My wife and I were really looking forward to a rare night away. As parents, with school starting soon, we finally had the chance to line up a babysitter and enjoy some quiet time together. We checked into Sunset Station and everything seemed fine at first. After settling in, we went downstairs to grab a drink and grab a few items from our car. Unfortunately, what should’ve been a short trip turned into a nightmare. We returned to find our car had been broken into — the back window was shattered, and clearly someone had broken in. At that point, we obviously couldn’t stay the night. We were shaken, frustrated, and didn’t feel safe leaving the car like that. We immediately checked out and hoped that the hotel would show some level of understanding for what happened on their property. Unfortunately, the best they offered was to waive the resort fees. We’re locals and weren’t asking for anything unreasonable — just some recognition that this situation disrupted our entire night, cost us money in repairs, and ruined what little time we had to ourselves. Sadly, the response felt more like a business transaction than genuine hospitality. I never write reviews, but this experience was upsetting enough that I felt it was necessary. We won’t be returning to Sunset Station.

Our family really enjoys visiting Sunset Station, and it’s become a go-to destination for us—especially because of Kids Quest. The kids absolutely love it there! From the moment we walk in, they’re excited to dive into all the fun activities, games, and entertainment that Kids Quest offers. It’s a safe, clean, and engaging environment that keeps them busy and happy for hours. We actually make trips out to Sunset Station specifically for Kids Quest because it’s just that good. It’s such a relief as parents to have a place where we know our kids are well taken care of and having a great time, giving us a chance to relax a bit too. That said, we did have one unpleasant encounter with a staff member on a previous visit. While it wasn’t a great experience in the moment, it really seemed to be an isolated incident. Everyone else we've interacted with has been friendly, professional, and genuinely great with the kids. One bad apple won’t stop us from coming back to a place our family enjoys so much. Overall, Sunset Station and Kids Quest continue to be a highlight for our family outings. The smiles on our kids' faces say it all!

Google
Absolutely love this place, I’ve been staying here for 15 years. There are obvious issues with this hotel being economy focused, but if you can keep that in mind you will be very satisfied. The low rating reviews you will typically see on here are because people have a 5 star expectation and a 1 star budget. God bless

Google
I always stay at the Sunset Station. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the construction noise was awful while playing slots. The location is perfect, the cocktail waitress Teresa is amazing. I had not been there in almost 2 months and she remembered my name. Food is excellent. Gave the rooms a 3 because there is no coffee maker, no frig, which when you pay a lot for good food and you can't reheat it you have to leave it, and in the hot weather cold water would be great. The hall from the main lobby to the elevators is so long, I'm not sure how elderly and disabled people walk it. Overall, I will be back.

Stopped in for an urgent overnight hospital trip and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.. even at 3am! Got the room quickly, and checked in smoothly. The restaurant and Starbucks was really helpful since they open early! The overall vibe is nice and it’s very clean.. smells nice! I will always come here when in town.

We stayed as 4 family’s in July. Right from checkout to check in everything was wonderful. The staff are absolutely amazing. We did not walk by one person that didn’t acknowledge us with a hello is there something I can help you with? The first night we were not happy with our pillows the next morning I asked The maid on our floor If I could get two soft pillows, they were in our room that night with a note, apologizing for the hard pillows. The pool was great. The food in the restaurants were amazing, again the service was top notch. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Google
Passing through Vegas we had issues with our RV. We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights since it was nearby the dealership. What a nice surprise! The casino was bright and clean, the staff was polite, the room was clean, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We used the theater and they have a bowling alley. My favorite was the pool. I was worried about it being warm since it is in the middle of summer, but the water was chilled and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay, and was happy to find another casino we like in that area.

Google
First off, It’s a NO go for me. The hotel indicated “remodeled rooms” all while the bathrooms are locked in the 70’s: old toilets, tile, shower heads broken, doors and walls were warped, I guess smoking is back in casinos. Smelled horrific in there…customer service from valet/ outdoor loading. Lady at registration was nice, bellman was nice. The restaurant Brass & Fork had a nice menu, fair prices but the staff is terrible! Not welcoming at all. |The Italian restaurant was awesome! Great service! Staff was amazing! Every single person at that restaurant was unbelievably kind. Quality, authentic Italian. ||As all casinos now in Vegas area have high min bet tables. We did not see anything lower than $10 minimum bet. The rest of the tables at this casino were $25 and up. We had fun gambling because we had no choice but to go with the $10 minimum. “AD” craps dealer was awesome! Look for his table. Makes it fun and easy!!

Yelp
We are pretty big fans of the Station Casinos, but usually frequent Santa Fe and Red Rock due to where we live. We decided to try out Sunset Station one weekend while my daughter had a tournament in Henderson to save us the back and forth driving and time while having a mini stay-cation. The resort looks great from the outside and even nicer on the inside, a lot nicer than we were expecting to be honest! Beautiful ceilings, flooring, and decor throughout the Casino and restaurants. We quickly checked in, and headed off to our room to get settled. The rooms are located all the way at one end of the resort, so they are a bit of a walk and somewhat disconnected from the rest of the resort but not too bad. That area, to include the Brass Fork, are the only areas that look like they still could use some upgrade and remodeling. The rest of the Casino, Restaurants, and fun areas are all beautifully done and well kept up with. This Casino really has a great feel and is full of great restaurant options and things to do with kids. There is a food court for quick eats, a bowling alley with bar and food, a movie theatre, a couple of Cyber Quest fun centers and a Kid's Quest too. Lots of options! My only "negatives" or areas for improvement would be with the food court and the overall layout of everything. The food court area is crammed full of slot machines everywhere...so if you are taking your family or child for a quick bite you still have to deal with the noise, smoke etc...I know it is a Casino, but obviously family friendly so I would clear some of that out to make it a better experience for people to get food and enjoy their meal. For the layout, it is just a bit confusing to navigate and find things as there really aren't any signs that point you to Yard house or the Bowling Alley for example. Not the biggest issue, but would be helpful for sure. I also felt that it was a bit pricey for the rooms especially for high boarding pass members and locals...maybe because it was a soccer and baseball tournament weekend but still a bit high from what we are used to. In the end, Sunset Station is a great Resort and beautifully remodeled and taken care of. The staff is all friendly and helpful and there to make sure you have a great stay. We would definitely consider staying there again, but hopefully when we aren't so busy so we can enjoy it more!

Yelp
I've visited and stayed at Sunset Station several times now and have had pleasant experiences. This is an off strip casino and hotel located in the Whitney Ranch area of Henderson. There are a lot of positives and offerings should you stay here or find yourself in the area. It's a huge property with a lot going on. --Theme/Decor-- It features a Spanish/Mediterranean vibe with faux building decor and an awesome sky sunset ceiling. --Amenities-- *Large and wide spread casino floor *Bars and lounges -Including a newly re-modeled sports bar *Plenty of eateries and restaurants -More than five kinds from quick eats to a Yard House and more -The Brass Fork is great for breakfast -Starbucks on site *Regal Cinema and bowling *Club *Pool *Arcade and a Kids Quest --Stay/Rooms-- *Rooms are comfy enough and somewhat modern -Five offerings: Deluxe King, Deluxe Queen, King Suites, Petite Double Queen Suites, Petite King Suites *Comfy beds, nice wall art and appropriate amenities: WiFi, Flat screen TV, radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing board *Express check-in/check-out available *Garage and outdoor parking available --Service-- Great and appropriate service the times I have been in from various staff. --Prices-- As always, it depends on the day and season. You can snag rooms during the week sometimes in the $64+ range and weekends $99-229. Promotions help if you are a member. The daily hotel amenity fee is about $39+.

Yelp
Their new Sportsbook is a hugeeee upgrade! Brand new screens, new chairs and couches! Cindy always takes care of us whenever we arrive as we are avid sports fans. This is our new spot every Sunday! Knocked a star cause of the servers we had. Maybe bad timing? Shift change. But took a while for them to get back to us after our first order. Almost an entire football game. Not to mention I got double charged. Not going to dispute it since it's a hassle getting a new card and all info. This won't stop us from coming back though. Wings and fries are on point. Definitely goes well with a nice cold one! 3.5 stars!

Yelp
We stayed a weekend and enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet We had a good breakfast at the Brass Fork and an excellent burger at lunch. The Cobb salad was quite good. The prices are good, service is quick and the food is delicious. Can't wait to try the Italian restaurant next time.

Yelp
Station casinos have been generous with comps and the machines have treated me well. So glad I switched from staying at Boyd Casinos all the time. Great machines, restaurants and staff. Theaters, bowling, and some excellent restaurants too. Best of all, I don't have to deal with crowds on the Las Vegas Strip.

Yelp
We had an overall positive experience coming here to watch a game. There was plenty of parking and the interior is beautiful. The service was okay- we were able to sit down immediately and the service was quick, but our server seemed a little annoyed by our presence. But the noise level wasn't too bad and it was a nice way to watch a game! My virgin pina colada was really good, and the rest of the group enjoyed their food and drinks too.

Yelp
Me and my partner dropped 1k there and haven't won any bonus not a single one. Also the atm machines were all down only two was open I. The whole place. We didn't even get a drink? Very bad service! Do not go there they money hungry!

Yelp
You guys! There was a bloody handprint behind the bathroom door of the hotel. We stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament in January 2025. I saw this blood stain and reported it to the hotel manager who offered us an apology in a $50 voucher. After sending the cleanup crew to our room, we went back downstairs to request to move, and we were denied because the hotel was booked. We told them we did not want to pay for the room because, how disgusting is that? And how careless of the cleaning crew? We were denied yet again but this time they gave us a $150 voucher. Customer service led us. Nowhere, we were tossed around from assistant manager to manager with no solution and no compensation other than the $150 voucher in which we did not accept. See photos below and enter at your own risk!.

Yelp
Longtime residents of Henderson may remember Sunset Station as a first for the neighboring town of Las Vegas. June 10 1997 marked Hendersons first casino. The marvel and glorification of the magnificent Sunset dates back many centuries ago. A time Sun worshipping was a formal religion. A time when both the tribes people and the wildlife came to life in the twilight hours. Perhaps the belief that the power of the sunset had the ability to settle into their souls. And if the sun is considered a God, one might understand the reason people feel such a strong connection. As the sun not only watches over the planet. It sets down to earth amongst the people every evening.

Yelp
So many great restaurants to choose from, fun little bars with friendly tenders, very cool ambiance with a full time sunset view, and a cool sport book for watching the games. We went back to back last week and think I'll go another night this week. Good times.

Yelp
I'm here at sunset station sports book tried to get a couple of drinks from cocktail waiters it was impossible to get they're attention Order something called kickoff taste it like Being there a few time both have been Terrible experience will not recommend this place to watch a game I know they spent lots of $ remodeling the sportsbook but not worth the time

Yelp
Stay away from this horrible bottle And horribly run at front desk from a rosar(manager) and Ron. It's easier to check in at holiday in express.... Too add more insult to this. Ron the front desk with help of the manager Rosa Decided to charge the resort fee of 45.00 knowing there was local discount with no fee and specifically told them that at the beginning of the stay. I don't understand this mismanagement of front desk but they need better help

Yelp
I lived in Henderson for some time, and when when we needed to come back for some routine stuff, we opted to stay here due to familiarity. For the price, the room was decent. Very, very brown color scheme, which i found off-putting. But the room was clean and spacious. Bathroom layout is a joke, but it worked. Definitely not a high-end place, but for a Station Casino, it gets the job done. Close to 215 to get elsewhere in town, and across the street from the Galleria so plenty of options for shopping and food. Service at the front desk was prompt and friendly. If you need a good-priced place to stay and don't want/need to stay on the Strip, this is a good option.

Yelp
My teen son has fond memories of this place, pre-covid, and we wanted to treat him to anywhere he chose for his birthday. We are middle class and rarely use hotels. We thought we's splurge on the Petite Queen Suite and Bed and Breakfast package. What a disappointment. First of all, the "suite" was just one room, not two, so it should not have been allowed to be called that. All the electrical outlets were loose so that we couldn't plug our device chargers. There were no blankets on the bed, just sheets and a thin bedspread. Worse of all, for a party of 4 the front desk told me the bed and breakfast package only included a $15 credit per ROOM, not per GUEST. I feel lied to and taken advantage of. Will find somewhere else next time.

Lorrie R.

Yelp
Ordered 5.99 burger. Server didn't say we needed players card to get that price. Jacked the price to 11.99. Not going back. Wasn't even very good.

Yelp
Nice hotel, lots of restaurants inside and around it, smells like cigarettes everywhere but are we surprised? No. The parking lot is so painfully confusing. Like why is it so big. The room was nice and clean for the most part. No microwave or fridge though. It is called sunset station for a reason, very nice sunset.

Yelp
This is my go to hotel at the moment. Nearest hotel to my family's residence, My friend gambles enough to get any day comped. No hotel or service fees when comped! Check in is always a breeze and always so nice, friendly and helpful. They even offered my friend wheelchair service if needed. He has a crutch and one bad knee. Of course, I don't gamble enough to get comped rooms, sad. Who uses the gym? I do! I guess nobody uses the gym. The equipment is still so clean and pristine! I need to try the pool next! But gotta gamble more to get comped rooms! Lol Housekeeping staff was excellent! The only downfall is the looooong hallway from the casino to the elevator for the rooms. With a friend with bad knees, it feels like a 2 mile walk, Plenty of parking and entrances. White Castle is in the same parking lot for cheap eats! Wanna try the oyster bar in the hotel, but that's way out of my budget.

Yelp
This is not your typical Las Vegas experience. This is more of a family oriented laid-back not gonna break the bank type of location. While we had a baseball tournament we stayed at this hotel and we had a lot of fun maybe not so kid friendly in the casino area however there were places where kids could enjoy! Our rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff came every day and redid our beds and kept our bathrooms pristine. Downstairs you'll find a bowling alley a movie theater, a Starbucks, a restaurant and of course your typical gambling slots and tables. However, you can really enjoy your self if you go out to the pool and order some drinks from very good staff. I would definitely go back to this place for any type of convention or sporting event or just trying to get out of town I recommend this joint. However, on another note, if you're looking to drink at the pool, look no further than this place because it ranked just up there with any other pool bar I've been in Las Vegas .

Yelp
A great place, friendly staff, clean rooms. My only complaint is the extra charge for a refrigerator and coffee pot. Ridiculous along with resort fees. Any other Hotels I have stayed in have those things complimentary . Usually a normal part of the room amenities.

Yelp
My review is based on a Christmas party we hosted at Sunset Station Hotel and Casino. We rented the Fiesta room on the first floor, and organized a buffet for 50 people. The tables were beautifully set up, and the food was delicious. The salad and vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the ham and turkey were juicy, cooked to perfection. The chocolate cake cannot be missed! Everyone had a good time. The employees were very helpful and friendly, also keeping the buffet trays looking great and the tables cleared for our guests. I would recommend Sunset Station Hotel and Casino to have your company's holiday party!

Yelp
Nice rooms fora remodeled downtown hotel. Plenty of parking in the back, but you have to walk through the restaurants, casino to register. Good local casino that is pretty chill with their dealers and slot management. Pool area is great and very chill for relaxing. Typical resort fees for parking, Wi-Fi and gym. We'd come back.

Cassandra B.

Yelp
Brenda at the Gaudi bar/ center bar is the best!! We've been coming here for the past 6 years and she hasn't skipped a beat! Bravo!! We love you!

Yelp
I stayed here since it was closer to where I wanted to be in Henderson versus the Strip. Plus, it was cheaper than staying on the Strip. Kind of crazy how that worked out. I booked the Sunset Station hotel & casino about a month out from my departure date after discovering how close it was to Cornerstone Park. I also found out that it was about $100 cheaper than my original booking on The Strip, so I cancelled and rebooked. Too bad that the swimming pool was closed for the season while I was there in February 2024. With that said, I arrived here during Presidents' Day weekend 2024, and stayed here at this property for two nights. Room were pretty high because of the holiday weekend, but it is what it is. Normally it would have probably been under $150 a night, but I guess they wanted to cash in on the holiday weekend. The casino itself is quite large and I found myself wanting around the property on Friday to figure out what to have for meals. Thankfully, they have a small food court and a Starbucks that suited me. I was glad that I didn't have to go outside and look for something. I normally don't gamble, but it was a nice casino layout. Plenty of video slots and other table games with most people play slots during the day and table games at night, at least that's what I saw. Check in was good and fast. Received my room key and I was in the room within 10 minutes after finding the elevator. The check out process was good too, just need to tell them you wanted to check out and give them your room key. Friendly and professional is good. Didn't really need anything special on this trip. The overall experience here at the Sunset Station Hotel & casino here in Las Vegas was good, especially after getting over my vertigo symptoms. Apparently, a good night's rest and some eye exercises were the impetus to helping me recover. A great comfortable bed is always welcomed too. The room itself was good and cozy, like many hotel rooms are. I think I got the king size bed and everything worked as it should. The bed itself was comfortable, enough to have a great night's sleep both nights I was here. I enjoyed the Starbucks here and it was my breakfast on Friday morning. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel on Saturday since I was at Cornerstone Park for an event. The hotel room was clean and homely, as it was the typical template of a Standard hotel room should be. I did enjoy watching the television while in bed and having dinner, which was good and relaxing. Just being on vacation is awesome. I checked out the hotel's WiFi but didn't use it because it was kind of spotty. I didn't use any other of the hotel's amenities during my stay. What else is there? For the most part though, it was an enjoyable stay sans the vertigo episode. While I didn't gamble on this trip, it was nice to just be able to travel and do other things. If you want to experience Las Vegas but don't want to pay outrageous prices for a room, consider the Sunset Station hotel and casino. It's definitely off the strip and is a great alternative to accommodations on The strip. They have a pool but likely open during the summer. What a bummer but it is what it is. Could have seen myself people watching and lounging around doing nothing. Just used this hotel for its proximity to where I needed to be and a place to sleep. If you're like me or love to gamble, consider this property for your Vegas hotel needs. The Sunset Station Hotel & casino is located at 1301 W Sunset Avenue in Las Vegas. It's in Henderson and quite away from the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Like many hotels and resorts around the world, they usually do advance reservation through their website or through third-party websites. That usually includes payment to credit card or debit card - but mostly credit card. As far as parking goes plenty of parking here convenience. If you're like me, the thing to do is take an Uber or Lyft from the airport, to save yourself the trouble of committing to the public transportation system. Most tourists like myself do that. If you want to save some money, consider the Las Vegas public transportation system as your best bet to get where you want to go. It is cheaper than a Uber, but you have to wait a while for your bus and the commute time to and from the airport to the hotel, could be a lot of times to spend doing other things, but whatever. With that said, if you want something off strip to save money, consider staying here. They have a casino too. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.5 stars for the food court and Baskin Robbins. 5.0 stars for the location. 3.5 stars for the prices. 4.0 stars for the room comfort. Support local B B

Yelp
Sunset Station is Henderson's premier casino. It is a level of luxury far exceeding any other. Everything about this beautiful property blends together into an immersive casino experience. Want to gamble? There are lots of fun slots. They have a ton of Buffalo slots. Want to eat? There's a smorgasbord of restaurant choices available. There's even a hotel and a newly-renovated sportsbook area.

Yelp
I'm considering knocking off one star due to the fact that I spend more money here than I actually earn back, but despite that, we have a soft spot for our local charming casino. The atmosphere at this place is relaxed, even in the casino section--so much that I might have even drifted off one time while my husband was playing a machine. Our preferred spot in the casino is not the bowling alley, but rather the movie theater. We invested in Regal Unlimited memberships, which come at a cost of $21.99 per person per month. With this, we can watch movies as frequently as we'd like and receive a 20% discount on concessions. The theater is pretty lenient about bringing in outside food (or at least, we assume so, since we've managed to bring in milkshakes). For those with a sweet tooth, there are options like Ben and Jerry's, Fatburger Shakes, and Starbucks. We haven't had the chance to dine at any of the restaurants. With that being said, the casino is surrounded by neighboring eateries on all sides. It's conveniently located across from the Galleria Mall and Walmart, and borders other shops like Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, and Five Below. For out-of-towners, this means you could park your vehicle and essentially walk to a variety of shops and dining spots. By signing up for a player's card, they'll send you promotional flyers for complimentary rooms. We typically don't use our complimentary rooms since we live nearby, but we eventually took advantage of the offer. The room was clean, the air was free of smoke, and the walls didn't seem paper-thin (or perhaps we were just fortunate to not have occupied rooms nearby).
google avatar

Wayne B.

Yelp
Went to see Wicked and then ate at Sbarro both excellent. The Regal Theater is off the charts with lounge seating and only seven people. The intimate theater is nice. Admission for two is $30 but you can pick out your seats online. $5 on Wed. & Thurs.

Yelp
Currently staying here. My family and I arrived at about 4:30pm today (2/12/25). The check in process was great. When we got to our room we realized we were mislead by the hotel's description of the room. We booked a 2 Queen Petite Suite with a full size sleeper sofa. Our room has 2 queen beds with a sofa but it does not convert to a bed. We have a family of 5 so it's definitely an inconvenience. I called the front desk at about 4:45 to request a blanket and pillow, since 1 of us would have to sleep on the sofa. Nobody brought our blanket or pillow. I called again about 6:15 and I was assured someone would be up shortly with the blanket and pillow. Still nothing..... I called again at 8:00 and asked if I could come down myself and pick it up. I was once again assured it would be brought up to our room soon. I waited another hour and still had not received the blanket and pillow. I called again at 9:00pm and asked again with no success. We have 3 kids that are sleeping so I'm giving up for the night on receiving a blanket or pillow. We have only been here for 6 hours out of a 2 night stay but we are likely leaving in the morning for another property due to this frustrating experience.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed my dinners at the oyster bar - the food has been consistently delicious. However, I won't be returning because of an employee, Lionel, made me extremely uncomfortable. I was dining alone this time, and despite knowing I was married, he repeatedly commented on my appearance, touched my arm a few times, said he was jealous of my husband, and even asked me out. No guest should have to deal with that kind of behavior.

Yelp
We were immediately waited on and easily accommodated with substitutions such as egg whites and tomatoes. Coffee was so smooth and the presentation was superb. Super tall glasses of water and a big cup of coffee. In Vegas style this place is impressive. Pop music played kinda loud which is different but appropriate for the venue. Bravo!! Feeling full and happy.

Yelp
I had to come to Vegas for an event and most of the hotels were sold out. I got this one through Expedia. It's really big, but it doesn't feel big, once you're inside. All the rooms are non smoking, which I love. It's quiet, kind of elegant and the staff was impeccable. Rosa, at reception, told me she'd been working here for 26 years! My room seemed very clean, the valet parking is complimentary and lunch at the Brass Key was delicious. My server Marina was very attentive, despite being very busy. They charge $91 for the resort fee, yipe! I think I would search around a bit more before coming back here, but you really don't have to leave the hotel. It also has a movie theater and bowling alley. The resort fee and the size are not my favorites, but it's quite lovely.

I'm updating my review, as I went tonight , for a different reason. I had some questions for the cage staff about a check. Blake helped me and he was so nice, courteous, and helpful . He explained the whole process, and then went above and beyond, to assist in finding me a place that could help me. Staff members like him are few and far between, and he definitely deserves recognition. At least from me! And my review. Thank you!

Yelp
Sunset Station Serves a Sensational Staycation ...      We stayed at Sunset Station Casino, July 26-29 2024, 1301 W Sunset Rd, Henderson, NV 89014, for my grandson's JBT Championship Bowling Tournament. We're locals, so this is a staycation for us! We've had staycations at many local Las Vegas hotel casinos, but this is our first time at Sunset Station.      First impressions and check in: Due to our not so lovely weather (28 days straight triple digit heat wave averaging 116°), I opted for covered parking to lessen "hot car syndrome" even though free "valet" was recommended for check in. Free parking at casinos always gets bonus points from me, and Station Casinos still have free parking. Park in the casino front if you want to be near check in, and in the concrete covered parking out back if you want a cooler summer car. We asked for early check in, which cost extra, but the lovely gals at check in explained there was additonal fees between 9am-12n, but from 12n to 3pm if a room is available then no charge for early check in. More bonus points for Sunset!        We checked in "early" at exactly 12n, no extra charge. It was fast, the clerk was cheerful and offered lots of guidance and extras, plus a nice room selection. We headed to our room on the requested 7th floor. A long walk down a secluded hallway takes us to a day time security guard, then to an elevator requiring a hotel card to access. You'll really like that extra level of security. The guard seems mostly for screening pool guests, since some casinos offer pool passes to locals, but still like that extra level.       The room was standard (see pics) with two queens, table and chairs, tv, and dresser. More bonus points for a separate dressing area (sink, mirrors, towels) outside the bathroom shower area. The room and bath were clean, included blackout curtains, and icy a/c (set it cool as you want) for the outside 113° weather.         The casino has a nice circular type set up. A long circular walk takes you past nearly everything, then right back to the parking garage. There are dozens of places to eat from Starbucks and Panda Express to a coffee shop and oyster bar. They were running a food special of 8 different dishes for $8 at the Italian restaurant (yummy choices), but my favorite meal was at the Oyster Bar where I ordered 1/2 lb of chilled large peel-and-eat shrimp with a side basket of bread for only $14 (no charge for the bread). Service was wonderful at both restaurants, plus I was sitting with friends and the servers didn't make a fuss over separate checks, and actually got the orders right. It's nice to eat somewhere that trains it servers well and they even add a smile.         As I said at the beginning, we were attending my grandson's JBT Championship Bowling Dinner and Tournament. Sunset's 72 lane bowling alley Strike Zone was hosting a few hundred bowlers and their families for four days in a row. We booked three nights to make a mini-stay-vacay part of the enjoyment. The bowling alley staff were amazing, generous, happy (I love service with a smile) and on their toes. I don't know how, but the snack bar kept up with orders, plus food wasn't heavily over-priced and actually tasted fairly good. They let us use extra chairs from the bar and restaurant for adequate seating. I mention this because most places do not! The Strike Zone handled this over-flowing crowd with ease and, again - smiles. (See pics)      Check out was a breeze. We held the room on a credit card but prefer paying cash at check out. We were able to pay the entire bill at the counter, then use the kiosk key drop for check out ... no lines, no wait, easy as pie!          As locals, we have stayed at about a dozen Las Vegas casinos, several quite elegant, one or two very cheap, and quite few in the middle. I have to say, we really liked the price, the upper class restaurants and many walk up fast food choices, the casino layout, (especially) free parking, great service from the entire casino staff, variety of slot play, children's choices including Kid's Quest day care and bowling, and can I say, Wow? All in one place!         We stayed four days without a single complaint! That pulls a full five stars out of me! Wish I could have made it 10 - and that's from experienced locals with 50 years of staycations. We highly recommend Sunset Station Casino,  our new favorite in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Well where do I start. First, the clerk at the front desk was very welcoming and personable. Check in was fast. So now for the rest of the stay. There's no coffee pots in the rooms, as most places have. There's no water in the machines on each floor. After checking out on the TV and leaving our keys inside, we realized we forgot something. We used the house phone to reach someone who could help us. After being transferred 5 times, I finally reached security. I'm not sure if I woke someone up, but when I told them my name, they came back with something I have no idea what they were saying my name was. Security did arrive within 5 minutes, which we appreciated. However, when I was transferred to the front desk, they should have contacted security. I am a local and like Sunset Station, but their service is lacking.

Yelp
Sunset Station's sports book is a vibrant spot where the energy is palpable. The spacious, modern setup is comfortable and welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the action. The bar area is a standout, with its unique colored glass and clean, stylish design, adding to the overall ambiance. What really made the visit special was Daniel, an exceptional employee who took the time to explain the betting process. His friendly, knowledgeable service transformed what could have been a routine experience into something memorable. Though I didn't sample the food this time, the variety of dining options, including a world-famous seafood spot, gives me plenty of reasons to return. Sunset Station's sports book isn't just about placing bets--it's about enjoying the entire experience, from the atmosphere to the service. I'll definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to watch the game and place a bet.

Yelp
Prepaid for 6 days and a flight delay due from Hurricane Debby in NC caused a next day check in, and was told they canceled my reservations and wasn't refunding any of my money due to POLICY. And as I leave they said good luck finding anywhere to go because all hotels were all booked due to 3 large events. This is bad business, after I had prepaid, This is a warning if you don't check in on the day. Make sure you ask for hotel management & don't take the word of a receptionist. Demand a refund and don't stop until you get your money back!

Yelp
This place was great, we got a good deal here. Good location, very clean, good service, good staff excellent options for eating, shopping, both inside and out. A last minute reunion led us here and it didn't disappoint. I missed a comp window at Red rock so I was really skeptical being so far out in Henderson. I am extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this property and our room. Believe me when I say I CHECK for cleanliness. I needed a few things Walmart was conveniently located across the way. I also needed a last minute manicure I found a nail salon there also. I was so comfortable here and lucky! I took a straight shot for the pool and it is probably the least favorite thing I didn't see umbrellas, there was no shade but they do offer cabanas. It was also 110 outside so it was an easy pass. The bartender at the pool was really cool. Back inside, great options for everything from coffee ( Hello Starbucks!) to a steak dinner. I especially enjoyed the walk through. I love the restaurant options friendly for any food budget. The oyster bar was the best looking of all the ones I've visited. Super cool. I added a video. This place is great for both family fun, adult fun and business types. I will be back again definitely. -Pool area. Tiny bar, no umbrellas.

Yelp
my husband and I used to go to the new Sports Bar on our date night after dinner and it was fine after a few times we realized how rude and insulting the bartenders were, asking us to get up since we we're not currently playing and my husband had not even finished his beer. I did play a little bit. paying customers and locals too. Never recommending this place again, there are plenty of other sports bars that treat their cus better.

Yelp
This is specifically for the sports book which was recently remodeled and esthectically is spectacular. However, this place fails too impress. Don't expect a server unless you are sitting in the horse racing view section.....elsewhere, they were non-existent. Walk to the bar where you have to close out every order when you order. There is no food service in the book, your only choices are Fatburger, Subway (low grade dog food) and Sbarro but you have to go to the food court. Note to management...try a taco and hot dog stand close by during Saturday and Sunday football. I guess they know their customer and it definetly scrapes the bottom of the barrel. Total dregs walking around. The bar is what you would expect and the drink prices are reasonable. Again, they know their customer. The VIP section seating for Chairman members is a joke, no one sitting in those comfy seats and security guards keeping the riff raff from enjoying a great viewing experience. No hosts wondering around trolling for players. The one Sunset employee who looked like a host answered "no" and kept walking when I asked if a host was available. The opening of the Yardhouse will certainly upgrade the food selection but I was hoping for a home for football season. This ain't it.

Yelp
Decided to stay here while in town for business and it's definitely the biggest hotel in the town of Henderson and the big plus was all the shopping and food choices right across the streets including a White Castle which was nice, overall the hotel was clean and comfortable plenty of gaming inside of your into that and some great restaurants located inside the hotel . They also have a 72 lane bowling alley inside as well if you interested , I would say the only downfall would be no Ian charging at all in the room which was odd luckily I had a plug in charger so overall definitely a nice place to say.

Yelp
This past Monday, I revisited Sunset Station Casino in Henderson. I was just about done with my regular IV Drip Treatment, and felt like walking past memory lane. Use to stay here regularly on business either for one night or two short nights at a time. Pretty much a full service hotel. There is only one tower, updated hotel rooms were very spacious for a Deluxe Room. Fairly large size bathroom too, it included a wide bathroom counter. But the water pressure in the shower was super hard, it was one of those water saving shower faucets, was never a fan of it. Either you'd get one King or two Queen sized beds. Mini-refrigerator, TV, closet, and high ceilings. Aside from that, the pool was huge, I don't recall a Spa or Salon. The Fitness Center was only good for cardio, free guest parking, one of the largest and best casino to gamble because all Station Casinos were known for that. Several eateries surrounding the Casino, including the popular Oyster Bar, an AYCE Buffet, a 24 hour diner with really affordable meals, Starbucks, Panda Express, Subway and more all without having to exit the premises to walk across the street to Galleria Mall. Could of, should of, would of gone bowling or watched movies at the IMAX Theater, but never came around to it. Only good memories here at The Sunset.

Yelp
Soooo much smoke!!!! They pump so much air freshener in the casino it burns my eyes and makes it hard to breath. Well let's just say they suck. Don't believe they will treat you like family unless they are they type of family to leave you out on the street, just like they did me. I used to be an employee here and they treated me alright so I was like" let's stay here for our trip out to Vegas. I came all the way from Chicago. The thing is I booked my flight In October and rooms were available. When I got here they told me the were overbooked and pretty much an OH well, we don't care attitude and there is nothing they can do and left me without any options as all the hotels were booked due to the rodeo and basketball. Stay away from here as they will leave you with no options and are heartless. Poor customer service and untrustworthy. BEWARE you will lose your money in every department.

Yelp
Are you kidding me?!?! Be sure to take your SUNGLASSES into the sports book. Yikes!! Whoever decided all that white in the slot area next to the lights from that sports bar area - all their taste is in their mouth! They are ruining the Sunset gambling area. What made the Sunset a local favorite was the decor. So many other casinos to choose from. None as cool on the inside. As a local that regularly goes to a movie, buy the ticket and spend about 20 bucks at consssions stand, then go to dinner at one of your restaurants plus maybe a look and purchase in the gift store. A few bucks in a few slots by my son. I tend to want to bet on sports. My family have been loyal and now you are going to send us elsewhere. Truly a shame. I haven't seen anything so loud and ugly. STOP now before u ruin the whole property.

Yelp
THIS IS FOR THE NEW SPORTSBOOK-So this place is gorgeous it has so much potential just like the one at Durango. We just went for a Celtics game about 2 weeks ago, nobody could answer me on what the minimums for the seating areas were, the Bartenders had no idea what was going on.They got a manager, he had no idea what was going on. There was also no cocktail server in there which is crazy to me, if you're going to open a place Like this you really need to be prepared from the beginning. We sat at an area that said Reserved anyway, because no one wanted to help us and then a security guard came over and said you know there's a minimum to sit here.I said yeah, I've been trying to figure out what that is.I'm happy to pay it. Apparently the front area where they do.The bettng saw us earlier and said don't worry about paying and we could just sit, but we ended up going to get our drinks from the bar the whole time. Not a good start, and we love that casino we are locals, and I am a manager at the Wynn

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times to watch bands perform. This hotel is located off the main strip and they offer cheaper food prices and drink prices. There's always something going on here and it's nice to get away from the main hustle and bustle of the strip from time to time

Yelp
They took my review off so I am going to write my experience again. I can go to any restaurants in America and spend as little as $25 or less and get free TAP water with ice anytime but spending hundreds a day in sports betting and on weekends every Sundays I bet on sports and went to club Madrid which is free and only a few people there watching football in a not well lit room with a few screen projectors. Anyways, I asked for 1 cup of tap water and ice then bartender tells me it's $3 and management instructed not to give our free tap water. Sunset needs to get off their high horse because locals like myself will take our business elsewhere

Yelp
Staying here for work over the weekend. When I got back to room last night my key card didnt work. When I called down from my cellphone they said theyd send someone to let me in. 5 minutes later two security guards show up accusing me of trying to break in and that Im not allowed up here. Easily strangest hotel experience of my life. Even after I showed them my room key they escorted me on either side down to the front desk, who then cleared it up. No apology, no comps, acted like they couldnt care less.

Yelp
Everything!! I stay here monthly. Why? Because of the employees at the reception, restaurants, and tables! Top notch staff. The atmosphere n vibe are always great. Low table minimum to high limit. They have it all!! Go enjoy a day or night of gambling, eating, or just watching sports at the Sportsbook. Always a fun time!!

Yelp
Good hotel I always come here when I say in vegas wish it was closer to the strip and had a poker room but still good Also the oyster bar here doesn't have a 3 hour wait
