Went on Friday 12/6 around 9:45p. There were three separate groups inside the whole place. We sat at the end of the bar and the other party at the bar was leaving. The bartender never acknowledged us. He walked past us several times and said nothing. So finally I said hello and was going to ask for the menu but he said hello very dryly and walked past me again! This place was NOT BUSY! I was even giving him the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times he walked past but never once did he even acknowledge my friend and I and say “one second ladies I’ll be there in a second”. That’s all it would have taken. I promptly left. I’m not spending my money in a place that can’t even be bothered to acknowledge I’m present.

Customer service is really bad. Ambiance and food are good. Today, I worked from this coffee shop and had breakfast and a snack. Two separate transactions. I tipped for the first meal. But not for the snack. The register girl looked like I was bothering her. When she found out I didn’t tip, demeanor changed to a more salty vibe. I also asked them to clean up spilled coffee done by a previous guest. The girl at the register just rolled her eyes.

Didn’t even stay for drinks or food. We walked in on a Friday night and the place had approx 3groups of people present. Upon walking in we were not greeted by the bartender or anyone. We sat at the bar (and for all intents and purposes were the only ones at the bar because the couple seated at the bar when we got there was leaving). The bartender walked past us SEVERAL times and didn’t say anything at all. My friend finally said hello to him and he barely acknowledged her, didn’t even look our way, and KEPT walking. We decided to leave after that. There’s no way we are supporting a business that cannot even greet customers properly. We went on 12/6/24

Clean! Customer service Excellent! Drinks are good and hit the spot. They do not shy away from the alcohol and use top shelf!

I'm super confused by this place? We were looking for a new spot to try but when we showed up, it was a coffee place. My husband double checked the website and saw the coffee bar is suite A and Sunday Social is suite B but we walked around from the back to the drive thru and saw only one entrance which lead into the coffee area. I saw nothing that looked like the pictures online so I don't know... what am I missing?

Such an amazing atmosphere. The music is always so good. The happy hour is 10/10. The vibes are always immaculate and the staff is always so kind. Major shoutout to Hallie, JJ, and Jonathan. All three were incredibly attentive, sociable, and delightful to be around. Will definitely be back!!

I stumbled upon this quaint coffee shop (filled with a very lively staff) after work one day while waiting for a friend to finish up their meeting nearby, and I must say — I could not have been met with a better atmosphere anywhere else in the area, than that with which I was greeted by at Sunday Social. I am admittedly not one to be proactive in the reviewing community, but credit goes where it is due and this place has earned its stars. The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by a friendly face named Hailie who told me to sit wherever I please. As I took my seat at a soft-cushioned booth, I was handed a menu and I asked for a water that took no longer than a minute to arrive. The menu was extensive, tempting me to hang around and order a specialty cocktail, but I had elsewhere to be soon so I just ordered a flat white coffee to-go. This was around 5:30PM and the place was already about half-full, so I was somewhat worried that the wait-time for such a simple order might be deterred by some of the more extensive orders made by other guests. The fact that I spent less than five minutes between walking in and out is the reason I was prompted to express my satisfaction online. To the weary traveler seeking a stop-and-go beverage: this place will not hold you up… unless perhaps it’s an open container, LOL. They are quick on their feet (even Hailie who was wearing a boot brace! May she heal pronto), but take their time to indulge in their patrons’ inquiries, and even make time to banter if the mood calls for it. This is an exceptionally enthralling establishment for which I am grateful to have run into, especially during the early stages of its late-night conception, and I will certainly return to indulge in the many amenities and flavors to behold — from the stellar soundtrack selection (which surely could not have been curated by corporate??) to the alluring call of the Ca Phe All Day. Be sure to visit here to enjoy spectacular service and catch a vibe with your friends — I am absolutely already planning to do so myself ASAP.

Curated playlist was on point, loved the music. Hailie and JJ were excellent hosts and great curators of the menus drinks as well.

I've been to Sunday press coffee but I had no idea it was a cocktail bar at night! lol This place has great social vibes! I saw many groups of girls chatting it up, as well as individuals with their laptops and headphones in doing work and enjoying a drink. The drinks are absolutely delicious! (But pricey so beware) I didn't get anything to snack on but next time I will definitely try those truffle fries for sure! The girls working were super nice and I'm really glad I went because I really enjoyed myself there. Pay this place a visit if you haven't!

If you've been here during the day for the coffee shop, the vibes are pretty different at night. This is an excellent cocktail bar for a low key night. I went on a Monday night, there were a few low key groups or couples and several individuals quietly working on laptops or reading books. This place has the perfect vibe for when you want to go out and relax and read or catch up on work and have a nice cocktail. The happy hour is incredible, I had a craft cocktail and flatbread for only $20 total. The Manhattan was excellent and fig pig flatbread was surprisingly delicious. I will be coming back for sure!

Really enjoyed our visit! I love the creativity of flipping a business for a different purpose in the evenings, and Sunday Social has done a great job of it!! The cocktail menu is fun (though a little high priced), the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was lovely. The waitstaff was also very helpful and considerate. This past Saturday night they had a saxophone player performing, which gave a smoking room/jazz club type vibe. Think green velvet, mood lighting, and date nights. Will definitely be back!

This is spacious bar in outer side of heights. It is designed well, nice service, drinks are not super expensive. I enjoyed the drinks along with bar snacks. They have reverse happy hour which makes drinks cheap for high quality drinks. I recommend this bar if you want somewhere not too crammed and quiet, it has a romantic vibe in my opinion.

Food was delicious and so was the atmosphere. Drinks were tasty. Best dish was the lentil soup

Came here on a Tuesday night. Went with the extra extra martini, which was served with an extra helping of the martini on ice, along with a Japanese version of Chex mix which was home made. The drink was super strong and had a somewhat bitter aftertaste that I did not super enjoy, but otherwise, I liked it and the accoutrements. The ambiance is chic, and service was friendly. There is plenty of lot parking.

Very upset the place closes at 1 am I came tonight with my family to have a night cap we only planned to stay no more than 10 mins which we told the bartender and we were turned away at 10 pm . Never will be coming back

Popped in after dinner for a cocktail and it was a perfect place for a night cap. Our bartenders were so nice, gave great suggestions and made delicious libations. Loved the loungey vibe, chic furniture and decor.

Superrrr cute cocktail bar. So nice to have bar options right outside of the Heights in Oak Forest. Best espresso martini I've had, and they have cute cocktails like matcha etc.

Really great place to get a cocktail or do work but the place is really infested with annoying gnats and pests. Hopefully they get that under control!

very nice ambiance. JJ provided really good service. The drinks were tasty and strong. I also tried some food which was really good. I definitely recommend.
