"A small menu of unique, signature drinks using higher quality tea with fresh fruit juices/pulp are featured. For example, the Grass Hopper, which has cucumber juice with Sakura Mountain green tea. There are also cheese foam-topped teas and cheese foam-topped slushes. This space has hosted perhaps five tea houses in its past, with Mrs. Charming Drinks & Cakes as the latest one." - Jim Thurman

Google
I stopped by this Sunright location for a night time boba craving. For parking, they have a small parking lot. But there’s plenty of street parking right off of Wells St that I would recommend instead. I went around 7 pm and there wasn’t anyone inside. I was able to order from the kiosk right away and got my order within 3 minutes. I decided to go for the Crème Brulee boba milk tea. I got it with 50% sweetness, normal ice. It wasn’t too sweet, which is what I preferred.

Google
Great little spot since it's near my work. It's conveniently located across from Gabrieleno High School too, so once covid situation eases, I can imagine hs students coming here after school. This was my first time trying Sunright Tea Studio but I've heard great things about it from co-workers who have been to other locations. I really enjoy the fact you order from a kiosk but if there's any questions, the workers are there to help. It's currently their soft opening so their hours are limited from 12pm-5pm, I'm assuming everyday; I didn't ask. They don't have a patio like the previous spot (Unknown Tea House) had so I recommend just enjoying your drink by your car or trunk if you have a hatchback/SUV. Cons about the location is their parking lot. It's extremely small and you'll have to back out to exit, there's no other way to exit except the way you came in. I recommend just parking on the street instead. The drink I ended up getting was what was recommend, their Sunright Milk Tea. I typically can't handle too sweet of a drink but I wanted to know what their 100% sweetness tasted like. For someone like me who doesn't enjoy their boba milk tea tasting like a cup of syrup, 100% sweetness was delightful. It tasted like 50% sweetness to me so I'd definitely get it again. I'll have to come back again with my coworkers to the rest of their menu since it's so close to my work.

Google
This must be the smallest outlet they have. There is only one ordering kiosk and you can barely fit 3 customers inside. Most people simply order online and wait for their name to be called. Parking lot in the rear fits maybe 6 cars and there is some street parking. Tea tenders work so well in such a small kitchen and are quite nice.

Brittani Hirose

Google
Parking lot is very hard to get out of, next time I’ll park on the street lol, but the stars due to my boba being hard and not fresh.. I was v sad.

Google
Love that I could place the order online via their website. Would be cool if they developed an app. Overall a great experience. Their taro drinks are very special.

Google
I have been to two other locations, and this one is by far the worst. It's a tiny location by San Gabriel high school, and I really feel bad for the workers there. It's about 100° today and there's no air conditioners in there. The place is crowded and there's no air circulation whatsoever. And, unfortunately the drink also represents the working condition there. The drink, matcha with oolong tea,I don't want to say is terrible, but it's pretty bad. Zero taste of oolong tea with very weak matcha flavor. I know there's a sign in the front saying this is a soft opening so I hope things will get better for everyone. I probably won't come back to this location again but I still like their drinks in other locations.

Google
Tiny little location where you have to take turns going inside one party at a time. Was my first time ordering boba from a screen, and it was a cool experience. 😎 I liked the mango jasmine tea a lot! I got mine at 50% sweetness with lychee jelly and it was perfect! Love that this place uses fresh and organic ingredients. I could taste the fresh mango bits in my drink 🥭😋 Can’t wait to come back to try more!

Google
Good quality tea, doesn't go heavy on sweetness. Fruit is fresh & tasty. Self order kiosk is also very easy. I like the fortune kitty. Currently credit only or phone wallet apps.

Yelp
Honestly, at any Sunright locations I know the drinks are going to be good. Despite being the smallest location around the SGV , my drinks always come out great . I never had a bad drink at this location. I ordered their seasonal drink which is the watermelon cooler. It consists of watermelon and jasmine tea. The watermelon cooler is one of my favorite seasonal drink that is sweet and refreshing. Service is friendly and quick. Sunright only accepts card and no cash. You order by the kiosk and the drink will be out in minutes. There's only 3-4 parking spots in their parking lot behind the store but there are plenty of street parking so parking isn't an issue.

Yelp
On 2/23/25 @ 12pm I wanted to purchase a bulk order of a few half gallons online, but on the website it stated it wasn't available. I wasn't sure if there was a problem with the website on my end, so to be sure, I called Sunright for assistance. A young gentlemen picked up the phone and I asked why the bulk orders aren't available online and if there was something wrong with the website. He rudely told me he's receiving orders on his end just fine and the problem was on my end. I responded to his comment by saying I've tried a few times, even waiting a few minutes after the store has opened, to make sure the website was fully up and running. He then rudely said, "well it's not available!" and immediately hung up the phone. I called back asking why he hung up on me and that I wasn't finished speaking to him. He said he already told me the half gallons aren't available and had nothing else to say. Since I did not get a clear answer or an explanation why it wasn't available, I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager, which then he replied with, "You're speaking to him." I proceeded to ask for his name, but he stayed silent. I kept repeating hello, hello a couple times but there was no answer and then he hung up on me again. I went back to the website and I was finally able to place the bulk order for pick up even after he said it was unavailable. I went to pick up the order and spoke to another employee, who was there working with him, and explained to her the situation (I did not ask for her name). While talking to her, I noticed he did not acknowledge me or speak up on his rude behaviors. I've been to this location multiple times ordering 3-4 drinks at a time and even ordered bulk for an event of 100+ guests this past November. Since I had a wonderful experience in the past, I've raved about their services to my family, friends, and coworkers and encourage them to order here for special events/parties. Because of the awful experience, I will no longer be recommending this place, encourage people to pick a different place (there's plenty of boba shops in the SGV area) and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Yelp
This review is long overdue! I really like Sunright Tea because it's super convenient to order through their website--whenever I'm craving boba, I can get it pretty quickly. Plus, they're popping up everywhere now, so it's nice knowing I can find a solid drink almost anywhere. I really enjoy the brew of their tea. One of my go-to drinks is the Fruit Tea (no added sugar, less ice, no fruit slices, with jasmine jelly). I also love their mochi topping paired with oolong tea. I've had a good share of their drinks, and honestly, I haven't had a bad one yet. I guess you could say, with Sunright, they always hit the tea-spot!

Danya G.

Yelp
Sunright Tea Studio is one of my go-to spots for boba! It's a grab-and-go kind of place, super small with no seating. Parking can be a bit tricky since it's mostly street parking, but there's a small lot in the back on a residential street. There's just one kiosk for ordering, so I recommend ordering ahead on your phone to save time. Brown sugar boba breaks me out sometimes, so I like to opt for their honey boba, which is not too sweet. The location is right next to a high school, so it can get really busy after school lets out, but the drinks are consistently excellent. They always get my customizations right, and the flavors are on point. Overall, it's a fantastic place for a quick boba fix!

Andy T.

Yelp
This Sunright location is probably the smallest one compared to others that I visited. There is a small parking lot in the back, but I decided to park on the street since it looked pretty tight. I visited around 8 PM on a weekday. There is a single kiosk available right when you walk through the door. After ordering, I waited outside. When ready, they announced the order on the speaker, which you could hear outside. It was ready in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Oreo Brulee Boba Milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice. It tasted great, but I'll probably get it a bit sweeter and with more ice next time. It seems their way of making it less sweet is by adding less Oreo. As a result, it does taste a bit different than the other locations.

Kenneth V.

Yelp
A small shop on the corner of the street, my friends and I come to this Sunright as a default option for boba. Same as the franchises other drinks, this location also serves good boba and milk tea. The matcha oolong I had a good creaminess and wasn't too sweet, and I didn't have to wait very long for my drink. It does get busy at times, but the line never gets too long so come here if you want convenient and good boba.

Benedict P.

Yelp
I recently visited Sunright Tea Studio in San Gabriel last night and I had a wonderful experience. The ambiance of the place is modern and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. The menu offers a wide variety of tea options, including classic milk teas, fruit teas, and special blends. I decided to try their signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, and it was absolutely delicious. The boba was perfectly chewy, and the tea had a rich, creamy flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared quickly. The place itself is small and tucked into a corner, which adds to its cozy and intimate charm. Overall, Sunright Tea Studio is a fantastic place for tea lovers, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
Love sunright and being able to order online for pick up. They made drinks pretty fast and it's just so simple. This location has never disappointed with consistency on drinks. No matter what I get - if it's the same drink or a new one to try, it always taste like how I want it. Matcha oolong, mango yakult, sunright fruit tea, whatever drink - I've never had a bad one. No seating inside or out. Small Parking lot in the back but lots of street parking around.

Vanessa O.

Yelp
1 for ambiance, but solid 5 stars for milk tea and sweet chewy boba at the proper consistency. Love SoCal boba!!! Seriously the boba game down here is drool worthy--9/10 spots are good here, compared to 1/10 up in San Francisco, and at higher cost. Don't let the very cramped, literal hole-in-the-wall vibe on a busy San Gabriel Ave deter you from trying their drinks. I even bypassed taking my usual Yelp photos because I was super skeptical that this would be anything worth remembering. Ignore the sketch neighboring tiny apartment complex with smokers intently watching you from a distance under their carports as you both park then later return to your car. I know we're all accustomed to super cute trendy spots with space to sit and enjoy your drinks while snapping some fool-proof photos against a floral wall or neon signs. This is most certainly not that type of place. You come here for legit boba drinks, period. Human interaction? Nah! Ordering is solely available via either their single in-store kiosk, or online. So def order online ahead of time. Small 6-car private parking lot which seemed to be filled with non-customers, but street parking is readily avail. No upcharge for no ice. Both brown sugar boba, AND honey boba (usually, places do only 1 variety; note that their honey boba is clear). Rewards program via their website. Organic (standard), oat, almond, etc. milk options. Expansive menu with slushies, fruit tea, cheese foam, grass jelly, real taro, brûlée, etc. while still managing to have quality tea-forward milk tea. There are apparently a number of diff locations throughout CA, and based on the obvious quality and legitness of their jasmine milk tea w/honey boba, if I am ever near one of their locations, you can bet that I'll be placing an online order and grabbing my boba fix.

Cherlene L.

Yelp
This is my go to sunright! With it being small, there is usually less people when there isn't any school. You can order ahead of time on the Toast app or you can come in and order on the self-ordered kiosk. I love Sunright and its consistency with quality for their drinks. I've been helped by a sweet worker, Brenda. I'm not a big fan of the parking lot right behind the store, but there is plenty of side street parking right next to Gabrelino. Overall, it is a tiny store but great if you need a drink to grab and go.

Vivian C.

Yelp
++ D R I N K ++ Sunright Fruit Tea - This is so incredibly refreshing! ++ S E R V I C E ++ LONG LINE! Order ahead if possible! There is no person at the register, it is just a screen! You order and wait for them to call your name. This Sunright is very slow :( ++ A M B I A N C E ++ There is no seating available, although it looks like there is a gated empty patio. But there is no furniture!

Leilani D.

Yelp
Place is superrr small, feels squished even when there's only 5 people inside. Service was fast. Kiosk kinda sucks, glitches a lot. Would recommend mobile ordering if you don't like waiting in line in small places.

Rose R.

Yelp
Came on a weekday to take advantage of a collab event. This location is very small and felt very stuffy. Parking in the back was limited as well. Definitely feels like a to-go boba place. Place wasn't busy so I didnt have to wait long for my drink. The Lemon Yakult drink wasnt too sour which is good, and I felt the crystal boba complimented the drink quite well. Lastly, I was able to get my collab cup holder so I left satisfied.

Yvonne C.

Yelp
This is the second sunright that I've been to. Parking is available right next to the storefront. When you first walk in, you'll smell and feel the muggyness inside. They need some type of air or ventilation. There's no indoor seating available and didn't seem like there's outdoor seating either. It's a very small space inside and prob can fit like 5 people without getting claustrophobic. You order from the kiosk that is right by the front door. The drink tastes exactly the same as the other Sunright in Monterey park but I like cleanliness of MP location better.

Sean T.

Yelp
This location is always quick and delicious. I'll usually order online but they have convenient contactless order terminals. Note that the interior space is very limited and does not have any seating. Ideal for picking up drinks for Togo. Also this location states it does not have coffee items available. Parking could be an issue depending on how busy they are.

Kristine C.

Yelp
They use fresh quality ingredients and really tasty drinks. I always get the boba milk tea and fruit tea. Super friendly staff.

Jason L.

Yelp
I'm a regular here or used to be. The consistency of the drinks is all over the place. It depends on who's making it. There's only one person there that makes it good(as in a strong tea flavor in cheese foam drinks). I find myself driving to the Alhambra location to get it how it should made even though this location is right next to my house. But it's hard to blame them when they're making the drinks out of a 3x5 ft kitchen

Travis P.

Yelp
Located across the street from Gabrielino High School this is a pretty solid tea place. It's small and you have to order through the kiosk. I got the chocolate Oreo creme brûlée with 0% sugar and less ice and it was perfect. We got agar boba as well for free as I guess it was included. Prices are a tad high but the drink was good. I assume it could be crowded when the school gets out.

Andy N.

Yelp
There's no denying that boba flows through my veins and a place like Sunright only adds to the obsession. This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out. You have enough space to order either at the counter or on the kiosk, with the latter being preferred. On my recent visit, they ran out of boba on a Friday afternoon and I was gutted. I still went with another topping with my Oolong Milk Tea with Soy Milk, which was a solid substitute but not quite the same without my black pearls. Tea quality was fantastic and I enjoyed my drink. However, my friend ordered their Grapefruit Tea with Boba and omg... one of the best fruit teas that I've ever had from a boba shop. I immediately regretted relying on my milk tea to quench my thirst and should have gone the fruity route. I'm taking note for the next time I am in the area.

Kathy X.

Yelp
I ordered their classic Sunright Boba Milk Tea. The service is really quick, we only waited a couple minutes before our drinks came out. There's a constant flow of people stopping by. This location is really small, it probably only fits 10 people inside. It's definitely a takeout spot only. The boba was pretty good, but a little overly chewy for me. Overall it's a really solid boba place.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Small boba place street corner. Surprisingly so many take out order. I walked in to get my Boba taro frostie drink still waited for 19 mins. That's ok because I know people love and like this place No food just drinks. Taro slush is my favorite. I can take the taro itself. Ambiance is dainty. Very tiny place no way to seat . It's all take out

Sam W.

Yelp
Very disappointing their Jasmine milk tea tastes like banana milk with flowers. Agar boba tastes like rubber jello. Their oolong milk tea on the other hand tastes a lot better.

Daisy P.

Yelp
Very quaint, easy to order tea shop. Ordered 3 drinks but only one stood out....maybe I just didn't know what to order but I do recommend the foam cheese four season tea.

Kate S.

Yelp
This sunright location sucks. Their drinks are watered down. I tasted two drinks. Both were watered down. Monterey park or Pasadena location is much better. Never going to this location again.

Terri C.

Yelp
This location was dirty, they were having issues with the ordering screen and made us wait for over 5 mins to order. The staff wasn't friendly or helpful, I will not be visiting this boba place in the future.

Kimberly P.

Yelp
:: Drinks :: I really like how Sunright makes their Oolong Milk Teas, just the right amount of creaminess. Then my coworker introduced me to their Brulee Oat Lattes! So good, I appreciate when a drink's default milk option is oat! Their Matcha Oolong Milk Tea is great as well. Any fruit tea lovers will enjoy the Sunright Fruit Tea, which they are popular for. Sad to see they no longer have the Coffee Milk Tea on the menu. :: Service :: Every staff I've encountered has been pretty nice. Service is also pretty quick if there's no line. :: Parking :: I recommend street parking in front of the shop or around the corner. Their lot is pretty small. :: Overall :: Great spot that gets the drink right most of the time. Too bad there's no outdoor seating for the people who want to enjoy their drink right then and there. :: Tip :: Order on their online website for a faster in-store pickup process! You get a text when your drink is ready and you earn points at the same time.

Nancy N.

Yelp
My first time here. The place is really small and tiny inside. Fits probably like only 10 people inside. The wait and line was long but it was worth it because the drink came out good. I got the Oreo brûlée. It was delicious.

Angel M.

Yelp
This is just regarding their seasonal pumpkin spice oat brulee tea latte drink: ITS AWFUL!!! It has absolutely zero pumpkin spice taste, let alone a pumpkin taste. It's just a big expensive cup of sugary oat milk. Gross

Monika I.

Yelp
Sunright has been my favorite boba spot since they opened their Monterey Park location few years ago. I'm so glad they finally opened this location last year cause it was closer to work for me. I really love the ability to order everything online ahead to save time and it's ready for pick up when I get there, which is very important when you don't have much time during your work lunch break. My coworkers and I decided to order the Strawberry Jasmine Tea, Lemon Yakult, and Grapefruit Yakult. I have to sat that the Strawberry Jasmine Tea was my fave because I really love how the put small chunks of strawberries in the drink that brings out the fresh strawberry flavor. The Lemon Yakult on the other hand was a bit tart so if you like a sweeter drink, this might not be for you. The Grapefruit was refreshing and less tart compare to the Lemon one. The shop at this location is very small and perfect for grab and go.

Veronica C.

Yelp
This specific sunright is located next to Gabrielino highschool and is to-go only. It has a tiny back parking lot and can be difficult to park in during their prime hours. I would recommend finding street parking if that's the case. I ordered the strawberry green tea with 75% sweetness and oolong matcha milk tea at 100% sweetness. The strawberry green tea was perfect. However, I noticed that they forgot to add syrup/sugar in my sister's oolong matcha milk tea, when I asked if they could remake it, the barista told me that he couldn't since we drank it already. He then offered to give me the syrup in a separate cup so that we could add it in ourselves??? I was baffled because how would we do that (the lid is sealed on with plastic lol we would literally have to unseal it and have an big open top..) After exchanging some concerning eye contact with my sister and awkward silence with the barista...he finally agreed to remake us a new drink. Definitely not super happy with the service, but the new drink tasted fine.

Samantha W.

Yelp
It was okay but kinda disappointing. My jasmine oat milk tea was slightly bitter and just didn't taste that great. My husband wasn't the biggest fan of his tea either.

Michelle W.

Yelp
Nothing against the workers, all of them are super sweet and helpful. My issue is that the owners decided to hotbox their them and make it almost impossible to work in there. Knowing how popular the place is and how the summer is coming up, you would think that there would be better conditions in such a cramped space. I come here often, at least twice a week because of my workplace and the drinks are always made properly. I order either the Matcha Frostie w/ Honey Boba, the Oreo Brûlée Milk Tea w/ Brown Sugar Boba, or just a regular Milk Tea w/ Honey Boba. Service, convenience, and quality are always great! I'm just disappointed that their workers have to go through that.

Emily C.

Yelp
I have a yummy order for you to try if you happen to be lactose intolerant like me! I don't always order milk alternatives because to me, the drink IS worth the stomach-ache sometimes, but this order that I share here is delicious! Sunright Boba Milk Tea 100% Regular Ice NO Brown sugar boba (included) Honey Boba Californiafarms Oat Milk I didn't feel like having brown sugar boba in my drink, but normally it is great! This is an order recommendation if you are craving honey + BMT and you're lactose intolerant. Just -1 star because I am a boba snob and I just prefer the quality of BMT from boba guys or Bopomofo Cafe more. I feel this comes down to the quality of the tea, but Sunright is always deliciously consistent across all locations and hits the spot. Will be back again!!

Matthew Y.

Yelp
I'm so glad they have a location close by to where I live. I've actually never heard of this place until it opened up in SG. I've been here many times and tried a few drinks and I'm now set on my favorites. 1. Sunright Fruit Tea - One of my favorite fruit teas I've had in any store. Very refreshing and delicious. It comes with some fruits inside you can ear after your drink. 2. Matcha Red Bean Frostie - My favorite. It's always so flavorful and they do not skimp out on the matcha. There's that nice slightly bitter taste from the matcha and the red bean gives it that nice different texture and sweetness as well. It's always blended perfectly and a great summer drink.

Josephine W.

Yelp
Very nice, cozy place. We went at night , almost closing and the smell of cleaning agent was very strong that is the only setback.

Paul W.

Yelp
Took 45 minutes for 4 drinks. Drinks are melted. Workers busy talking about their paychecks and how their weekend is going while people wait for their drinks. Terrible time management and priorities.

Maries F.

Yelp
I love going to this boba place because they make the best Milktea with boba topped with delicious cheese foam. It's the perfect combination of creamy milk tea, chewy boba, and the savory sweetness of the cheese foam. It's my go-to order every time I visit!

Cathy K.

Yelp
Fast service. Good quick fix for boba. Known for Frosties and Fruit Teas. No seating area. Takeout only.

Maya K.

Yelp
I moved here about a month ago, and when I asked for good boba places around here everyone sad sunright. I ended up loving it! I've been to around 14 boba places around here so far, and this is one of my go too places to go!

Garfield K.

Yelp
I've been around, and think this is sunright is one of the best boba spot in LA. This is a super small spot, and no tables so expect to take it to go.

Jason L.

Yelp
It was my first time at Sunright and I am so glad I came! This location is a bit odd. It's a super small spot that probably only has room for 1-2 people inside. The parking lot is really inconvenient so I would suggest parking on the street. There's a self-ordering kiosk that isn't kind to tall people. I can see this place getting crowded during peak hours and people having to wait a while since there's only one kiosk able to take orders. But logistics aside, the boba here is terrific. I got the brown sugar boba milk with 50% sweetness and it was delicious. Even with 50% sugar, it was still very sweet so I question their recommendation of 100% sweetness. It seems like all drinks come with boba so you don't have to tack that on as an extra. The boba itself was chewy and had great consistency throughout. All in all, this is a great unassuming spot to grab boba. I'll definitely check out their other locations.

Anthony T.

Yelp
Really wish my self-indulgences were in check when I received my order... it never made it back on the car ride home hence the lacking photo. Regardless, this was a super pleasant experience contrasting my initial visit during their opening weeks. My Matcha Oolong Milk Tea was perfectly sweet thanks to their online recommendation and the Honey Boba was complementary to the mellow oolong-matcha milk base. The tapioca had great texture, taste, and sweetness while the base drink was homogeneous (no powdery taste/feel common with many and most matcha drinks) and delicious albeit lacking a distinct tea flavor. I ordered online since I was unsure of the wait and received a staggering 30 minute ETA. It finished in 2 minutes thankfully and I was really happy all my drink modifications were perfectly accommodated for. Even though the wait was short, I do wish the approximation was real-time. I understand that the exorbitant ETA is to create headroom for anxious customers during peak hours but it just makes it more difficult to coordinate a to-go pickup which is exactly what this location is designed around. Moreover, I wouldn't know if the ice was pre-mixed into the drink (therefore diluting it) assuming I got there 30 minutes later disregarding an early pick-up text. I know BoBaPOP mixes and seals the drink right before customer hand-off but just wondering if this location does it too. Anyway, these are just generally minor peeves that have become notable considerations in my experience. Although brief, my interaction with the *cashier* was nice minding the fact that she already had my order ready. Interior ambiance should be disregarded as this is primarily a grab-and-go location as aforementioned. Parking is limited and avoid peak hours during after-school from the adjacent high school.

Kelly G.

Yelp
Sunright Tea Studio has been expanding rapidly throughout Southern California. The San Gabriel location is very small and is a great grab and go place. I LOVE their online ordering system! Because you order either online or through their kiosk, all of their workers solely focus on making drinks. In addition, since most people preorder online and just come to pick up their drinks, there's always street parking available. My go to drink is their Sunright fruit drink. If I'm feeling something more milky, I usually order the oolong matcha milk tea with boba.

Daniel A.

Yelp
Loved this sun right location! All the drinks are delicious and ordering is all via kiosk. HEADS UP: parking and space inside is very limited and this location gets crowded right when the HS across the street gets out. Try to order ahead if possible so you can just quickly pickup your drinks!

John T.

Yelp
Visitation Rights: Been here a handful of times and I get the usual taro frostie ($6.25) with oreo ($0.65 extra for add on) Credit Card: Only way to purchase. Due to covid, they got rid of cash payments. Restroom: They're available. Location/Parking: Located across the street from Gabrielino's baseball/softball field. Parking can be found along San Gabriel Blvd or on E. Wells St.. Order Of Operation: 1) Go inside and order on the self service kiosk. 2) Wait inside or outside until your name is called and pick up your drink at the pick up window inside the shop. Note: You can also avoid step 1 and 2 by ordering online: https://www.toasttab.com/sunrightsangabriel/v3 . I'm assuming you just go inside and tell them your name and pick up your drink. Easy peasy riiiiiight! Ambiance/Decor: Not much ambiance. You'll feel a bit claustrophobic. I suggest waiting outside. :) Service: Not much service here. Very efficient and for the most part it keeps the workers safe. Then again looking through the window of their drink station... it looks a bit cramped also. Drink Of Choice: Get the taro frostie with oreo. So yum and so good. Make sure you shake it up a bit before consumption. Towards the bottom of the drink, break off the seal and either use the straw or a spoon to eat the remaining taro/oreo. Great tip right? :) Boba Tea Shop For Though: Coming back for the fresh taro frostie with oreo and try out the grapefruit jasmine green tea.

Yelp
My friend has been raving about this place for quite a while and so we finally decided to try it together! After dinner at Summer Rolls, we ordered online before heading there for pick up which saves a lot of time. I ordered the grapefruit green tea and I would have to say this place is on par with other boba shops - average at best. Cute cups though....

Yelp
I ordered the Oolong Milk Tea with honey boba with 75% sweet and it was the perfect balance of oolong tea and milk. Super creamy and perfect for a hot summer day! Their boba is a bit soft for me so slightly over-cooked in my opinion. I prefer my boba to have more of a bite, but I do love that they have the option for regular or honey boba. Perfectly sweetened and so delicious! Love that you can order through a kiosk especially during COVID times with a credit card. The kiosk also has helpful pictures of the different drinks. Price is average compared to other boba shops in the area, around $5-6 per drink.

Yelp
This Sunright Tea Studio is located right across to Gabrielino High School's field with a tiny parking lot (maybe a challenge to back out and recommend parking on the street) and street parking. I came by this little tiny teahouse on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:20 pm. I was greeted when I walked in when I heard 1-2 employees saying welcome. This teahouse is unique in which you just make your order on the kiosk that is available right next to the entrance. I ended up ordering: Sunright Fruit Tea, $4.95- I opted for this fruit tea drink to be made with no sugar and 25% sweetener (thank you to the fellow yelp member who mentioned their drinks are on the sweeter side). I liked it at this sweetness and thought it was good. This drink was quite refreshing. Grapefruit Jasmin Tea, $4.95- My husband opted to have this drink be made with no ice but at the normal amount of sweetener. He thought it was still a bit too sweet. I didn't have any so I can't comment on the taste but he thought it was good, just would have preferred it to be a little less sweet. ----------------- (Total $9.90) After we ordered on the kiosk (please note that you can only pay via credit card), we decided to wait outside for a bit since there were 3 other people inside (which was already considered crowded... it is really small in here). Eventually my husband went back inside hoping that our drink order would be ready, in which it was. I like the drinks and would order from here again but would recommend ordering online ahead of time (which the price is the same as the menu board. Sometimes prices are higher online for eateries because they may go through grubhub, postmates, etc).

Yelp
Have been wanting to try out this place. The SG location is a very tiny store, and it barely had AC. I went on a late afternoon during the weekend, and it wasn't too busy. Only 2 or 3 customers in the store and I saw 5 staff working in the kitchen. Even there were 5 people working on that day, I still waited, like, 20 mins or so to get the drinks. What I got? Taro milk tea (add boba) & Sunright boba milk tea Does it taste authentic? 50/50 but their taro purée was legit! It was not so sweet but nutty. I like the fact that they used fresh ingredients instead of taro powder to make the purée. It tasted creamy in your mouth, very delicious! As to the sweetness level, I got one 25% and the other 50%, but not so sure why, both were not the right amount for me. I wish they could've had another adjustment in between. Another issue I had was the tea, I mean, I liked the aroma but flavors were barely noticeable. I feel like maybe it's either low quality or old tea? Or, maybe they just didn't use enough tea leaves? Idk, it just tasted weak. All in all, I recommend their taro purée and would also recommend to order ahead online.
