I came here when another nearby bike shop was unexpectedly closed. I got a beach cruiser for an hour and it was $10 (cash) or $13 (card). You just have to sign a quick waver and give your ID for them to hold while you're out. The bike was old and rusty but worked just fine. Perfect for a casual ride along the beach. I've been to the Hollywood Broadwalk dozens of times, so an hour was perfect for me. If you want to make a lot of stops, you probably want 2+ hours to explore.

Bike rental was quick and easy. Gave ID signed a waiver paid the fee and we were on our way. Prices were cheap $7 for 30 mins and $12 for 1hr. Return process was even easier. Drop off bikes pick up ID. Good customer service.

This is the best idea if you have ANY mobility issues! They have scooters to get you down the boardwalk and it is so easy to rent one!! It is also very reasonable—You just go there and you leave with a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the boardwalk— I added time to my rental and that was also easily done. Ian helped me and was super nice and efficient. I highly recommend!!!!

Bikes are older but prices can’t be beat! My wife, son and I all rented bikes we enjoyed for four days for the price of a 1 or 2 day rental elsewhere.

We were considering two locations for renting bikes to ride on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk: Sun & Fun Cycles & The Bike Shack. Both are located near public parking garages, but you might be able to find 1 hour of street parking for $4-something or 2 hours of street parking for $9.45 (what we paid). If using one of the public parking garages, I think the rates are $10/hr or $50/day. We decided to go with Sun & Fun Cycles since both places seemed to be a toss up in terms of reviews. Also, The Bike Shack is closer to Hollywood Blvd, so our assumption was street parking would be more difficult to secure. We called before committing to a parking spot in order to confirm their location and the availability of the bike we wanted, and all of our questions were answered in a friendly and professional tone over the phone. The bike we chose for our party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 10 and under) was the 4-wheel Surrey. We decided to rent it for (1) hour, which was $35. You can either pay with cash or Zelle (no fees) or do a credit card transaction with a fee. While renting the bike, you leave your ID at the bike shop. We ended up biking for about 45 minutes, riding north to Thomas St, then south to Georgia St, and finally north again to get back to Sun & Fun Cycles. During the ride, we tried having (2) adults and (1) kid on the bench and (1) kid on the bench-basket, and (2) adults on the bench with (2) kids on basket-bench. Each of these seating arrangements worked fine. However, both of the adults had very sore bottoms at the end from the uncomfortable bench seat. Other than that, this was a memorable and fun activity for all.

Small, kind of hidden store that offers bike maintenance and rentals. My family and I rented a surrey bike for 30 minutes for $25. Reasonably priced and friendly service, but the bikes are pretty run down. Ours started making a horrible noise on our way back. Probably due to being in the salt water breeze, but the bikes would definitely benefit from some new chains and parts for sure.

Rented some inline skates. No issues what so ever. Skates were great and service was great!

The bikes for rent are very old and did not ride well. They are located right on Hollywood Blvd but there are many other places to rent from. The man working the day we went in was very friendly.

** Family Friendly** If you happen to be on Hollywood Boardwalk and you see people riding on all different cool bikes or rollerblades, you can rent them from here. All items can be rented for 1/2 hour or 1 hour. Even though one hour makes more sense, the 30 minutes on the "Limo" was long enough for us. This was a covered bike cart which the opportunity for four (4) people to peddle plus a seat basket up front for a toddler aged child. For these carts, an adult must drive the cart. Tip: it is cash only so make sure to bring some with you. They will hold your id while you are out riding so don't forget to get it when you return.

Price was good and the customer service was fabulous. Bikes work well. The owner was nice and I was in communication with him to make sure the weather was nice there. But you have to look good for the spot because the bikes aren't out on the Broadwalk

Visited Hollywood Beach on Memorial Day and walking on the boardwalk found this small business. It is small, but has all kind of cycles. Decided to rent a four wheel cycle for the whole family to ride. It was a really Sun and Fun experience cycling on the boardwalk. Rent a cycle from Sun and Fun Cycles and have some Sun and Fun!

Riding Group Bicycles is an absolute MUST while visiting Hollywood Beach Broadwalk! This is the place to rent them. Friendly, fast service, lots of bicycles in their inventory to choose from to accommodate all group sizes and great prices! It's even more fun than it looks! My family of 6 fits comfortably on their "limo" style bicycle, a covered multi person steering and peddling bike. This is a great way to see all 2.5 miles of the boardwalk and beyond without having to drag the kids along. It's also great for tormenting tourists. My family loves to pile onto a bike and charge down the boardwalk, full speed ahead yelling "no brakes!" We have never actually hit anyone but we have made a lot of people laugh! Don't have kids to drag around? Lucky you! Pile on a bike with a bunch of your friends and sing a Taylor Swift song as loud as you can while cycling along. It makes for great YouTube content. There are also lots of single person bike options, just in case you don't share my sense of adventure or sense of humor. Either way, it's a lot of fun!

Sure, the bikes work fine and it's affordable, but the guy running the shop is an absolute A-hole. Not helpful and made rude comments to us. You're better off spending your money somewhere where they'll actually appreciate your business.

We walked up to rent bikes here. Guy working was in his phone the whole time. Not discussing anything work related that should have prevented him from waiting on us. Discussing his portfolio and what he thought his stocks would do. Also twice as expensive as the place around the corner. We ended up walking away and were happy to make yhat decision.

Amazing customer service! I had planned a birthdays party for one of my friends. 12 of us were to dine on the beach then rent bikes. I had originally reserved bikes from another nearby shop, but was thoroughly disappointed when they did not have what we reserved and didn't seem to care at all that they messed up. My group and I made our way down to Sun and Fun Cycles unannounced. Jim was absolutely amazing! He went out of his way to accommodate my group, he even gave us a discount because we work on the beach. It had been raining a little earlier and he and his guys made sure everything was nice and dry before we took off. Jim, thank you so much. We had a blast. You truly saved our night!

Wonderful place with great service and an amazing selection of bikes for all kinds of groups and ages. This place was an absolute life-saver for me and my daughter after she fell and busted up her bike on the boardwalk. Super helpful and kind employee (thanks again, Anthony!) helped us fix the gears super quickly and then we continued having our fun day out at the boardwalk. Can't sing them enough praises, best place in Hollywood to rent some great bikes!

Great morning cardio riding these bikes! It was a fun time & they have reasonable pricing.

Great service and value! I hadn't done this since I was a kid, and purchased a Groupon when a friend visited. The Groupon was worth $30. The 2-person surrey we rented was $25/hour, and they offered for us to keep it an hour and ten minutes. It took about 5 min to give them our information and get riding. This is not the bike shop near the parking lot. It's actually closer to the park on Sheridan, and it was a lot of fun to ride through there and then through the tree-lined neighborhoods past it.

While strolling the boardwalk in Hollywood. We rode the red rocket, it was two seater with a large red thingy going through the center. The staff was helpful and the price was right. Check them out if you are wanting a casual stroll down the boardwalk.

I just got off the phone with them and a young man picked up the phone and all he said was "hello?" Did not mention his name or the business name. I asked if it was Sun and Fun Cycles and there was no response. I hung up and called again and the same man picked up and answered "hello?" I again asked if it was Sun and Fun Cycles and he said yes. I said I needed to rent a low rider bike and I asked what the rates were and for how long. He responded, "ok, yeah what about it". I again told him I needed the pricing and rates to rent a low rider bike. He told me "$12 an hour". I said thank you and we both hung up. I felt as though it was very rude and he did not have good customer service skills. However the pricing seems fair and there is a groupon online for them. I will be going there on Thursday! So a 3 for great pricing but not so good customer service! Will let you know if the service improves by going in person!
