Sunset Strip Comedy & Entertainment

Great time at the Sunset Strip! Came out for my bachelor party in May and the club was great. The staff is other comedians who I was familiar with, so it was cool to talk with them. You have the great Yonder Wizard at the door, and he is a nice guy and talked with us for a bit. Just a super welcoming establishment and atmosphere at Sunset Strip. I plan to be back anytime I make my way to Austin!

Literally such a nice time every time! The prices are definitely live event pricing which is always a bit of a bummer but I got charged for the coke in my rum and coke at the mothership so that has made me at least appreciate the standard bar pricing at least here. The bathrooms are always clean and the seating is comfortable but basic. The shows are generally well choreographed and excellent value for the show received. I will say that every single employee I have encountered has been friendly, diligent, and well intentioned.

Mixed feelings on this place. Line up was good, lots of familiar faces from Kill Tony such as Timmy No Brakes, Redban, Hans Kim, Martin Phillips and Ari Matti. What threw us off was us being hounded literally every 2 minutes by the overweight bald guy over the 2 drink minimum, even though we only wanted water near the bathrooms, as well as disruptive audience members (5 drunk women) and the staff not saying a word to them. There was one guy laughing too hard supposedly, and he got a stern talking to by staff causing a scene. Makes no sense whatsoever and he was visibly embarrassed. Also, terribly uncomfortable seats and cheap old tiny tables with barely any room to put your drinks on. Cool lineup, but staff isn’t great. I personally wouldn’t return.

Comedians were great and staff were helpful. Drinks were a little pricey but not too big of a deal just something to be mindful of when you’re there. Overall good show. We would definitely go again.

We loved our visit. Seating was weird. I feel like the tables should separate customers. Lol. But there were a ton of Kill Tony bucket pulls and Fiona Cauley. It was great. Exactly what we expected. Redban has done a great job. I highly recommend. Drinks were also reasonably priced. We are totally going back. If you're visiting Austin for the comedy scene, you need to add this to the top of your list of things to do. Cheers.

Took my husband to see Scuffed realtor for his bday. Club was pretty well organized and timely with tickets, ID, screening and seating. Service folks for drinks were nice and drink prices were quite fair for a comedy club in the most touristy part of an overpriced city. Set up inside is pretty casual. Husband loved the show, crowd was good. No complaints. Not sure what others have to gripe about.

We went for the Valentine's day 6:00 show. Half of the comedians seemed to be intoxicated on something besides alcohol. They weren't funny. Quinn (our server) was also a comedian and we liked her and the guy after her were funny and that's about it. It seemed as though they took volunteers from the staff to throw up on stage. I laughed more so to make the comedians feel better. If I would've paid more then $20 I probably would've asked for my money back. Terrible time 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Also there is already gratuity on the check and they didn't tell us. So we tipped on top.

We had a blast at the showcase! It was a lineup of awesome comedians. Justin was very attentive as our service professional, he then did a set and crushed. Overall, great experience and even saw a rat running around on the ceiling, which wasn't as high as you would think. Can't wait to visit again!
