The food and drinks was very delectable. The location is great. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and when I asked what was a good choice she able to point out items and tell us about it. I like that she checked in on us but still gave us our privacy. I was very impressed. We will be back. Thank you.

Like always an incredible experience our food was great. We had the crabcakes and your strip. Both were perfect. We also had the brownie turtle sundae. It was an experience one of the best things I’ve ever had at the beach. Our server was top-notch too.

First night we ate there was fantastic New York strip 14 ounce was great. We ate there again two days after and my wife split a giant ribeye and was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and it was very busy. I highly recommend going here. If you don’t it’s on you. Go what are you waiting for quit reading this review and go.

The wait time was an hour and a half and they ended up seating us on high chairs not a table, other than that the food was great but pricey and portions are average. I had the NY strip and it was really good I would recommend and I might actually come back. Our server was also really polite.

The place is nice, but the environment is too chaotic. me and my family were trying to enjoy our dinner but a table with like 20 people were next to us screaming. I just wanted a peaceful out door view. Total headache. My husband ordered the lamb lollipops and asked for them to be well done, when they brought it to us it was medium rare and he sent it back for it to cook more. When it came back it STILL wasn’t well done it was medium. My husband ended up sending it back and didn’t eat anything. Vegetables need to be seasoned more. If you come here i recommend the atlantic salmon.

I give this restaurant two thumbs up. The environment is warm and welcoming. My waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful. Once my order was placed, there was minimal wait time for the food to arrive at the table. The lollipop lamb chops (cooked medium) and asparagus were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The side salad included several ingredients and was served with raspberry vinaigrette. The lemon drop martini was ok. The brownie & ice cream sundae dessert was absolutely amazing! Three brownies, topped with three scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. More than enough for two or three people to share. I highly recommend this restaurant. The sunset views are also spectacular.

I was there for lunch. As always the food was delicious, the service excellent. The atmosphere was just the way I like it. Watching the boats go by in the beautiful calm waters with palm trees to shade full sun.

The food was pretty good. Mashed potatoes were great, the crab cakes were a little bland. Servings are pretty small, especially for the price. It’s very loud and busy in there. Sat not too far from the bar and the guests were loud and kind of rowdy. Waitress seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else and kind of barely interacted with us.

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire United States. I'm a career bodyguard who has been in the security sector for 13 years. I've been to close to all 50 US states and this restaurant tops the list! Kurt the Manager is one of the best humans you could ever encounter in your lifetime! . We arrived at 8:45pm. We ordered 2 appetizers - MD crab soup and a crab dip. Soup was warm at best right upon arrival and lacked some kick or old bay. Asked for some and it was quickly provided. Crab dip was nothing but some lump dressed on top the rest was a huge heap of mayonnaise and cream cheese - nothing else. Arrived also lukewarm. It is disappointing that so many restaurants cannot get the crab dip right . At $20 bucs - you've got to get this right The table had no napkins and I had to get up after 15 minutes to look for the waitress to ask for them. No apologies or acknowledgement that they were not there. When the main dishes were served there was no table wear at the table. She brought them to us after the main dishes were served. She quickly apologized that she had taken them away. Crab cakes were hot and tasty - recipe was good. My wife had the butter corn shrimp - pretty good. Waitress did not check in very often but that's okay but had it been the whole family I'd Be concerned. Ordered dessert- waitress totally forgot to put in the cheesecake order. She came back to the table telling us and then asking if we still wanted it. I was expecting more from Sunset Grill.

Crispy was a great waiter! Make reservations! We were seated inside on the bottom floor, but could see the water Pretty views of the water & boats and all of the fabulous looking homes along the water Menu is not extensive but just right. Various cocktail and drinks! I wasn't too hungry so I ordered: Lollipop Lamb Chops: delish and the sauce had just the right tang to it) and Blackened Garlic Shrimp: The bread with this was simply delish. Came with about 4 or 5 Large shrimps Drinks: Spicy Mango - Yum!!! Painkiller- refreshing Make sure to go upstairs to the bar! Huge space for outdoor dining, views of downtown Ocean City Very friendly employees!

I have been going here for decades, but finally got to take my husband. He had a filet, which was phenomenal & perfectly cooked, & I had the tuna steak, which is probably my fave. The crushes are fabulous, & the dessert was the perfect ending. We left stuffed! We sat on the bridge, & while it was extremely windy, the temperature & view were perfect. Our server (I think her name may have been McKenzie) was so personable & attentive; we really enjoy her. The evening was great!

First. Yelp is showing "closed" when it's obviously open. Update your hours. Second, this restaurant is trying to be a bougy and cosmopolitan restaurant when it's just an overpriced tourist trap with mediocre options. Third. Please please please. Figure out what kind of cuisine you are offering. If you want to be seafood and eastern shore flavors, great! Do that! But offering "seared tuna with ginger soy sauce" appetizers or "focaccia with mango dragon fruit flavored butter" .... Come on. This is not a fusion-style restaurant. The shore is not ready for that. Finally, the servers are super nice and friendly and capable for what they have to work with. Thank you.

Great sunset and views on the water - at Sunset Marina. Delicious, large salads. You can't go wrong with their salads - I usually get them. However, I've opted for tuna mingon, which is good and they have a pretty good crab cake. Service is always great.

Been here a few times, first time for a fancy sitdown meal the meal was incredible. The chicken dish was just amazing and the spinach thing thing with the salmon was incredibly good. The service was really slow, though she would sit down and talk to people instead of doing her job, but we still tipped well, I will definitely be back

Gorgeous view if the marina, lovely decor, terrific service and fine food. Great and romantic eatery in West Ocean City, not far from Gateway. Their cole slaw and fried sift crab were just delicious! It's just a bit pricey.

This place is huge. With indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view of the marina. Our waitress Sara was wonderful! The crab soup was good, but unfortunately there was hardly any crab in it. The garlic butter poached shrimp was fabulous. My husband's steak was cooked as requested. My salad was plentiful with lots of fresh crab and way too much bacon.

My family and I went to Sunset grill and we had Loren as our waitress. She was incredibly attentive to all of our needs plus thought ahead for our small kiddos. The food was also delicious! My husband and I decided the salmon and the steak were some of the best food dishes we have ever had. If you love good food and good service with a great view- sunset grille really is the spot.

We did not have a reservation; our bad. 45 mins wait for outdoor and indoor which is to be expected. We were encouraged to do "seat yourself by the dock". We waited a long time and we're about to give up when we spotted someone who looked like they worked there. She apologized and said she didn't see us which is likely we were the last table. Our server arrived promptly and we ordered and food arrived quickly. There was confusion about the sauce for the crabcake sandwich I ordered; she kept saying "it's on the side" and I kept asking for "regular tartar sauce". Well, they don't have regular tartar sauce and the sauce although served on the side is too spicy for this gal. The sandwich was just ok and didn't warrant the price in my option. I was glad I didn't order the crabcake entree at $48. My husband ordered a burger which was fine. The view of the boats and dock was great. The live music was very loud you could hear it across The street; I wonder how the other restaurants feel about that?

We were recommended to this restaurant by multiple people. The views were amazing but when sitting outside we had to ask for a fly repellent versus it provided automatically. The crab dip was very good but I had the shrimp and crab meal over risotto. I love risotto and was very surprised how undercooked the rice was, to the point it was crunchy and unenjoyable. When I shared this with our server it was met with no compromise or resolution. Sad bc I think knowing that a dish that should be 5 stars is only 3 should have been impactful. Great drinks! Would recommend for drinks in the water and an app but dinner anywhere else.

Food was delish. The shrimp with foccacia is Devine. Thanks Kirt for the recommendation. The chicken with crab imperial sooo good. H8bby liked his crab cakes. I think this is my favorite OC restaurant so far. Will definitely return.

Visited on a Friday afternoon, off season, for a retirement luncheon. Plenty of parking, very clean and up do date decor inside and out. All staff seemed very welcoming. There were about Twenty of us, one waitress and one waiter-both were very good and did their jobs very well. Food was served quickly, and no one had a bad meal. Crab cake sandwich was delicious, soft shells were huge, and fish and chips looked very appealing. I would definitely return.

The food at Sunset Grill grill was well seasoned, tasty and the seafood was fresh. I ordered the Chesapeake Chicken with a baked potato, seasonal greens, and peeled shrimp. My friend ordered the crab cakes with mashed potatoes and salad. Both meals were delicious! The crab was very juicy, the chicken was tender and I loved the addition of the ham on top of the chicken. In terms of service our waiter Jared is a rockstar! He was kind, sweet and very helpful. The manager was amazing as well you can tell they truly care about customer satisfaction which I appreciate. The restaurant closes a bit early but you can go to Teasers next door for live music and cocktails! Teasers closes at 2 am. My only complaint is the way the staff delivers food orders. There is a standing table behind the bar that servers place food on before they transit the orders to patrons and it's a very high traffic area. Tons of people (customers and staff) walk by and lean over the food from multiple entry points which is not ideal. To know that food is waiting in a high traffic area with multiple people leaning over meals is unsettling. Luckily our food came directly from the kitchen. Overall it was a pleasant experience!

My family and I went to dine at the restaurant June, 2024 to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious! Dessert and drinks too! I would highly recommend if you're in OC!

Two visits, two totally different experiences and nothing but raves. Dinner with my husband and we were crouched in this tiny little table near the bar. Our server was great and the food was fantastic. Lunch with a friend at the outside bar, drinks, appetizers, and view were delightful. Is it a little touristy? Sure, but that's not a bad thing, every component works, and it is fun to feel like a tourist sometimes, I splurge more :-)

We went for a date night and Loren was our server. She was absolutely amazing and made our night. My husband enjoyed a whipped orange crush (her recommendation), and we shared the lollipop lamb chop, vine ripened tomato, and the chicken Chesapeake. Everything tasted fantastic. We'll definitely be back next time we're in OC!

Hands down best restaurant we went to all vacation maybe even one of our top 5 in the USA. We came here with a party of 6 and started with a few appetizers. Crab dip, bbq shrimp and these little rolls with butter. Every single appetizer came out super fresh and hot and was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were a little small so we had to order more appetizers but we did not complain because our second round of appetizers were even better. Crab dip is literal perfection and is the best! For our entrees our group had ordered different things on the menu but everyone truly enjoyed everything thoroughly! Our server was extremely helpful and very friendly. He was on top of everything and always asking if we needed stuff. The place was jammed packed but everyone seemed to have things under control. We truly enjoyed the entire experience and the waterfront views are absolutely stunning. The place is very beautiful and clean. I would recommend making reservations in advanced but we had called same day and were able to get dinner reservations so give it a try!

OMG.. YES. PLEASE. This place is AMAZING! OFF-SEASON is the BEST, as there are phenomenal lunch and happy hour specials in their cozy yet spacious upstairs bar area (it overlooks the entrance-way to OCMD.. GORGEOUS). The food is fresh and they never skip a beat with their seafood. If you are looking for a good place to get seafood, THIS. IS. IT. West OC has some amazing spots, but, I must say... this is my personal favorite. Service is also quick and friendly. I have NEVER had a bad experience here and hope that you'll all give it a try! :)

What a great time! Got some goodies from the gift shop and enjoyed a snack on a busy afternoon. Service was good, food was good. A bit too loud for my liking but overall a nice experience!

Beautiful place, nice view, amazing food, wonderful service Never disappoints Definitely worth going if you get a chance. Kid friendly, brought the kids out 1st. Also cheddar rolls and mahi fingers and cheese burger are so good.

The only thing better than the food or the drinks was the service... Amazing! Must haves are the Crab Dip, the Aged Cabot White Cheddar Rolls, the Cream of Crab Soup, the Lamb Chop Lollipops, Baked Brie, the Hawaiian BBQ Shrimp and Crab Cakes. Don't forget to take care of your sweet tooth with the Turtle Brownie Sundae made with Ghirardelli brownies or the house-made Florida Key Lime Pie with fresh whipped cream and raspberry coulis. Your taste buds will thank you while you experience the meal of a lifetime!

Came here for dinner with my daughters on a whim tonight. Was seated within 10 minutes (without reservations) on a busy Saturday evening. All the tables on the 1st floor was packed. I now see why. This place did not disappoint when it comes to food & drinks. I was almost pleased with everything we've had. Start with my least favorite thing on the menu first: Blackened chicken as an add on to the Caesar salad. The salad dressing was pretty mediocre. Chopped Romaine lettuce with not so fresh Parmesan cheese. Blackened chicken was really dry. On the other hand, everything else was amazing. Painkiller & watermelon mojito was awesome. Crab dip was full of crab meat. Also nice and creamy when dipping the bread into it OR while using it as a spread. Lamb lollipops had an Asian flare to it. Medium rare cooked to perfection. Halibut imperial had a nice & light cream sauce that's loaded with lots of jumbo lump crab meat. Medium rare New York strip steak was juicy. Creamy mash potatoes & crunchy asparagus was absolutely splendid as well. Looking forward to coming back here during the day time.

Sunset Grille is a fantastic restaurant to take your family, friends or have a date night. This restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating and dining with great water views. The service is excellent with very friendly hosting and waiting staff. The food and drinks were excellent. My only complaint was ordering my steak medium temperature and it came as medium-well to well-done on various parts of the steak (it was still very delicious!). The tables are always kept clean, as are the restrooms which is always a big plus. I highly recommend you make reservations to guarantee yourself a table and have a wonderful experience. Enjoy!

Definitely an expensive dinner for the family, but worth every penny. Very pleasant wait staff and just about one of the best restaurants you'll find in the OC. If you're looking for a romantic night out or just a special dinner with the family at the end of the vacation, this is one of the best.

Very popular place, especially during White Marlin Tournament. Good drinks; a selection of Crushes to meet anyone's desires. Food is good, with choices ranging from burgers to specialty entrees. Appetizers were decent, but don't expect to get full on them. Interesting ambiance, especially during this time of year. Service was excellent and our waitress was perfect. We sat right on the edge of the main walkway so it was busy, and there was a band setting up right above us on the stage. I've heard the music is too loud to hear anything is, but we left before it started. Drink prices were what you might expect for the area and time of year.

We found this spot as we vacationed in the area. The food was great. I had the NY strip along with someone else in my party and aside from the cut being more alike a ribeye (downside), the flavors were very good. Someone else had the chicken Chesapeake and they were amazed at the flavors. Service was great and the view even better. I very well recommend this place if you are around the area. I know I'll be there again next time.

Insanely delicious shrimp salad wrap. Shrimp were perfectly cooked and it was loaded! I don't want to neglect the fries, they tasted beer bartered.

This is one of my favorite places to go in OCMD! We live here and the view of the inlet is good and we enjoy looking at the boats as well. The food is delicious and always has current specials. Its a little pricey but as my Mom always said, you get what you pay for!

Came to OC for a bachelorette and thought this place was a wonderful addition. It's right on the water, with a beautiful view of the sunset. The overall staff were pleasant and helpful. I ordered the wings, which were delicious, and for my main course, Wagyu Bolognese with Calabrian chilies and fennel- it was EXCELLENT. I definitely could've finished the entire serving, but I wanted to save it to enjoy again. The reason for my 4 stars is that I was the only one out of my group who really enjoyed their meal. The majority had the crab cakes and did not like them much. I definitely will keep an open mind about this place and possibly come back if I'm ever in the area.

First time here for this "local." It was quite good. We arrived on a Saturday morning just as it opened and we were seated outdoors at a table facing the boat slips. Very beautiful. I ordered El's Jumbo California Shrimp Salad Wrap, which came with French fries, and my wife had the Sunset Burger with the Ginger Scallion Noodles. We ordered mocktails (grapefruit and Sprite). Our server Jessica was attentive and informative and made the meal all the more enjoyable. Taste wise there were some notes but overall my wife really loved the burger and I thought the wrap was good (and tidy which is important to me) but was a little mild in flavor. The French fries were crispy-good. The stand out for me was the noodles I pilfered because my wife found them too spicy. The restaurant sits right on the water, with plenty of seating outside on two levels and inside dark, warm wood and dim lighting make for a luxurious feel. My understanding is that it can get quite busy. When we departed an hour later the outdoor bar was in full swing and the parking lot full. Overall, very good with a few notes of personal taste and an awareness that the menu entrees can run on the expensive side. While service was efficient our food order took a little longer than we expected but that might have been our seating right at the opening bell. Will go back.

Beautiful Marina side restaurant in Ocean City, MD. This place is enormous and has multiple bars (at least 4). Not a bad seat in the house. The food was delicious. The service was excellent! Highly recommend.

Definitely a most go if you're in the area. I'm not a seafood eater and this is more geared towards seafood eaters, but they have non seafood options. Food: fresh and quick - great food all around. Our entire party joined the clean plate club, including my 3 yr old. Service: spot on and exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant like the Sunset Grille. We were sat right away and received our drinks within a few minutes. Parking: the only really downfall for this place - they just need more. Just be prepared to walk if you get there around dinner time. This is a family staple and we love coming to the restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

We were there last night for dinner with some friends. I ordered crab cakes, which are small, dried and overpriced. My wife ordered Filet mignon, which is not tendered and tough. Very disappointed. The service is also slow and the foods came out cold. Will not be back. :(

West Ocean City is always a locale to checkout for dining. This visit, we decided to try Sunset Grille. Parking is convenient and it has a great atmosphere! From the daily specials, I ordered the Crispy Halibut Tacos while my wife ordered the Shrimp Salad Wrap. The two tacos were mild and very good and I liked the cilantro slaw used as a toping. The did not come with a side, so I added French fries. My wife found the shrimp salad wrap also to be good, with large whole shrimp in it. Our server could not have been more pleasant. But I do have to note that it took almost an hour for our food to come out, from 1:30 p.m. ordering to 2:25 p.m. serving. Other guess were experiencing the same problem. Again, our server was very apologetic and kept our iced teas refilled. I would come back, but would hope the food would come out faster. (A computer glitch was said to blame, but we did wonder how that would affect cooking.)

Excellent service from Loren! Went for lobster night and it was delicious! Also had salmon, their specialty cheddar rolls and dessert-all of which was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Come here every year pre- Covid. Had read some reviews that it wasn't what it was prior and fully agree. We had an outdoor reservation and were seated promptly. The service was fine but felt rushed. The food is not the same. It was "fine" but we loved this place for grilled fish, higher end seafood and steak items and found the menu to have lots of sandwiches, only 3 specials (all sandwiches) and no regular grilled fish. I also understand shortages and inflation. I think this will be remedied in the future but for reference we had 2 beers, 1 cocktail, Caesar salad with chicken, crab cake dinner (nothing great), peel and eat shrimp (beyond chewy and cold) for $160 pre tax and tip.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Waited over 10 minutes. After being seated by the host (who was very pleasant), no communication whatsoever after this. We noticed the tables around us being served. Then walks in a couple who is seated and within a minute they are brought water. We then made our exit.

Food was wonderful and we were able to watch the weigh-ins as the fishing boats returned with their catches during the Mid Atlantic Tournament.

First off they give you a menu that does not have all the items on it the menu is deceiving I ordered something I did not want to order and then I'm looking around and I see other tables getting sandwiches which are a lot cheaper then there entrees but when they give you the menu the sandwiches are not on the menu so I ask the waiter and he is like oh yeah it's in the menu outside when you first walk in are you kidding me this is the most deceiving restaurant I have ever been to and I will never come back to this restaurant and the service was horrible the waiter was so fake and on top of it they charge you 6.99 for 4 rolls which should be free with your dinner and more butter then the rolls it's ridiculous such a rip off thanks for ruining my first night in ocean city Maryland

This was a great spot my partner and I went on for a date. The food was fantastic. My partner tried salmon for the first time and was impressed. I enjoy salmon often, the chive cream made it very good. The tuna was very fresh and is caught locally. We got for dessert the brownies and ice cream, the server failed to mention it was a portion for THREE people, nevertheless it was delicious and indulgent. The restaurant is very cozy and with a good view! Family friendly too

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. The best food ever!!! We were so impressed with the food. I'm ready to go back tonight. The filet and steak sauce were the best I have had in my entire life. My sister got the Tortellini bowl with crab meat, buttered shrimp and cheese. It was the best tortellini ever!!! We ended up splitting our meals so we could have both. To wind things up, the most delicious creme brûlée with a toffee cookie. In all of the years we have been coming with our family and for our getaway sister weekends, this is the BEST food in Ocean City. Our compliments to the incredible Chef.

Outstanding service (thank you Bethany!) and food!! Location- right on the marina- is amazing. Try to time your visit to catch a sunset but really any time would be perfect. The place is insanely crowded but we got free parking right out front and got seated right away! You can make same day reservations before 4;00. We sat inside but had window views of the beautiful marina. Plan to spend some money but it's well worth it. We got the cheddar biscuits as the appetizer- loved the butter with sea salt. I got a pain killer- tasted great and hubby got the Dogfish 90 minute IPA. My husband got the filet mignon and said it was perfectly cooked. He got the 7 oz bit for a little extra I would say get the 12 oz. I got the halibut which is served on pesto orzo with lump crab meat and it is divine!! My husbands side was a Mediterranean quinoa salad that he loved. They also have live music on certain nights including Tuesdays. Overall excellent experience!!
