Sunny Side Up Aussie Bites

Was there on Saturday afternoon and both times I interacted with the person at the booth they were extremely rude - apparently it’s a bother if you have a question about the menu. We still decided to order, didn’t get a notification when the food was ready, walked up to the window to ask about my order and they said nothing, just walked away, put my food on the counter and rudely turned away again. This guy could use some manners. Aside from the service being horrible, the elote empanada and the ice cream sandwich were actually pretty good. Service at the other booths was much more pleasant.

Had an order I wanted to place but needed to remove tomatoes and cheese from the avocado toast and they checked with the “Sous-chef” who told the employee they weren’t allowed to modify the avocado toast. Pretty stupid policy. I canceled all the food I was going to order there and ordered from one of the other places instead.

I did read the menu and waited at the corner while the woman scrolled through her phone. Another customer navy to me, waiting. Finally she got up, I asked a question about the hummus bowl-- she redirected me to the menu. It was an allergen question, with an ingredient, that went unanswered. This lady had no skills besides being on the phone. I did order the hummus bowl. After watching and waiting, she asked me and the other lady waiting our names, handed our food. My question as the veggie crudite.. what veggies? She wouldn't take the time to respond. My bowl was contaminated with an allergen that could have been avoided, had she taken the time to speak with me. So, if you're at the regatta and go to this stand-- don't bother asking anything. It will go unanswered. Terrible customer service. Won't be coming back.
