Philadelphia Food Festival Apologizes for Disinviting an Israeli Food Truck - Eater Philly

"Sunflower Philly is a community space in Kensington, Philadelphia, where the Taste of Home event was planned to take place. It is known for hosting various community events and allowing third-party event promoters to make decisions regarding their productions. However, they have indicated a future hands-on approach after the incident involving the Israeli food truck." - Dayna Evans

Absolutely love it here! Such a great space for events to be held. Attended a party here twice and loved both experiences.

This venue is awesome! I had such a great time at the show. Everyone was respectful and remained socially distanced. The service was great. The beer was bomb (shout out to Human Robot) The sandwiches were delicious (shout out to Poe's sandwich joint). I cant wait to go back and check out the other events. This is a great place for our community to come together. Also, Gritty made an appearance at this jawn.

Extremely well designed and run outdoor venue. Everything about my experience there was brilliant, from the people running the "door" to the availability of affordable drinks and food to the amazing live performance of Electric Candlelight. This was my first live music experience in 15 months and I couldn't have asked for a better place to experience it.

Relaxed/pleasant socially distant experience watching live music. Lovely space. Friendly, chill folks at the entrance. Important mission. Flexible with bringing in drinks from spots across the way (in case beer isn't your thing). Looking forward to the next time.

Yelp
This park/facility is a great concept in the neighborhood and has so much opportunities for individuals and families to have a good time. Their website shows all the upcoming events along with community events that they are supporting and you can book through their website. This is great but I do agree that their communication is lacking and it is very difficult to get in contact with anyone from the facility. While I haven't purchased any formal events, I have utilized the facility for personal hang outs when there are no events. Sunflower Philly is open to the public during those times. The human robot (bar/restaurant) usually provides food and drinks for their events and it's easy to grab a bite and drinks while hanging out there as well. I look forward to attending their formal events in the future but again, I wish it were more clear on how to communicate with the facility organizers.
