Located inside SJ Downtown Food Hall, parking not too hard to find a block away on a Saturday evening. Easy to order on the kiosk, the pizza ready in about 10 minutes, but sitting on the counter with no indication it was ready. I eventually walked up, read the tag (which matched my receipt), then told the employee who prepared it that this was my order. No response, he seemed confused, perhaps didn't speak English, so I just took it and left. I did get a text when I first placed the order as well as a text later thanking me for my order, but it would be helpful to get a notification in between those texts when an order is actually ready.
Anyway, the pepperoni slice was salty and savory in the best way, made with a nice balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, and topped off with a couple dollops of creamy ricotta. The square slice had a thicker crust and a nice crunch, burnt cheese at the edges, kinda like detroit style but not exactly... you gotta taste it for yourself to understand this deliciousness! By the way, I don't know if they really honor their business hours, as I've visited the food hall before, during Sunset Squares' listed hours, and this pizza spot was clearly not open. If they were more reliable, I'd definitely come here more often, $6 a slice, not bad at all!
