Small boutique winery, but very wide and deep selection of wines, specializing in Italian varietals/styles. Excellent quality wines, fabulous, friendly staff. What more could you ask for?

I love the wines at Sunland Vintage Winery! So many really good wines to choose from here. I've stopped going to other local wineries because their selections are not as good as Sunlands' wines. Always a wonderful time with friends at their events. (Check out Sunlands calendar.) Owners, Mike and Debbie are warm friendly people that are passionate about wine and their customers experience at their tasting room.

The owners are awesome and so much knowledgeable in wine and everything. My group love the wine collection, especially the white wines. Last but not least, we had a lot of fun dancing here.

Sunland Vintage Winery Tasting Room is a great place to try some fantastic wines. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Mike and Debby, and they were so friendly and taught me a lot about their wines. Would surely go back again and highly recommend visiting Sunland Vintage Winery Tasting Room.

This is an awfully fun place to enjoy wine. They not only create some amazing wines, but they also invite in some terrific music performers. We just had our semiannual wine pickup tasting and food pairing and it was fabulous.

Debbie and Mike are great people. Love this wines, Cousins Lobster food truck was delicious. We bought a couple friends to enjoy the evening with, it was a great time.

We joined because Debby and Mike are wonderful people and we like their wines, mostly Italian varitals. They have good wine club events too.

If Hallmark made a movie about the perfect winery owners, it would star Debby & Mike at Sunland Vintage. We hosted a comedy show here last night and I don't say this lightly: THEY. CRUSHED. IT. Debby is like the cool aunt who brings wine AND emotional support, and Mike is the kind of guy who probably knows how to fix a carburetor and pair it with a nice Barbera. These two are warm, welcoming, and an absolute dream to work with. They went above and beyond to make the event a success -- helping with setup, being wildly gracious hosts, and just creating a vibe that was classy, cozy, and a little bit magical. If Napa had a chill, funny cousin who was actually fun to hang out with, it would be Sunland Vintage. The wine? Chef's kiss. The space? Cozy. The service? A+ with extra credit. What a great tasting room, and it's made up of two different wineries! we were greeted immediately and winetasting was served directly to your table. I think I liked every single wine I tasted. They were all fabulous one I would not turn down, but was not as fabulous as the rest. My friend bought a couple of bottles of wine and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and our server. At one point they even brought over two different kinds of slushy for us to taste. One was the cider and I believe the other was a cinnamon

We decided to check out this tasting room and were not disappointed. From the parking lot, this place did not have the curb appeal that matched it's ambiance once you walk through the doors. Spacious yet intimate, at least on a Sunday afternoon. Emily was a delight and really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back.

I celebrated a friend's birthday at this space! I had a wine slushie which I believe was a seasonal item. It was fantastic, the right amount of sweetness and perfect on a hot day. I also had a glass of Pinot noir and it was decent. The space was open with many high top tables to hang out at, and there was space in the back to put out food spreads across two tables. There were big windows at the back so there was natural light. Overall the wine was solid and the space was perfect for an event. I will say that it didn't "wow" me, it was just solid all around, hence the 4 stars. I would return for a larger event or a casual time out with friends but maybe not for a date night or anniversary.

This place is a hidden gem! I was looking for a low key place to hold a "bachelorette" party. I made reservations ahead of time just in case. They had our area all set up for me when I arrived and made sure I was happy with the area. The wine tasting prices are a great value. Everyone had a great time, great service, great wine, great atmosphere.

Let's start by saying that we really like being members of this winery. They have great member promos- for example free tastings for up to 4 people whenever you come in. Membership comes with 4 bottles of wine every 3 months, which keeps our cabinet stocked! I am a red-wine fan and they have a good amount of red wines to choose from. They also have some wines on tap, which you can get a growler of as well. Some of my favorites are GPSM, grenache and allecante (that may not be the right spelling?). Not a fan of their sparkling wines, but those usually aren't my jam anyways. The one star off is because this winery serves more of an older crowd, and we sometimes feel out of place, but for most people in thousand oaks, this works great. If you're in the area, I would definitely say its a good spot to stop in!

Mike and Debbie know how to make wine and how to entertain! We first tried their wine during at event at the Moorpark Country Club. Out of all the wineries there - we bought their wine. When we heard they had a tasting room in Thousand Oaks, we promised ourselves we'd try it. We loved their tasting room so much, we joined their Turf Club! Then, we came back again, with friends, and they joined the Turf Club too! We don't get to visit as often as we'd like, but we love their wines, the atmosphere, and the fact they make us feel like true friends while we're there. They do have great musical guests and food trucks. They also have a wonderful assortment of gift items - yes, I do buy new cocktail napkins every time I go because they're so clever! Their wines are all delicious but what's truly impressive is their diverse selection. And, usually you'll find a winery that excels in white or red or bubbly. But Sunland Vintage creates magnificent wines across the board in all their categories. We do have our go-to favorites, but every time we visit we find a new favorite to add to our growing list. If you are looking for a unique experience right in your own home town - check this place out!

An oasis tucked into a nondescript strip mall awaits at Sunland. Behind the doors, you will find an open space with tables and chairs, a bar in the back and some couches in the center. It's a great place to relax with friends on weeknight or listen to live entertainment on the weekends with a loved one. For $10-15 you can enjoy a flight of testers. The wines are all unique and many are quite good. Since they do not serve food, outside food is permitted. Pro tip: Use the coupon associated with this listing to try some wines at a discount.

A nicely appointed tasting room and the wines were better than expected. My wife and I are "other red" wine drinkers and they had plenty of wines that suited our pallates quite nicely. The owners, Debbie and Mike are very outgoing and make you feel quite at home. We'll certainly be back to taste some of their other offerings in the near future.

Absolutely amazing experience at Sunland! The owners, Debbie and Mike were able to accommodate our party of 15 at the very last moment and were more than happy to help make it a special birthday celebration for my friend. They quickly gathered 3 tables together, and even set out some cute birthday decorations. They were very knowledgable on their wine list and gave us an explanations for all of the wines. There are many more red than white wines on the list. Parking is easy in the lot and you're allowed to bring outside food into the tasting room. The room is tastefully decorated and perfect for any size party! We saw many couples come in to enjoy a bottle of wine together, something I'll definitely be doing in the future! I highly recommend a visit to Sunland for any occasion!

I absolutely love, love, love this little gem that my friends came across about 20 mins away from malibu wines. The owners were sweet enough to set up a little birthday area that accomodated me and all my girlfriends. They provided us with several tasting menus (6 glasses of whites, reds, or even both for your liking) and were kind enough to take the time to explain each kind as well. We all decided to pair up, and the deal came out to be only $5 per person! We never felt rushed or pressured to leave, so we spent the afternoon just lounging in their cute set-up of a tasting room, catching up with one another, as well as having a few conversations with the owners. They're really friendly people. Thanks for being so accomodating and turning my birthday celebration around. For anyone going wine tasting, I say opt out from going to fancy snobby winery and go here instead! I assure you, you'll have an even better time.

My husband and I love this place. Highly recommend! Great wines, great ambiance. The owners Mike and Debby and their staff are great people.

Cant beat the prices here. 6 tastings for $12. Next time will have to try their charcuterie. Mike is also super nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

The band on Thursday evening is so horrible. The most mediocre cover songs played WAY too loud. The only way to enjoy it is if your blotto'd drunk. Sounds like some lousy wedding band on some yacht. And the guy is just sooooo full of himself. If you go to this place go on Friday the music is much better and it's at a reasonable level so you can enjoy the place. AVOID THIS PLACE ON THURSDAY... TRUST ME ON THIS.

Never will go there again. Owner Mike is the nastiest and rudest man. I cancelled a membership that never even started and the owner got mad and charged me $50 to cancel.

It is great to have this gem in Thousand Oaks! Comfortable tasting room with good wine and even better service. They usually have 2 tasting line ups; and I recommend splitting them so you can get a feel for their offerings. Nero D'avola and Montepulciano are something special! If you feel like a rebel, try their Cinsault with a slice of blueberry pie or berry tart.

Great wine and great people, come here! Wine (and wine tasting) near Tilted Kilt in Thousand Oaks, what a hidden gem. They have live music on Friday nights and we were told they have food trucks here on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic tasting put together by the owners of the winery. They do a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable and explaining the magic behind each of their wines. You'll be sure to enjoy your evening or afternoon sampling some delicious varietals.

We are a first generation Italian family and hosted a private event for 60 friends and family members celebrating our daughter's Master's degree. Debby and Mike saw to every detail, and made the wine tasting an amazing experience. The wines; white and red, vary from light, medium, to bold.. something for everyone. Thank you for hosting us in your very inviting tasting room! We definitely recommend!

Had my second baby shower on their premises. Debbie the owner could not have been more accommodating. The winery offers tables and chairs and they also set up extra tables for food and beverages. The room is so charming and we brought in our own tablecloth's and decorations. They offer the most delicious fruit mimosas that all our guests enjoyed. Overall a wonderful venue for any occasion!

The owners Debbie and Mike own an amazing gem in Thousand Oaks. The are truly a pleasure to work with and so welcoming -- they have some tasty wines and my fiancé and I are so excited to have our welcome / rehearsal dinner here!

They have great bands on Friday and Saturday nights and food trucks most nights. Live music, magic and comedy nights and food trucks. Can't ask for much more than that. Must come and check it out.

Excellent deal for wine tasting $10-12. They have outdoor seating in a makeshift patio in the parking lot. They have a wide selection of wine, although due to their policy of not opening bottles on Sunday (so only already opened bottles that aren't finished yet are your options), there were a few I didn't get to try :( Wine glasses are decent quality, staff are helpful. Location is in a strip mall, so not the best ambiance, but hey the great value and wine selection will likely have me coming back :)

Nice selections of reds for tasting. Customer service was excellent and you get to bring your own food / snacks. Would be even better if there was an outdoor area for chilling instead of being stuck inside somewhere with low ceiling.

The entire team at Sunland Vintage Winery is great! The welcoming and friendly atmosphere comes directly from Mike and Debbie. The tasting room is very comfortable and inviting, and offers visitors a nice opportunity to taste several different wines (they have two different flights) and then enjoy a glass (or bottle) of their favorite ... or favorites in my case: the Goddess, Delicate Princess, and Montepulciano,

We really enjoyed our time at a recent college graduation party we went to at Sunland Vintage Winery. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice, open space with gear wine barrels and granite counters and high and low tables. The wine was great, they were friendly and knew about the wines and it was a great place to have a party. They don't serve food, but D'Amore's catered and even made pizzas right outside the door. Great place, with plenty of parking!

The music on Thursday night is exceptional . The best dance music with Kevin and Dave . Great place, nice people totally recommend it

Had an excellent time in the Sunland tasting room, nice facility with great people. Went for a visit on Saturday and tasted a portion of the menu, then came back on Sunday to taste some more, ended up joining the wine club. Across the board, Mike's wines are solid and at good price points.

This place is awesome! The owners are the nicest people in the world. Me and a friend went there and we definitely had a great time talking with the owners and tasting all the fabulous wine. Their wine is so delicious. I would definitely come back and bring all of my friends.

I had my sister's bridal shower here this past weekend and it was a blast! The owners are so sweet and were so accommodating throughout the whole process! Debby set up a mimosa bar that was delicious! The place is so pretty and has such a relaxed atmosphere! It was a great experience!

What a great little spot! Convenient, warm atmosphere, delicious wines, friendly & informative couple who owns it. One thing I'd like to mention is that due to the city's laws they aren't allowed to serve any food beyond crackers BUT you are welcome to bring your own. We picked up a sandwich on the way to our tasting last Friday night and Debbie brought us plates and forks so we were able to wine AND dine! Will definitely be back...and probably on the 1st or 3rd Thursdays of the month when they have $5 glasses of wine and a food truck that comes with delicious treats. YUM!

Sunland Vintage hosted my book launch party in February and it was amazing. They have an incredible selection of wines that are impressive to even the most discerning palette. The atmosphere is wonderful and the people who own it truly love wine and love their clients. This is a fabulous place to go with just your sweetheart or with a larger group. This is a place to slow down and enjoy fine wine in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Great little tasting room in TO. Friendly staff, tasty wines. We did the Morning Line #1 and #2 tastings with all reds. Loved them all! They brought me a crown to celebrate my bday which I thought was super cute! They had some yummy brownies they were passing around that were great with the wine. They also let us bring in our own food (cheese & charcuterie plates). Would definitely go back here.

Came here last night with about 15 or so people, Mike was the one introducing the wines, Very nice guys, clean place, I don't really drink wine but had some really good kinds there, I know this sound kinda weird but I used the bathroom and its was immaculate, I only say that because if a place cant clean the bathroom it's not going to care about how clean everything else was. I dont drink much wine but I would come back for sure, Thanks Mike,

We love this place! Quaint, awesome little tasting room with amazing wines and wonderful, friendly owners!! All of their wines are named after their kids/family and they are all delicious!! We became wine members because they do fun little wine club members only nights with food trucks and to let us taste the new ratites wines for the month! We love the owners! They are always so sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend trying sunland vintage! Especially for their $5 wine by the glass nights!

Wow... exciting. When you first step into the premise, it is inviting, open and the sense of friendliness exudes from the walls. The wines are fantastic and priced very well. It is unique to be able to have an experience of trying Italian varietals that we have never tried before... and we truly enjoyed each and everyone. Mike and Debbie were some of the nicest, sincere people we have ever meet, and took their time to fully explain each and every wine to us, which was a true pleasure. You can tell their experience and passion towards their wines, that you will not be disappointed. We joined the wine club and are looking forward to the many up and coming events that they are planning. Well worth the visit and great way to learn about some great Italian wines.
