentive, nice, welcoming, and never made us feel like we had to go at a certain time even though we were there late. The host was also extremely nice. Food was amazing. We had the clams and crab. Both tasted amazing and super fresh. We also had some drinks that were perfectly made. Although this was pricier than we are used to paying, considering the service the environment and the view, it was well worth the prices and it wasn’t overly priced considering all factors. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary!

Google
Views are awesome even if the set up is simple. We definitely enjoyed our time watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand. Drinks aren't cheap, but this is a 5 star hotel serving a solid experience that's included in your drink price. Lobby is also beautiful as you head to rooftop. Plan to take your time here and enjoy the vistas around you.

Google
Best rooftop view in DC! Wonderful cocktails and great service. Love the chill vibe.

Yelp
My husband booked this fantastic hotel for me as a part of a long weekend trip. From the lobby, to the reception area to the room, the Conrad is a beautiful hotel will amazing views and a great location in downtown Washington D.C. just blocks away from the White House and a quick 10 minute still to the National Mall and all of the museums. The room was beautiful, the bed was perfect, and the shower was amazing. I also got nightly turndown service and my room was always cleaned and even organized. There is a small in-room bar and fridge with a nespresso machine and included nespresso pods, sugar and cream on request. There is also a kettle for hot water and tea available as well. The staff and concierge were awesome and helped arrange transportation to the events I was attending. The Estuary restaurant was also great and I ate breakfast and lunch there daily. Highly recommend room service as well, as they were fast and very hospitable as well! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
I love this hotel! Booked a room at this hotel while in the area to attend the Mariah Carey Christmas concert. From the time of arrival to the departure, the customer service was exceptional from everyone (the concierge, front desk staff, housekeeping and the room service team). In one night, I experienced a comfortable night's sleep, great food from the hotel restaurant, The Estuary and an overall positive stay. The view from the room was spectacular (see pic) and architectural layout of the room provided enough space for multiple seating areas + a king sized bed. This hotel is officially my #1 place to stay when in Washington DC.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel for a family trip to DC. We booked this hotel because it falls under FHR and Hilton, but unfortunately, they did not honor the Hilton benefits. Although this is at the discretion of the hotel, we have never encountered one that wouldn't honor the benefits, and it was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked. (No where on the website did they indicate this would be the case) The overall look and decor of the hotel is nice, but after staying for several nights, it became clear that this was mostly a facade. Some very basic things were lacking such as good customer service, decent towels, quiet rooms, and a comfortable bathroom. (There was an event going on, and we could hear everything late into the night with our door closed and headphones in) Every time the shower was turned on, the bathroom would flood, and we ended up having to use the very thin, frayed towels to keep the water from escaping. In addition, the hotel has a restaurant and a rooftop bar. The food and drinks are overpriced ($20-60 for any one item), and nothing was special. The best part of the hotel in my opinion is the rooftop, as it had an excellent view, but it was only accessible when the rooftop bar was open, which meant we couldn't use it very frequently. I was hoping to love this hotel, but unfortunately it fell short in some very important ways, and I do not plan to patronize again.

Yelp
This was such an amazing experience. The service, everything. The beds were comfortable. The staff was kind and on point. We highly recommend.

Yelp
We chose to stay here for a few days while attending a wedding in the DMV area, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The hotel's location is ideal, close to all the main attractions and the staff was absolutely wonderful. A special shoutout to Eileen for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant on the third floor was a pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic and perfect for a quick bite. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Had a great time at the inauguration this hotel went over and above with daily gifts to our room to nightly turn down service! It's the little things for sure!

Yelp
I love a great staycation! I have posted enough pics and videos of the Conrad to where a review is definitely overdue! Although I'm from the area, I have always loved to just be "home away from home," whether that is DC or Baltimore. The Conrad is definitely another home where I know the concierge and housekeeping staff. But, whether they know you or not, customer service is top tier here. From valet, to check-in, to even dining at their restaurant, Estuary, you will surely feel seen and welcomed. The rooms are clean, nice views of what DC wants to call "skyscrapers," and very simplistic in decor. If you are a Hilton Honors member, or would like to pay extra, you can get access to the Sakura Club, which is 24/7. Sakura Club offers breakfast and dinner during the quoted times (buffet style). After those times, you can still enjoy small snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. I love the convenience of the location -- near attractions like the Verizon Center, City Center, museums and the like. No complaints here! Enjoy!

Yelp
I am a Marriott girl. I am an ambassador and have spent over 30K at Marriott properties this year (and it's not even October). But I had a couple hundred thousand Hilton points saved up from a previous work assignment where there were no Marriotts. And in my experience, Marriotts are better properties . . . HOWEVER. Conrad Washington was AMAZING. On par with The Four Seasons and Waldorf Astoria. Rooms are spacious, well-designed. Great mini-bar and snack selection. Loved the workplace, which would also serve well for room service and dining. Even in just a regular king, I had a super sitting area with a crescent shaped couch and table, which was perfect for lounging or working. Bathroom well-equipped with separate toilet and shower space and, albeit manual, bidet. Housekeeping is wonderful . . . unless you specify otherwise, they clean your room daily. Nice bath products, comfortable beds. They have a turndown service as well, complete with slippers and presidential themed chocolates. Service and support staff are awesome . . . always so kind, always opening doors, always offering help. I never had to worry about anything I needed, whether it was a bucket of ice or an umbrella on a rainy day. Robes and toiletries provided. Great common spaces, a nice restaurant/bar (reviewed separately). Pretty finishes that offer a sophisticated feel. Close to all the action . . . a mile or less from all the main Smithsonian sites. Very walkable. Near tons of restaurants. About 3/10 of a mile from Ford's Theater. I won't leave my beloved Marriott . . . but Conrad DC definitely caused me to turn my head and look at the other side . . .

Yelp
I cannot stop raving about the excellent customer service we received by all the staff at Conrad during our stay last month. All the staff members were welcoming and extremely friendly; from the doorperson, to the front desk, and even housekeeping. This hotel is allegedly a few years old and is located in the new city center. Tiffany's is right underneath the hotel and has an array of luxury stores all around. Most of the spots we wanted to go to were roughly a 15-20 minute walk which was great to get our steps in. I worked for a majority of the time in my hotel room so I had asked the front desk if my room could be cleaned whilst I was out grabbing a coffee. The staff made it possible and even checked up on me as I would head out. Did I mention that the room has an array of Byredo Mojave Ghost soap, body wash, lotion, and shampoo?! I smothered myself in lotion and smelled great every day in that DC heat! The only con I would like to mention is the $50 dollar Caesar Salad I ordered for lunch. The salad along was around $20. The chicken itself was another $20 which was a sad sad piece of chicken I received. I noticed their lunch area did not look as packed and I can understand why. The food is ridiculously expensive! It's much easier to go out and find something to eat nearby. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay at Conrad and highly recommend it to anyone that is going to DC.

Yelp
If I could add a half star I would and rate 3.5/5. Positives: - Very Clean - High quality things. Furniture is nice, lamps are nice, sheets are nice, everything is just nice in the room. - Tasteful design and vibe Areas for improvement: - Service. It's amazing how something can be the same quality (room and hotel all the same) but less nice due to service not being great. No one on staff particularly was horrible, but no one was great. I would say for The Conrad to be rated as a higher tier hotel, the customer service game really has to step up. - Food. This will sound harsh, but none of it was good. The restaurant was very high priced and even getting the most reasonable thing, it just wasn't good. It felt like the restaurant experience was playing dress up... Same with room service for dessert - the ice cream was freezer burnt (although it was delivered fast) so we didn't even bother eating it and just cut our losses. The breakfast somehow was amazing though!! I just wouldn't recommend dinner menu. All in all, the Conrad is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but they have not mastered execution of many many details, and have a lot of room for improvement. I didn't share everything about this experience because I just wanted to hit the top things. But that's the gist i would say.

Yelp
I thought the room service here was top tier. Unfortunately, we couldn't make a reservation to go to the restaurant or the rooftop bar. Although they don't really honor the Hilton Honors, they accepted the Amex Platinum Fine Hotel and Resorts Deal. Location of the hotel is very ideal. It is in the middle of the City Center complex, where there are the luxury shops and very good restaurants (especially Fig and Olive). The check in service was great and the room was very clean. They have their own parking garage, but the parking valet fee has to be paid separately. It can be done through an app.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here! This hotel and its staff is fantastic! First let me rave about the Sakura lounge which is always fully stocked with drinks, snacks, and different meals throughout the day. The decor and the views from the tenth floor were very inviting. The mini bar in our room was also fully stocked with drinks, alcohol, and snacks. The bathroom is large and the toilet even has a (manual) bidet. Jennifer, our concierge was very bubbly and informative about where we should go for dinner and drinks on the town. William was our bar tender who made me a fantastic drink. I can tell he really loves what he does. Lastly there's our ambassador, Tom. Always cheerful and involved in our needs for our stay. He even arranged private airport transportation for us. Needless to say, we will be back to stay on our next trip to DC. We loved it here!

Yelp
The hotel is very nice and the concierge are attentive. The ESTUARY restautant inside the hotel has the some of the best risotto I have ever had. Hotel room - 4/5 Concierge - 4/5 Restaurant service - 4/5 Food - 5/5 Cocktail - 5/5 Environment - 5/5 9/10 would recommend

Yelp
This is the third Conrad I have stayed at and is tied for a top hotel for me. From the beginning, they reached out via email to welcome me (prior to my stay) and asked if there was any special reason I was visiting. I was coming for my birthday as well as my friends and we were going to the Mariah Carey concert. Check in was smooth, my room was upgraded. The hotel was gorgeous. Get to the room and they have left birthday cake, bubbly water, and a birthday card for us. Everyone was friendly the entire stay, from the door me , to the concierge who took pictures for us, and everyone at the check in counter. They asked about the concert and were very sweet the whole trip. We ordered room service and that came quicker that quoted and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be back! Loved the holiday decorations and the proximity to several hot spots in DC! Despite the cold we were in walking distance of a lot of things, including Capital One Arena and the White House!

Yelp
This hotel is wonderful. Great location! On a nice day you can easily walk to so many attractions! The hospitality was great, the room was very comfy. If you need a ride to Union Station, the Circulator is right across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
My first time staying at a Conrad. Great location - right in City Center complex. Close to Penn Quarter area and short walk to Gallery Place metro station and to Convention center. The entrance is on New York Ave. There is a CVS across the street if you forget anything. Only thing I didn't like were the elevators - you have to take one set to get to the lobby from the street entrance, then another to the rooms. Valet parking is expensive ($70 a night), so I parked my car at the City Center garage as it's just a block walk. The lobby area is nice. The front desk agent who checked me in was very hospitable. My room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, just a mini-bar refrigerator. If you are a Hilton Gold or Diamond member, you get a $25 daily room credit ($50 if there are two registered adults). We used this to get drinks at Estuary which was really happening on a Saturday night. There are many restaurants around the hotel where you can dine as well as their restaurant. We enjoyed dinner at Sfoglina which is a block from the hotel. There are many hotels within a few blocks from this hotel such as Embassy Suites and Grand Hyatt, but this one is my favorite now. Next time, I will have to try their Sakura Club and their rooftop bar when it gets warmer out.

Yelp
Synopsis: Excellent staff. Great location. Room needs work. Details: After splurging on a room for my birthday, I was happy to find the staff and common areas of the building met my expectations upon arrival. Once I entered my room, I immediately noticed the carpet, which appeared worn and stained in some areas. The furniture (aside from the beds) was also a bit disappointing; the chair's arms were worn and there were mysterious white spots on the couch (see photos). While the bathroom was beautifully appointed, the water wouldn't rise above lukewarm during my early evening and morning showers. Lastly, the lighting system, though accurately labeled, did not work as expected. I ended up having to use a flashlight I brought instead of the lights as I was worried about turning on all of the lights and waking my family in the morning. If this were a lesser priced hotel, the items here wouldn't be as glaring. However, at the rate I paid, I expected a lot higher quality.

Yelp
Highly recommend staying at the hotel, eating at Estuary and enjoying cocktails on the rooftop bar. Sharing a collection of various pictures of my last 6 stays. The service is impeccable and the location is perfect.

Yelp
The Conrad Washington DC is extremely walkable to luxury shopping, cafes, restaurants, museums, etc. Its staff were welcoming and helpful. General decor was luxurious and rooms were clean and well appointed--turndown provided a pillow chocolate! Amenities were generally great, of note: - Good wifi in the room and in the conference spaces (oddly my cellular service wasn't great in the hotel)--TV in room was equipped to login to Netflix - There was a bedside table on both sides of the bed with electrical/USB outlets - Good counter space in bathroom - Hair dryer in a hidden drawer in the bathroom vanity, but no shower cap toiletry - Lightly scented toiletries did not disturb my allergies. - No vent fan in bathroom, though the lights had a "nightlight" setting - Desk/desk chair with electrical outlet and lamp--would've liked if the TV was mounted on a swinging arm so it could be seen more easily from the desk - Lounge chair and coffee table - Complimentary bottled water available in the room and a water-bottle filler was near the restrooms in the conference area - Complimentary basic coffee machine available in the room with a glass hot water kettle for preparation of a solid cuppa! - Umbrellas available to borrow Tip: would bring a noise machine, particularly if you have a room that opens onto the balcony overlooking the atrium. My phone app did the trick.

Yelp
Stayed here for a night. While this is a great location with beautiful views of the city, I wasn't impressed with the establishment. Wasn't very welcoming atmosphere and the room prep prior to our arrival was disappointing.

Yelp
Long overdue I finally made it to the Conrad rooftop earlier this summer to meet a group of friends for drinks. I opted for the Frose on this hot Friday evening and found it to be refreshing. Eventually I got a little hungry. The menu is limited and small bites only so I went for the cheese & charcuterie. It was pretty good overall with a tasty selection of cheeses, but the accompanying toast was burnt around the edges. We stayed for several hours until closing actually and the service got slow at times as the evening wore on. Especially when we needed to close out the bill. But overall is was a decent experience and the Conrad itself is a beautiful property throughout.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a good stay. We got upgraded to the corner king suite which was nice. The shower stunk of mold. You are able to see some mold forming which was pretty nasty. They didn't have good ventilation in bathroom, sadly. But aside from that service was great, room was beautiful and clean.

Yelp
A gorgeous hotel in DC. The multiple elevator thing is odd, but otherwise a great place.
google avatar

Yelp
The best hotel I have ever stayed in DC area. Everyone was super friendly and professional, the doorman, valet, bellhop and front desk. Perfect location to walk to museums , capital one etc. we loved the hotel so much that decided to spend the day there and leave museums for another day. ( weather was not the best) . We had access to Sakura Club, LOVE IT!!! I could've not asked more for a better experience! Thank you to everyone at Sakura for taking good care of us! Specially Mimi, Marlon and Tierney for making our stay a very pleasant one. Def recommend the Conrad .
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
We stayed at the Conrad for 4 nights during the Christmas holiday. The check in process was efficient and smooth and the gentleman who checked us in exuded genuine kindness. The breakfast options included in our rate were amazing but make reservations ahead of time as the restaurant gets really busy. Everyone we encountered at the Conrad went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and our housekeeper was so sweet! Location is pretty central to the capital building and downtown.
google avatar

Deanna H.

Yelp
Hotel was nice, but big drawing point was rooftop bar. Unfortunately, it closes so early you can't see the view. Redirect d to the 3rd floor bar, but so crowded for an event that hotel guests couldn't access it. Real disappointment for what we paid.
google avatar

Yelp
I read through a few reviews before posting mine and I was surprised. I stayed here for a business trip and Conrad isn't usually my choice. My room was beautiful as I arrived. It was nice to have a view of the city versus some back alley or work unit (which I usually seem to get). I had someone at my door before I had a chance to unzip my suitcase. He said he was there to fix my tv. Unbeknownst to me, I hadn't turned the TV on so I said I hadn't called. Well, my tv didn't work. The tech was back up within a few minutes to get me set up. The restaurant was great for breakfast (although not very quick) and the bar was great for evenings. Valet staff were all very friendly as we entered/exited each evening. Water was always available. Cleaners did a great job each day and I heard the turn down service was phenomenal. They had decorations on the 3rd floor for the cherry blossom festival which added a nice touch. The location to Starbucks, shopping, good dining and the convention center were key. I'd definitely come back for another business trip.

Orange J.

Yelp
One star is too much for the degree of malice demonstrated by this establishment March 2024. After one night of a three night stay, the accosted me on my return to the hotel, called the police claiming I trespassed, would not allow me to speak to their Corporate Office on the phone regarding the reservation and the resolution of any issues and have refused to return my clothing that had been sent to their laundry despite numerous calls to their various departments, Corporate Office and police as well as two return visits there to try to get the clothes. Their position is that they can't be forced to return my clothes but my question is "what do they get from holding onto my clothes?" other than a perverse sense of pleasure? Really shocking.

Yelp
I absolutely love the Conrad! The Park View Suite located on the 10th floor was gorgeous, clean, and luxurious, and also came with access to the Sakura Club-a lounge area that offers buffet style breakfast and dinner, and plethora of snacks and drinks. The staff was courteous and superb! This hotel is a perfect for a romantic weekend or birthday staycation. Drawbacks: Rooftop bar was closed, an outlet in the sitting area was not working, the room phone in the sitting area was not working (electrician fixed it though), had to request bedroom slippers that were not stocked with the bathroom robe as per required. And the hotel restaurant is not for the hungry-small, expensive portions. Parking is also tough: so be prepared to pay for valet (~$50), fight for street parking, or just uber/lyft, etc. to the location. But overall highly recommend!!

Yelp
Nice upscale hotel. Service was great. It's located close to designer shops and restaurants. And walking distance to museums.

Yelp
Ah MAZING! How can you go wrong with the Conrad Sakura Club. We opted for a staycation to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. When we arrived everybody was so helpful & courteous. The doorman escorted us up to the 10th floor to check in. Our room wasn't quite ready so we hung out in the Sakura Club. The open air feel of the floor to ceiling windows & views of the club are unmatched. We were welcomed with beer & wine, a comfy couch and the game to unwind. Our room's not ready? No worries, beer please. Once we got to our corner view room we unpacked a bit, freshened up, and headed to see the lighting of the Christmas Tree in City Center. We were going to go outside and watch in person, but opted for the view from the Estuary lounge inside the Conrad. It was a perfect view. Let's talk about the Sakura Club. You HAVE to add it to your stay and YES it's worth it. Our dinner included an array of food, which included lasagna, pasta dishes, prosciutto, caprese, and several tasty dishes. The chefs menu included an AMAZING cod soup. Who know THAT could be so good! I'm not a big cod fan, but when I tasted it..... my taste buds were smiling. It was Zuppa di pesce (fish soup). OMG. Desert included my favorite tiramisu and other tasty pastries. AND I cannot fail to mention the superior attention Zineb gave us and everybody in the Club. She has definitely found here niche, is genuine in her concern & customer service, and was THEEE best. The hotel is beautiful. The architectural design throughout is unmatched; it's a work of art. Everybody was attentive, professional & courteous. The room had amazing views, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was spectacular and that Nespresso machine....... I never knew what I was missing out on. It's on my Christmas list. If you're looking for your next stay, this is it!

Yelp
Isaac - Was my bartender yesterday...he is very professional and engaging young man. He made me the "best" lemon drop that I had all weekend! I didnt order any food this time, but I definitely will revisit soon enough. All the staff were amazing...and the rooftop deck view of the city..priceless! Stop by and visit Issac and the crew at the Summit!

Yelp
Stayed here for one night over the weekend to meet some friends in DC for dinner and drinks. The hotel is immaculate and beautiful. The room was very spacious and clean! We had drinks at the rooftop bar - great location with scenery. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. Service was what you would expect at a hotel like this. We will stay again!

Russ W.

Yelp
The hotel is disgusting. I had blood stains on my sheets when I got to my room which I discovered at 5:00 pm. The hotel staff said they would take care of it and they had not as of 9:00 pm. Further they never offered to do anything to make amends, Don't stay in this disgusting hotel

Yelp
Yelp Fam!!!!! My fiancée and I were going a little crazy being inside and needed a change of scenery. After going through the options she found the Conrad DC. It was in all honesty the BEST Hotel & BEST Service I've ever received on a vacation. Let's start with the check in, we were able to use the Hilton honors app to check in, to our surprise our room was ready early and they let us know via chat in the app. When we arrived they had all of our info, gave us room keys (digital room key via app as well!!!) we were told how the elevator system worked(2 sets to access different parts of the hotel) & about our Sakura Club privileges. After a brief Q&A we went on to the 10th floor to our room. Which was very nice, large TV, comfortable bed & The Best Shower. After getting settled we went to check out the Sakura Club. The Sakura Club -totally worth the extra cost! Do you remember in Home Alone 2 lost in New York when he opened the cabinets full of treats this is that on steroids! They have multiple refrigerators full of drinks, candy, water & other refreshments. They serve all 3 meals of the day, each day with a rotating theme. With a buffet style & fresh grilled option(s). They have couches, restaurant seating & lounging areas with a fireplace. We were greeted by the amazing Zenib!!!!! She took such great care of us during our stay. She provided recommendations to great places in the city & was truly caring. Big shout out to Z! Another HUGE shoutout to my Guy Devon, the first night I went to the Sakura Club. He made sure I had refreshments, we had a great conversation about the NBA playoffs. Every day I was in there he made sure I was taken care of! True hospitality & excellent service, really appreciate his effort. This was true of the whole team! Carmen was Great as well, she made sure our breakfast order was taken, helped us several times in and out of the Sakura Club. She was truly Great during our entire stay! We had reservations to the rooftop bar, Z was kind enough to escort us and help us get to Our rooftop table. The view was amazing, the drinks were cold & is a great place for taking photos! (We had a mini photo shoot with DC as the backdrop, a photographers dream.) This experience was Second to none. We cancelled some plans to have more time in the Sakura club. We felt like family. We will be back without question!!! *Update we are booked to go back in a few months.

Yelp
Nice looking hotel. No sheets! Untried to check in and they made me wait until 10pm. The hotel had no sheets and were making the beds at night. They offered me a free drink for my trouble. She took my money at the front desk then gave me the bad news. Don't stay here.

Yelp
This review is specifically for The Summit, the roof bar. The good: They take reservations Great service Beautiful view The bad: Mediocre expensive food Weak, small, overpriced drinks It's kind of what you'd expect, you pay for the view. But truly, the drinks could be A LITTLE better for the price. The view is worth going once.

Yelp
Celebrated my partner's belated birthday for this labor weekend and our stay with Conrad DC is extremely delightful! From check-in to our departure, they made our stay wonderful and extra special. The customer service is top notch! Brunch was delicious. We recommend getting the chicken and waffles. It's one of my fave dishes i've had in this trip considering we've tried other Michelin star restaurants in the area. The location is fantastic, walking distance to all the sights and close to all shopping needs. We highly recommend staying here when you visit DC and we will definitely be back! Thanks Conrad Team for the excellent service.

Yelp
Very, very nice hotel in a nice, upscale part of DC near Capital One Arena. Surrounding area is safe and clean, with high-end stores and restaurants close by. Despite signage for self-parking (with an otherwise very convenient adjacent parking garage), you actually CAN'T self-park and this hotel is valet only. The main lobby is not on the ground floor, so first time checking in can be a bit discombobulated. Once arrived at the front desk for my point redemption stay, I was surprisingly upgraded (an always welcome pleasantry). The room was clean, crisp, and fresh-smelling, and the in-room Nespresso machine was a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom amenities (e.g., textured rug) were above average. All in, the Conrad was a pleasant stay in a great location, but I probably not worth the $500+ per night price tag. I would definitely stay again for a point redemption or if I was able to catch a deal.

Yelp
This place deserves a 10 star. I was here for work & was blown away with their customer service. Their rooms come with Nespresso coffee pods & bottled water. Not like the tap water paper filtered coffee in other hotels. They have a small and personal breakfast area called Blue Willow on the 3rd floor, I had the delicious shredded duck & waffle breakfast. After work, I went to the bar at the Estuary Restaurant, the Rockfish with coconut sauce over the rice was very tasty, peach tea dessert, and a Whisky Sour by Will on 3rd FL or Isaac con Rooftop. Housekeeping comes every night to deliver ice, bottled water, set up your bed and close the curtains for you so u can just worry about the lights. They spoil you. Trust me. I know.

Yelp
All the amazing reviews doesn't do the FRONT DESK MANAGER/ Supervisor JUSTICE with how excellent his customer facing skills are. This handsome black man was dressed to the 9s! His speech was impeccable, he gave us an actual tour, walked us around, gave us every detail needed to have a relaxing stay and did I say that man was BLACK EXCELLENCE WALKING? Name starts with a J, I literally wrote it down in my phone but I was too relaxed during my stay and pretty sure I typed over it. Wow! I would love to be on his team!! Anywho Blah blah blah, hotel was fantastic, restaurant had the most amazing butternut squash with this hot butter that made your mouth go into a frenzy of flavors. The hotel itself is absolutely break-taking. I have stayed at the Conrad in battery park ( New York) and this one is leaps and bounds better.

Yelp
I am very impressed with his hotel. A little background, I lived in DC for 2 yrs (see review for Instrata Pentagon City) and I had just moved when I needed to return to the city. I had to go to the bathroom once on my way to founding farmers for brunch and stopped in at this hotel to use the restroom and I wanted to see what the rooms were like after seeing how grand the lobby and restrooms were. It did not disappoint. I will start by saying it is not inexpensive by any means of the imagination but it is worth the price. The lobby is a grand atrium with arms branching off. I was in a 1 bedroom studio 927. It was spacious, appeared to be high quality, and overall an excellent experience with plenty of room. I loved the expresso machine and I called for some shaving material and it was delivered fast. Every room has a doorbell but I cannot see anyone ding dong ditching you here. I did eat in the lobby to use my $15 voucher I get with status and the burger was about $15 and it was a nice after dinner snack that was supposed to be my breakfast. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel but instead went to Starbucks which is right across the street. It is not far from the metro and there is a Tiffany attached to it. Yelp
Anniversary celebrating looked a little different this year than the usual island sun we get to soak up; however Conrad Washington DC did an outstanding job not making us feel in the least bit slighted. 1st, kudos to Conrad's amazing team with a special shout out to Emma Blanton & Rebekah Roberts that went above and beyond to be the most hospitable and helped Hub ensure the most heartfelt experiences were created for us. I can't say enough great things about their attentiveness and how no ask was too big for them to accommodate. Upon arrival, they warmly greeted my sweet little B, Koffee & offered her treats as they are a pet friendly hotel. Our room was upgraded and located on a high floor as had been previously requested and much to our surprise and delight, there was a complimentary bottle of rosé chilled for us when we checked in, too. Staff & guests alike were all social distancing and wearing masks in public areas and elevators and we were astonished at how pristinely clean every... single... surface, nook and cranny were. When I first got settled into our room, I realized I'd misplaced an earring and we were searching high and low for it.... I mean down on our hands and knees turning things upside down, pulling back curtains and moving furniture around and looking in any place it could have possibly fallen and while I did not locate the earring during our initial search, we could not stop commenting how there was not so much as a speck of lint or dust anywhere in sight. Later, a gentleman from the housekeeping team brought us ice and inquired if there was something he could help with as I'm sure I looked a little frantic during the search, LOL. Well the very next day, the housekeeping team made up our room to perfection, restocked water and toiletries, and left my earring with a note citing where it was found and to let them know if we needed anything at all and to enjoy the rest of our anniversary stay, which I thought was a lovely touch and set them apart from many other hotels not doing daily housekeeping through COVID-19. In addition to the visually breathtaking architecture, design, and decor at the Conrad something else that set them apart was the front desk team's overall professionalism, pleasant engagement, and general kindness with guest interactions... During a quick trip out to take my little B for a walk, I realized halfway through our stroll that I'd forgotten my mask. Instead of making me feel ostracized upon my return, they welcomed me back and warmly and discreetly approached me to extend me complimentary masks and said "no worries" when I was profusely apologizing for forgetting mine in my room. So many places are now making huge scenes and being somewhat aggressive and obnoxious with their enforcement of mask wearing which I appreciated the decorum demonstrated from Conrad's team about, when I absentmindedly left mine behind trying to get my dog out in a bit of a haste. The Conrad Washington DC experience was nothing short of amazing and they have our vote for DC's best hotel and best pet-friendly hotel by a landslide. *We ate at BlackSalt that is my favorite seafood restaurant in DC during our stay and they were phenomenal, per usual. We enjoyed happy hour at King Street Oyster bar and they were great too. There is a Yard Bird under construction directly across the street and Conrad was in walking distance of Black Lives Matter plaza we enjoyed checking out. Delivery food from Le Diplomate was rather disappointing if you're looking for snacks :)

Yelp
Drinks at the estuary - or the bar in Conrad - absolutely excellent. The lemon drop was on point. Staff very friendly. Beautiful bar

Yelp
Amazing service, great drinks, hostess was super accommodating. It's a little pricey but the view makes up for it.

Yelp
First the bad...The rooms are old modern (I realize this sounds like a contradiction). The carpet was dirty. The lobby is very blasé. Overall, this place does not have a luxury feel. Topping it all off, the doormen act like aggressive panhandlers; it's very off putting. The good is what you'd expect. The staff at the desk were very pleasant and attentive. Same comment for the bar/restaurant. The area is also very nice, but there are several nicer hotels in the area, so location does not limit you to the Conrad. I wouldn't stay again. For the price point, I'd recommend the Marriott Marquis, about two blocks away.

Yelp
I was in Washington D.C. for the AIPAC Policy Conference and decided to stay at the Conrad. The Conrad was built only 11 months old and is just a short walk from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The Conrad is through the Hilton, but it's much nicer and more luxurious than a regular Hilton. The lobby is open, bright and filled with white marble. It really is a nice, modern feel. For example, the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The beds are large, soft and comfortable. The TV is large and has quality picture. There is even a custom panel to control the brightness of the lights, which is really cool! If you stay on the 10th floor, which I did, you get access to the Sakura Lounge. The Sakura Lounge is absolutely amazing. There are three free meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. While I was there, there were cuisine including South American, Japanese and American. They also had a tasty chicken dish. Also, in the club is a refrigerator filled with candy, Coca-Cola, water, ice cream, yogurt and more. The Sakura Club also has great views of Washington D.C. including the Capital building! One thing that I found to be a bit off was that to get from the first floor to lobby you have to take an elevator. From the lobby, you have to take a different elevator to get to your room. I suppose they have this system for safety reasons. Altogether, the Conrad D.C. is an absolutely gorgeous hotel that provides both convenience and luxury in Washington D.C. A truly beautiful hotel!
