Super Bear IGA Supermarket

Great store, the manager is very unfriendly. I notice the about 70% of the workers seem UN happy and in friendly… Well organized over all but Super Bear needs to work on customer service and at least attempt to smile and be friendly.

I am still ruminating over spending $8 on two coconuts that both turned out to be rotten. The man ringing up my groceries was also weirdly dismissive and miserable, but I don't really blame him. I tried to be positive during the interaction. They have a decent Asian imports aisle and I was able to get things I hadn't been able to find in other grocery stores, but that would be the only reason I'd return.

Three different items were molding, it was the same trip. I wouldn’t get fresh produce, bread, or meat here, but I would go here for snacks. A great variety of sweets.

i really like "Super Bear" i do not live close i do show-up There is a wonderfully Long ❄️ Drink isle So very meny "choices" i love it! i purchase the best Smoked salmon spread Crab 🦀 mixed 🐟 spread and Also: jalapeno cheese spread Allways on time Allways delicious 😋 i in i out, most of the time. Wen store busy i always meet some interesting person and visit 4A short . Much cheaper than instacart to order grocery from this place, pay their $15 service fee to deliver to the seaplane, and then pay the freight for the seaplane to deliver to Hoonah. A pretty good selection a variety of fruits vegetables meats and dry goods.

This review is 💯% about the grilled burrito bar. It's hard to find tinga chicken down states let alone in AK, and this is great tinga. The regular one is huge. Can't imagine being able for a jumbo in one sitting. There aren't instructions or a step by step of fillings so you need to be listening to the options. I like the full service Mexican restaurants in Juneau, but this is the best place for standalone burritos.
