Sum’n Sweet Frozen Treats

My friend took me here for the first time today. She has been telling me about this place for MONTHS. I am so glad i finally got to go. The place was sooo clean, customer service top notch, the pretty pink decor was right up my alley, and the ice cream and Italian ice selection was great. I had the ice cream nachos after my friend recommended them and they were delicious! The waffle cone pieces alone would be a great treat. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

I've visited Sum'n Sweet 3 different times and every visit has been wonderful! Yummy desserts, cute pink decor, and many photo opportunities for social media! I wish I knew the owner's / employee's name! She's treated me and any guests I've brought with me so kindly! I talk a great deal about this shop to my friends! 🩷 Also three words "Ice Cream Nachos!!!!" My favorite menu item! 🤤 So tasty and customizable to what you want on top. And for my peeps who don't want dairy, they serve SO many flavors of Italian ice too! Everyone deserves sum'n sweet, right? 😉

Sum Sweet in New Orleans is legit one of the best dessert spots I’ve ever been to. The owner is super friendly and clearly loves what she does—you can taste it in everything. But the chillers? Next level. I’m not even kidding when I say they changed my life. Perfect mix of creamy, refreshing, and just straight-up addictive. I still think about them randomly during the week. If you’re in NOLA and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

From the moment I walked into Sum’n Sweet, I was blown away. The shop is absolutely adorable — bright, clean, and full of charm. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. I tried the strawberry cheesecake on a waffle cone… and WOW. So creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. This place is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. 10/10 recommend — I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!

We caught the streetcar and walked a couple of blocks to this gem. It smelled like it had just been cleaned and so fresh, and we got there a little after 5p. The young ladies were very professional and welcoming. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake tacos, 2 scoops of strawberry cheescake ice cream, 2 scoops of vanilla, and 2 birthday cake scoops. We'd love to return before going back to Miami.

The atmosphere is awesome, tucked away inside of a neighborhood, the parking is street side. The eatery is so very clean and the people are amazing. The waffle chips and ice cream is scrumptious. Totally worth the drive from Pensacola FL.

Awesome Italian ice! Fresh flavors and unique ones too! I recommend getting the flight to try a scoop of a few different flavors!

Absolutely AMAZING! The gelato, ice cream, and shakes here are out of this world – so creamy and flavorful. 🍦✨ On top of that, the owner (I believe that was her that I met today) was the absolute sweetest – so welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even better. 💕 A place that not only serves incredible treats but also makes you feel at home. My daughter even color her a picture. Can’t wait to come back again and again! 🙌

Love this place! Great location and perfect for everyone. Their treats are delicious and consistent. Very relaxing and inviting. The owner and all the employees are always so nice. We are repeat customers and always look forward to going back.

Made my way to this place after coming across it on IG. As we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who asked was it our first time & it was so she explained the menu and everything. I ended up getting the Italian ice flight that is only $7 on Sunday's. It was perfect because I was able to split it with my kids and everyone got whatever flavor they wanted. We sat and ate and took some pics in the inside. The walls were so pretty and nicely decorated you can't help but to take a couple of photos. The owner recommended the apple pie gelati with caramel drizzle and it was actually my favorite one. It had apple bites in it and tasted like a warm apple pie with ice cream. Yum! I can't wait to go back and try some other flavors and toppings.

The Soft serve is chalky...needs to be creamy like mainstream places such as McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A. Very clean and colorful space. Service was excellent.

OMG love love this placed has the best Italian ice and ice cream options the inside is decorated so cute and not to mention it's black owned.

My daughter and I loved it. We got the nachos which was delicious and creative. I got the regular Oreo nachos and my daughter added m&m's. The space is beautiful and the staff was super sweet & helpful. Definitely going back to try all of the menu items (over time of course lol). Kid friendly and easy to find parking.

We stopped by for a snack after church. We had been seeing the king cake nachos online and have to give them a try. So good! the perfect sweet treat. The service was fairly quick and friendly even though they were quite crowded with only two people working. The decor is so cute and bright it just puts you in a good mood! We'll definitely be visiting this gem again!

I am so happy this establishment opened right next to my daughter's school. It gives the kids a safe place to independently walk and get a snack after school without stressing me out! The interior is hip and very cute. The Italian ice cream is superb on top of the great location. Plenty of flavors and options. Great toppings and soft serve also. Dairy free is an added plus. Today I experienced another level of their great customer service. Granny wanted a physical gift card to wrap for Christmas, but granny is two hours away. The owner printed out two cards and paid for the postage to mail. She even sent tracking number and gift card barcodes via text in case the cards are ever lost. Many thanks for going above and beyond when you already provide email gift card delivery on your site! Go there! Support this awesome business so they are around for years! Buy a few gift cards for Christmas Stockings for the kiddos too.

Great desserts! It's beautiful inside and the service is excellent. Would 100% recommend, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions.

We stopped by the new frozen treat spot in our neighborhood and it is great! Wonderful selection and great alternative to snowballs and ice cream. All dairy and gluten free Italian ice and a soft serve for ice cream lovers. Great location right off Jefferson Avenue with indoor seating. Thanks Trevail for creating such a sweet place.
