Super fast service, great atmosphere and great food! we tried the meatballs as our appetizer and it was probably the best marinara sauce I have tried! The pizza and pasta were so full of flavor and didn’t feel heavy on my stomach after eating a LOT! Lol 10/10 would come back again!

We were so pleased with our dinner here this evening. Knowing it might be busy, so I booked a table in advance. Many of my friends have became regular here, The young servers were all very friendly and attentive. I found the food quality is so consistent here. We ordered two salads, a meatball appetizer and two pizzas, we loved all. Felt healthy and no guilt.

If you are thinking about going, reservation is a must. I made reservation right near open and still had to wait 10 minutes. Which reminds me, this place is bit small with 10 or so tables, considering how popular it is. Granted, I was there on Saturday so experience on weekdays might be better. Also, although free, trying to find a parking spot was a nightmare. Now onto the good stuff. Both atmosphere and customer service were excellent. The pizza and pasta that I ordered were also good, reasonably priced, but felt could've been better to match the service and vibe that restaurant offered. Still, I liked it overall and will come back on a weekday.

We got the Hot Honey Char and Mumbai Pizzas and also ordered their lemon pepper wings. Both pizzas were pretty good. I’d order the lemon pepper wings crispy next time, but they were good as well. Pretty small inside, so I ordered to go, but I’d make a reservation first, if going on the weekend.

My wife and I have been wanting to come here and give it a try. Sadly, we left disappointed and here are the reason why: First our server started off strong but fell off by the time we finished up. I believe it was the manager which he did a better job checking on us throughout our meal than our server. Second, the pizza dough was extremely soggy when it arrived at our table. It was so soggy, I couldn’t even fold it in half because it kept flopping down. Third, the chicken in the fettuccine had a weird taste and there was fat left on certain pieces. Lastly, seating is very limited and the tables are so close together, it might as well be one large table. So if you are want personal space this is not the place for you. Sadly, I cannot say I would recommend. Also, they don’t have soda on tap and charge $3.00 for a single can of soda.

I came on the weekend and was luckily sat immediately. We ordered the Mexicana pizza and was very impressed by the quality and taste of the food! While not pictured, our favorite were the wings we ordered as an appetizer. We also ordered the pesto pasta with chicken and left feeling so satisfied and happy. We will definitely be returning!

This place is amazing— easy 10 out of 10! We first got takeout and tried the pistachio pizza and lemon pepper wings—both were incredible. This time, we dined in and everything was perfect. We ordered the hot honey pizza and espresso martinis, and they were able to print custom pictures on our drinks, which was such a fun touch. The service was phenomenal. Our server was so sweet and attentive, constantly checking in on us. The espresso martinis were some of the best I’ve had—you could tell they used authentic espresso, and they were crafted well. Plus, the printed photos were adorable! The pizza was hands down the star of the show. My friends and I all agreed it was some of the best pizza we've ever had in or around Atlanta. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
We had an amazing first experience at Sunnyside Pizzeria! The espresso martini was absolutely delicious and we got our photo on it! The Hot Honey Char Pizza was 10/10 delicious especially the crust. Gelato and service were great as well. Cannot wait to come back and try more.

Yelp
What a completely awesome spot! It is small with zero waiting area so be sure to make a reservation!!! You can even reserve space at the bar area.. so make that reservation for sure. The place is fresh and clean and the staff are hopping! I ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza... one of the specialties here. And you know what... it was AAAAAMAZING!!!I mean OOOOOHHHH MY GODDIE WAY TO HOTTIE x2!! The pizzas are fire cooked and the crust is just the perfect mix of soft and chewy! The sauce was not sweet and the hot honey on the pepperoni was beyond divine! We had some other pizzas and they were all good... but the hot honey was by far my favorite! If you have not been here yet you have got to go. I'm serious make the time and the reservation and go try this! I'll be going back for sure!

Yelp
If you're in Atlanta and love pizza, you have to check out Sunnyside Pizzeria! Albert, the genius behind the oven, makes the most delicious pies that will have you hooked after just one bite. Seriously, you'll be planning your next visit before you even finish your first slice. Their Hot Honey Char is hands down the star of the menu--it's the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and smoky, with a crust that's just the right mix of crispy and chewy. Albert knows exactly how to make every bite unforgettable, and it's clear he pours his heart into every pizza he creates. The vibe at Sunnyside is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot whether you're out with friends, family, or just treating yourself. Trust me, once you try Albert's pizzas, you'll never look at pizza the same way again. Sunnyside Pizzeria is a total gem!

Yelp
Super cute/aesthetic interior with even better pizza! This place looks expensive, but it's actually pretty affordable for neapolitan pizza. Pizzas are around $18 and you can definitely share them (6 slices/pizza). My friend and I shared the Hot Honey Char and it was soooo good. I loved that you could taste the hot honey, how fluffy and thin the crust was, and how flavorful the pepperoni is. So so so delicious! They have many other pizzas that I'd love to try, so I will definitely be coming back. The service was great! Friendly, prompt, and attentive. The restaurant is a bit small and there's not a ton of seating - I'd say this is an ideal spot for a dinner with a friend/date, or a family meal, but not so much for a large party. Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot that Sunnyside is located in. Definitely would rec coming!

Yelp
A large group of us took to go and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the Mumbai pizza as well as the wings. Both really good! I also appreciated that the pizza held up and wasn't too floppy or cheesy. I would love to come back and try it in person!

Yelp
Came by on a Tuesday night and there were a few other patrons, restaurant about 50% full at 7:30pm. Service was not what ppl would describe as amazing but our waiter was kind of quirky. Friendly overall and happy to answer any questions we had. The pizza was amazing - soft and fluffy crust. Pasta also delicious. We enjoyed the lemon pepper wings as well - strong flavor and tasty. Can't wait to come back to this local pizza spot! Cute interior for a date night too.

Yelp
Sunnyside Pizzeria is a really find among the many pizzierias in Sandy Springs. The restaurnat has counter and table seating. Reservations can be madde on Open Table. Excellent fresh baked pizzas. The pistachio/hot homey pizza is a must. The lemon chicken wings arre a great starter, The Bolognese pasta and the chciken picata are great. Service sometimes is not spot on.

Yelp
@sunnysidepizzeria A New Favorite? I'm a huge pizza fan, and I've got my go-to spots: Antico inside the perimeter, Atlas in Gainesville, Campania & Crust on the 400 side, and O4W in Duluth on the 85 side. But now, Sunnyside Pizzeria in Sandy Springs has jumped onto my radar, and I can't stop thinking about it. Which spot am I knocking off my list? The place is small, so if you're bringing more than 4 people, make a reservation. I started with a Caesar salad that was perfect--crispy pancetta, thinly cut lettuce, and just the right amount of dressing. Then came the showstopper: the PISTACCHIO pizza--fresh mozz, Italian sausage, pistachio crudo, hot honey, arugula, and shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and the hot honey added just the right kick. I'm seriously considering where this ranks among my all-time favorites. The service was great, and Jeremiah recommended I try their tiramisu ice cream. It was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal, I was not expecting such amazing and creamy ice cream. Sunnyside has been open for about two years now. If you go, set a reservation and arrive early for easier parking. Can't wait to go back and see if I can decide where it ranks among my pizza faves! #Rolieats #SunnysidePizzeria #PizzaLover #sandysprings #mustgoback #forscience

Yelp
We ordered three pizzas to try the fun flavor offerings. The Mumbai was the one that everyone liked and we would come back for that again! We loved that this restaurant makes creative pizzas, but some of our other pies missed the mark. We were so excited for the pistachio, and it was just ok. The honey overpowered all the other flavors and we couldn't taste any sausage or pistachio--it was just sweet and vaguely nutty. That was a bummer. The pepperoni pizza was not worth it. Very overcooked and dry with no flavor. None of the pizza reheated well, so keep that in mind if you have any leftovers.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, must try this small restaurant in a strip mall, worth every penny!!

Yelp
Stumbling across this pizzeria during an afternoon of shopping, I decided to give it a try. The staff that seat you, are a little disorganized, as they handle both dining and pick up orders. I ordered what I thought to be a small pistachio pizza, but it actually turned out to be enough for 2-3 people, so of course, I had a to go box. I would have preferred more actual pistachios and sausage to fully appreciate the contrast and flavor. However, this choice was very mild and delicate - good but delicate with sparse toppings (a definite turn-off). The beverage selection ranges from soda to wine, but no full bar. Also, dining area is neatly polished with neutral colors and suits both small and larger groups. The star of my visit was definitely the gelato! Would I revisit? It's possible.

Yelp
Sunnyside is delicious!! This pizza is so amazing. Everything we tried was so different and good. We absolutely loved the Burrata board!! It was awesome. The service here was also great. They were attentive and helped us decide what to order. You will love this place definitely check it out!!

Yelp
Such a good neighborhood spot! Pizzas are fresh and delicious and the small spot is full of charm. Seating is limited so prepare to carry out. Parking is tight, especially at lunchtime, but there is ample parking across the street in a large deck. Pizzas are lovingly prepared and so tasty!!

Yelp
We have at Sunnyside Pizzeria now a couple of times, and we really like it. They have a really cute restaurant in the atmosphere is great. It's a Neapolitan style pizzeria. My favorite pizza there is the hot honey pizza with pepperoni. It's delicious! My husband has had both the Mexicana and the Diavola, and he enjoyed both. We love the crust and that it's wood fired. They also serve pastas and more. The staff who work there have always been nice. And the kitchen is in the main restaurant, so it's cool that you can see the chefs prepare the pizza. I love that you can make a reservation. Plus, they also serve gelato!

Yelp
Where is a picture of the food? I really tried but we ate every bit upon arrival at the table. It was so delicious!!!! This place is super cute on the inside and tucked in the corner of a shopping center. I would highly recommend and would send all my friends and family here.

Yelp
We came on a week day night. It's not super crowded inside so we're lucky to get a table. We didn't see a long line but there also weren't any other available tables. It was also a Wednesday and that happened to be lady's night so we got half off wine glasses. The service was pretty good. The drinks came slow but the food came very fast. The pizza was very good. It wasn't as burnt as some other wood fire pizza and the crust had a bit more dough so I liked it more! Delicious. Had some interesting flavors I didn't try but I would consider next time.

Yelp
Very good, expert service and delicious options! Clean and trendy place too. In a fun part of Sandy Springs and plenty of parking. We showed up with 15+ in our group and they went to work in order to accommodate us. Will return!

Yelp
We were in the area and thought we'd take a chance. Native New Jerseyans here, we've had a pizza or two. This little place delivers on its' pizza! The ambiance is lovely and our waiter steered us away from a table that he thought might've too cold with a blower near by. Our Margherita pie was excellent. The 12" pie is perfect for 2 for lunch and the price was right at $15.00. They have a large assortment of beverages, including wine and beer. This will be our new stop when visiting doctors in the Sandy Springs area!

Yelp
We got the lemon pepper wings and the hot honey char pizza. Both were phenomenal. My daughter got the spaghetti and loved that as well, it tastes like an elevated Spaghetti-o's which in my mind is high praise! They also have a selection of gelato so save room for dessert. The dining space is a little small so if you want a seat get there early. Everyone on the staff was super cool and welcoming. Jeremiah is the man, go with whatever he recommends.

Yelp
fantastic pizza spot - amongst the best I've ever had :) Really friendly staff and great service. They do catering as well!

Yelp
Such a great place!! Food was so delicious. Everything I had and it took no time at all for freshly made pizza and pastas to come out. Prices were very fair. But parking was a little hard. At busy time, there's next to no parking because this place shares a shopping center with many different businesses inside. Other than that, it's just fine. Service was really nice and it's clean and nice little shop inside. I wouldn't try to host a big party here but only smaller tables.

Yelp
We've been kickin' the tire on Sunnyside Pizzeria for a while now. We finally checked it out and everything was excellent. We sat at the bar and ordered solid bottle of wine and tried the meatball appetizer. Hand on heart, these are the best meatballs in the city. The sauce tastes like a traditional Sunday sauce. It was like eating with our family in Brooklyn and Staten Island. 3 meatballs, amazing texture and the sauce is exquisite. You'll find yourself scraping the bowl with your finger. It's that good. For our mains we ordered the Hot Honey Char pizza and the Chicken Piccata. Sunnyside is known for the Hot Honey Char and this is well warranted. The quality of the pepperoni stands out, and it cups in the oven so it gets crispy around the edges. This pizza is a playful version of a traditional pepperoni pizza, but then has ricotta cheese and a drizzle of hot honey. The ricotta is great because it mellows out the pepperoni, and the hot honey offers a bit of sweet heat. We loved this pizza. I'm not normally a fan of Piccata, but my lady loves it. We were both blown away by this dish. Piccata doesn't typically have cream in it. Most places it's butter, lemon and capers. Sunnyside amps this up considerably by adding a dash of cream, making a richer dish, but it's not overly rich. It's just a perfect sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very thin, almost like a cutlet. They certainly don't skimp on the amount of chicken either. The pasta was fresh pasta, not boxed pasta. It was fantastic. We have a lot of Neapolitan pizza options in Atlanta now. Sunnyside stands out amongst them as a place that certainly stays inside the tradition of this style of pizza (and pastas), but they also have some playful options on the menu (like the Hot Honey Char) which modernize the tradition. The space is small, super charming and tucked away in the corner of the Springs Landing shopping center. We are super stoked to go back and try more of the menu. Hats off to the owners of this small business. Y'all are doing things right.

Yelp
Best pizzas ever. I tried the Mexican pizza and pesto pasta. Both really good. Staff is great. Ambience is good but it's a compact place. The best thing is their gelato's. Never had such creamiest gelato.

Hailey Q.

Yelp
The pistachio gelato was amazing, but I found plastics in it. Be careful when you eat it.

Yelp
A true hidden gem. The place is tucked in the corner of a shopping center in Sandy Springs. You walk in, and it's bright and modern. A nice aesthetic. There's a long list of pizzas to choose from and a handful of pastas. Everything I've tried has been good! Some favorites: hot honey pepperoni pizza, the pesto pasta and the chicken picatta. The picatta sauce is creamy and zesty. So good. I've tried pizzas from lots of different places around ATL, and this place is better than most. Just go!

Yelp
This was my first time here and it was a good first time. The app was delicious, I'd try a different pizza next time but the one I chose which had chorizo was tasty. The wings were lemon pepper and I had to send back as they weren't as done as I would have liked but they immediately corrected this. I'd go back if I was in the area for an app and another pizza. The space was light and not too big. The server was polite and made great suggestions when we asked.
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
Walked in and Rebecca greeted us immediately, we didn't have to wait long for a table, I was sooo ready to try the lemon pepper wings I saw on Yelp! And they were everything I was looking forward too, Donovan recommended these as well as when they came and they didn't disappoint, you could smell the lemon flavor as soon as they put them on the table and they were gone in minutes.... I ordered the Cesar salad, which was so good and fresh, along with a pepperoni pizza, everything was delicious, I could see why every table was full when we got in, the place is so warm and inviting, you immediately feel welcomed when you enter the door. I truly had an awesome experience here and an amazing meal, I will most definitely be back!!! FYI- I didn't get many pictures because we devoured this food as soon as it hit the table lol!!

Yelp
So we came in on a Saturday around 5/6 PM. We were asked did we have a reservation, we responded "No." and we were immediately told it would be a 45 minutes wait. We were a little pressed for time anyways but decided to order carryout. (S/N: I was kinda irritated after the fact. Bc she said it was a 45 minute wait. I pulled up my Opentable app and there were reservations for the next hour+ in 15 minute increments.) But we took two menus and sat down. We were approached by a gentlemen and he asked have we been helped yet. And we told him, yes unfortunately there is a 45 minute wait. In less than five minutes he came back and asked if we would mind sitting at the bar, we did not. We sat down at the bar. It was a little tight but we were just happy to be seated. The first thing we noticed peering into the kitchen was the diversity of the staff. We absolutely LOVED that. We were close enough to hear their banter and they all seemed to get along very well. At the bar, you will see an open kitchen and it's very enjoyable to watch. My spouse marveled at the workers' proficiency taking the pizzas in and out of the oven and swirling for the pasta dishes. Every single pasta dish looked immaculate. We were defiantly contemplating ordering pasta but did not. Hopefully we are in the area again. We end up ordering the lemon-pepper wing for an appetizer. They are tossed in lemon-pepper, fresh lemon and butter. They were a great starter. Super fresh and juicy. The menu says they are fried but it did not feel gluttonous. I honestly thought they were baked or oven-baked before revisiting the menu. I do wish they had additional flavors. My spouse end up putting some honey hot on them. She enjoyed that. She had the VEGGIE LOVERS add pepperoni and I had the HOT HONEY CHAR. They use wood fire brick oven so the pizzas come out SUPER fast. I dont think we waited more than 10 minute after the wings arrived before our pizza came. We were still eating the wings and i had half a beer remaining if I remember properly. Unfortunately, her pizza was accidentally rang in at VEGGIES + sausage. FORTUNATELY, we let them know and she had a fresh pizza in literally three minutes. Her pizza in her words: "Magically delicious. The vegetable were seasoned and cooked to perfection." My pizza, I enjoyed throughly. I think I will order the PEPPERONI next time. The ricotta on my pizza was still a bit cool bc the pizzas are in the over for less than two minutes. So that was poor planning on my behalf. The hot honey meshes well with the "cup & char" pepperonis and the ricotta. Outside of the first 5 minutes of our visit, everything was perfect. I didn't not realize the gentleman that helped us was the owner. (I assume he is, he is featured on the Instagram.) But he has earned a couple of fans from Augusta. We were thoroughly impressed with how he handled the staff, his attentiveness (which had rubbed off on the staff), his person-ability. This is not an area we frequent when we visit the metro Atlanta but I know we won't mind going a little off-course to visit again.

Yelp
Hot honey pizza and burrata board... everything!! We love getting delivery but dining in service was great too
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this spot. Didn't have a single issue and even our kids were ecstatic about their dishes. We ate the mexicana pizza and was able to substitute chicken for the chorizo since we don't eat pork. I must say it was delicious . I'll definitely be back for more. My kids devoured their buttery noodles and spaghetti with marinara sauce. They also enjoyed the gelato they have available for dessert. Can't go wrong with a stop here. A hidden neighborhood gem.

Yelp
After seeing this place being advertised on Secret Atlanta, I had to come check it out... and it did not disappoint! My partner and I absolutely loved the food and we already can't wait to go back. The Burrata Board was so lovely - bread was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. And we couldn't get enough of the amazing burrata and prosciutto. The pizza and pasta were also equally delicious. So flavorful! The pizza dough was just perfect and the pasta was Al dente, which is how we love our pasta. Nothing was over cooked and the flavors balanced so well together. The only thing I would add is that this isn't a very large restaurant. There are a few tables that seat between 2 to 4 people and then a few chairs along the bar. Not the best place for large groups but perfect for a date night or a small friend a gathering.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall a pretty good experience! Food: Lets get down to the good stuff here...the pizza is phenomenal. If you like the more authentic, Anticos adjacent pizza, this is a great place to nosh. They have really unique flavor combinations that feel Neapolitan! Not too many sauce options or dipping options, but the pizza is very flavorful. Price: I do feel like the price is okay - $15-$20 for each personal pizza, but the portions are large enough it's worth the price. Atmosphere: bright, quaint, open. Definitely not a place you'll want to bring a party of 20, but we were a group of 4 at lunch and had no issue. There was only one waitress for the restaurant and there were some minor details missed, so I do want to be mindful that covid staffing challenges may permit some extra patience. I'm sure dinner would've been a bit busier with more staff. Parking: ok so this is the challenge; not the restaurants fault but just give yourself an extra few minutes or be patient. We most definitely nearly witnessed a parking lot car fight and man that was uncomfy! Parking across the street is also an option and may be the better safer choice! Be safe y'all!

Denise B.

Yelp
Small pizza place Not fancy 6 tables at most!!!But worth a visit in sandy springs. Food was amazing! Best combinations of pizza, pastas and the lemon pepper wings are the best in the city. Good gelato and great wine selection.
google avatar

Kyle I.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, amazing people, the size of the pizza is filling and the ingredients and combinations are top notch. I'm lucky we tried it because we were tired from shopping and the pizza was killer! Have been back 20+ times. Kids love it, plus great wine selection and ice cream! The owners are super nice and very involved.

Jodi G.

Yelp
Went there with my family. I'll be honest, didn't eat the pizza and barely ate the salad. I have a difficult time eating somewhere that feels gross. The dust, dead bugs, trash, and general filth about the place really killed my appetite. While gloves are worn by the staff, I noticed that said gloves weren't changed between tasks (touching food then touching non food items then touching food). Aside from the lack of cleanliness, I don't like pizza that can't support its toppings. Overall a real disappointment because it smelled promising.

Elaine M.

Yelp
Pizza and salad were good. Manager was friendly and helpful. Pizza is baked in hearth oven.

Yelp
Wow!! What a hidden gem in Sandy Springs-- we went here for an impromptu dinner after my daughter's swim class nearby and it was incredible!! The food was so delicious and the service was spectacular. The hot honey char pizza was one of the best pizzas we've ever had in Atlanta!! We also enjoyed the ricotta gelato. The restaurant has limited seating but they are very kid-friendly and service by Jeremiah was outstanding. This will definitely be one of our go-tos!

Yelp
For a pizza that is small, it was extremely filling, and loved every bite of it! Wasn't too sauce, was crunchy and was well balanced to the touch where I still remember the bite a day after. _________________________________________________________ PARKING & LOCATION | [When you arrive to the location, it is behind the Sandy Springs Entertainment center in a small shopping complex. It is a small store and doesn't have a lot seating so do make reservations or ask for the wait time. You can also order takeout as an option if needed. The parking lot is a pretty moderate and you will be able to find parking, if it is not too busy.] _________________________________________________________ EXTERIOR & INTERIOR | [The store exterior is has a pretty easy sign to read and see, and its in the middle of the complex in the middle-corner. When you walk in the store, it is beautiful and has a very cute design. The store does have limit seats which probably only seats 20-25 people, probably max. They do have an open kitchen to watch the staff cook and its literally made like a little pizza joint. Love it!] _________________________________________________________ IS IT CLEAN? | [ABSOLUTELY CLEAN. FLOOR SPARKLING CLEAN.] _________________________________________________________ FOOD & DRINKS | [The pizza here was amazing in all regards. We got the 'Hot Honey Char' and it was just filled with imaginable flavors. The sweetness and spiciness combo match so well and the cheese was just perfect. The pepperoni was so good with the sauce because it was crisp to the touch. This is definitely worth a try and the portions were perfect because it was supper filling. Then we got the 'Ricotta' and 'Double Chocolate' gelato and recommend the combo. They both had their own flavor that magnified your taste buds and had its own unique texture; plus the size we get was basically a pint. for a total price of $27 it was well worth it. ] _________________________________________________________ SERVICE ‍‍| [I cannot be happier with the service. The lady we had was so happy, helpful, and was truly amazing. She helped us with the gelato decision and gave us the best decisions. A+++] _________________________________________________________ OVERALL | [I did a review about 'Anticos' and talked about other small pizza joints and this is what I was talking about. There are other pizza places that are better than a commonly, overused pizza joint. 'Sunnyside Pizzeria' will not disappoint you and is well worth for a date night and any night.]

Yelp
Very whelming, if I do say so myself. Disclaimer: This order was through Ubereats. Your experience may vary. I ordered the Hot Honey Char pizza and 8 Lemon Pepper Wings. The Wings were cooked well, but didn't taste particularly lemony or particularly peppery. I also got them with Cilantro Lime sauce, which was... a choice. I think they were fine, but not stellar. For 16 dollars for a serving of 8, these were expensive and a bit disappointing. The Char pizza was 20 bucks and again, felt overpriced. This is maybe a 14 inch pizza that's a light meal for two people. The pizza quality was pretty good, but for the price they're asking, it really should be. What set this off was everything was very cold. My uber eats order came through ahead of schedule, and I only live 2.5 miles or so from Sunnyside Pizzeria. There is no reason that this should have been room temperature, but it was. My wings were much warmer than the pizza. I'm honestly inclined to think someone else ordered a Hot Honey Char pizza, canceled, and I got one that was already made and they just shipped it out. Overall, it takes a lot for a Pizza place to make my rotation given all the competition, and Sunnyside Pizzeria falls short due to high prices and questionable service.

Yelp
Interesting combinations of pizzas unique to this shop. Takeout pizza was a bit mushy when I got it home so I baked it a bit more on a pizza stone to crisp up the bottom. That dramatically improved it. Place is modern, clean and tastefully furnished. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have gelatos and other menu items besides pizza that I have not tried yet. Definitely worth a visit and I will return to try some of the other pizzas and items. Just make sure the pizza is adequately crisp on the bottom, especially if you do takeout.

Yelp
We came here for the first time this week and could NOT have been more pleasantly surprised! It was so cute inside with welcoming and chic yet casual decor, and everyone was so nice! We tried the Peach Bellini (so pretty, tasty, and loved the edible flower!), Burratta Board (incredible), Lemon Pepper Wings (best ever), Creamy Pasta (delicious), Mumbai pizza (absolute amazing, their brand new recipe slaps), Truffle C pizza (sooo good), Hot Honey Char (absolutely 5 stars), Tiramisu (soo good), and 3 different kinds of gelato (Mango, Wild Berry, and Hazelnut, all of which were so dang good). The service was so good and all of the servers had some great recommendations and were so friendly. We will recommend this place to anyone who will listen and cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Let's eat local! On a night I was actually headed to another pizzeria, I was turned off because my hunger couldn't withstand the line to be seated. I hopped on Yelp to find another pizza place close by and Sunnyside popped up. Location This is a local pizzeria right in Sandy Springs. It's tucked into the corner of a shopping center. If you don't see it at first, just know that it does exist. Parking Plenty of free shared parking in the lot in front. The only downside is that there are MANY businesses sharing this parking lot and you may have to drive around a few times before finding a spot. Seating There is a long bar area as well as tables. For my visit, I sat the bar. Had a nice view of the wood fired pizza oven. The only thing I didn't like was watching the raw chicken wings be bagged and sealed in front of me. Experience It was a positive one for me. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food I had a half order of the Caesar salad and a hot honey char pizza. Both were delicious! I'd come back just for the salad if I wasn't in the mood for the pizza too. The pizza had great flavor. It would be hard to eat with your hands; thin pizza with heavy toppings never go well for eating with your hands. Great portion size for both. They also serve gelato!

Yelp
Ordered the vegetarian pizza with artichoke hearts and olives, it is delicious. I love the thin light crust I never feel stuffed but plenty to feel full. I've also tried the crispy brussels sprout also delicious.

Yelp
Went here today for lunch. Very good food. Got the meatball appetizer, which was delicious, although the center of them could have been hotter temperature wise. The margarita pizza was very flavorful. Fresh tomatoes and cheese without too much char. Only suggestion would be to squeeze the moisture out of the cheese, so it's not as runny. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Tiny pizza place in an ancient Sandy Springs shopping center. Don't let this fool you though. The pizza is outstanding and worth the drive. Our waitress was a bit unsure but the manager was awesome! I noted that he was helping her learn the ropes which means she'll do a great job. Since the place is small this allow for patrons to receive extra attention and it's obvious that the employees want to ensure you have a pleasant experience. We ordered an appetizer and a serving of olives. Both dishes were generously portioned. We shared a popular pizza dish and the portions were again enough for two people. I missed out on the gelato but will have to try it again next time.

Yelp
Beautiful little restaurant with awesome food! This place was so good and you should absolutely give it a visit. It's a smaller place but they do take reservation, which I recommend. They have bar top and table top options for reservations. We each got a pizza and tried the burrata board and everything was so good. Pizza is so fresh and the dough was truly, perfectly cooked. Staff was so nice and attentive as well.
