The Ultimate Guide to Boba in Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley

"Shake 17 times. Seventeen is the magic number that Sunright claims patrons should shake its drinks for the perfect blend. Sunright has some of the most unique drinks in the SGV. The shop imports its ingredients from Taiwan, with the exception of matcha powder from Japan. The signature Sunright Fruit Tea is made using high-quality oolong tea that is mixed with fresh-squeezed orange juice, passionfruit, and orange and lemon slices. The milk tea is sweetened with house-made brown sugar, just like in Taiwan. The slightly larger-than-average boba is cooked for 90 minutes in brown sugar to ensure that the boba fully absorbs the flavor. Every month or so Sunright, releases exclusive seasonal flavors that are only available for a limited time. The seasonal grapefruit yakult is a fan favorite with its citrusy blend of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and yakult yogurt served with grapefruit slices. Another addition, Summer Frostie, is a smoothie made with passionfruit and pineapple jam from Taiwan, served with cheese foam and jasmine tea jelly." - Kristie Hang

Yelp
My usual spot is Half and Half, however, I do enjoy Sunright Tea because I can order ahead online either from their website or on the Toast App and my drink(s) will be ready by the time I arrive at the store. Very convenient! At Sunright, I like their Jasmine Green Tea with Agar Boba and Grass Jelly with 50% sugar. My only issue is that they could give a larger scoop of Grass Jelly. I'll be back and have tried several Sunright Tea locations as well! Xie Xie!

Yelp
Being near the SGV, there are a LOT of boba spots. And we've tried many around our area. We always keep coming back to Sunright because it's not only good, but consistently good. We've tried different teas - from milk teas, to fruit teas, to the frosties, and the yakults - and we've liked all of them. It's hard to describe but there's a quality with their teas compared to some other boba spots in the area. Some of our favorites are the matcha milk tea, ceylon milk tea, sunright fruit tea, and mango jasmine tea. We keep going with those because they always hit the spot just right. We like to try some of their seasonal drinks and those are usually pretty good too. We'll continue to show love to Sunright Tea Studio because our drinks continue to be made with love

Yelp
This Sunright Tea Studio can be found in the same plaza as Tokyo Ramen, with plenty of parking available. I made an order online and stopped by this location with my husband this past Saturday afternoon. Our drinks were ready when we came in. I ordered: Grapefruit Jasmine Tea, $5.95- This drink was made with no ice and with 50% sweetener. This drink was a major disappointment as it was oversteeped. So it was bitter and ruined a perfectly good cup of tea. Sunright Fruit Tea, $5.95- My drink was made with no ice and 50% sweetener as well. This drink came out perfect and was consistent with the other Sunright Tea locations that I have had it at (this fruit tea is one of three usual drinks I like to order at Sunright). This drink has thin slices of oranges in it, which gives it a nice refreshing citrus taste. --------------------------------- (Total= $11.90 after tax) I am a bit disappointed that my husband's drink was not good and ruined over the strong bitter taste. This is not what I would expect from Sunright Tea, as this is one of my favorite teahouse chains. I typically do not visit Diamond bar often so I most likely won't be coming again anytime soon. But I would still consider dropping by if I was in the area and wanted tea. But I would probably not order the Grapefruit tea for my husband.

Yelp
Worst service ever. The attendant Sophia was extremely rude and obviously lying to me about not letting me use the restroom.

Yelp
I've had the Sunright in Rowland Heights and loved it these, so since we were having dinner next door we decided to try out this location. I ordered the Matcha Brulee Oat Latte ($5.95) with less ice, 25% sugar, and brown sugar boba. What I didn't like from here was the boba. I don't know what they do differently from the other locations, but the ones here are really hard to suck up through the straw. It'd the size that would get stuck up in the middle of the straw and while you're trying to suck the boba up it would suddenly shoot up. Definitely a chocking hazard. Glad that they offer milk alternatives for the same price as their regular milk teas. I think the teas here are pretty solid, but would pass on the boba. I would come here if I already happened to be in this same plaza for lunch or dinner but I don't think I would come specifically for this considering that parking's a nightmare.

Yelp
Nice experience! Our drink tasted good. Came here to try one of their drinks after dinner and it was a pleasant experience. Got the crème brûlée with boba bc it was recommended as a popular item. Came out very quick and tasted delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Very clean inside, some seating for dine in. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
I had to meet up with a friend at 10am and wanted to grab boba together. Surprisingly, most of the boba shops I wanted to go to in the area all started at 12pm. Only the Sunright in Diamond Bar opens at 9:30am. That's where we will go! There is a kiosk for ordering. You can pick your sweetness and ice level for the drinks. The staff will call your name when the drinks are ready. I ordered Green Tea Yakult with brown sugar boba, 50% sugar and less ice. The drinks came out pretty fast and it tasted good. The shop and tables are clean. It will be my go to boba shop especially when I want to grab a drink in the morning.

Yelp
Sunright is a solid fave! New topping in rotation is Mochi! + Wintermelon Latte ($5.50 + $1 Mochi; 75% sweet): sadly this is the lowest sweetness adjustment otherwise this would be the perfect drink! Love the slight wintermelon flavor paired with the chewy, noodle-like strands of mochi (8.3/10)

Yelp
Service was good but the interior is a bit dirty looking. I ordered the Taro milk tea less ice and let me tell you lol it was like taking a direct mouthful of protein powder. I started to mix it like crazy, got a new straw, and another sip of straight powder. Lol I was in disbelief at how poorly the drink was made. Won't be back

Yelp
Sunright is one of my favorite boba shops cause they have the best boba and drinks imo I'm so happy that they expanded to sm diff locations cus I live in OC but was in Rowland for a bit Their fruity drinks and milk teas are saurrrrrr delicious and I'm so glad I came to this location cus I got the maplestory kiwi drink and they gave me a little card to redeem free maplestory loot xD the Irvine location never gave me that shit and I been to that location sm times to get my kiwi drink LOLOL 626 is simply superior

Yelp
Very disappointed with my experience here today. I ordered a sunright BOBA MILK TEA and a likely inexperienced server initially gave me just a BOBA MILK, and I had to argue with him multiple times to help him understand that I ordered a boba milk tea and that what he gave me was just MILK, but he seemed very confused with my concern. He later remade it but I'm pretty sure either 1) he used the wrong tea, or 2) the tea was very diluted today because it does not taste like how it normally tastes like. The drink was Very watered down, all I could really taste was the brown sugar and boba. The boba itself was nice and chewy but the drink was very disappointing. I understand that maybe that server was new, but even if that was the case, then someone should have supervised him so he knows which tea to dispense per drink. Sunright has been one of my favorite chains, and I've been to multiple locations in LA, inland empire, and OC, and this is probably the worst experience I've had. Would not recommend this location.

Yelp
Boba here never misses. The oreo brulee is perfect for any occasion and they make it fast. It came out within 3 minutes of ordering on the kiosk when no one was there. It also had this super cute packaging.

Yelp
Delicious milk teas, super fresh & tasty boba, friendly staff, and a very lively, upbeat vibe! The place was absolutely packed with people but our group of 5 was still able to grab a comfortable table and our drinks came out surprisingly fast! I've had Sunright at other locations and at Yelp events in the past but this was my first time here and I was not disappointed! I tried their taro milk tea with boba and my hubby had their mango milk tea. The mango milk tea was full of delicious mango flavor and very creamy - it was excellent. It's extremely sweet so I recommend less sugar - I'd order with 25% sugar next time but that's a personal preference - it's still lovely. My taro milk tea had decent flavor - but I forgot to shake it up a lot and got a mouth full of mushy taro flavoring lol - so remember to shake and stir first y'all!! Their boba is always excellent- it's warm and full of brown sugar flavor - definitely always very fresh. They have a great recipe! I noticed they were also selling DIY boba kits - very interesting!! I may have to try that one of these days. They have quite a large menu and you order at the kiosk so it's self service. All the staff were very happy, friendly and welcoming - full of smiles even though it was bursting with people - so busy! It's in a large shopping center so there's plenty of parking and lots of restaurants nearby. Will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Yelp
Matcha red bean frostie is pretty great. Can take awhile sometimes so order ahead to avoid the wait.

Yelp
I've been to this location several times already and every single time I step foot into this store, I already know that I'm in a Sunright cause of the sweet aroma and the smell of cooked boba surrounding the environment. I can't really comment about the service because there was only a machine ordering station, but it was really easy to access and order from. I got the strawberry jasmine tea which was so refreshing especially on such a hot day. I love how they add real strawberries to it. The tea itself wasn't too strong, wasn't too light, just perfect. The one thing I disliked about this drink was the boba. It had a nice chew and distinct brown sugar taste, but it was clumped together and became really hard to suck through the straw. The taro milk tea that my friend got was good too. The milk tea itself is not taro flavored, but what makes it taro tasting is the taro puree that is lined on the inside of the cup. Always a good, classic drink to get and the fresh taro in the cup isn't too sweet either. The boba though was still a concern though. Overall, the drinks itself were good but the boba was just too clumpy. The other times that I've went, I never had that problem but I will overlook it cause of the other good qualities that the boba has. I also want to comment about how nice the cups are. Very sturdy and has a nice matte feel to it. I'm definitely come back again to try other delicious drinks!

Yelp
I had a drink here with some of the teachers that I work with. The drinks were great, and I like how fast and professional the employees here are. Annie is a wonderful store manager and quickly gets the drinks ready. It seems like the employees do a pretty good job keeping the place clean. It would be nice if this place is closer to my area, however, this is a perfect spot to get delicious tea if you are around the area!

Yelp
They consistently have FRESH BOBA!!! You can tell... it's so warm, and delish! Love this spot, they are quick service and super friendly. Highly recommend! A+++ for fresh boba! Got the Crème Brulee Brown Sugar Boba with Almond Milk. They also have Oat milk as an option. Go. Try. It. Now.

Yelp
Sunright has been my go to drink spot since I first discovered it in 2020. I love the grapefruit jasmine tea and sunright fruit tea when I want something without dairy. It's light, refreshing and beautiful with all the fresh fruit slices. The oolong cheese foam and oolong milk tea has a nice roasted flavor. I wish the jasmine milk tea was less milky. It's usually my go to drink at most tea spots but unfortunately not here. All the taro drinks are great. The fresh taro pieces keeps me coming back for more. I appreciate the online ordering as my drinks are always ready when I pick them up. They have a kiosk at the front of the store for you to order in person. I dislike how they took away in person ordering. It seems impersonal and it's hard to ask for staff recommendations. Not many seats if you want to sit down and hangout. It's definitely more of a grab and go drink spot. Parking is kind of difficult in the plaza.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite places for boba in Socal. Never have I been disappointed with a drink. I've tried the fruit teas, four seasons milk tea, creme brulee milk tea, and thai tea. All delicious and well fashioned. Easy to order on an ipad. I like that you can edit the sweetness level, amount of ice, type of milk, and of course toppings. Always come here when I'm in town.

Yelp
First, let me say this was a decent boba drink. We were somewhat satisfied with it. The ordering was easy and the drinks came out fast. Not too crowded. Some boba places are super popular and the wait is crazy. We went on a Tuesday night after dinner and there was no line. Something that bothered me was that I saw about 10 cases of Costco milk sitting on the floor and a paper sign nearby that said out of order. Was the fridge broken? Milk should not be out, unrefrigerated on a slow evening, much less sitting on the floor? We got the kids oreo boba and a taro milk tea. Both were pretty average. Not great, not terrible. Compared to all the boba places within 20 min drive, it doesnt stand out. Hard to recommend this place, but would not object walking over for a boba after lunch.
google avatar

Kyung Jin K.

Yelp
Sunright is always decent, but there's always a thing or two that's inconvenient whenever I visit. There will be drinks advertised on the poster outside that aren't available anymore, they'll be out of boba, or they'll run out of another ingredient and just not tell you about it before making the drink. The most recent visit, I got the plum frostie purely to try out the jasmine jelly, and when I went to pick it up, the worker didn't even mention that my drink was missing something until I asked about it. Super disappointing and I'll probably just stick to another location.

Yelp
Sunright tea is a solid tea place that has impressed me with its boba tea offerings. The boba itself is perfectly chewy, and they offer a wide range of options to satisfy any craving. One standout is their oolong milk tea, which boasts a smooth and rich flavor profile that I thoroughly enjoyed. They also excel in their variety of other tea options, providing a diverse selection for tea enthusiasts. However, what sets Sunright tea apart is their yakult drink. This unique offering is refreshing and not commonly found in other tea places. The combination of the tangy and sweet yakult with the tea creates a delightful and distinct flavor that leaves a lasting impression. Overall, Sunright tea is a reliable choice when it comes to enjoying a good cup of tea. Their boba tea is satisfying, and the oolong milk tea is a personal favorite. The inclusion of the refreshing and uncommon yakult drink adds an interesting twist to their menu. If you're looking for a solid tea place with a variety of options, Sunright tea is worth a visit.

Yelp
Previously it was one of my favorite tea studios but the quality is not as good as before. I ordered mocha drinks but they contained more water instead of the flavor of milk. There is only one stuff who is making all the drinks. You can feel it's not as popular as before. Will not come again.
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
I went to grab a classic Ceylon milk tea today, and the drink tasted horrible. The boba wasn't fresh; I believe they used overnight boba, which sucks. It was not soft and chewy but hard to chew. The milk tea tasted very bland, like they didn't add tea bags in their tea. I'm very disappointed as their drinks are not up to standard and consistent across other stores. If you want good boba, sadly, I do not recommend it.

Yelp
I've never experienced a bad interaction with any sunright worker, but this morning (10/18 @ 11:15AM) the female worker was so rude for no reason. I walked in and she doesn't greet me or anything which is okay but I wasn't going to grab my drinks without her acknowledging me first just in case I grab someone else's drinks. She stares at me without saying anything and I say my order pick up name and she points at the drinks in an annoyed way. I asked for a bag and she looks to the side and rolls her eyes (right in front of me!!!!) and then grabs a bag and throws it at the table without bagging it for me (which is fine, I can bag it myself.) But there is no need to be so rude if you're having a bad morning. As a server and boba barista, I have never treated a customer with bad service even if I am in a bad mood. I am sad/shocked because I have never experienced something like that before.
google avatar

Yelp
The mango boba is the go to for here. Not too sweet yet very tasty. Ordering through the app and picking it up is super convenient.
google avatar

David Y.

Yelp
Good selection, multiple ordering options, and fast service. Interior is clean and nice. They sort of skipped my order but nothing to be mad about...
google avatar

Jenny Y.

Yelp
So I went to Arcadia location and just out of curiosity asked if they also own Diamond Bar. The employee said yes and when I asked about the phone situation at Diamond Bar location and how I couldn't call to cancel my order. He said he will let the owner know. Owner offered to refund me the money. Obviously I haven't tasted their food but I do think this is a good business practice. Usually Asian owned places don't issue refund. But this place, probably owned by second-gen Asian owners did issue a refund. I totally appreciate this!!! And we're not inheriting the business practices that our immigrant parents did and following the mainstream. :)

Yelp
The parking lot is huge with plenty of parking! We ordered the oreo brulee boba milk and sunright fruit tea. More of a 3.5 stars, but I rounded up. Oreo brulee: The drink wasn't very sweet at normal sugar levels. The drink was thicker because of the brulee cream. The boba itself was soft but overcooked-it wasn't chewy. We didn't enjoy this drink much. I wish the oreo provided more texture to this drink because I wouldn't have known it was in the drink if it wasn't for the color. Sunright fruit tea: I like that this tea was consistent with other sunright locations. The fresh oj really stands out and is very refreshing in the drink.

Yelp
The very first time I tried Sunright Tea Studio was in Irvine. I thought the quality was really great until I tried other locations around 626 area. It was a hit-or-miss situation. Sometimes the drink I ordered does not come out right, especially when I order it the way I normally do. It either comes out too sweet or too bland. So, I stopped ordering drinks from Sunright Tea Studio in general for a little more than a year now. I recently came to this location right after having lunch nearby and I was thinking, "Should I give it another try?" I walked into the shop and looked at the menu. The one that caught my attention was the Brown Sugar Boba Milk because I order that same drink at R&B. I wanted to see if Sunright Tea Studio's version of the drink tastes just as good as the one at R&B. I did not wait long for my order, and when I took the first sip, I thought it was pretty good. It was sweet, considering I did not make any adjustments to the sweetness level. After I had the ice diluted the milk tea, the drink tasted a lot better. I would say it tastes equally as good as R&B. Of course, the milk tea tastes different but still equally as good. I would come back to this location again if I am ever nearby.
google avatar

Ada L.

Yelp
My favorite drinks from Sunright are the Grape Frostie and Fruit tea. The Strawberry Frostie used to be my favorite but ever since the Grape Frostie came out, that's my go to drink. I like that they blend actual fruits in their frosties. I usually get less sweet cause it is on the sweeter side. The fruit tea is a staple. I always order online at the location cause it is pretty busy. The drinks usually take a while and longer than the time it says after you order. Parking is chaotic during lunch and dinner times especially on the weekends.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
Rain or shine Boba is always delicious. Hit the spot along with some sushi on this raining Cali Saturday to end the year. Second time coming to this place, only when the kids allow us to go because of nap time. Definitely a parent treat although the kids love the boba. First time trying the Coffee Oolong Milk Tea, nice and smooth, exactly what I was looking for today. My wife always knows better than I what I want. She's the best!
google avatar

Regina L.

Yelp
I don't frequent tea places often, but when I do, it's always for the Taro Frostie at Sunright. Orders are currently being taken by the kiosk located inside the store so don't expect to be assisted by a cashier. I ordered the Fresh Taro Frostie ($5.75) via the kiosk and my order was ready in about 20 minutes. It was quite a long wait for a drink and they always seem to be busy so I recommend ordering online if you're not looking to wait in the store. Despite the wait, I really enjoyed my drink. You can tell they use real taro as opposed to the artificially flavored taro powder and I loved the little bits of taro that would occasionally make their way up the straw. The frostie is creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I hear you can't go wrong with a lot of the drinks at Sunright but the Taro Frostie is definitely my go-to.
google avatar

Irene Y.

Yelp
Typically, I love sunright. I ordered taro boba milk through the app. Unlike other locations I've been to, this location in Diamond Bar skimped out on the taro (very little amount, doesn't even fully line the cup like they usually do), and it was mostly milk tea. I asked for no ice, but there was ice in my drink. I'm a bit disappointed with my 6.25$ drink. I would think twice about going back to this location.
google avatar

Jo H.

Yelp
This used to be one of my go-to boba places. These past few visits were not nearly as good as before. I always get the cheese foam drinks because they were great. For the past 6 months, their cheese foam got really blend! They're watery and gross. It's definitely not a fluke, it's been consistently watery and diluted for months already. But they still charge you $1 for it. This location in particular is very slow as in getting orders ready. There's always a long line even though they have 3-4 staff working at the same time. The reason being most of them are new. And they have a tendency of messing up orders. Yesterday we spent 45mins for ONE drink just for them to tell us we didn't order?! Nope it wasn't a system glitch, it's because they made my drink wrong and left it on the counter but failed to acknowledge the mistake and never remake a new one. Never apologized either!!! They messed up other customers orders too. One after another, non-stop during the unnecessary 45mins wait.
google avatar

steph c.

Yelp
Came here twice in 3 days. The matcha drinks and yakult drinks are great, as is the brown sugar boba milk tea. They offer online order for pickup, which helps avoid waiting in line.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick refreshment after dinner at Myung In Dumpling down the way. Ordering was easy via their kiosk and service friendly and fast. The drinks were good, but my kids said they have had better and gave me their rating of four stars. I really didn't have my own drink, so going with their recommendation. They have a lot of options to customize your drink, so I say try it for yourself and find a combination that works for you.
google avatar

Edwin W.

Yelp
Always a solid place for drinks, there's so many boba shops out there but they keep expanding despite the competition
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
I tried Sunright for the first time this afternoon and had a "meh" experience. I ordered 4 drinks on their website for me and the family, all at 75% sweetness: *Sunright Fruit Tea - 5/5. Refreshing and tasty! Best of the bunch. *Mango Jasmine Tea w/ Lychee Jelly - 4/5. Overly sweet even with the reduced sweetness request. Taste was ok. *Crème Brûlée Boba Milk - 3/5. Nothing special about this drink, there was no distinctive flavor that tasted like crème brûlée. The brown sugar boba was on the hard side. When I drank it, it wasn't very cold, then I realized they forgot to put ice inside! *Fresh Taro Frostie w/ Honey Boba - 4/5. I loved that they use fresh taro, didn't love that their honey boba wasn't chewy. Overall, the fruit tea is what they do right. Boba could use improvement however.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite boba tea spot. The drinks are delicious. Good quality. The size is a bit small but I guess it's bcuz I wanted more. Haha. They give a lot of toppings. Summer is coming and I will be coming more often haha

Yelp
AHHHH Sunright always hits the spot! Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** You order on a kiosk in the hallway, so the interaction with staff is minimal, but our orders came out pretty quickly even though we had 5 drinks and it looked like they were also working on online orders. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** All Sunright locations are decorated similarly with bright and lively, very Instagrammable walls and seemingly effortless photo ops. **Price & portion, 5/5** Boba prices are creeping up! At about $6 per cup, pricier than I would've liked but can't fault them for needing to keep up with the area. **Presentation, 5/5** All the drinks were gorgeous and looked exactly as expected! No catfishing here! **Taste, 5/5** I got a pudding boba milk, half sweet, less ice, and it was DELICIOUS! The nuttiness of the sweet milk, silky egg pudding, and chewy pearls worked so well together. Highly recommend this drink if you like different flavors and textures, it keeps each sip interesting and feels more like a whole dessert than a drink :) **Other notes** Parking is in the garage behind the strip mall, and beware that there's no signage from the back that shows where Sunright is. It's kind of smack dab in the middle though and shouldn't be difficult to find.

Yelp
I've experienced Sunright Tea in various places; however, was disappointed with my visit to this location. Considering that Sunright is a relatively large chain, I expect the establishment to employ enough workers to keep up with the possible massive influx of customers. That is not the case with this location. I could see the impatience and frustration by other customers, with constant inquiries regarding when they would receive their drink. There appears to be three baristas making drinks for about 40-50 people. I understand that Sunright is a great place for boba, yet I would encourage management to improve customer service. Customers want to receive their drinks in a timely fashion, and if they do need to wait it would be nice to wait in suitable conditions. The AC ceases to exist or is not adequate in this branch. Even more disappointing, I was waiting for my drinks and saw what looked like my order sit on the table for a while. It took the baristas about five minutes to call my name after my drinks were made. Another guy next to me asked the baristas if we were supposed to be grabbing our own drinks because the workers neglected to serve customers directly after the drinks were made. Long story short, no one wants to wait 45 minutes to an hour for boba, especially when Ding Tea is next door.
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
They are quick, and I love the mochi topping. I've tried the thai tea, taro, and pumpkin spice tea so far. All three have been delicious.
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
Came here twice. First time the wait for a drink was 30min so we left. 2nd time we came at opening so we only waiting 15min for a drink. Definitely not worth the drive and its overhyped in my opinion.

Yelp
****DON'T ORDER ONLINE****** Ordered my favorite Taro drinks online and prepaid. Store called me to tell me they're out of Taro so I had to cancel my order and was informed that the Manager will have to issue the refund. Big problem is no one knows when this Manager is coming in. That person only comes in mornings. Wow. So I don't have my fave drinks and GL getting my money back.

Yelp
The drinks here as mentioned in my previous review are great. Management was quick to respond to the issue, and I hope that on a future return that service has improved and that I may update my review yet again to a higher rating.

Yelp
Sunright's mango milk tea is still one of my favorite drinks to get. The tea was extremely fragrant and their toppings are always fresh. This location also has the kiosk for ordering, and one of the big advantages of having a kiosk is being able to browse through the photos and read through the descriptions of all their drinks! Overall, I would highly recommend Sunright to anyone who is a boba fanatic and loves trying new milk tea combinations.

Yelp
Thanks to my sister's boba addiction, I did indeed get to try the strawberry matcha latte. No sugar/ice level adjustments are available, but I did choose oat milk instead of the organic milk. Is it the best matcha latte I've tasted?? No, but it is top tier for sure. I'd say come for the fruit teas and stay for the consistency in quality and service :)

Yelp
Before I get to my thoughts, I'll qualify that I'm not a boba connoisseur. I usually get basic milk teas from Lollicup but I'm trying to expand my palate and level up with my boba consumption. I was intrigued by their menu and the great reviews. However, I was supremely disappointed with the drinks here. It wasn't your traditional, run of the mill drinks. Instead they tried to get fancy with pudding and crème brûlée. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me. First off, the boba tasted a bit too hard and rubbery. I like it softer and more chewy. Second, the drinks tasted artificial. It's too bad because the employees were working so hard and delivered quickly, but it just didn't hit the spot for me. Parking: Plaza parking lot. Ambiance: 3/5 Drinks: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Overall: 2/5 Would Return: No

Yelp
Date of visit: 3/27/2022 Sunright has redeemed itself! Today I mustered up a courage to order strawberry jasmine again. So so glad that I got my order right this time. It tasted so refreshing and full of strawberry flavor. Every sip that I took had plenty of strawberry bits and pieces. Turns out the girl who prepared my drink is the same girl who prepared mine on that unfortunate day. She said hi to me when she handed my drinks and personally apologized for messing up my drink last time. And she also checked with me if the drink was ok this time. So glad to have my favorite drink place back! PS I did NOT take up on the offer from the assistant manager last time as the respond from my complaint on my strawberry jasmine from my previous visit. I never received any refund from it either.
