Sun Nails

Came in for a gel removal + no polish mani and regular pedicure. Both were horrible. My nails are more busted now (have some leftover gel still on + check that shaping job) than they were when I walked in with grown out gel manicure and I got a rash from the roughness of the supposed to be 5 minutes massage but only lasted 2 minutes at best. I feel bad for everyone who had to hear me keep saying ouch as she ROUGHLY removed my gel manicure. Never going here again.

I love it! The experience was actually good. I went in at 11am without an appointment and I was taken care of in less than 5 minutes, I got acrylics for the first time :). The nail artist that took care of me, was so gentle and he was kind. Definitely worth the money, and now that I know they do other services, I'm definitely coming back!!!! They even offered me beverages and snacks, so thoughtful!

The ladies are very attentive and I took my toddler. Very toddler friendly. They also have parking in the back and there's always parking up front as well. I'm really good experience. They accept cash, card and zelle.

This was my spot but after paying $98 for a basic manicure (no paint) + gel pedicure, I don’t think I can ever come back. Left feeling robbed.

Sun Nails is awesome! They always do an exceptional job; from nail art, to gels or dip powder, and regular mani/pedi. I highly recommend!

First time at sun nails, such an amazing experience. All the workers made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I got my nails done by Duke and it came out so beautifully and he also gave me some awesome advice and was also very sweet! The lady that did my pedicure was so sweet and was very gentle. I was taken care of like I was family!! I recommend 100% and I will definitely be coming back. We need more nail salons like this.

I’ve been a client for 14 years Not anymore …. I went in last week and got a gel manicure and a pedicure spent $85 Within two Days, both of my thumbnails broke below On the side of the nail. When I went back in to have them fix the issue, they wanted to charge me five dollars a nail. With the cost of everything these days and being a regular client for all these years, they did not accommodate me. So bye-bye Sun Nails I’m looking for a new nail place you lost a client

Unfortunately Sun Nails has gone downhill. They rarely are able to maintain appointment times, their technicians can be very slow and the quality isn't great. I typically arrive at 5 and a gel builder fill takes until around 2-2.5hrs. For the past 7 weeks at least one of my nails has popped off from each set over a two week period. The prices seem to be inching up but that's not made clear to either during the service or anywhere in the shop. Calling them can be really annoying too- they just kind of wander off during your call with them and then you have to wait either until they come back to respond to you, or hang up because they don't. Pretty frustrating. Excellent pedicures every time though. Hopefully they'll improve on timing and quality.

First time here, loved my experience. Great customer service and attention to detail. They did exactly what I asked for. Very clean. Loved it will be coming back.

Got my gel nails done for Italy and they didn't even last a week- now I'm out the money & have shitty nails in Italy!!!

I usually get my nails done by Vincent I've been coming here for nearly 11 years, yesterday I popped in for a quick regular mani and pedi and I was extremely unsatisfied with their work. I didn't see how bad it was until I washed my hands this morning and all the oil was gone from my hands, even part of my nail polish is chipping. Note to everyone if you don't do Gel or Gelx they will not do a good job. Even the cuticles weren't cleaned out properly.

Great nail bar- affordable and super speedy but quality! The manager walks around and offers water if she's not tied up with other customers- that's a nice touch!

Bob took his time! He was thorough. He was personable, gentle and did such an impressionable job on my gel fill. I will certainly roll with him upon returning. They have hella polish options. They offer you lil mini bottles of water. The decor is decor'ing. There's chill music playing. The prices are decent considering the array of options. The shop offers add on services including, but not limited to hot stones, massages, facials and all the scrubs. You can really get it in here with a spa vibe. They even do lashes. Massage chairs are available while you get your pedicure on. There's an atm available. There is ample parking on Rampart (side street) without having to hit the meters and metered parking available on Sunset. Just make sure you read those signs.

I came here last night to relax and take a break from my busy life. I was very disappointed. I showed up around 7 not knowing they were closing soon I felt rushed. I should have followed my instincts and left. First of all they assigned a really young man who didn't speak English to do my pedicure. It was super uncomfortable I am married and don't like strange men touching me. I didn't say anything because I was trying not to make a big deal. I had an ingrown toenail and the guy couldn't get it out. Overall he didn't know what he was doing. He didn't even soak my feet and when I said something he finally soaked my feet. He didn't put anything in the water just plain water no soap or bath balm. It was ridiculous. When I complained about my ingrown toenails they had 2 other women try to get it out with no success. I was tired of them messing with my toe so I left it alone. The guy painted my nails just ok. When I left my toe was hurting it started bleeding by the time I got home. Don't go here it's not relaxing. I have 4 kids and don't have time to go out I try to treat myself once in a while to the nail salon. It wasn't relaxing and uncomfortable , just seemed like nobody knew what they were doing!!!!!!! Horrible

Always a pleasure with Mimi with the pedicure and Vincent with the manicure. This is the only place I trust and come to faithfully. Both are very sweet people and they have me coming back. Thank you both

My first salon review! Had an okay experience here for my first visit. I came by on New Year's eve for a chrome gel-x and they were able to fit me in right away. I've been to many nail salons and worked at one as well so i have a familiarity of basic protocols and what not. The salon has a lot of white bright features with black detailing. There's plenty of individual manicure & pedicure stations and lots of nail techs available. It's not the prettiest nor the absolute cleanest salon i've been to. Im actually concerned about how sterile they are with their tools and overall salon. At one point, i noticed one of the nail nail techs eating their lunch on one of the pedicure station. Tracy pampered me that visit and was quick with doing my gel-x. When she cut my cuticles, two fingers were slightly bleeding but i didn't think it was a big deal. The issue however was, during not even 24 hours after having this set, one nail popped off. I was able to come into the salon and they immediately found time to repair that nail and start over without charging me of course. Overall, the outcome of my nails were not disappointing. I actually thought it was really cute! Would i come here again? Yes of course. In total for a new set of almond gel x + chrome i paid a total of $75.

I love the service Bri provided today. She was professional, caring, and helped me during my scheduled visit. The atmosphere is relaxing and positive. Bri is very meticulous and extremely careful in everything she does. She went above and beyond during my appointment. Truly an angel and so very kind. Thai is another sweet and caring person. She always greets me with a smile and exceeds my expectations. This is my favorite nail salon! Highly recommend. They will not disappoint.

They took us last min no appointment. They did my kids full set n my infected toes .. Jenny was great to say the least. She let me nap made sure my phone didn't fall into the water n she so nice upbeat and very genuine .. all in all it was the best

It's clean and very easy to park in front with meters! They have a large staff and are very friendly with plenty of colors to choose from!

I called in same day and requested an appointment with the best nail tech's Bri & Chi. (Trust me) They are extremely patient and have an impeccable eye for detail and quality assurance. I got a gel mani and pedi, Bri made my nails look like I got an acrylic set, these are my nails!

I got a full gel set of a Christmas set and it came out so nice , bri took her time & did it very detailed. Totally recommend her ! The place is nice & it's very welcoming! Totally recommend this place

I've been coming here for about 8 years. Always get my pedicure with Mimi, she's so sweet and the absolute best, she's meticulous, takes the time to do an above and beyond pedicure, I don't let anyone touch my feet unless is Mimi. She's usually busy but she's worth the wait. I also get my regular manicure with Cindy as she's so good with my cuticles and also takes her time to do a good job.

Mimi was very nice she made sure all my needs requested was met also was very professional, She did not make me feel uncomfortable and was assuring.. Pedicure put me back on my game and the music was a vibe ! Can't forget the Callus remover massage was amazing!

Each time Vince has done my nails, I have been pleased. BUT even after making an appointment, I have had to wait between 30 min to an hour on multiple occasions. This is ridiculous! I understand them being 10-15 min late getting to you even with appointment, almost an hour is just ridiculous and inconsiderate! Threw off other appointments/ errands I had planned for the day. They don't even ask if someone else can assist when they see the person you're waiting for us taking much longer with their previous customer. Please respect your customers' time just as we respect yours by showing up on time for your techs.

Gave this place another chance, they sat me in the chair to get a pedicure just to wait an additional 30min and nothing . Got up and left ! You shouldn't sit people in a chair unless ur ready to help them . Ridiculous! Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't come back!!

0! Big ZERO! No star if possible. Do not come here. These people will charge you even for the air you breathe. I came in yesterday for a SPA DELUXE PEDICURE with callus removal, scrub, hot stone, and hot towel and the lady who did my toes did not understand a single word. My toes were not square per my request and Maya had to come help her clean the ingrown nails. Maya cleaned my ingrown and went back to doing a nail set without washing with soap. She simply rinsed at the pedicure chair with water only. Ms. Lady took more than two hours to complete and no champagne, water, or juice was provided and it states in the menu. I did not end up getting a hot stone and hot towel because it was longer than I anticipated and STILL got charged for everything. Maya did a simple manicure with exfoliating scrub, no nails or color whatsoever and tried to charge me $55 when the menu states $35. If I had not read the menu before hand they would have charged me the $55. Do not come here, save your money.

TERRIBLE !!!! They didn't do anything right . The man who did my nails did them terribly . He didn't even try at all . So many air bubbles in my nail the shape is wrong , and he even cut me a few times . This is not even what I asked for . I asked for a French tip but after seeing that he couldn't do even a basic French tip I asked to just leave like this ! They charged me wayyyy too much for this and this set is ugly to be frank w you all . My toes are even worse .... LANA DID MY FEET AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE . The color is turning brown on my feet!!!! They were white now brown because of the gel she used I feel like she did this on purpose I will never ever be coming back here again . They don't care to keep you satisfied just wanna get you in and out in a hurry smh if I could give them -10 stars I would smh

I came in to get a pedicure for my anniversary. Thi did my pedicure and she was very nice. She took her time and was attentive to detail. It's hard to find good nail salons nowadays but everyone here is friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

This is my first time coming here.. I will say customer service was very great. Unfortunately, my nail artist had to redo my nails three or four times and while I'm all up for correcting the mistake but as I got home I realize that my two index nails instead of looking like sisters they are looking like cousins lol. Nonetheless, it was again great customer service but now I'm just really thinking about the $80. I just spent for this. Ouch.

I've been coming to Sun Nails for a few years, and I always appreciate the time and care given to my nails. I usually get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Mimi, Cindy, Vincent and Ana to name a few, do an excellent job and my nails end up lasting for at least a few weeks. During peak seasons (around the holidays, graduations, etc.) expect a wait time. If you call ahead you might have a better chance of getting a shorter wait. Overall, I always enjoy my experience here.
