20 Best Tapas Bars in Barcelona, From Old-School Dives to the Avant Garde | Condé Nast Traveler
"The more casual, affordable sibling of Bar Brutal, this light-filled, minimalist spot with a bright orange bar and exposed brick brings Bar Brutal’s natural-wine cred to a tapas-friendly format; the menu mixes no-frills plates like fried calamari, anchovies and grilled mackerel with more complex dishes such as tender veal sweetbreads cooked in a delicate chicken and citrus jus." - Isabelle Kliger
Amazing selection of wines and great food. 1 page menu doesn’t look big but most of the dishes is to die for. Exceptional mackerel and sweetbreads!

Super nice restaurant / wine bar situated at a small and calm square in Barcelona. We only had a glass and a plate to share, - fried zucchini flowers, and it did not disappoint ! Such a cool place and good natural wine.

Service great and amazing! 10/10
Food is okay. Nothing to be blown away from, but on the expensive side. Portion wise also quite small what you pay for it.
Atmosphere, I prefer bar brutal. To sober and not super cozy.

What else than 5* can I give...
If you combine great food, freshly sourced from the neighboring market, and friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff, you deserve the maximum score.
Great to see that after just 2 weeks, they are we integrated already in the community with a lot of locals passing by.
Bar Brutal does it again. They see me coming back here more often!

My wife and I visited on a Friday night while on a long weekend in Barcelona. This place was the stand out find of the whole trip. The staff are all absolutely amazing: warm, kind and friendly - what more can you ask for? The manager, David, spent 11 years in Scotland and has brought his passion for single malt whiskey back with him to this establishment. I am still learning about single malt whiskey and David made time to give me some new ones to try out (on the house). What a lovely touch from an absolute gentleman. There was a female colleague of his whose name I did not get (forgive me) and she was especially kind to us and needs calling out too. I heartily recommend Bar Super and wish them every success. Thanks guys for an amazing time!
