Sunset Pizzeria & Bar

I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak which 5/5 delicious i couldn't stop eating to make the review, the bread was soft and the meat was tender and juicy with the right amount of peppers and onions. The pizza was a little to greasy which made my toppings fall off every time I grabbed a slice but flavor wise the bread was crunchy but soft on the inside I took down slice after slice without waste 4.5/5. The last thing I ordered was the meat lasagna which I had a few bites of and knew I was going to channel my inner big back to crush. Lots cheese and meat and it come with some garlic bread that's soft and buttery.

I was worried with all the bad reviews but we ordered the small fries and they were crispy and more than enough for 2. The pizza was on the thin side but they have pan pizza also which we’ll try next time. Pizza was nice size for a large and plenty of toppings. The crust was nice and crunchy on the bottom and good with the sauce and toppings. Definitely recommend this place. Price was normal for large pizza 2 drinks and what they call small but I call large fries for $39 was well worth it.

Man this is a tough review! I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and the food although pretty consistent the preparation is terrible. I get the same thing and every time I come in in the past year the food preparation has been thoughtless. It’s not hard to do it right so it shows that the current cook doesn’t really care. To him it’s a paycheck, clearly! The cheese pizza here used to be an art form. Good amount of cheese and not a blend, great large pizza size, you know the pizza that was made poplar by Verrazano, Carmines, Villa, that used to be the sunset way, but clearly not anymore. This stuff is so easy, all you gotta do is GIVE2FS but that seems to have changed. If you give me a slice like this again and call it a slice paying $20 for three slices and a coke, I won’t be back. Sorry, but this is ridiculous! Funny but not funny Do better. Get a new pizzero!

I always pass by this place and never tried it and i live less than 10 minutes away. I finally get to try it and hands down oh how great the food, fast service, staff were very nice, approachable, we were helped right away. They have a big menu. My fav was the Italian salad so delicious. I will definitely return to try more on the menu Thank you Sunset pizzeria you all ROCK

Really good pizza and Greek salad at the Pizzeria. We went into the bar afterwards to check it out, and quickly left. It smelled so gross in there and was not welcoming at all! The attached pizzeria was the total opposite. We will definitely go back for a meal.

Staff greeted us as we came in. The seating is open and the decorations give the place a very 'man cave' vibe. Saw lots of families, sports playing on the televisions, mostly. The food was well made and delicious, definitely suggest the Philly. Great vibe, pleasant staff, good food. Highly recommend.

Short: Busy pizza place with a dining room adjacent to a bar. Slices during lunchtime. Get 2 slices because they’re on the small side Went here in the middle of the week right at open and the place immediately filled up. I think that says a lot. Pizza slice is decent with thin crust, but crunchier than I expected. Lots of extra seasoning on top of a basic sauce and cheese.

Ordered a 3 cheese pizza for delivery Order went well, delivery on time, size was good. But that was the end of the positive. I have no idea what the cheeses were because some idiot thought it was a grand idea to chop up a entire garlic bulb and spread it Raw and crunchy as first thing down on this. We gagged,, 40+$ into the trash.

We've dined in once and ordered pickup multiple times and never had a bad experience. It is more on the pricier side for pizza but it is very good. We enjoy the fresh garlic on the pizza. Wings are always a staple here. They have plenty of other options like calzones and sandwiches and we've tried a bunch of different things! With that being said we always end up spending around $100+tip which is pretty pricey. Service is always friendly and their dining area has a bunch of TVs. It's usually pretttty busy especially on special occasions and weekends so order in advance!

Nice little pizza place. Good decor. Welcoming. We all enjoyed our pizzas-a little on the greasy side but tasty.

I had the Gyro, my wife had Tortellini. The gyro was stuffed with meat and Tzatziki. The sauce on my wife's pasta was made-to-order. You can truly taste the freshness. Geanene was wonderful to us on the patio side. Lots of TVs to watch the golden knights, etc.

Ordered on line and picked up within 20 minutes. Excellent meal! I ordered the eggplant parm dinner which came with 2 large slices of eggplant on a bed of spaghetti and covered in lots of mozzarella cheese. The side salad was crisp and fresh. The garlic bread soft with lots of butter. I will definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful dining experience here today! We are visiting family in Henderson and my 6yo really wanted pizza. We drove around and found this family owned place and decided to give it a try. The service was fantastic. We got a menu and the staff person was so helpful in navigating it (it's a big menu!) We ordered items off the lunch menu-slices of pizza for the kids, a salad, and a sandwich. Everything came out fairly quickly and was delicious! My kids loved their pizzas and we enjoyed our sandwich and salad. The fries were also amazing. The place was clean and open. Would recommend and we will come again!

Amazing! I loved this place when I have come here to have dinner with my family. They are great service, they do delivery, take out & you can dine in! Along with this, the food is really good, these are good sliced pizza where you can eat a lot of pizza, The delivery drivers are great with their service as well as they come within 45 minutes & the extra cheese pizza is really great! I recommend 10/10 to eat here. Great place to go to.

The service was great. Our food was hot and delicious. We didn't have to wait long for the food to get to the table. And there were lots of cute and funny plaques to read all over the walls.

We are a group of seniors that meet up once a month or more and enjoy ourselves in a pleasant environment. Sunset Pizzeria has delicious food but over that our server Geanene is always friendly and accommodating to us all. She remembers from visit to visit what we like and makes sure we leave happy. She always goes the extra mile and never complains when we ask her to take our photo. She's the best I've encountered in a long time. We all love her service and friendliness.

First time and we loved it! Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent. We had the pizza and wings and enjoyed both a lot. Definitely will be back...a lot!

I was heading home after a morning appointment, and Sunset Pizzeria just opened. I whipped in there and decided to order to go lunch. I ordered the patty melt special for the day. I just got home and it looks quite amazing, took a bite it's really good with pickles, onions on toasted rye! Hit the spot

Aloha! My wife and I ordered a pizza TO GO from Sunset Pizzeria after seeing a movie last night at the Henderson Cinedome Theater. We were so impressed with the pizza that we wanted to write a review! Sunset Pizzeria has been serving the Henderson community for over 14 years, and it's clear why they've been so successful. The pizza is made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The slices are thin, and the toppings are generous. We ordered the Sunset pizza, which is topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. It was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating it! We also appreciated the friendly and attentive service at Sunset Pizzeria. The cashier was very helpful in recommending the right pizza for us, and the pizza was still hot when we arrived home last night. The atmosphere at Sunset Pizzeria is casual, relaxed, and family-friendly. This Pizzeria offers a variety of pizzas, pasta, and other Italian dishes. Overall, we had an excellent experience at Sunset Pizzeria. The pizza was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great pizza in Henderson. This pizzeria is not ideal if you want to lose weight, however, my weight was down .2 pounds this morning and I'll take it! Mahalo Sunset Pizzeria!

Pizza and Salad were amazing, service was quick and good!. It was not crowded one bit, they even gave us a free extra pizza after accidentally making a large instead of extra large. We didn't even notice they did, and the didn't take advantage of it, instead made up for it without us even asking. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

The pizza was just okay for me. The service at the bar was good and it is a cozy little bar.

My wife and I called ahead to ensure they were family-friendly, and we were assured this place is. When we arrived, there was no host or hostess to seat us, so we seated ourselves and our two small children in a corner of the dining area. The staff behind the counter took turns staring out at us, but no one ever approached us. We sat for about 15 minutes while the staff continued to ignore us. We finally acquiesced and walked out of the place with our small children in our arms. What a thoroughly insulting experience. We went across the street to Johnny Mac's instead. Avoid this heartless restaurant.

Awesome pizza! Stopped by for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. We had pizza and wings and now it's our go to place to eat.. It also gave the best customer service the gals there are awesome they always remember our order when we get there. Give it a try!

First time trying this local pizza spot, driven by it so many times and decided to try it today, so disappointed that it was sooo soggy. We got the Hawaiian, I believe they just put too much cheese that it over powered the two toppings, we couldn't taste anything but cheese. The crust and sauce was ok, it just sucks it was so damn soggy. The oil from the cheese was just sitting like a puddle in the middle.

The food is always really good here. Salads are a little watery, possibly due to not drying the lettuce throughly. Staff are not very friendly but do recommend specials to save money.

don't bother going here on your lunch break...two customers in front of us (already sitting down waiting for their food they ordered) and 30 minutes later to get a pizza we ordered. You'll die of old age and hunger before you get your food.

This place always hits the spot. Pizza is good and the hot sandwiches are good. Today I stopped in on my lunch and had the Phillycheese steak lunch special. Prices are reasonable as well. The staff is always nice and very fast in here. Plenty of TVs in here to keep the ambiance cool.

NOPE. I'll never come back here now that I've dined in. I had such great experiences with Sunset pizzeria- but of course that's only been for pickup orders! I am so sad to be writing this review now. They have so much potential to be able to make this a great hang out spot with the location their in. I guess I missed out on all the warnings from other reviews! We walked into Sunset Pizzeria on a Saturday night, and noticed there were 2 families sitting and eating. We looked around, and figured we sit ourselves since no one at the register acknowledged us. We found a booth, and went to find a menu, which is by the register to figure out what to eat. A White young lady greeted us and asked if we were ready, we said no, she said okay and walked away. Then a young man, who's bald, white, and has a beard saw we were ready and took our order. He was probably the only person there who was trying to do a couple of things while watching the restaurant. He was friendly, told us they had a bar around the corner, and smiled when we said thanks for our receipt. The soda fountain was dirty, sticky, and out of most Coke products.. Then I notice a Hispanic young lady, not sure if she was on the clock or not, with the cook in the back: talking to and eating french fries... right where he's supposed to be making OUR fries, wings, and fingers... Cue the anxiety for me. My husband said give them a chance, so I shut up and sat and waited for our food. The young lady who originally was snacking on fries, walked into the restaurant area and began to eat a sandwich. Then the guy who took our order brought our pizza out, then the original one at the register brought our fried food out. The food wasn't good, it was bland, the fingers weren't tossed in the sauce properly. The pizza doesn't taste good anymore. The only thing I enjoyed were the fries. I was praying no one else ate out of them before we got them, but they were too salty. I also noticed throughout the meal the girl at the register and the other servers were sitting with the Hispanic eating. When pickup orders came, they did not wash their hands at all. They had been touching drinks, each other, and their hair. The fry cook was drinking his drinks on the line, visibly in the window where we could see him, and only the busser was working to keep the place clean. At one point, I even saw the register girl wash her hands, TO FIX HER BUN, AND NOT WASH HER HANDS AGAIN. Then, a really tall white guy came in, folded boxes, closed out some tabs, and ignored a customer who walked to the register to pick up an order. Never once did he wash his hands, put gloves on, or acknowledge anyone, or practice proper hygiene protocol either. Aside from the expensive bill for the terrible food and flat soda, a customer dropped and broke a pepper shaker in the walkway where the register is, and no one rushed to clean that. There was shattered glass on the floor for minutes just sitting there, no warning sign, no broom or dustpan, no one rushing to make sure that walkway was clear in case a customer walked into it. NOTHING. The most dangerous part for me is that the staff follows no hygiene safety protocol at all, and I am never coming back! I cannot imagine how they work when they're busy!

Always a great experience here, the staff are always nice and the food is delicious... if you haven't been by all means check ot out.

my family and i love this place, i've eaten here for years. the ambiance is casual with tvs to watch sports games. this place has good lunch + dinner family meal specials. Good quality food with good quality service from the waitresses.

The food was horrible they spit in the food found hair one time in the pizza. Cold chicken fingers They have such snippy attitude on them very unfriendly. Please don't even waste your money on them it's not worth it!!!! Cheese Pizza

Uhhh still amazing this is my favorite spot.. Plus theres a separate bar location just next door a great place to hangout cause its next to the movies. If you get worried about your kids hanging out by themselves for the first time you could hangout there to be close.

I know sometimes things are hit and miss but these guys hit more than they miss. the pizza tonight was excellent. Almost everybody is entitled to their own opinion and my opinion is these guys are really good. Do you know how to take the order, They know how to fill the order and they're pleasant to deal with.

It's welcoming when you walk in. You get to seat yourself, and walk up to make your order. They do walk it out to you, and there are free refills of pop and water. The serving sizes are big. The flavor is great. We split a pizza, onion rings, Stromboli, lasagna, and cheese ravioli. We brought most of it home. There were four of us. The pastas come with side salad and bread. The garlic bread was great, the salad, had no flavor. The only pieces that had flavor were the onions and tomatoes. It looked great, but it was far below the look.

Haven't had pizza in awhile so we stopped in here on a whim the other night. We thought about eating in, but because of their lack of healthy drink options, we decided to take our pizza to go. When we got home and sat down to our Sunset Special we immediately noticed how soggy the pizza was. I have never in my life had a pizza so soggy. It was so gross. I ate around the soggy middle, but ended up in the bathroom regardless. My friend reheated the rest of the pizza, but at that point and him also visiting the bathroom he threw the rest of the slices away. What a big disappointment. We will not be returning to this establishment, nor recommend it. Keep driving.

Cool little spot next to sunset pizzeria on Boulder Highway in Henderson...decent selection of beers and drinks, prices are reasonable as well as the service..you can order food from next door or walk back and forth if you so choose....

We drove by off Boulder Hwy in Henderson a few times and saw lines outside so wanted to give it a try. Nice, spacious and clean. We had the meatball and sausage parm sandwiches that came with fries and soft drinks. Prices are reasonable. Food came out fast and sandwiches were flavorful. Will definitely make a return to try the pizza

Our group of 6 ordered six different entrees. Each person stated their meal was delicious! The portions were large, too! Go hungry so you can finish it all.

First time here. Pre-ordered our pizzas to go due to not knowing when we'd show up for a birthday party. They were extremely accommodating and let me know of the to go option. Had a clean and large table to use for 5 kids and 2 adults. Place was packed for a middle of a Saturday. Has a cool DDD t you or theme going. Definitely will be back.

My family and I have been coming here for years! In my opinion this is the best pizza in Vegas. The staff is always super nice to us and we have never had a negative experience. Whether we are taking our food to go, getting it delivered, or sitting down to eat we are always happy with the experience.

This a family favorite place with great food. I'm from the east coast so most pizza doesn't impress me. This does. The thin crust, the tangy sauce. My fave will always be extra cheese, sausage and mushroom. Also love the wings and fingers.

This pizza is very soggy from undercooked vegetables and tomatoes thrown on top. Used a fork to eat the first piece. Had to use the air fryer to crisp it up. Lousey Pizza. The crust sucked.

Worst experience yet for me as someone that is new to Vegas! My pizza came out burnt and they took it back and brought me another pizza that wasn't mine. I have ordered philly cheesesteaks from here many times. I called inmy order told them everything on them but i wanted Mozzerella cheese on them. The man on the phone repeated my order three times including the mozzerella cheese. Picked up my order went home and Lord and behold no cheese at all on either one of them. i was disgusted and also how much they increased the price. Won't be going back.

Great pizza and great wine at the Bar nextdoor. Wish the cashier would have told us about the Bar nextdoor, we had to find it for ourselves. Nice dinner after the Elvis movie across the parking lot. We will be back for sure!

First time here and I've lived in the neighborhood for 20 years...great discovery on my part. Ive seen movies next door at the Cinedome the last 15 years and never went...shame on me. lol Pizza was amazing, thin crust. Real sausage here, nothing like the garbage they use @ Dominoes, Pizza Hut. 5 stars all around from quality, cleanliness and service. Dino and Tony hooked us up. Sorry for the half pizza picture, I got a little excited and started to indulge before picture taking. Go get a pizza and enjoy!

Doesn't look like my family will go back to this place.. After spending $39.00 plus a $5.00 tip for a to go order, once home the pizza was burnt and the wings were Luke warm. Call them told them about the order. Told me they would remake the whole order..so another trip of 8 miles around trip x2= 16 mile...the second order wasn't any better! Crust was now like piece of cardboard and burnt...wings was warm....so sad! Employees don't really care.

Best pizza I've had since I was in Brooklyn, NYC! Delicious. Highly recommend this place.
