Google
We visited on May 18 with high expectations for an abundance of fresh produce only to find it was mostly an arts and crafts market. The arts and crafts were beautifully hand made and a good variety, from jewelry to clothing to wood working. There were very few fresh produce vendors. Five stars for arts and crafts but two stars for fresh farm products.

Google
Great variety of produce & food items. We came pretty late and a few things sold out so come early if you want the goods.

Google
Awesome farmers and vendors, very unique shopping can be done there every Sunday! The market is also a great place to bring your pups and kids, there’s face painting, treats and music! Don’t miss out on the great food for you to grab lunch, this market is in the back of the Charleston Pour house, so a cold one is always welcome! Live music available too, you can’t miss it!

Finally I got to visit the Pour House in Charleston! I went on a Sunday for Motown. Wow such an awesome vibe, lots of activities going on, market shopping, tasty food trucks, live music, yoga and and wonderful bar service. I loved everything about the location, can't wait to visit again! Oh don't forget to walk around and see all the beautiful murals. @glampedlife

We visited this past weekend and loved the ambience of this market. Plenty of vendors and food trucks to enjoy.

Farmers Mkt- So hot! But great vendors! No heirloom tomatoes 😞. Got some regular ones and an Italian eggplant. Decided to try the hotdogs in bagel dough for $8 👎. Took it back and left with guy in chair - told him dough was raw. The line was so long and owner was too busy.

Google
First time coming to the Sunday Brunch Farmers Market and we had a blast. Parking was kind of tricky but if you're in and out you can get away w/ parking in some of the side lots. They had everything between fresh veggies, food trucks, local honey, local artisan goods and gifts. Also, depending what vendor you're coming to see, be wary about coming later on - Vendors do run out of stuff if it's packed, so come early.

Google
We love this Farmer’s Market. It’s got a Woodstock, NY vibe about it (if you have ever been there) Only hassle is parking. There is precious little of it.

Yelp
This was an amazing event. There were lots of vendors and different types of food to try. I definitely sample a lot and bought from a lot as you can see in my pictures. There were a lot of people and it was just an all-around great event. I was able to have the empanadas and buy some salsa, peaches, and some pickled carrots. I forgot to put a picture of them here. The food truck with the empanada was amazing and the crew was great. We have another festival like this. I will definitely go.

Yelp
One of our favorite markets in town! Nice balance of fresh produce/bread/meat, prepared food items and artisanal goods. All of the vendors are kind and offer high quality products. There's always live music and food trucks. The trickiest part is parking but if you go early it's pretty easy after a few minutes.

Yelp
This market is bohemian, organic, hippie, delicious, engaging, musical and a complete day. For those that do not know about this market behind the Charleston Pour House, here are a few things you need to know: 1. Live music during the event - 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. 2. Yoga on the deck prior to the market. 3. Food trucks a plenty. 4. Plants, gemstones, clothes, food, homemade pastas, plants, jewelry, soaps, honey and so much more. 5. Great for kids. 6. Totally chill. 7. Motown jam almost every Sunday after the market. As I said earlier, this can be a complete day!!!

Yelp
My favorite farmers market in Charleston! They have everything you need from produce, meats, skin/body care, baked goods, grab & go food, candles, jewelry and more! The vendors are so friendly and you become friends quickly! I love that they usually have live music, making it such a fun space to do your shopping and to stay and hangout with friends

Yelp
Yummy Empanadas! I love the different options. I tried 3 the : Carne con arroz - beef and rice Espinaca con queso - spinach and cheese (vegetarian) Romero - Rosemary and potato (vegan) The Spinach and cheese was my favorite!!! They were nicely filled.

Yelp
Great event at the Pour House off Maybank Hwy. I've been a couple of times and each time I've had a lot of fun and probably spent a little too much money on too much food and other items for sale. The bar on the patio is open for all your drinking needs, they have a few food trucks to feed you, and many booths set up; ranging from fresh pasta, to fresh produce, to CBD products, to arts and crafts. There is a little something for everyone. The biggest problem is there is not enough parking at the Pour House to support the crowd, so expect to park in adjacent parking lots and walk.

Yelp
I'm mad at myself that I just found out today about this amazing place and experience. The vendors change and the vendors have some creative products that they are wanting you to buy. Everything was so impressive. I'll have a better budget and more time next to around. I plan to make this a monthly "thing." Shop, grab lunch, and get a drink at the Pour House. My poor pictures don't do the place justice.

Yelp
What a cute little farmers market! My friend wanted to stop by--I didn't even know it existed. It's located right behind Pour House. It's full of local businesses with a nice variety of merchandise. Parking is rough.

Yelp
I've been visiting the Sunday Brunch Farmer's market for awhile now, including at the previous location. It moved to the Pour House a year or so ago, which was a good move, as there's plenty of parking and the market is more visible to the community. Granted, that also means it's grown a lot because it's no longer James Island's little secret :). It's early in the season so we ventured to the Farmer's Market for the first time in 2016 on Sunday, and we were not disappointed. I counted 4 food trucks as well as fresh gelato for dessert. There are picnic tables for you to sit and eat. A lot of the typical Farmer's Market vendors are there, but I saw some unique ones, too. The farmer's market also has live music, which is a nice touch as you shop or enjoy lunch. They have a donation-based yoga class some mornings before the market sometimes, but I haven't attended that to know how it is. It's neat that the Sunday Brunch Farmer's Market has these little touches that make it stand out- and make it a 5-star market in my opinion.

Yelp
Cute little farmers market with a good variety of booths plus some food trucks. There was also good music playing too. We ended up getting 3 pastries from Two Fat Cooks and everything was delicious (so much so that I forgot to take a picture before we finished them, oops!). Great deal too, it was 3 for $5 so we went with the carmelita, key lime tart and 7 layer bar. All were delicious but the carmelita was our favorite!

Yelp
Just OK small market. More arts and crafts than produce. I went early in the season so perhaps the farm stands improve later in the summer. Attached to a brew pub if you need a bump while you're there.

Yelp
Great little farmers market. Pour House great to visit after the market. Bought some local honey and now know where to go on Sunday. Super dog friendly

Yelp
Listen. Do you want to enjoy a beverage after to shop? Do you want to get the best Bloody Mary mix on this earth? Do you want to enjoy some of the best local bands that's graced this green earth? Then this market is for you!!

Yelp
First they have great veggies including the bus with veggies which is my favorite. They have local craftsmen. I know kind of like the others in town but they have good music and a real local feel which is a little different and event better you afterwards can go to Pour house deck for more live music and a drink. The combo makes for a perfect Sunday morning activity to get you out of the house. Stay just for the farmers market or make a day out of it and head to the deck for music and a beer!

Yelp
Located behind the Pour House, this market is full of local goodies! The parking can be a bit tricky, but personally I like parking slightly down the street so I don't have to cross the busy highway. They usually have live music and a wide array of local products from fresh veggies to dairy to baked goods made with crickets (unique)! They also have food trucks pulled up so you can snack while you shop. One of my personal favorite stands is Rio Bertolini's with their fresh pasta! They have such a wide variety of flavors, shapes, and sauces, I just love it! You can store all of it in the freezer as well. Another staple of the market is the Lowcountry Street Grocery. It's a bus filled with local produce sourced from multiple farms and it's all reasonably priced. Overall it's a great Sunday activity to stroll around and support local vendors.

Yelp
This was my first farmers market here in Charleston. I have to admit, I was expecting a bit more, but it was nice. The markets that I've experienced had more vegetable and fruit options, this market had more vendors selling their specific items. This is not a problem, just wasn't my expectation. The environment was pretty friendly and prices of certain items weren't unreasonable. It was a hot day; plenty of juices and drinks to choose from. There was a band which gave it a good vibe. The selection of vegetables that they did have were great. Very beautiful, colorful and fresh. I'll be back again of course.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a while, and finally had a chance to put the family in the car and hit the road. Unfortunately, it was a crisp and rainy Sunday, so not a lot of vendors were there, but I enjoyed the ones that were. Each vendor was very friendly and talkative, and talked about their local products. My kids enjoyed the "cricket lady" and the cookies made from ground up crickets. I didn't tell them (shhh!). We walked out with a box of chocolates, because sometimes a dad just can't say no to his daughter. Many free samples were handed out, from honey to granola, and I look forward to coming back again on a warmer day. Parking isn't terrible if you don't mind walking a bit (1/10th of a mile is not that bad), because the parking by the restaurant fills up fast. We arrived around lunch time, so that was expected.

Yelp
Great Sunday morning experience! Good vibes, nice live music by a one-man-band. Every vendor was super friendly and of course had samples. Small area though and only four options for food, not including ordering at the Pourhouse - hot dogs, trendy tacos, acai bowls, and paninis. We ordered paninis because the line was the shortest and more bang for your buck ($8), compared to $9 for only two tacos. We got the panini with brie, prosciutto, and a pickle. Basic ingredients but fresh bangin brie- she also pressed the panini on both sides which was interesting and made everything super melty. Pourhouse bloody marys were okay- they just used a mix, but they weren't stingy on the vodka and it was only $6, so all good with me!

Yelp
It is a smaller version of the farmers market we usually go to in Marion Square. Parking is awkward but doable. To be honest, we came mainly to stalk Dashi. They stopped coming to the downtown market so we found them here! The market itself had fresh vegetables, crafts and local offerings. They had a small band playing and it was a nice casual atmosphere. Dogs are allowed but I wish some people who know their dog is aggressive would just leave them at home. While we were munching on our Dashi lunch, the dog beside us spent his time growling at every dog that passed by. This event is located behind the Charleston Pour House and we both agreed that it looked like a fun place. You can't really see the market from the street because it is behind the building so if you want to attend look for the Charleston Pour House and parking is available next door in an empty lot.

Yelp
Cute local farmer's market that also offers brunch! Parking can be a litttttle tight but we just parked down the street and walked over, which was easy enough. The booths offered standard fare of locally grown fruits and veggies, jams, honey, baked goods, and then a few jewelry/clothing/candles and some other booths as well. It was definitely a good variety without having too many options. I loved the fresh food bus that was parked there - this is such a great idea for neighborhoods without easy access to farmer's markets! I was happy to see so many friendly doggos leashed and ready to play.

Yelp
This market is my favorite market in Charleston! It's on Sundays (11am-3pm) and the vendors sell produce, as well as great local artisans' crafts. PLUS, it's a phenomenal brunch spot with multiple food trucks, a full bar, and The Lot Restaurant next door if you want to do a delicious sit down local meal before shopping. There's great, local music all day as well. Favorite thing to do on a Sunday for sure!

Rachel B.

Yelp
Not what I was expecting. Very small farmers market with not many vendors. However, Bravo Bowls sells amazing açaí bowls at the Sunday Brunch Farmers Market so that was a plus! The farmers market on Saturdays in Summerville and Charleston have a wide variety of produce, food, clothing, jewelry, etc. I'd highly recommend checking out the markets on Saturdays.

Yelp
This place has it all! Live music, food trucks, one of a kind art pieces, home made jewelry, home made soap, local honey and if that's not enough enjoy a drink on the porch at the pour house! Friends family happy people they have it all here!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the place to go on a Sunday afternoon! Lots of vendors, food and crafts and a great place to eat at some food trucks. You can have lunch at the Lot next door but you'll get a better deal at the food trucks. They also have live music all day, you can dance or bring a lawn chair get your food from the truck and sit and enjoy! Well worth the trip. A reminder parking is tough, find something across the street.

Yelp
We LOVE this market! Meg & Adam who run the market are always so friendly and helpful! We love having the Pourhouse right there to grab a delicious Bloody Mary cocktail and listen to great local music while we shop! Cool activities for the kids, local art, great local food, food trucks, coffee vendor, dog-friendly and nice people! Best way to spend a Sunday morning!
