The Best Boba Shops In LA & The SGV

"I first tried Yi Fang Fruit Tea in London and ever since then, I haven’t been able to shake it from my head. I always opt for their Yi Fang Fruit Tea because I have a strong belief that if the store name is in the drink’s name, it must be special, and that theory has certainly held true here. This particular drink is a refreshing green tea with chunks of real apple, orange, lemon, and passionfruit floating in it, resulting in a delicious, tropical concoction. This is the only spot on the list where I recommend not getting boba in the drink, and that’s because here it’s flavored with brown sugar, which can overwhelm the lighter fruit flavors. And since this place has locations in Koreatown, Sawtelle, and San Gabriel, you can easily get their tea no matter where you live around LA." - audrey fong

Mmm I’m conflicted… I’ve been a long time customer since day one of opening BUT lately I’ve noticed the boba consistency has changed here. Not sure if it’s not cooked and/or soaked long enough, but the boba here tends to be on the harder side…my personal opinion, don’t bite me. It lacks the “QQ” texture, if you know the lingo, you know, I can’t explain it. The tea flavor however are always consistent and delicious! I personally love the Oolong Milk Tea 🧋❤️ Honestly it’s probably one of those things where if it’s your time, you probably won’t notice it (I drink boba 2-3 per week, so I’m a little coocoo 🫠)

Sunright makes some of my very favorite Boba in Los Angeles. I stop in often and I’m always sad when I finish my drink because it’s that good. They don’t have as many options as Boba Time but the ingredients here seem higher quality. I love how they have brown sugar boba and honey boba. I seem to get a different drink every time and love all the customizable options. Service is always extremely fast and I never have to wait long for my drink or drinks. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but street parking is easy to find in this part of town, depending on the time. Pricing is fair and the menu is fairly large, even though some other brands like Boba Time do have larger menus. I usually get some form of milk or fruit tea depending on my mood. This most recent visit I got the crème brûlée milk tea with honey boba and caramel pudding and thought it was fantastic. It is sweet but in a great dessert kind of way. As mentioned they do have fruit tea as well so there is something for everyone, not every drink is sweet. I would definitely recommend to any boba fan and plan to be back many times in the future. I usually stop in every other week already so I don’t plan to change that routine anytime soon.

As a boba enthusiast that just relocated to LA- I’m on the hunt to find the best boba- my new place if you may. Sunright Tea Studio hit. Not too sweet and the honey boba was a major swoon. Lovely tea and for a good price!

Google
My first tea place in LA, and for sure it did not disappoint. I walked in here before going to get my lunch (a personal mistake as I had to walk to the spot where I got my lunch, so it melted a bit). I got the taro frostie, and it, first of all, looked amazing, in my hands, the top of the drink was cold and the bottom was warm from the boba. It was hard not to open it on my walk, but I somehow was able to resist (not easily), and when I got back and was able to sit down, I enjoyed the drink quite thoroughly. As for the atmosphere, it seemed a bit barren. Despite the promotional poster in the building, most of it was empty. I liked the self-ordering machines to the side of the building, but on the other hand, behind the posters was a very apparent huge section of just floor, sans anything else. All in all, Sunright Tea Studio was a nice stop and I can definitely see myself returning in the near future.

Had an excellent, pleasant experience when I went around 1:40 pm on a Saturday. Only two people were ordering in line before me. Self-ordering via two available kiosks. Very simple and easy to navigate. My drink shockingly came out one minute after ordering. I ordered "Sunright Boba Milk Tea" 22 oz, $5.25. - The milk tea tasted good- it didn't taste super expensive or high-quality, but it was fresh. I personally think the quality is similar to Teaspoon's down the street. - The boba was squishy, flavorful, and tasty! I liked it a lot. Parking is super easy because you can park in the big parking structure where Michael's, Home Goods, Starbucks, etc. is located. The current rank of my favorite boba milk teas along Sawtelle: 1. Teaspoon & Sunright 2. Volcano 3. Noble tea 4. Yifang Highly recommend giving it a try!

Google
Sunright Tea is super easy to order from, and I love how customizable the drinks are. But the overall experience could be better. There’s no restroom for customers, no tables or chairs to sit and enjoy your drink, and they even got rid of the Mochi Matcha Frostie with red bean, which was one of my favorites. The drinks are good, but I wish they offered a more comfortable space for customers to enjoy them.

Google
I ordered Sunright fruit tea for the 3rd time. The staff poured too much of the ingredients into the pitcher. When pouring into the glass, there will be a lot of water left in the pitcher. And the staff poured it away. Causing the ingredients to be less concentrated Like drinking plain water, only sweet, there is no taste of orange. Very disappointed, not as delicious as the first 2 times.

Google
Had an awesome experience here! Went in the afternoon and only one family was in front of me which was fine since there are two ordering kiosks! Kiosk was awesome and helped you visualize the drinks which was nice! Ended up getting the house milk tea and the brown sugar boba was SO delicious and soft. The boba did get a bit harder a litter faster than I was expecting (the longer i was drinking it) but so excited to go back :)

Yelp
I only really get two of the drinks on the menu here and they are so consistently good. The matcha milk tea--50% sweetness, oat milk--is the best matcha latte I've been able to find anywhere in the world. Super strong and really floral. Not even sure if it's pure matcha because of how floral it tastes but it's perfect. The other thing I get here is the grapefruit jasmine with 25% sweetness. Do yourself a favor and try both of these without any toppings, and use the thin straws!

Yelp
So my boyfriend has been on a "surprise me with boba binge" lately and so I have the opportune time to officially compare all the different types of boba on the westside and give a direct comparison: Sunright is best for their quality tea, drinks but doesn't really have those "crazy" specialty drinks if that's what you're craving. Here's a list of my favorites from best to least best: * brown sugar boba - $6.54 - one of my favorite staples and standard go to. The bitter tea notes are definitely there but you can't taste it as much and is more of a nice compliment to an overall delicious standard boba drink. * grass jelly boba - $7.15 - comes with boba. Basically your brown sugar boba but if you're feeling fancy and want the extra topping of grass jelly. Their grass jelly is expertly made and such good quality in flavor & in taste! Very impressed. I personally would probably still prefer the regular brown sugar boba so as to not over crowd the cup and each sip, but this was a very delicious drink and if I'm craving extra toppings with each sip I do (instead of tasting the milk tea + boba) I would get this. * white peach oolong milk tea - $6.05 - yuuuuum. Such a well done fruity light, but subtle bitter oolong notes coming through. One of my top favorites. * jasmine milk tea - $5.78 - done very well. Great jasmine flavor notes without it being over powering or too flowery in taste. A delicious jasmine milk tea... well done! * taro milk tea - $6.05 - the fresh taro paste amongst the black milk tea is so good! Beautiful consistency, quality fresh taro. Not too sweet and it allows the taro flavor notes to shine through as opposed to an artificial sweetened taro flavor note. * Oreo brulee boba milk tea - $7.65 - not bad but 7 miles tea's Oreo brulee boba milk tea is way better in balanced strong flavors without it being too sweet. This boba hits the Oreo flavor note but isn't as balanced in flavor & a little more icy watery than 7 miles. 7 miles boba is also cheaper at $6.75. * Sunright Boba milk tea - $6.54 - yum. Such a solid basic straight forward yummy black milk tea. My go to. Great tea notes with the perfect sugar balance at 75% sugar. * oolong milk tea - $5.78 - I normally really like oolong milk tea but I would say this one made by sunright misses the mark just slightly because the oolong flavor isn't as pronounced compared to other shops. I wouldn't get the oolong from here. It's noticeable but still a very mild oolong taste overall. * cream pudding milk tea - $6.54 - such a quality smooth, not to thick but gentle pudding in your mouth. Another great tea choice. * mango jasmine tea - $6.54 - wow I normally don't order fruity teas but this one was so yummy. Great tea flavor notes with a slight spritz of mango to lighten up and offer a bit of a tang that wasn't too sour at all. * panda milk tea - $6.54 - ugh the name got me. It sounded interesting but it's nothing more than marketing fluff. Milk tea base is a black milk tea which is delicious and a great milk tea staple with noticeable black tea flavors shining through. The boba is a panda mix of brown sugar boba (light brown) and honey boba (black). The texture of the brown sugar boba wasn't as soft and chewy as the honey boba and I honestly could do without that. The brown sugar boba was slightly harder and less satisfying than the honey boba. Wouldn't get again. * Hokkaido milk tea - $6.05 - a little more tea forward than the Four Seasons latte. This is your classic milk tea with a nice "milky" taste in your mouth. It doesn't have the strong notes of black tea or jasmine tea etc so I don't prefer this one as much but this is still a good standard milk tea. * Four Seasons Latte - $6.05 - Sunright is still really good but this particular tea wasn't as strong. It's a lighter tea and was definitely masked by the "milk" so it tastes more milk forward with a slight tinge of golden light tea. I personally wouldn't get this again. Service is generally fast. Ambiance is clean, bright and friendly.

Yelp
This Boba shop has one of the best black milk teas I've ever had. Their black milk tea is strong and creamy at the same time. They also offer crystal boba which I love! I also enjoy their matcha, grapefruit jasmine tea (unique), and their jasmine milk tea. Very popular boba spot among the UCLA students. Keep in mind that there's no tables to sit down. Ambiance is casual.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots for boba! They have two ordering devices, which makes the process quick and easy. Plus, they accept all forms of payment--super convenient. Parking is a breeze with a nearby structure offering free parking, and the location is great! There's plenty of shopping around, like Marshalls and HomeGoods, and tons of food options nearby too. Perfect place to grab a drink while you're out and about!
google avatar

Yelp
I come here pretty frequently and they never miss. The ordering process is so quick and seamless, you'll be waiting only minutes for your drink if they're not busy. The prices are decent, the selection is nice and my only wish was if there were more slush/ice based drinks. Other than that, they have a high quality of milk tea and ingredients compared to some of the other spots in the Sawtelle area. Definitely will be stopping by when my gf gets that Oreo Brulee craving again!

Yelp
Wow, one of the best tea I've tried so far. Small shop on Sawtelle next to Tigawok and Panda Express (if I recalled correctly) and is located within a big Japanese plaza so parking is covered. I usually doesn't like tea but this white peach tea is everything I was looking for. The tea aroma exploded in my mouth from a frist sip. I also added the cheese cold foam, which I thought is a lovely addition. The boba was not necessary but was good. Drink was quick and fast and I ordered on a kiosk. However, I took one star off because employees were not welcoming. They didn't greet me nor even acknowledge me when I was there, and it was only me in the store. I said thank you and one of the girls just left and continued to talk to her friends. All and all it was fine. Some of the drinks are limited or seasonal I think so grab yours before it's too late!!!

Marc E.

Yelp
When you walk in your hit with the funkiest rotten smell. No bueno. Then you have to use a kiosk to order. No cash. There's no chairs, they still have that empty Covid vibe. Not inviting at all. Drinks come pretty fast that was a plus. I looked at the wall and there was dirt and grime visibly built up (see picture). I almost puked. If the walls are that dirty imagine how dirty the machines are. Clean up your act guys.

Yelp
When I'm craving fruit teas or fruity boba, I love coming to Sunright! They do their fruit teas the best and my favorite is the Mango Milk Tea (5/5). This drink consists of their fresh mango in their jasmine green tea combined with their signature house milk. I like to add lychee jelly's in there since it gives it a refreshing bite and chewiness! This drink is so creamy and packed with mango. Their cup size of 22 oz is generous and you can really taste the fresh fruits and tea blend.

Yelp
Sunright Tea Studio is one of those reliable spots for me around LA. I can always pretty reliably pop into a spot and have some delicious & refreshing drink within 15 minutes. Sunright in Sawtelle holds up to all the rest! There are a few metered spots on Sawtelle but just use the free parking garage there for best results. Plus you can pop in for some eats at one of the other spots or...craft supplies at MIchael's? The parking lot serves a few places. Just like the other spots, place your order on one of the two tablets. It's a quick and efficient system. Yesterday it was pretty busy but drinks came out fast, as usual. I went super standard with a no sugar jasmine tea but loved it. Great service and great drinks!

Claire S.

Yelp
I came here based on a strong recommendation from a friend, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The service was quick, and I appreciated the convenience of the kiosks where you can place your order. It made the whole process really smooth, and the prices were fair, which is always a plus. The boba itself was also lovely--perfectly chewy and paired well with the drink. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Yelp
This is a great location in west LA/sawtelle. They have 2 kiosks where you can order. Like the MPK location I usually go to, I didn't see any seating where you can hang out or work at, it's more of a pick up and go location. Unfortunately they don't have any espresso drinks at this location which is so sad!!! However, they offer all other drinks which are so delicious as per usual. Staff is very friendly as well, and parking is easy to find in the parking garage attached to the shopping center. I strongly recommend the brown sugar boba, it's sooooo tasty.

Yelp
My go to is the mango jasmine tea with honey boba. There are two self ordering kiosks when you walk in making it super easy to order. My order came out quick. The attached parking garage makes it super easy to pop in. I always get 50% sugar and it's not too sweet! The boba is the perfect texture. I have also had the sunright fruit tea which has a delicious flavor but I am not the biggest fan of the fruit pieces in the drink. Overall big fan of Sunright and love coming here!
google avatar

Trinny T.

Yelp
There are plenty of parking at the garage. I love this plaza The self serve kiosk is perfect because it takes me a while to decide. They have mochi topping so that's an automatic five stars from me since Tiger Boba is always out of mochi and Ume tea is pricey. Also they are super fast at serving
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love sunright tea studio, it is hands down my favorite boba shop that I've tried so far. Today I got the strawberry matcha boba with lychee jelly, each time I come here I am trying new/different drinks. Each drink is literal perfection. Vibe of the restaurant is super chill; and they have 2 kiosks that'll take your orders. Quality of drinks, and efficiency of the workers is always consistent. Absolutely love it; will always find myself coming back to this boba spot
google avatar

Melinda C.

Yelp
Been coming here since 2019 and my favorites are (1) white peach oolong milk tea, (2) sunright fruit tea, (3) mango milk tea, and (4) taro milk tea. Favorite boba drinks in west LA! Self-serve kiosk to order and even when it gets really busy, drinks are made quickly. Another plus is free parking. No seats though so you'll have to take it to-go.
google avatar

Yelp
Best boba in town!! I discovered it this week and went four times this week after going to the beach oops!! I just love their regular boba milk tea at $5.99! It's just perfectly sweeten and the milk was good. Self order on screen, great reward program and fast to pickup!! Highly recommend and will be back. Got lucky to find metered parking in front almost every time.
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Love the milk tea boba here. You can taste the freshness of the milk, which really shines through if you get less sugar. You can also substitute for oat or almond milk for $1 extra. The boba here is chewier than most boba I've had, which means it can get a bit soggy if you don't drink it quickly. It still has a good chew to it though. We got the pudding milk boba and the oreo brûlée boba. Oreo brûlée at 100% sweetness is really sweet -- they recommend 100%, but if you're not a huge fan of super sweet drinks I'd get 50%. The oreo flavor is really good though! I got the pudding milk boba at 25% sweetness and it was the perfect level of just a hint of sweetness (any less and it would just taste like milk). The pudding is kind of like a soft tofu/grass jelly texture which is interesting. We ordered on the kiosk inside and drinks came out within 10-15 mins, so not too long of a wait at all! It looks crowded inside but it's not bad actually. No seating inside, but Sawtelle is a nice place to walk while you enjoy your boba. Would definitely come back to try other drinks on the menu!

Yelp
Sunright always gets it right! I've been to many locations, and Sawtelle is right on par with the rest of them. I love the aesthetic of the bright yellow theme of Sunright, which I think draws me toward this chain. Just as with every other store, orders are taken primarily via their self serve kiosks, which are pretty easy to use in my opinion. And I kid you not, literally within 2 minutes after paying, we got our drinks! It was in the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday, but that's still super speedy. I personally opt for their taro milk tea. I love how they swirl taro around instead of just mix a taro flavored powder. Also I also add their cheese foam and creme brûlée in my drink as well. The best part about Sunright is all the modifications you can make easily from the kiosk, whether that be milk type, sweetness, ice levels, you name it! Store was pretty spotless from what I saw too! I work up the street from this location, so I usually walk. But there is a decently sized parking garage behind/attached to the store (it is a part of a strip mall) with free parking. Don't be left (out) and get Sunright!
google avatar

Dawn K.

Yelp
the wintermelon lemon is good for those who like sour flavor! if i were to go back, i would not add boba but i would add some kind of jelly: either a sweet jelly to balance out the sour or the jasmine tea jelly to add more depth to the sour boba. the strawberry jasmine green tea is refreshing and the jasmine tea flavor really comes through! the grapefruit yakult is sweet and slightly tart! it was the perfect thing after visiting the beach. at the store, you order from kiosks and it makes the process a lot faster! all the employees at the store just focus on getting you the boba ASAP! service was so fast that we didnt wait more than 5 minutes for our drinks!
google avatar

James F.

Yelp
My friend introduced me to this place. Best decision I ever made to come here. The teas were delicious and she made me try that cheese foam and I thought that's weird to try but it was a game changer!! I don't go towards LA that often but I will definitely go here again. Everything is quick and easy to do the kiosk.

Cree A.

Yelp
The grapefruit jasmine green tea with lychee jelly, 75% sweetness, less ice and sub honey for sugar is so good I would smack someone's granny for it (not mine tho). Order from a kiosk. Shake 17 times. Enjoy. Repeat. The price is right and the tea is amazing.
google avatar

Bevan C.

Yelp
Sunright is one of the most consistent boba shops I've been too, regardless of location. I'm usually a simple milk tea person, so my favorite drink here is: Sunright Boba Milk Tea with 75% Sugar! Sometimes I get 50 if I feel like something more bitter. The taste of the tea is nice, and the brown sugar flavor is comforting without being overpowering. I love the texture of the boba here, a little softer with a brown sugar flavor. This place has lots of drinks to choose from, including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and kids drinks. They have milk alternatives (almond, oat, and fresh milk), and you can also get honey as a healthier sweetener! A couple of my other favorites are the Oolong Milk Tea, Matcha Milk Tea, and Oreo Brulee Boba Milk. You can order online or the touch kiosk in store, and they're always on time! Can never go wrong here :) 10/10
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
This is hands down some of the best boba I've ever had, and I love how they have unique flavors. The mango green tea and oolong peach tea have my heart!!! The tea they use is so good that I always order 25% sugar and the drinks are still super flavorful.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
The options are limited. Boba consistency is good. I did like my Thai tea boba, but it was nothing special.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
Quick stop to grab some drinks on our way back to Oxnard. Clean, inviting, colorful. Placed our order on the machine and got our order within 5-7 mins. Will be back if ever in area for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
This Sunright Tea Studio on Sawtelle is placed strategically on the block next to Enya Sushi and the infamous Tsujito Noodles down the block. Parking could be found in the structure next to it (it's totally okay if you're in and out). Or parking could be found in the street next to meters. If you've been to a sunright before, it's pretty much all the same. Credit/Debit only with self-checkout. The building itself is a small complex with the majority of the workers making drinks. The drink was alright. I tried the oreo brulee and the sunright tea but they taste exactly as they are priced. Nothing spectacular but well mixed. It is kind of expensive at 6-7 dollars a drink but you already knew that walking in. The redeeming thing is that this is next to the 405 on the way to the Getty so you can easily hop on and off for a blessed respite! Personally, it took me 15 minutes from parking on the street next to a free meter to being back on the freeway again with my drink as they are super efficient in making drinks.
google avatar

Bayan M.

Yelp
5/5 stars this is one of my favorite boba places in LA. They have so many drink options and their menu is extensive with lot of photos so you can see what you're ordering. It was packed in here around lunchtime-you order at the kiosks and even tho it was busy, we only waited around 5min for drinks. They even have a cute backdrop for taking photos of your drink! I ordered the Oreo creme brûlée bubble tea and it's phenomenal- def more of a dessert drink than the other options but sooo worth it!! Boba is chewy and the perfect texture and flavor. The brûlée Oreo part is like a warm pudding and needs to mixed in well before you drink! There's free garage parking at this location as it's in a shopping plaza.
google avatar

Kim l.

Yelp
Been here three times now and each time their grapefruit tea was on point. Zero percent with lychee bits has a good amount of sweetness to it. My friend wanted a coffee/expresso but their machine was broken. Fix it soon please. There is a little of a wait after we put in our orders. No inside seating. Grab and go.
google avatar

Jon E.

Yelp
Love the drinks first off. -1 for Not being able to order at the cashier is a real bummer, especially when one kiosk is out of order and the other has a line. ordering online as an alternative isn't a great option for everyone. -1 for what smelled like I think smell of rotten sores and bleach coming from the back Enjoyed the drinks I've had here in the past though
google avatar

Claudia B.

Yelp
Wanted to get a little sweet treat before leaving Japantown and this spot was perfect! Orders were entered through their kiosk. There was hardly any wait! The location was very clean and bright, with their logo in neon on the walls. When we took a sip from our drinks, we knew we had made the right choice. Go by this little hidden gem!
google avatar

Teresa A.

Yelp
I went to this Sunright Tea Studio location yesterday. I ordered a Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea drink with 100% Sweetness, Fresh Milk, and Less Ice. I enjoyed my drink. The sugar flavor was subtle. I liked the texture and taste of the boba. The drink had just enough chill with a bit of ice. Ordering was easy. Service was quick.
google avatar

Bingsu_cafe.11 K.

Yelp
To be honest, I don't exactly remember the names of the drinks but it was something like this: Jasmine Grapefruit Tea ~ 9/10 I ordered w 100% sugar. I ate dinner before so I was hoping for something lighter ~ and this drink was perfect. The drink was super refreshing and fruity. Kids Strawberry Milk Boba ~ 8/10 My sister got this one! You can't even tell it's oat milk it tastes like actual milk, and is super fresh and yummy :) It was a little bit seedy, so if you don't like seeds maybe don't get it.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
I tried the Thai Tea with cream pudding. Drink was good, not too sweet and good flavors. The pudding was something different than what most boba/tea shops offer, it was thick like flan but still creamy and offered a good textural change to the drink. Service was okay, but the menu board shows this drink cheaper than what you order. When you order at the kiosk, you have to add the pudding separate as there's no "pudding thai tea" option as the menu board shows, so they charge about $0.50 more.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Great flavors and drinks to choose from. You can personalize the sweetness of your demons and ask for less ice. The bobs is always chewy and sweet. The drinks are always consistently on point and I'll keep coming back!!!

Yelp
Sunright never disappoints! For years, Sunright in Sawtelle has been a consistently delicious grab-n-go. The service is quick, the drinks are tasty, and the location is walkable. After dining anywhere off Sawtelle Blvd, this spot is the perfect last stop.

Yelp
First time great, second time disgusting. Got the Oreo brûlée drink and added extra Oreo. First thing I noticed is that there's barely any Oreo in it (it's all milky with no black bits) then I take a sip and it tastes like 80% water. The crazy thing is that this order was delivered very quickly so it wouldn't have had time to melt, making me think they had an extra that no one claimed and they gave me this old one. Meanwhile, the other drink, the matcha strawberry one, was not melted at all. However, it's almost as if they forgot to sweeten it entirely (I set it to 100%). And I'm really not being dramatic, it had that dirty flavor of unsweetened matcha and was almost thick in a bad way. Never coming back here.

Yelp
Located in a center with free parking, this place consistently serves up delicious drinks. I like their seasonal menu, but the Yakult-based ones are always a hit. Ordering is very easy. Service is usually pretty quick!

Yelp
Best boba ever. The boba itself tastes very fresh and chewy. I've tried a bunch of different milk teas from here, and all of them are immaculate. Go and buy from Sunright if you're looking for some good boba tea.

Yelp
I like sunright tea studio so had to stop by here. it was easy to order with the digital screens, and it only took like 5 minutes to get my drink. I got the mango milk tea with cheese foam and honey boba, with 75% sugar. could've gone to 50% because it was still pretty sweet! it was super good though. the boba was definitely fresh, it was warm and soft to chew!!

Yelp
I love this place in NorCal so finally writing a review as I took my partner here to try here in west la. Service was quick and interior was standard compared to the NorCal locations I've been to. I always get the grapefruit yakult with honey boba with100% sweetness and light ice. But this time wanted to try the brown sugar boba and that actually was a tad too sweet for me. 1 star off as my partner didn't enjoy his coffee milk tea with the recommended sugar level, regular ice and honey boba. I advised him to try his drink with brown sugar boba next time but he said he would rather go to teaspoon lol. But still love this place! I would continue coming back!

Yelp
One of my favorite tea spots in LA! I always have the craving at night and it seems a bunch of other people do as well. It's gets pretty crowded right before it closes, but the service is nice and efficient. The aged black tea was my favorite but they have since rotated it out :( Please bring it back!

Yelp
I've been to multiple Sunright locations and the quality has been great no matter which location I've been to. My favorite drink is the Brown Sugar Boba Milk drink ($5.50 and includes boba). This is a more milk based drink and the brown sugar adds a good amount of sweetness to the drink while also being very refreshing. Their actual boba is one of the best boba at any boba place I've been to, so if you're a fan of the actual boba then definitely come here. The boba is sweet and perfectly chewy! You can also adjust the sweetness of their drinks and ice level. I usually don't adjust sweetness since I like things sweeter and I ask for "less ice" since it never hurts to get more drink vs ice. Note: This location is just south of the main Sawtelle street and you can park in the big parking structure just south of where Sunright is located. Parking is free here and then you can walk to Sunright.

Yelp
This is definitely a Boba shop driven by happiness. We got the Oreo Brulé milk tea and it was really good. My only complaint was that I would've ordered closer to 50% sugar because it's Oreo, brown sugar, Brulé, and I'm not normally a sweet drinker. However they all have really great drinks overall Come here for a fun hang out or a afternoon pick me up Price: $ Overall: 9.2/10 Must get: matcha, classic milk tea, Oreo brûlée

Yelp
Ambiance: crowded tea store located in sawtelle, takeout only as they have neither indoor table nor outdoor seating, unfortunately, one of the two order kiosks was broken, the waiting line was extremely long Service: terrible service and so impatient, I had to ask for straw and then to-go bag again, let alone they made mistake on my order Drink: standard sunright menu as in other locations OREO BRÛLÉE BOBA MILK - ** Creme brûlée foam and crushed Oreos combined with sweetened fresh milk and served with boba, they placed the wrong order for me, I ordered CREME BRÛLÉE BOBA MILK but they made the Oreo one instead, check the photo while creme brûlée was on the label but oreo brûlée is the actual delivery Price: overly priced for the quality, about $7 per drink, overall bad experience, I wouldn't recommend this place

Yelp
I used to love sunright! I used to get the grape frostie almost every day! They even had a buy one get one free grape frostie for a month before they discontinued it since it was a seasonal drink! I stopped going because their other drinks are not that great in my opinion. If I did want something similar to that, I will occasionally get the strawberry frostie. Their blueberry frostie and their grapefruit frosties were not it. All their new frosties r not it either... BRING BACK THE GRAPE

Yelp
This is the best boba place around but the price increases have gotten insane. 8 dollars for a boba are you for real. I know inflation is high but cmon now.

Yelp
Convenient, open late(ish), and consistently good! If it's busy order through QR code on the door to avoid waiting in the line. -CC only, order through iPad (or personal device) -offers non dairy milk alternatives -easy parking in attached garage (free/no ticket upon entry)
