London’s New Restaurant Openings

"We’re fans of the original Notting Hill location and the actual original in Williamsburg, and now Sunday In Brooklyn has landed in Marylebone. You can expect the same all-day menu, and of course, those OTT praline pancakes." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Quite a decent brunch place. There was a bit of a wait, but the service was great! The fresh pressed juices are so diluted, that was the only (rather) disappointing aspect of the meal. Do not try. Coffee was good though. The pancakes are original and tasty but they’re no pancakes. The texture is interesting though and the hazelnut twist quite delightful.

Had such a wonderful experience! The staff made me feel so welcome, and the food felt like it was made with love. The pancake is awesome & reminded me of home—definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!” Highly recommended

Breakfast was just fine, It wasn’t bad just a very average breakfast that was On the pricier side as we spent just under £30pp. The hot chocolate was nice. Would I go back ? probably not as it was just an overall average experience and there are better brunch spots for less money in London

If you’re in London and missing NYC, Sunday in Brooklyn is the spot. I had brunch there, and from the moment I walked in, the vibes felt straight out of Brooklyn lively, laid-back, and cool. The food? Delicious. The atmosphere? Pure NYC nostalgia.

The roast beef sandwich was nothing short of exceptional. The beef was tender and packed with flavour, while the sauce complemented it beautifully, enhancing every bite without overpowering the dish. It was everything I hoped for and more. The coffee was equally impressive, rich and smooth. As for the service, it was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I opted for the roast beef sandwich which was delicious with that crunchy bread , tender beef and melted cheese served with these perfectly seasoned fries. To follow their infamous hazelnut maple praline pancakes.

Brunch for 3 at the Marylebone branch of Sunday In Brooklyn. Such a spacious and lovey place with great customer service & beautiful people. Our order: a Green Juice, Lemonade, Mimosa, Shakshuka, Egg sandwich (w/pork sausage), Cheddar scramble (w/ bacon & pork sausage), Long Island potatoes, a Cornflake brownie, Americano and a Flat White. The food was lovely…those eggs! The quality of the sausage and bacon was good. The only slight letdown was the potatoes and the brownie was a bit stodgy. Our total bill for 3 was £99. Very good. Definitely trying the pancakes on our next visit! (They looked ginormous!).

Highly recommended for breakfast. Great food and service. Cozy tables and lovely vibes. We took the window table, which was great. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't sit outside. Don't forget to try the signature pancakes. The egg sandwich was delicious. The avocado scrambled eggs are good as well. Big portions. Special thanks to Mirela C, who was wonderful. Make a reservation because it gets crowded.
