SunO Dessert

We’ve been to SunO several times and it was good, but this last time was horrible. We were there on Sunday (9/7) at 5:40pm. Only one family in the store, yet it took over 20 minutes for us to get our orders. We ordered one bubble tea and one small SunO. The bubble tea was good, but hardly any boba in it.. The SunO was literally melted all the way when we got it. Literally soup. The cherry in the SunO was also not pitted. I don’t know if the SunO was left sitting for those entire 20 mins or whatever. I was a SunO employee back in Duluth in the 2010s and this is completely unacceptable. Who serves a melted dessert?? I don’t know if we will be back.

I got the boba and shaved ice here. Their menu is fairly spread out. The boba wasn't expensive upwards of $7+. I got the pink lady shaved dessert, and it was delicious, soft, and squishy. I loved the mochi bits. Great and cute decor, especially with a Mortal Kombat arcade game.

Quiet atmosphere delicious Bingsoo. My new favorite Bingsoo spot, and it's dairy free, had a custom matcha bingsoo with redbeans, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream, super satisfying. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating, plus they know their stuff. You will get that animae ramen shop type vibe when you enter. Give them a try.

I love this place, I first discovered it in 2011 in Duluth and have been in love with the dessert ever since. I moved away from Atlanta for many years and have never found a suno place that tastes as great. I’m back now and am so sad they closed the Duluth location 😭 I visited the Decatur location recently and was pleased to find the suno still tastes great and the guy working was so sweet to all the customers and greeted everyone who walked in. Prices are unbeatable 🔥⭐️ I also loved the decor and they had a nice free games selection. Decatur is super far from my home so I wish they would reopen the Duluth location or open one closer to Suwanee! But will always stop by when I’m near Decatur 😊

The desserts and teas are good, prices are high, but the service is very bad. Cleanliness is not maintained and the worker is very unhappy. Today the store should've been open according to its timings but was closed with no sign explaining why.

We wanted to give this a place try since we were craving shaved ice. I got the mochi Heaven but substituted the strawberry SunO base for the taro base, which is only $0.50 extra. The taro taste is the same as taro milk tea. Mochi and condensed milk always goes well with either strawberry or taro shaved ice. My significant other got the brownie bonanza and the base lacks flavor. It tasted water down or melted ice cream. If it had more chocolate, it’d taste better. It’s a small and cozy place to enjoy some dessert in Decatur.

Oh my gosh we are OBSESSED with SunO & so wish we had one back home in Jacksonville!! The fluffy layers of creamy ice are unlike anything I've ever tried, it's like boba tea & froyo had a delicious baby. Taro is always the go-to for us & if you've never tried it, please do yourself a favor & give it a go!

They have so many options of desserts from Bubble tea to slushies to Suno's. I had brownie bonanza it was good. You can customize your toppings they will charge you extra. Their coffee jelly us my favourite. I had tropical SunO. It was fresh and I could taste a lot of mango. Must visit this place.

Huge fan of suno. I don't live in GA, so it is always a treat to get suno when I'm visiting. The seating area is pretty limited, but it's a nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends and family. Service was great. We were greeted promptly and asked if we had any questions or needed any recommendations. Once our order was placed, we had a short wait and our orders were complete. Flavor and texture of both the ice cream and bingsoo were on point. Very smooth and not grainy or icy like the competitors. I hope to be back on my next visit.

The vibes there are really cool but simple. Not doing too much. I've now had the shaved iced & milk teas & I'm pleased. I'm a taro girly when it comes to their shaved ice & milk tea and the pricing is pretty good to me. The service is good too considering they have a tablet to let you order yourself or you can order with the person behind the counter.

We're from FL but every time we're up in GA we make sure to stop by SunO. Love the shaved ice! So yummy with a variety of different toppings. Such a great place to grab a little sweet snack before heading back out in the road.

One of my favorite places for bubble tea. It is consistently delicious and it is cheaper than other places but doesn't taste cheap. The service is always friendly and I always feel welcome. They have recently revamped the space and it looks great. I definitely recommend checking them out for some great bubble tea.

This place has changed, and not for the better. This was my first time back since Covid and I was extremely disappointed. First of all, they are using the front left third of the space as a storage area, full of boxes. I know first hand that there is ample storage space in the back. The store has an overwhelming smell of cleaner, yet the place is very dirty, especially the air vents. The Thai Tea shaved ice has an odd, almost gooey consistency. The flavor is nothing like it used to be. My guess is that they are not using authentic Thai Tea because of the high price. I'm aware of how expensive it is and how time consuming the process to make it can be, but there truly is no substitute. I paid almost $10 for my dessert and left a $2 tip. The seating is poorly planned and the haphazardly hung turf that is stapled to the wall is just plain stupid. Here's the craziest thing.... after driving from Decatur to Buckhead and writing this lengthy review, the darned thing hasn't even melted at all. That's just not right. Such a shame that what was once one of my favorite places to treat myself has taken a turn in the wrong direction.

the only good part of the shop is when you put the straw in the cup. i ordered the strawberry boba with the tapioca pearls and the drink itself had no flavor at all i had way higher expectations when i saw the reviews and i was very disapointed in the drink. the tapioca was a bit off it had a kinda weird taste and did not taste like any other shop i've got them from, also they were playing a add for talkie on the tv 10 times in the 5 minutes we were there. the service was great it took only a few minutes. tho the prices were not that great if you're on a budget. i recommend just going to the tea leaf and creamery cause its way better and no more than 1 minute away from the shop,

I love Suno! Their desserts are a similar to shaved ice but instead of plain ice they use an ice that has condensed milk mixed into it. It results in a creamy shaved ice experience that I've never had anywhere else. I love how fresh and flavorful everything is and it has just the right amount of sweetness with the syrups they put on there. I've been twice and I got the Hawaiian both times. I highly recommend it for a fruity fresh treat!

I like the ambiance and the suno! They have good prices and the drinks come out very fast.

If thiseview was written about 10 years ago, it would be a 5 star review. Unfortunately, Suno has gone downhill in terms of the quality and taste of their desserts. I never really liked their bubble tea to be honest, but their shaved ice was to die for. On occasion, I would opt for some of their signature items, but I loved the create your own option. After giving into a craving, I stopped by on my way home. Something has definitely changed about their ingredients. I kept it simple and got an original suno as my base and added marshmallows, Oreo crumbs, and strawberry syrup. I will preface this by saying I used to practically drink the strawberry syrup, but nope, this syrup and the suno itself tasted extremely stale and just not good to say the least. It's such a shame that a place that was such an integral part of my high school and college experience just is not good anymore.

Let me preface this by saying Ive been coming here for around 10 years I remember back when they had crepes! That being said I went recently and while theres definitely been ivestment into the ambiance of the place, the suno and ingredients are definitely going down in quality. I ised to get bubble tea here and stopped ordering it because it went from fragrant milk tea to straight up milk. I used to think their boba was some of the best I ever tasted and that went downhill as well. Last time I went I was extremely dissapointed with the SunO I got. It just doesn't taste as good as it used to.

In a time where every boba tea place is charging more and more for their boba tea, SunO has kept their price low. The quality of the tea has never been that great here but I don't come here for the tea. Their shaved ice is good. I can't recall another place in Atlanta that has amazing shaved ice. Snowflake Tea House does have better tasting ice but it's all the way up in Pleaseant Hill and does cost more. SunO meanwhile has weekday specials. The large Thai tea is around $3.89 and about twice the size you'll find at most places that charge $3.75 for a medium. My wife and I will get the large sometimes and share. I do feel like they skimped a little on the toppings. Would I come here again? Yea. It's in a convenient place for me. I wouldn't go out of of my way to come here unless I wanted to cheap boba tea or shaved ice.

Really quick service and the Black Milk tea tasted great! Also this place is on the cheaper end for Boba (about $4) but still tastes high end.

SunO was an okay spot for a summer treat! I got an ice cream dish that was supposed to have brownies but they were out, so I got Kit Kats. My boyfriend had a similar signature bowl but with strawberry ice cream. The ice cream was just okay. My chocolate ice cream was pretty flavorless and not creamy. It may be the type of ice cream here. Luckily, it was plentiful. Service was okay but pretty slow. They have a lot of open hours which is nice - fun to get ice cream at 9:30pm on Fathers' Day/Juneteenth Sunday!

Decent place for dessert. I tried the Thai ice tea flavor and it was refreshing but nothing earth shattering.

This place is dirty and the staff don't wear masks or gloves when making the drinks/desserts. Also, the staff seemed so confused & poorly trained. The one staff member looked like they didn't want to be there. They also messed up my order! Never returning to this place.

Bogo today! So worth the drive from Smyrna! Ordered both the SunO Pappinsu and green tea red bean ! Both for me ! You can freeze them and eat one later!

This establishment offers a wide array of sweet and frozen treats! I've heard that the boba tastes like battery acid but that does not deter our brave team members from slurping down the tasty beverages. The staff working there is always courteous and kind, being very quick and efficient with their work. The "grass wall" in the back is cute and perfect for those who love sharing every aspect of their life. As long as you discard the occasional smell of cleaning products this place is pretty cool.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I took both of my kids here and my son ordered almost every topping on his dessert. The girl working was super nice and explaining the menu to my kids and making them super excited! Well, we were not even outside 2 minutes when my son dropped his whole cup while opening the car door, getting it all over himself, the inside of my car, and the ground. His eyes got all teary and he was so sad. We walked back inside and without even skipping a beat, the girl made him a new one and told him accidents happen. She wouldnt let me pay for the remade dessert either. Seriously?!?1 She could teach so many people a lesson or two on customer service. She did not have to do this, but she did, and it made such a difference to my son! THANK YOU!

This place is so underrated! It's a hidden gem and I low key want to keep it to myself. In addition to the shaved ice, they have great bubble tea and, thanks to the student discount, it's way cheaper than other local boba spots (under $3 with the student discount). Plus each employee is so nice. Great service every time

I love stopping here for guilt free treats. I usually get the black milk bubble tea and green tea ice cream or if I want something a little sweeter I'll get the thai tea. It's your standard bubble milk tea, but this location is convent to me and I can always get in and out with ease. I've had the green tea ice cream crepe before, it's not bad but the mix of ingredients (corn flakes, red beans, condensed milk, and green tea ice cream) together aren't really my thing. BUT the green tea by itself is my new favorite ice cream. It's not on the menu, but if you ask for you can buy a medium sized serving. I think I'm the only person that specifically goes there to buy it, it's much more convenient that driving to Super H Mart. They have weekly specials, I always seem to end up here on Tuesdays, which is how I ended up trying the thai tea. If you sign up for their email list they ALWAYS have some sort of special buy 1 get one free or free menu items for particular holidays, which is a great way to try different items on their menu. I personally prefer Suno to Honey Bubble on Ponce de Leon, because Suno has ample parking and is never crowded unless I go when school is out and there are a lot of kids at Suno.

Was in the area and stopped in for bubble tea. Their menu for bubble tea is a lot more scarce than other bubble tea places - only about 5-6 flavors total. That should've been my sign to leave, but alas, I was craving bubble tea. I ordered a large black milk tea with grass jelly at 75% sweetness and less ice. While the sweetness level is perfect, the rest of the drink was less than. The drink tasted a lot thinner and watered down than I'm used to, even with less ice. And the grass jelly? They totally skimped on. I saw them putting in two small portions from an ice-cube tray, which may be sufficient for a small sized drink but definitely not for a medium or large. Normally, I have the opposite issue with having too much toppings in my drink so I was really surprised. And to top it off, I didn't realize until I got to my car that the large cup size wouldn't fit my car's cup holder. So I had to hold that large cup of watered down bubble tea with too little jelly during my whole drive home. Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon, at least not for bubble tea.

Gotta be honest, I didn't even know SunO had bubble tea, but bubble tea is what brought me here. I tried their Taro milk tea with bubbles and got the large 32 oz ($3.49). Right off the bat, the simple price of SunO's large tea is roughly the price of competitors such as kung fu or sweet hut's medium, so you get lots of bang for your buck. Admittedly, the tea was not mixed very well (the tea was really warm, was stirred, not shaken, and I had to stir it myself so that the chill of the ice could chill my entire drink. Flavor of the Taro was pretty decent. Not super sweet, no aftertaste, but it has good flavor. The boba itself was kinda hard, but didn't take away from my enjoyment of the drink. This SunO is around the Emory area off of North Decatur road. Parking can get tight depending on the type of day, and exiting the lot can also be tight, but this is not unique to SunO's lot. Nice alternative when you want something sweet and chilled at pretty affordable prices.. I'm sure i'll be back!

They're are one of my favorite bubble tea places in Decatur! I've been a customer at this location for about 4 years! They are currently allowing only 1 customer inside at a time.

The menu was conveniently located off to the side right above the napkin and misc items station and away from the checkout counter. It's a strange set up, but I liked it bc I can stand there and try to figure out what to order without holding the line up. The girl working this particular Saturday was friendly and worked as fast as she could since she was the only employee working the front. It may seem like most people to-go their order as the place only had 1 couple dining in around 1 PM on a Saturday. The large Thai tea was humungous! Even though the bf and I were sharing, it took forever to finish. The tapioca pearls were chewy and seemed fresh. BTW, there was also weekday specials -- see my pic.

Covid precaution being followed. Revisited this place for our quick suno fixed but it does not taste as good as when we have it first. Maybe will retry it again when we come back and visit Atlanta.

Suno is delicious! I always get the mango smoothie with popping boba and it's amazing! Great employees and a cool little place. Really great prices too (especially compared to some other boba places). Worth a visit!

Suno has always been an old classic in the Duluth area, especially during summer time. I've been heading back to Suno everytime they have BOGO deals on their signature shaved ice or boba teas. Located right in front of Hmart, this location is always easy to spot from the highway. The interior has a few tables and sometimes they have a candy shop or tasting station for you to try toppings for free. My favorite that I always get here is the matcha shaved ice with red bean. You can opt to have any topping on the side in a separate container or just have it added on top. For around $7, its definitely big enough to share with a group of 2-4 people. Their boba teas can be good value too during deals and are good average taste. Overall if you're looking for a dessert place to stop by after dinner, definitely consider Suno!

In my head, I'd been calling this place "Sun-OH" but the website informs me that it's pronounced "Su-NO" like the word "snow." Well, you learn something new every day. SunO doesn't serve regular shaved ice but a form of flavored, creamy sweet shaved ice. I've had a small build you own Thai tea SunO ($2.99) with condensed milk ($0.49) and a small taro iced tea ($1.99) with tapioca bubbles ($0.49). If you don't want to create your own masterpiece, you can stick with SunO's prefab options. Possibilities are endless, from SunO flavors, to toppings, to syrups. The Thai tea SunO was delicious! The ice texture is soft, and you can definitely taste the Thai iced tea. The taro bubble tea was a hair too sweet for me, so I might ask for less sugary stuff next time. The bubbles had the right amount of chew, and they weren't stingy with the amount. I'll have to return on a Monday to get double bubbles sometime. SunO also offers crepes and slushies if those strike your fancy. Staffers are smiling and cheerful, always a bonus for an establishment. Very patient while I poured over the numerous options. At any given moment, you might find families, couples, and solo folks in the shop. Student discount available if you're currently educating yourself.

So I am not a big fan of paying money for ice whether it is shaved or not. However, supposedly their shaved ice is also milk based so it may be why it is creamy.. i got small base witj mango flavor (more than enough!) with mango and banana fruit toppings, red bean paste and peach sauce. Initially i considered green apple sauce but they made fun of me (supposedly weird combo). Anyhow. I was pretty happy with my dessert until something like ice crystal or some other thing stick on my gum. I threw up everything... not a pleasant feeling. I wouldnt ever go back bc of said thing happening here. However, i did read in the reviews that they do patpingsu well. I am now curious to try that but i may find a differeny store to try it.

Ice shaving machine is the same as the ones in Asia. The strawberry shaved ice felt a little more ice-y as opposed to the super soft melt in hour mouth type. Flavour is alright

This was good , parking was decent . Customer service was meh but I still enjoyed my ice cream .. patio area outside so you can sit outside if you want to . All in all very unique menu and I think it's worth trying . Also prices vary but very reasonable .

Went to sunos while meeting up with a friend. Its wednesday so they have a deal where ladies get a free black milk tea. Took the opportunity to take that deal. I ordered the medium rose milk tea iced with boba and pudding. The lady at the register gave me the option between a green tea or black tea mix. I opted for the black tea. I found the rose tea to be the perfect mix of sweetness. The custard went well with the tea and the boba was chewy but tasteless. The black milk tea that came with the deal wasnt that good. It tasted watered down and more like soy milkish than tea. This wouldnt drive me away since their thai tea is the bombb. Probably wont get boba with my tea anymore though.

SunO's was great when it first came out because it was a one of a kind shaved ice place. It was part of the original Asian boom restaurants and establishments that made Pleasant Hill the Asian food mecca that is now. However, now that other places are opening near the booming Sweet Hut on Pleasanthill, SunO is will have to watch out at PleasantHill and rely on the Emory crowd. Since it is the only bubble tea place around Emory, it certainly holds the monopoly. I am appreciate of the deals they have to encourage students to eat or enjoy the desserts but I wish they hadn't become so commercialized sometimes. So many of the flavors are the same: mango, passion fruit, kiwi and the flavors come from teh same 3-4 bottles of sugary syrup. Tha'ts right, if you want kiwi shaved ice? Got it, a large squirt. A kiwi flavored bubble tea? Large squirt. So that part is a little troubling to me because then you can't control the sweetness factor and everything in Suno's is UBER sweet. That is something I think they could work on since the other competition now offers patrons to choose the kind of sweetness they want. You get your bang for your buck for everything. So I recommend not to go for the boba tea unless you want SUPER sweet things. I instead recommend the shaved ice dessert because at least you can control how much syrup you want on it. I think they do the Asian flavors best like Pappinsu. The fruit ones are too sugary and after they melt you might as well ask for boba to make your melted concoction into a drink. Pappinsu has the red bean and asian flavors that make this dessert what it is supposed to be (a huge hit all over Asia with all kinds of Asian beans and jellies but not too sweet!) Usually young staff that are college kids so the people are friendly and personable. Tables get a little sticky after a while so be careful where you put your elbows. Menus are kinda sticky too so be careful of nice clothes or getting things stiky around.

To start with this place has great ambience and very friendly service, they'll customize any toppings you would like but they charge extra. This place has bubble teas, slushies, suno bowls. We ordered monsoon delight with Mango Suno base and topped with kiwis and mango jelly. SunO is flavoured ice which is shaved and placed as a base. I also tried Brownie bonanza it was delicious chocolate suno topped with. Brownie pieces and fresh strawberries. I love their coffee jelly topping if you visit this place go for coffee jelly.

I live in the apartment complex behind the shopping plaza in which SunO is now located, which means I pass that corner at least two times a day on my way to and from Emory's campus. I stopped in on my way home this evening, eager to try this kind of dessert for the first time. I was so bummed that I was out of town on Friday when they had their grand opening! Unfortunately my experience at SunO turned out to be very disappointing. First, the very pleasant Asian young man behind the counter informed me that the "Signature SunO's" only come in the "regular" size, that is, about 1.5 times larger than a normal soup or cereal bowl a.k.a. wayyy too large a portion for me. Also: they each cost $6.07--an outrageous price! There are 18 different Signature SunO's, each with a combination of at least two toppings and two sauces. That what seem to be the most interesting and appealing desserts offered are unavailable in normal portions is a serious deterrent to me. So instead, I ordered a M & M & M "SunO for Kids" in a "small"-sized cup for $4 (one of five available combo options). What I got was the shaved ice, a handful of M&Ms, and a serious dousing of chocolate sauce. I'm not sure to what the third 'M' refers! The cup was still huge (about the size of a large soup-to-go bowl) and very deep, which meant that the topping to shaved-ice ratio was completely out of whack, which was disappointing, because the "vanilla"-ish shaved ice is rather bland and definitely needs to be balanced against other flavors. Granted, there are other things one can order at SunO, like bubble tea and milkshakes, so I might be tempted to stop in again and try those items. The store is very peppy and aesthetically pleasing, is open late (10 pm), and seems to be staffed by nice servers, and I genuinely want to like and support it. But the high prices and questionable tastiness of their product are currently working against them in my book.

SunO is an Asian dessert spot with bubble teas. We tried the strawberry shaved ice with kit kats on top, it was very good, but also really sweet because they use condensed milk, we couldn't finish it. I also had a taro milk tea which was very good and, for the size, cheaper than most other bubble tea places. The sizes are very large for the price, great value. The interior is nothing special, unlike Sweethut and other bubble tea or icecream shops.

My lil girl loves this desert spot for her slushies and snow cups. The lychees and mango bits in the green teas add flavor and texture to you drinks. It's a little gem in the Decatur-Clarimont area. It's never busy when I go and the cashier is always eager to serve and explain the menu.

Got my standard bubble tea order - iced milk tea with pearls. The pearls were still very warm when I got the drink, making the whole thing lukewarm..not ideal Taste-wise, it was okay! A little too sweet and a little too milky (you can barely taste the tea). If you're in the area, I'd recommend, but if not, I'm sure you can find better!

1) The customer service is really good except one employee who recently got hired there. He did get my order wrong so some other employees helped him out. I felt as if this was very kind and it was a good thing they held each other accountable. 2) It was my first time here at SunO and I really enjoyed it. Although it was a small shop they really have a lot to offer! Not to mention the crazy amount of mix and match ice cream creations! Yum! The different variety of flavors is endless! 3) Everything had a place and the stations looked nice and tidy. There wasn't any bugs or anything like that which is also a good add-on. 4) It also is pretty cool that you can see how the ice cream is made. *ℛℯℴℯℴ ℱℴ ℳℯ* Hey you, YEA YOU! Just kidding I'm not a milk commercial. When you get a chance you should definitely come here. Look, I know this is going to sound weird but Coconut ice cream, Passion fruit syrup, Reese's Peanut Butter Mini Cups and Mochi, it's making my mouth water just thinking about it. But trust me it's the way to go

I started to drink bubble tea in the last 3 months and this shop was my first bubble tea place. First of all, I didn't see anything wrong with how they made their bubble teas at first until my stomach started hurting every time right after finishing my tea. What the problem was I didn't realize they use fruit flavored syrup instead of real fruit tea which similar shops such as Honey Bee, Sweet Hut, Kung Fu Tea, and this make a world of difference. Second of all, they aren't just a bubble tea shop so using cheaper ingredients for their bubble teas isn't one of their biggest concerns, what you get instead is an extra large bubble tea here for the price of a small one at a healthier bubble tea place. If you don't care as much about drinking as healthy bubble tea, you might be ok with this place. My rate is based off this shop not being the worst price wise but not the best quality wise.

I'm posting my nephew's review. He particularly liked the strawberry Suno and is asking for more right now. "This is the yummiest place in the world. I love it. I'd give this ice cream 6 out of 5 stars."

It was a little confusing to figure out at first because we couldn't find an accessible menu until we made it up to the register. At that point I'd already like to have an idea of my order so I can keep the line moving. Signage around the room primarily tells you about a few of the shaved ice choices, but you can create your own combination and they also have drinks. We really enjoyed the unique Thai tea flavored shaved ice with the condensed milk sauce. The coffee jelly wasn't my favorite but my husband enjoyed it and I definitely like the interesting concept. SunO brings unique flavors and interesting options to the table, and we are eager to try again!

Meh. Honestly the Asian food/dessert scene in Atlanta is weaker than its counterpart in NYC and Cali. Damn. The ice here was so sweet that, when melted, reminded me of simple syrup. I tried to mimic something close to Snowdays creation in NYC (the Yeti if you know what I am talking about) with shaved green tea ice, condensed milk, mochi, strawberries and brownies .. I think I spent close to $7-8 creating this concoction as their combinations were quite simple (ie strawberries with milk shaved ice) .. man oh man, it just couldn't hit the spot because it tasted like diabetes paradise. Green tea had virtually no hint of matcha and was overwhelmingly sweet. The added condensed milk provided an unwanted diabetic punch. It was definitely my fault to assume the ice would be appropriately flavored .. but man, I was disappointed to say the least. Def do not plan on returning.

One of my favorite shaved ice places in Atlanta. I've been coming here for years. Their shaved ice is so soft, like a fresh layer of snow. They have nice toppings as well, and their prices are reasonable. They even have a loyalty card program where after a certain number of purchases you can get one free. Every year they have a free event where they give out shaved ice, bubble teas, and other items. Over the years, this event has gotten crazy crowded where lines are ridiculously long due to its popularity. There's a lot of parking available and the service is pretty great. The cashier actually asked if I had a student ID for a 10% off discount and was so friendly. We got the Strawberry Banana Signature SunO but substituted the strawberry shaved ice with the original as well as the Coffee Mocha Slushie with boba. Both were adequate but not very good to be completely honest. The bananas in the SunO were real but somehow tasted artificial to me. The slushie was too sweet and the boba was hard (probably because the icyness of the slushie messed with the texture). We didn't end up finishing either of them. I probably wouldn't come back which is sad because I used to really like this place and the workers are REALLY nice.

Reason for going: My roommate loves this Asian joint because she loves bubble tea and she invited me to tag along. Location: Two doors down from Finders Keepers off of North Decatur Rd. The shop is located at the opposite end of Choco*late. Venue: The place was clean and very baby blue (the color of the walls were baby blue), but so much smaller than Sweet Hut. The had booths to sit in at the opposite end of their ordering counter and register. What they sell: Crepes, bubble tea, and shaved ice. I ordered: Thai coffee. Size Large Price: I paid a total of $3.36 for a size large coffee, so the prices are pretty generous! Overall: The place is okay, but nothing that makes my socks fall off. My drink was okay and had the potential to be great, but they put very little ice so my "ice coffee" was not very cold or icy. I felt like like I was drinking room temperature coffee, so I threw it away once my roommate and I got back home. However, I do want to go back there again to try their crepes out because my boyfriend is Russian and my mother is Japanese, so crepes are my thing.

SunO's pappinsu is solid. The ice is so smooth and milky. And they give you a lot of mochi. Love it. Other reviewers are complaining about their bubble tea, but that's not SunO's signature dessert. Would you order sushi at a Greek restaurant? I wouldn't. Then don't order bubble tea at a place that specializes in frozen products. Last time I checked, bubble tea wasn't served frozen.

Best ever!! We come all the way from California and make sure we get SunO as many times as we can when we visit or fly through Atlanta! Love this place and there is nothing like it on the West coast... will keep coming back
