Givens described the vision as supporting homesteaders raising goats and chickens and honey producers and connecting chefs and artisans with local products, but repeated city permit delays pushed the launch back to December—“and that’s just a maybe”—which caused many prospective tenants to leave. Because she can’t open and operate CSK in the red, Givens and her partner Dillon Debauche have been scouting other locations and alternative options.
