Sunbeam Vintage’s floor has a mix of new items and vintage. I wouldn’t have an issue with this if it was noted more around the shop. When I happened to pick an item for purchase, I went with my assumption that this was a curated vintage store with second-hand ‘modern’ furniture items. The tag for the item I purchased listed the price and that it was a yellow swivel chair. It did not list that it was a new item. I even mentioned to one of the sale reps working the floor that I liked that the item was a vintage version of an Ikea chair and they agreed with me. I typically do my research for larger purchases, but in this moment I didn’t. I went off the trust of the business that they did their own research and charged me a fair, reasonable price. This is why I was surprised and honestly insulted when I did a reverse image search on the chair and saw it listed for $127-$167 on Amazon and Wayfair. I spent just under $500 on it after taxes. When I confronted a Sunbeam staff member, they told me they do sell new items and mark the price up for assembly and the convenience of viewing. I asked them if a 300% mark up seemed reasonable for that. To their credit, they did issue me a refund. However, the refund never arrived in my account. As a courtesy, I gave them 3-7 business days. When I confronted them I never received my refund, one of the employees told me that the owner could not refund my card and asked for my PayPal info. The ‘PayPal refund’ never came through. I then reported the charge to my bank to ensure I got my refund processed correctly. I wanted to support a small business. I wanted to not buy poorly made online furniture. I wanted to not write this review. However, I think it’s important for people to know that not everything here is vintage, prices accordingly, or that you will be treated respectfully after your transaction. If you shop here, keep your Google image search handy. When they re-listed the chair I bought, they lowered the price down to $300.

Everything is done online and I tried to see if they would buy some items and got turned down. Another kinda shop that moves into the neighborhood like these coffee corner shops trying to push some folks out making me feel like I’m the unwanted visitor. The neighborhood was there before the fancy remodeled homes and fancy privacy gates and will be there after. You can’t change the streets, thanks for the put down. Wouldn’t recommend this place especially if you’re not looking to be put down.

Fantastic selection but the prices are absurd. Chair for $350? They got it. Table that looks drabby but super cool vintage? $950. They will try to tell you it is some rare item but just go somewhere else for the same and better prices.

We purchased one of the made to order sectionals and it is quality. The fabric and craftsmanship are unmatched. The customer service is one of a kind. Thank you for all your help, Steve! He is the best problem solver around :) I cannot say enough good things about this store! A+++

We had a fantastic experience at Sunbeam Vintage! Courtney was excellent she was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect chair for our new apartment. The store has a relaxed vibe, especially on a Saturday morning, with tons of options and customization available. It’s clean, which isn’t always the case with vintage stores, and the selection is amazing. The team even helped us load our purchase into the car. We couldn’t be happier!

I’m a serious vintage lover. This places reputation is well known in the vintage scene. Came in for the first time today & I love it!!!!! One of those incredible vintage stores with gem after gem after gem packed into their space! No stuffy attitudes or ridiculous amounts of dust here. I found some rare vintage pieces that I have never seen in person before. One of their staff Johnny was extremely helpful getting an item down for me! :) 5 stars all around - don’t miss this place!

This place is actually called "Centro De Regeneración." It's owned by Zack De La Rocha and it's spacious. Underground bands play there all the time. Thank you Zack!

The staff and services are excellent, but the prices and build quality are incredibly disappointing. We purchased a couch, and within two weeks the cushions began splitting at the seams. We exchanged it for a different model, only to have the same issue occur again. We take good care of our furniture and have a small dog (under 10 lbs) that doesn't scratch or dig. At this point, we're keeping the couch out of sheer spite--there's no point in exchanging it again if this is the standard quality. Buyer beware: the high price tags do not guarantee well-made furniture.

I've been coming to, browsing and buying items here for 10+ years. I've had friends tell me that they've found the exact pieces on Amazon & Wayfair at lower prices but I ignored it because I want to support a small business. My partner & I ordered 2 pieces, a coffee table and a "modern" side table. We estimated shipping for where we live on their website. It was $100 per item of furniture. I decided to go pick it up. On a weekeday, it'd be a 50 minute round trip. When ordering online they ask that you arrange a pickup window. We chose a day & time. The time arrived & the order still read as processing. I called their number on Google multiple times to see if I should come pick up the piece. No answer. I checked the confirmation email & it read: "Please Text ( do not call) for assistance if needed (323) 908-9" The phone number is completely cut off in the email. I texted the google number & was informed that my coffee table was available for pickup but that my side table takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. I explained to them that nowhere on the page of the item does it say it's not currently in stock at the store. Mariain formed me that it was & that "a lot of people miss it. The website read "Ramona Side Table has a 3 to 4 week ETA during the holidays". When I told them this, they took some time to reply & told me I read it wrong. I checked the website & they had CHANGED THE WORDING (screenshots attached). I drove to the address that was listed in the email. The email explicitly stated: "pick up is NOT at our Regular Showroom Location" I circled 4 times looking for the entrance that didn't exist. Against THE STORE'S OWN PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS I went to the showroom where I found my table sitting on the sidewalk. No wrap like with all other items I've purchased, no sold sign. I spoke to a woman about the wrong address in the email. She rolls her eyes and says "I've told them to change that. I don't know why our email still says that." No sorry for the misunderstanding, no apology, no attempt to make me wasting my time because of their mistake right. No customer service at all. I double check to make sure they don't have the side table anywhere in their showroom as well & I'm informed again that the website clearly states that it takes 2-3 weeks. I show her the website on my phone where it says no such thing. She then smiles & says "it's almost Halloween, that's kind of a holiday." Like I'm sorry, are we in high school? What is this???? Are ya'll an actual business or am I at an open mic? I don't wanna take time out of my day to come pick up a side table that I thought was ready when I've already shown up once. I politely ask if they can waive the $100 delivery fee & deliver the piece when it's ready. I'm told that I live "really far away" and that it would cost "way more in gas & time than $100 to deliver to my neighborhood." and that the delivery fee was $250. I said I could have selected $100 delivery online, I was told that delivery would have been cancelled if I hadn't coughed up an extra 150% charge after paying the initial delivery fee. Now I'm feeling like I'm getting a shake down. It's worth noting, I'm E of the 405 and S of the 101, at this point, I'm about to whip out a map & do a geography class cause I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Some quick math. 16 miles in a truck that gets 8 mpg is about $8, let's call it $17 round trip which isn't even how a delivery works cause there'd be other stops but whatever. Two guys in a truck to lift a 5 pound table. They're making $25/hr. For those keeping score at home we're at a liberal cost to the business of $67. And if they had said "our bad, we'll knock the delivery fee to $50" I would've taken it in . Instead they said "how about $200?" Eventually "we'll honor $100." I ended my interaction with "This is absurd, y'all need a new website and email system." To which the employee laughed and said "I know." What???? Talk about hitting it out of the park with customer service. The employee pointed at my table on the sidewalk where any dog could have peed on it & when I said it wasn't wrapped despite me having scheduled a pickup (which was now an hour past thanks to their shenanigans) the employee informed me that if I hung out they would find someone to wrap it. I put it in my trunk and dipped. 2 weeks later, I picked up the (unwrapped) side table. From the build quality, it was clear I'd been ripped off. I probably could have found it online for cheaper. As I took it out of my car when I arrived home, I noticed 2 of the legs were loose. They hadn't even bothered to screw them in all the way. Bro, I'm never coming here again. Lmao. After a decade of recommending this place, I suggest you stay far away.

Bought a "vintage" bar cart. Just found it on Wayfair for $100 cheaper than we bought it for. You guys should be ashamed.

Lots of used stuff from Amazon and wayfair presented as vintage and marked up 50 percent. Do an image search and make sure you aren't being ripped off. They should be investigated for fraud as other commenters have noticed this as well.

You should be ashamed for ripping people off this badly!! Photos below of the SAME product for 1/3 of the price and RETURNABLE on Amazon. I have found some good stuff in here which I'm sure is dropshipped from wayfair or something. You pay more for a finders fee. This is an excellent showroom to find unique pieces from Amazon. Go to get ideas.

On the surface this store is a cool place for finding unique vintage furniture. It is staged well and provides a lot of creative inspiration, but unfortunately I will not be supporting this establishment ever again. I have purchased pieces in the past, but similar to other reviewers I echo the sentiment that the quality is not up to par. Most importantly, I will never support this business again because of an encounter my husband and I witnessed while visiting the store. A homeless individual had wandered into the store, and whereas I do understand the frustration and the need to protect your business, there is no rationalization for the way that the employees of Sunbeam Vintage completely and utterly abused this man. Not only did they scream and cuss at him in front of all the customers, but they also physically assaulted him. As my husband and I were leaving the store, we watched as an employee physically dragged this man across the hot asphalt and left him in the middle of the road. I have never been so shocked and disturbed. We ended up cancelling our order after this event because we will never support a business that allows for the complete dehumanization and abuse of another human being. Whereas they did accept the cancellation of our order, it was deeply disappointing that their response to the situation was that they let "their emotions get the best of them." There is never an excuse for that sort of behavior, and I am truly disgusted. I wish we had never bought anything from Sunbeam Vintage in the past, but their true colors were shown and we will never make that mistake again. I highly discourage the support of this business.

I recently bought an Aviation desk from Sunbeam Vintage. I dealt with Steve and it couldn't have gone any smoother! He was very helpful, got the desk delivered to me very quickly and professionally. Price was amazing, the product was fantastic, we are in love with the desk. I highly recommend this company! They are a pleasure to deal with.

Came in yesterday and purchased a coffee table for $430. When I got home, I checked Yelp and saw a complaint about the exact table I purchased. On Amazon, the table sells for $179. I'm really really disappointed in this place. It sucks because it's a wonderful place to shop. Aesthetically it's great and the people working there were friendly. I can't get behind that mark up, however. They should also tell customers that all sales are final before they purchase.

Was treated very rude , because the sales person by the name of Steve was under the impression that I was not there to buy....but very nice merchandise at this place, very nice!

This used to be such a solid place for finding well priced high quality vintage furniture. Recently, I've been so disappointed to see that several of their pieces are mark ups from Amazon or Wayfair - see below. I am sad to see such a wonderful place succumb to this.

Paid $600 for this type of quality. Might look pretty on the outside but they don't disclose the imperfections. Feel incredibly stupid buying from this annoying business.

I am extremely disappointed to find my order was processed by an Amazon print service! I bought the black framed "eye" piece shown on this page as a surprise for my girlfriend after we saw it in person at store and thought I was supporting a local business and buying something real and unique.  They did not reply to any correspondence once they had my money. Then they turn around and just dump an order into Amazon, completely hands free, making them part of the bigger problem. It arrived newly printed from an Amazon direct printing service along with my usual Prime delivery. Their website offering "free delivery" within a certain vicinity feels like a confirmation I was getting the piece I saw in your store, delivered locally. Furthermore, Google image search reveals an Australian company selling the same print for under $35 US, while they sell the same image repeatedly for $150 US! https://www.nordicnest.com/brands/bloomingville/bloomingville-poster-45x65-cm/ No artist is noted, so I seriously doubt they have any right to be replicating this image. I see other reviews of them doing the same thing with cheap furniture. I am incredibly put off by this and feel mislead. I will never purchase from here again. Liars. Con artists. Thieves. Now I have to tell my girlfriend my experience and probably regift it because I can't hang something on my wall that reminds me of being ripped off every time I see it.

I came on to leave a review and sadly I see I'm not alone; specifically with store credit not being honored. First of all, I tried to resolve my issue with the store manager and I also tried to contact the owner by phone and email. Sunbeam has acknowledged my complaint via email, but it's now past the deadline they set to respond to me by. At the end of 2019 I purchased two items online and picked them up in store. Upon bringing the items home and unpacking them I realized they were not vintage, but vintage inspired - new and poorly made. After reaching out and addressing my concerns I was able to return my items for store credit. I will note after my complaint there was better clarity in their listing of what was vintage and what was new. Granted I've seen "vintage" at Sunbeam from as recent as the 1990s via Pier 1, so that term is loosely used. Pandemic hit and I've been looking off and on their site for something to use my credit for. I was recently in the area and decided to pop in and finally use my store credit. I found two vintage items and upon checking out when I first mentioned I had credit the response was the it would be really hard to pull that up since it was so long ago. I mentioned I had emails, texts, even a voicemail from two past employees to help track down my credit, the response to that was that store credit was only good for 12 months. If Sunbeam has unique terms, one should be notified when the credit was issued or via the webpage. Mocking a customer for trying to use store credit for what are seemingly common terms amongst other retailers is not only unnecessary, but unprofessional. After what transpired I reached out to a couple other stores about their store credit terms, and their response was that store credit does not expire. This backs up my general assumption. I offered a solution in the store; the two items that I was looking to purchase in exchange for my entire store credit. The two items were worth half the amount of my credit. When the comprise was not accepted, I made it clear, twice, I had no interest in buying either of the items. After some persistence pressure from an employee I walked out with one item, which should not have transpired. I had no intention of giving Sunbeam any more business when previous credit could not be honored. I will be donating the item. I also will be reporting Sunbeam to the Department of Consumer Affairs. They should not be allowed to make a profit off of taking advantage of people. I would like to reiterate Sunbeam has had the appropriate amount of time given to address my complaints and concerns this is not the forum for it. This review is meant for potential future customers.

Do not shop here unless you want to get ripped off. Bought a "painting" description omitted print on canvas. No response from the store. Don't put "one of a kind art" in a description for a drop shipped print.

Really used to love coming here. Was great for inspiration, especially when MCM was just starting to become popular again. Recently, it has been a pretty big bummer and not worth your time if looking for *actual* vintage. We walked by the other weekend and I noticed a bench sitting outside.. and immediately knew it had come from the Studio Mcgee Target line, released earlier this year (and in pretty poor condition). I remarked to my boyfriend that it couldn't possibly be getting set up to be sold... since it's from a very popular target line. I just checked their site and found that they in fact HAD listed and sold it for $250. You can order a brand new one from target.com for a whopping $170. Huge bummer for whoever paid that much for a target bench in poor condition. That same trip I noticed a few other items that were clearly from Wayfair/Amazon/Overstock. Either Sunbeam is being dishonest, or they're not doing their research properly. Will not be coming back. ***Edited: I changed review from 2 stars to one. I posted this before seeing the other reviews - they are all saying the same thing and hopefully this is more proof. They obviously know this is an issue and are purposefully being dishonest.

Lol at the owner trying to "make sense" of this. You lied and that's all there is to it. Look at your emails and see how many times I reached out. Also Jacob said one week, I asked 3x's bc I needed it before I moved. He never said 16 days. Also when I called for a refund, you or whomever said "no refunds" don't try to claim to give me a refund now on Yelp. That's why I called my credit card company at day 10 to file a claim. At that point not one person called me back or responded to my emails. The reviews here are correct, this "minority owned" business is a complete sham. Stay far far away, if you want furniture from Amazon or wayfair, just buy it directly from them for over 50% cheaper. This isn't bullying, it's the gods honest truth.

If I don't have time to dig through East Side estate sales or flea markets, this place is always a sure bet. After nearly a decade of shopping at Sunbeam, every experience has been consistently positive. A fantastic rotating assortment of eclectic vintage furniture at fair prices and great customer service to boot.

Despite what I see in some of the reviews, I had a good experience with Sunbeam Vintage. I purchased two Link Taylor nightstands labeled "vintage" online and I picked them up in excellent condition. I am a novice when it comes to buying vintage, but they look legitimate to me, and they seem to be higher quality than nightstands I could have bought for a similar price at a trendy mass-market furniture store. The nightstands are solid wood, which was an important selling point for me. I shopped around on numerous furniture sites to compare prices, and was satisfied with the price offered at Sunbeam Vintage. I was pleased with the pick up process - two employees plastic wrapped the nightstands for me and put them in my car for me. The furniture was ready within 2 minutes of my arrival at the store. I will consider Sunbeam Vintage again when looking for vintage / eclectic / unique furniture. Seems like I'll just have to be careful not to select anything "modern" and hope that the store remains transparent to other customers about the quality / type of product that they're selling. Sunbeam Vintage, if you are up-selling furniture from mass distributors, please be upfront about it! Thank you.

What a bunch of absolute crooks. Last year they sold us a "vintage" clock which was to be a present for my mom. Upon unpackaging the clock, it looked like it had been through a washing machine - all banged up and dented and marked. When calling up to enquire, they said this was the "vintage" look, but in reality It looked like street garbage. Sunbeam refused to offer a refund, but after much debate they agreed to issue a store credit for later use. Well, one year on, they refuse to acknowledge our credit and have yelled at us on the phone and refuse to answer us via their customer support email address. As far as we are concerned, they've stolen our money. We've written this off - but please for the love of god DO NOT SHOP AT SUNBEAM VINTAGE!

My first purchase at a vintage store! I bought a set of 4 leather barstools (not pictured) for my wine room (i.e., man cave) because they went well with the rustic western theme. The stools were new not vintage, but the point is buy what you like and you will be happy. I just went in to browse but the stools caught my attention and I ordered them. Still waiting for them to come in and excited to see them in their new home. Prices are on the high side in my opinion, but again if you like it you, like it, right? I believe most pieces are actually vintage, but there are some items that are new. I will definitely be a regular browser especially while I'm looking to refurnish some rooms in my home. Sunbeam gets my vote of approval!

This is a nice store but NEVER buy their furniture without taking a look at it first in person. They have photos online but do not disclose imperfections. I get it, it takes time to write descriptions but when I inquired about piece I was interested in to ask about any big damages, etc. they said that for a limited time they have free delivery that won't last so just pay right now. I kind of left uncomfortable. I went to go see it in store and glad I did because when I saw it in person it was not worth the price. It is very overpriced compared to other second hand/vintage furniture shops.

Purchased a vintage sofa from here. We supplied our own fabric. Upholstery job is very sloppy. Giving a one star review after multiple attempts to get in contact with them regarding yardage used and still no response. I bought 7 additional yards of fabric to use to make pillows and they returned me a measly scrap that can't even make one pillow. They have not returned my messages. Don't shop here

They sell vintage looking pieces for vintage prices. I bought a leather dog, they claimed it was vintage. I noticed a cut off tag on the back of it, so I googled it. It was on Home Depot's website for HALF THE PRICE. Just yesterday they had a mirror that someone called out as being from world market. They claimed theirs was vintage, got countered, then deleted the post. They have the TV stand I got off Touch of Modern or something for $250 for $500. I've seen joybird pieces in their store for 20% more than what joybird sells it for They're great for inspiration, but absolutely google anything and everything there. I guess it would be like if I opened a vintage store, I don't know anything and would just hope it's old.

Just got a "vintage" couch. Service was friendly and quick, but the couch is uncomfortable. The no-return policy only exacerbates it. Pretty sure you can get the same couch on Wayfair where you can at least have a chance to return it.

Most of what they sell seems to be vintage "style" but made to order, not actual vintage. The "paintings" are pretty much mostly prints on canvas. The rest that IS vintage, is pretty junky. Very disappointing. I was hoping to find some nice furniture. What a waste of time. Not going back there again.

A few months ago I bought a Bart cart after being told it was vintage and the last one they'd ever get. I went back yesterday to pick something else up but this time I read the reviews. I took a closer look and sure enough this is a scam. They are buying cheap furniture and putting it together (IKEA style) and up selling like crazy. It's dishonest and they lied straight to my face because I saw the same bar cart yesterday. On top of that it brings me to the bigger picture....gentrification. Your selling your items at such a high price claiming quality and taking away business from local furniture places who ARE actually building theirs from scratch! order from all modern and get it cheaper and delivered or have a local custom make what you want.

I recently purchased a chair from them. When the chair arrived it turned out to be damaged, big cosmetic flaw/ missing a very noticeable button but the ad pictures where taken from an angle to "hide" this. I contacted them immediately and told them the pictures were misleading and truthfully I found it quite shady that they had clearly tried to hide the cosmetic flaw and I wanted to return the chair. The purchase was at around 1000 dollars so it just didn't sit right. They told me purchases are non refundable and offered to fix it and came to collect the chair again. After a few days I asked again if I could return the chair as I truthfully just didn't trust them at this point and there are so many other vintage shops where I could get something similar that doesn't go about it in a shady way. After lots of back and forth AND them mistaking me for another customer that also wanted a refund they again stated all purchases are non refundable and they would offer us store credit but not for the ridiculously pricey 250 delivery fee they charge. So it came down to either giving them 250 dollars for a store credit at a place we are never gonna shop at again or keeping the chair. We kept the chair! Every interaction I had with them was unpleasant from the moment of purchase. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your vintage purchases as this company has in my opinion little to no integrity and their no refund policy is used to pedal bad quality merchandise and forcing people to overpay. Ps, I read the reviews before ordering and naively thought ah that's probably just a one off ad photo vs real chair attached.

We literally found the exact same piece they were selling at their store on amazon (and for much less). We had high hopes for this place and even gave it a chance after the other reviews were suggesting the same thing, then disappointed to find out the same as others. Not sure if other vintage stores do this, but a letdown. No agenda with this post, just a customer hoping to find some original vintage or custom pieces.

Reiterating the other reviews on here. We were duped into buying a couch for $2500 that we later found listed Homethreads new for $1800. They labeled it some fake name so a quick google in the store didn't show us the real version of the couch. Do not trust anything in the store or the employees. Wish I would have looked at the reviews before buying.

This place is fantastic-overload! So many great pieces. We were looking for mid-century type furniture and we certainly were overwhelmed with choices. Their prices are reasonable, and Mario helped us out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased this Danish credenza that had literally just arrived. Super excited to bring it home!

I've been into this store several times, made purchases and was BLOCKED by them on Instagram because their page is getting political. I stated that I was following them to see and purchase vintage items, not get a political lecture. To block a client so easily clearly shows that their rhetoric is more important than their clientele. I am disgusted by their actions, immaturity and clear lack of professionalism. So much for small businesses showing appreciation, especially on these trying times.

This place is very big and does have some nice things here and there, but it is VERY overpriced and a lot of the stuff is not vintage at all. Every price tag I looked at I could feel the location's rent coasting through my veins. In my opinion this place does not need to be nearly as big - it spans multiple large rooms and even has multiple entrances through multiple buildings, but they really don't need the rooms with the cheap-looking-but-expensive tacky art prints for sale. The person helping was also not particularly friendly - when we asked if we had seen everything he said yes, only for us to find a whole other entrance to a whole other part of the store after leaving. If you're looking for a "steal" or some unique vintage finds that you may scoop up on a whim, this is NOT your place and you will not have a particularly good time browsing. Go to a flea market instead. For the prices here, you might as well buy new or at a vintage store with more curation, integrity, and character.

I'm DONE with Sunbeam Vintage. They are complete SCAM artists. I bought a dining table from them a few years ago for nearly $1000. Just recently I purchased a "modern" credenza media unit for nearly $600 dollars from them - Sunbeam claimed it was custom built by their local furniture carpenter. The credenza is actually a mass produced knockoff you can buy on Wayfair and even Walmart.com for $200!!!!! I should of known and stupid me falling for their sales pitch. However these guys are criminal and tactics like this will come back to bite them! DO NOT SHOP here and Google search everything they sell and display - chances are it's a knockoff you can find elsewhere for a fraction of the price!

Scam stuff! Well, at least some of it. They typically have really cool stuff so I follow them on Instagram. I noticed they posted a mirror that looked super similar to mine that I got at generic Cost Plus World Market assuming mine was like some knock off of their original. Upon looking, I realized it was the exact same one and they were selling it for twice as much and passing it off and a unique vintage piece. I commented on the post and they deleting me for pointing it out!!! I just assumed they would have said they made a mistake. Now I see the other reviews on here and it totally makes sense. Shady stuff going on.

Beware of this store .. I don't do social media .. other than to follow local deals and to get style inspiration.. after hearing some reviews about fake or upmarket pieces .. I called them out on insta last week and they blocked me .. how lame .. they even delated my comments ... don't be fooled they had these two going for a deal at 750 when on amazon they are 175 ... we really need more integrity in this business .. but hey, what do I know I only have advanced degrees in restoration and art history ...

They are the best! I bought a credenza from them a year ago. Recently, there was an accident with a drill, a boyfriend, and the front center of the door panel. I called around to furniture repair shops and was appalled by their quotes of ranges around $400! So I removed the damaged door, returned to Sunbeam, showed them the damage, and within 2 days I had a fixed door. No charge!!!!!!! Needless to say my boyfriend walked away unscathed. I can't thank you enough Sunbeam! You're generous, and have quality customer service.

A blast from the past! A real nice set of furniture pieces that were either refurnished or recreated from the 60s, 70s and 80s. You'll find some unique type furniture not cookie cutter. They have some exquisite looking chairs that are not only stylish but also comfortable. The prices are certainly not your typical furniture chain prices. They have some solid wood and oak furniture that weigh a ton. My friend found herself a pretty colorful coat rack that can be wall mounted with large colorful balls. It cost a pretty penny, but for the price and style and convenience, it was worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is along the street with limited time.

BUYER BEWARE! This place gets two stars simply because it puts together a great stock of mid century vintage and mid century modern furniture. With that said before you buy ANYTHING here do a google search FIRST and DO YOUR RESEARCH. They are selling lamps sold at Target, Lamps Plus, and coffee tables sold on Amazon with a ridiculous mark up. A $75 dollar lamp at Target is renamed and sold for $200!! I found the exact same $650 coffee table on Amazon for only $289! They do indeed have some unique furniture that is very good quality and hand made, but much of their shop is just stuff that is purchased elsewhere and marked up to ridiculous prices. So, use this Sunbeam Vintage as catalog and do your research before buying ANYTHING here. Also, they have a NO RETURN and NO REFUND policy, likely because if you paid $650 for a coffee table that you found for $289 a week later, they would be out of business. BUYER BEWARE!

Almost bought a couch from here listed at $1400 and did a reverse image search and found it for $1000. Also looked into buying a console that was "on sale" for $300 but upon doing another reverse image search, I found it on Amazon for half the price. I do not understand these business practices and how they get away with upselling fast furniture?

After having stopped in this store many times, admiring the furniture, we decided to order one of their pieces by phone that we saw online. They said it would be ready for pickup in one week, but we waited several weeks with no word and every time we tried to check in via phone we got no response. When we stopped in one day, the people at the front desk seemed confused about how their own ordering system works and seemed annoyed that we were even there. There were several more back and forths before we eventually got the item, each one punctuated by the same confusion and rudeness. The item itself is nice, but we won't be buying anything else from them. It's not worth dealing with their frustrating customer service.

Sometimes great vintage, sometimes highly overpriced cheap feeling mock ups. Always worth a visit to see what they have but I'd avoid the more stock items.

10/10! They have an excellent selection of new and restored pieces here across many decades. The staff were very friendly and you can tell that they truly care about the products and customers. We bought a coffee table here that was just what we were looking for and we'll most definitely be back to look for our next piece of furniture. Even if you're not looking to buy, it's a great place to look around and bookmark for the future!

PSA: anything "new" or "made to order" isn't actually custom or manufactured by SV and can be purchased through a variety of stores that offer free shipping. (TOV Furniture is the brand. Recently found their "Rebekah Channeled Sofa" for 600 dollars less at Wayfair!) Have bought a few pieces here and arranging delivery has always been difficult -- they've always bailed and I've ended up having to schedule someone else. Generally super overpriced -- if you're used to buying vintage, this is not the best spot. That said, it can be a good deal if you have a specific piece in mind, you're tired of looking, and you can catch a 20% off storewide deal. Basically, this is a spot send anyone who just wants to drop a couple grand to furnish their whole apartment in one day...but def not the spot for finding a good deal.

This place is a scam. They buy furniture from wayfair, target and other cheap furniture places, double the price and lie saying it is vintage. Do not give them your money! I found a lot of their listings online at different stores. They just re-photograph everything to cover their tracks.

This place was so great when it opened and when it was co-owned by a guy and a gal. The guy is long gone and over the years the quality of the merchandise has slowly gone downhill. But my biggest complaint is how darn unfriendly and unhelpful they are, even to customers who have purchased products before.

I want to be fair as I'm sure I'll come back to this store again, however as I've said in other reviews, trust your gut feeling... if you think this is something you can find somewhere else then walk away. Also you can always browse, leave, do online search then go back to the store if you feel you found something worth going back. I had a great experience when it comes to customer service while shopping there, and they have something new every time I go there, lots of great big and small pieces, however I (as many others here) feel the piece I purchased was pricey, but that's on me not them.
