Suomenlinna Brewery

We booked a table on Valentines Day, however the restaurant was not busy. We had the set menu, one for a meat eater the other for a vegetarian. The food was superb, beautifully presented and delicious. Service was exemplary. Highly recommended! Just make sure you check ferry times.

Nice restaurant. They also have a brewery and selection of beers available on tap. Beer price in year 2024 - 10 EUR for 0.5 beer.

Nice place with fantastic food. A bit confusing at first (language issue) as a near by place had a buffet. Soon as we said we wanted ala cart all was good, Chef 3 course meal (am now a huge fan of raindeer) with a beer was so much food. Thank God you can wander the fort and island to work it off. Just wish I'd gone back to sample for of the beer offerings

Had a team day there, including breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee. Loved the old architecture and atmosphere. The staff was also most pleasant. Food was simple and good. Would give the place another try for food + beverage with friends.

Super calm and cozy restaurant with really good vibes! We went to have lunch there today because it was recommanded to us and it was delicious! I had one of the beer they brew right on the island and it was light and fruity, for the main course I had the reindeer and it was tender and well cooked! With carrots and potatoes, it was perfectly sized! The amount of meat is generous and you would want to lick the plate because the sauce is sooooo delicious! I couldn't take desert after that! You can go without hesitation! Plus, they speak really well english 👍

The food was great, we enjoyed a buffet setting with a big group of 50 people. The restaurant itself looks a bit unorganized and could use a Finishing touch ;). The terrace in the sun was nice, a pity that they parked the car between the tables.

An idyllic and neat brewery restaurant in the structures of the old sea fortress. They have a selection of their own beers and the location is very conveniently near the ferry harbour. Also a terrace during summertime.

This was the highlight of our trip to Suomenlinna. The drinks were amazingly delicious, some of the best beer I've ever had! Also they had complimentary bread and butter which were so delicious I can't even describe it. We were able to have our drinks outside on a little patio, which was beautifully arranged, and we met a fun seagull friend. This place was great!!

Taking a ferry trip to an island almost exclusively for tourists did not promise to yield great food and beverages, but this place wildly exceeded expectations. It's nothing overly fancy inside, but the staff made us feel right at home. The menu is full of Finnish delights; do try the game platter (the bear salami is unique). We got a sampler of the beer, all of which we enjoyed. If you need a change of scenery while in Helsinki, take a short ride over here and work up an appetite walking the island.

We had dinner at the Brewery terrace. My Swiss friend got to taste a reindeer meal, which he said, was amazingly good. Meat well done and soft. I had the mushroom risotto, which was excellent also. Food was good but quite expensive. Reindeer 29€. Also drinks, beer & a glass of wine, were pricey. Service was very friendly from one person and quite rude from an another.
