Sunshine Dumpling House

Sunshine Dumping is a warm and welcoming place to eat. The service is very efficient and conscientious, and they work hard to make you feel at home. I highly recommend the Mixed Three Dumpling Special, which is great value. I look forward to returning to try more of Sunshine’s delicious food.

The food is amazing, the dumplings with fresh ingredients makes them delicious, the vege dumpling is 10/10 🤗😘. Plus, the service is fast, friendly and very kind. They always keep an eye on us. Besides, Elise is such a nice owner there, she always knows how to make customers happy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

High quality food with great service in our experience. We did pick up and food was ready as we arrived. The staff were friendly and generous, and the decorum (we loved the community blackboards!) made us want to dine in next time. Most importantly the food was delicious, dumplings selections were excellent and cooked to perfection, other highlights include the bean curd rolls, fried chicken and hot and sour soup.

I recently had lunch with a friend at the Sunshine Dumpling House on Monkland Avenue in NDG, Montreal. For starters we had the hot and sour soup, which was excellent, followed by spring rolls, and they were very good as well. We then ordered a mixture of different types of dumplings, some fried and some steamed. The fried dumplings were a bit more flavorful, perhaps because of their seared bottoms. The décor of this restaurant is a little dated, but the service was excellent. My impression was that this is a restaurant really trying to please its customers. It’s certainly worth a try if you’re ever visiting the Monkland Village in Montreal.

I don't understand how it gets so high reviews. Food is stale , bland and delivery was so long that it was cold and all the dumpling fused together making it like loaf of dumplings

HORRIBLE SERVICE UPDATE REVIEW Disgusting service Only my 2nd time going to this restaurant. After over 1hr30 I still didn’t get my food. A table who came after me they received their food, appetizers, and paid even before I got my main course( in less than 40 min they were in and out of the restaurant) . I understand it was a busy night, but they could have warned me that the kitchen is overwhelmed with orders when I came in. I will definitely not be going back.

The food is amazing. The portions are really good size. We got the pork green onion dumplings, bbq pork, a miso and hot sour soup. Everything was great. We got served by a sweet lady and the atmosphere is calm with peaceful piano music playing on the background. I would come here again.

A charming dumpling shop with a laid-back atmosphere. The fried chicken appetizer is delicious; the pork shrimp w/ green onion dumplings are excellent. Service is prompt and impeccably friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
