Had lunch here and the food is pretty good. The chicken I got came right off the grill so it was super fresh, really tender and juicy with crispy skin. The green spicy sauce I also really liked, highly recommended. I also had their fried rice which was surprisingly good, which I had more of it.

Google
5+ Are you kidding me?!?! Absolutely love charcoal chicken. This place was slammed busy, and they got everyone in and out smoothly. The police, fire, ambulance, and construction workers were all hitting this place, so you know it's good!

Google
Excellent chicken, especially the dark meat. Disappointing sides. A friend got the fried rice and yucca fries which were very dry and flavorless. I got the coleslaw and mashed potatoes which were decent. You can try to ask for just dark meat and they’ll sometimes do it for you. The fact that I’m giving this 4 stars should show how good the chicken is!

Google
This place is pretty good. About the food, it's super delicious. The flavor is very original. It always maintains its flavor and is also very affordable. We bring our guests who visit us and they leave with a very good impression and good comments. Keep going.

Google
Service: 6.5/10 - pretty slow and not everything comes out at once if you order anything under than 1/2 or 1/4 chicken Vibe: 6.5/10 - clean, but nothing special Value: 7.5/10 - a good deal, but not as good as other Peruvian chicken in the DMV 1/4 chicken: 7/10 Lomo saltado: 7.5/10 Good, but not my fave in the DMV! Overall: 7/10 (3.5/5)

Google
I’ve been coming to this place with my family for years, it’s a staple. We always get the Peruvian Chicken (great as always), but I decided to get the whole fish recently. AMAZING! Great flavor and crunch. Of course, the plantains were awesome too. The only thing was that the fish had quite a few bones, but at the same time that means it is fresh, so no problem for me :)

Google
The chicken here is unmatched, the portions are huge, the sauce is fantastic. If I lived in the area I would go every week!!

Google
Flavorful food, from the chicken to each and every side, everything is delicious! Prices are low considering location and the serving size!! This place never disappoints, and service is very good too!!

Yelp
I don't know what they inject into their chicken here but I'm not sure I want to know, because anything this delicious cannot be good for me. Lots of tables to sit at and everyone was very nice. My party of 7 people came in about 1.5 hours before closing time and had a great experience. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Great place for quick, hot and fresh proven. All of the sides are delicious. We really enjoy the chicken and the salad with lots of dressing. The plantains aren't delightful. The black beans are tasty. All in all it is a great place to grab some quick food or to bring home a family dinner.

Yelp
SO DAMN GOOOOOD. service is so fast that even if there's a long line, you'll get your food within 5 minutes. food itself is always top tier and for the price, you really are getting the best bang for your buck. i just wish i lived closer so i can come more often

Yelp
Great great deal for Peruvian chicken in the area! We got the whole chicken for about $25 with two sides of plantains and yucca. They really load you up with the yucca btw. Some of the white meat was a bit dry but the dark meats were good. The spices on the chicken pack a lot of flavor but were a bit salty. Plantains were phenomenal and yucca were crispy but a little dry. All in all, it was a great meal that I really enjoyed and I'll be stopping back if I'm craving it again. Split the meal with one other person and had enough for one small lunch the next day.

Yelp
Fireeeeeee. Just amazing and perfect. We got the lomo saltado and 1/4 dark with fried rice and yucca. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend these dishes! We got delivered via uber eats and it was perfectly warm upon arrival. Super chicken is always so reliable for peruvian food.

Yelp
Gratuity is automatically getting charged on takeouts, cannot understand you see one bill and get charged different amount on your Credit Card, I know 18% is small amount no one will see, but to be dishonest and just automatically charge it to customers accounts

Yelp
Awesome food. we go with kids. We go without kids. Love it. We used super chicken to cater a party for our house for 20 people and they loved it too. Cheap but delicious

Yelp
Some of the best Peruvian chicken I've ever had! It's always hot and fresh. All the sides are great. Travels well for takeout too. The staff are quick and efficient. I haven't tried any of the other entrees yet.

Yelp
My go-to Peruvian chicken spot! Flavorful crispy juicy chicken and I usually choose the yucca fries and vegetables as my sides in the half chicken combo. It's great value for your buck as the portion is great and usually I eat it for two meals!

Yelp
My wife and I came here for an early lunch and we were surprised about how busy they were at this hour. I had actually been here one time before and I enjoyed it then. After spending a moment checking out their menu board. I had decided to get the carne asada which is basically grilled steak that is seasoned with their Peruvian spices. It also included a side order of fries and a small salad. She went for the polo saltado that is a chicken stir fry that has a bunch of vegetables like onions, tomatoes and cilantro. For drinks. I got a bottled water, and she ordered the horchata. I love horchatas and zi was envious of her. There were about four employees who were working behind the counter and in the kitchen, so our orders were prepared fast. The interior of the restaurant is nice and we found a nice spot next to the window. My carne asada was super delicious and my wife also gave high marks for the chicken stir fry meal. We definitely plan on returning here!

Yelp
I'm not someone who's had a lot of Peruvian chicken during my life, but I know that Super Chicken at least makes chicken that is bussin. Super Chicken isn't a super fancy place - it's more of a fast casual place that has seating but no servers. That's not what you come here for, though - it's the chicken. I'd personally recommend getting dark meat, which is actually cheaper than the white meat. The chicken is seasoned extremely well, never overcooked, and overall slaps. You also get two sides - and you have plenty of choices here. You can go with yuca, fried rice, regular rice, salad, and so many other options. I personally go with the regular rice and chickpeas, which is phenomenal. The yuca is also awesome. Lastly, the sauce. They've got a yellow savory sauce and a green spicy sauce. They are both phenomenal and add so much to the experience. Unfortunately, you have to pay if you want extra sauce.

Yelp
I always get Peruvian chicken when I'm in DC area. The half chicken was good with plenty of side options, including yummy plantains. The other place in Virginia Square is slightly better, but the sides are primarily just rice and fries.

Yelp
Best charcoal chicken and plantains in the DMV in my opinion. Even for a chain this place is amazing and super clean! They clean tables after every costumer. So yummy and delicious!

Yelp
I have been craving Peruvian chicken for the past couple of days and after a day of holiday shopping this really hit the spot. When you walk in restaurant, you get greeted with the delicious smell of chickens roasting over the charcoals. The menu is simple and not too extensive, which I prefer. We got a family special #2 which was a whole chicken, and 4 side orders. We got 2 sides of yuca, black beans and Plantains. just note a sides of plantains cost .75 cents on top of your meal. The staff were all super friendly. You know a place is good when even during non-peak hours there is still a line. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The plantain and the beans were as expected, but the yuca really hits the spot. It was just freshly fried and fluffy inside. If I had to nitpick, the yellow sauce was a little bland and thick. Also, some of the tables were a little dirty. Overall, it's a good meal. This hits the spot and you will walk away happy and full.

Yelp
A super find right next to the Greensboro Silver Line Metro stop, as it was my first time at one of their fast casual restaurants. The line was long when I arrived, but the employees were efficient and courteous to all as they worked the line down. It seemed as though that those in line were repeat customers from their ability to quickly provide orders with no questions. I ordered a chicken sub sandwich that was quite delicious and decided to splurge, for an extra $1.00, and substitute fried rice in lieu of fries. A note about sandwich and wrap orders, these are not as quickly ready to go as the primary chicken meals. It wasn't a huge wait and either way you will be in and out fairly quickly if taking your order to go, especially if getting one of the chicken platter meals. I was quite impressed at how clean they kept the restaurant, as they had someone wiping down tables as soon as dine-in customers would leave and the bathroom was well kept. Hopefully there will be more Super Chicken locations popping up throughout the DMV in the future, as I think they have less than a handful presently.

Yelp
This place slaps. Ordered a whole chicken combo, which came with two sides- I got the yuca fries and salad. The worker piled on the yuca fries, which was great. The restaurant is kept clean, they take an effort to upkeep the dining areas. One thing I would change, would be to decrease the amount of salt in the chicken. The skin was pretty salty, a bit too much for me.

Yelp
Nothing is more debated than Peruvian Chicken. I was in the area and wanted to give this place a go. I've heard some state that this is the best Peruvian chicken in the area. It was good. Maybe better than good, but not the best. El Pollo Rico, Sardi's, the list goes on of other Peruvian Chicken spots that have my heart so the competition is fierce. If you're in the Tysons Corner area, Super Chicken is still a solid choice to satisfy your appetite.

Yelp
I first tried Super Chicken years ago and it absolutely WOWed me. Beyond excited to grab it again tonight for dinner, I'm happy to report that the chicken was just as good as I remembered. I ordered a Family Special #2, which came with a whole chicken and four sides. First off, the portions were MASSIVE. Like unless Nandos is being cheap and giving me a quarter chicken when I ordered a half, this has got to be at least two chickens. But I'm not complaining, I love my chicken. Taste wise, the chicken is oh so juicy, maybe even the juiciest chicken I've ever had. It's flavorful without being too salty and the yellow and green sauces on the side pair perfectly. For sides, I ordered corn on the cob, fries, pasta salad, and coleslaw. Everything was super yummy. The portions of fries was also very big. Price wise, the meal cost around $40 but this was beyond plenty to feed my entire family for not just tonight's dinner but probably also for part of our lunch tomorrow. I remember I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first tried it a few years back but this has got to be one of my, and my family's, favorite restaurants in northern Virginia. The super juicy chicken is definitely a must-try!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, great service, great price. If you can't wait, you can even call ahead and they'll have your chicken ready for pick up as soon as you arrive.
google avatar

Justin N.

Yelp
So yummy! Good Peruvian chicken, yucca fries, and plantains in the area for a decent price! My go-to order is the 1/2 dark with two sides. The yellow sauce is so good. I could take a bath in it.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me so long to eat here. My friend and I had some errands to run and decided eating first would be best. Although there a a few locations, they said this was the best one. Loved that parking is a breeze; I'm very anti-complicated parking. There were plenty of seating and the music was at the perfect volume. You can talk with people without having to shout. I ended up getting half a chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and the pasta salad. You really get a lot which I love. The price to me was perfection for the amount of food you get. And the staff were all very kind. I really loved my food, however my friend told me it's better during the day. Not that the food was bad, but they've eaten there more often so I guess they know timing. If evening quality was already a good experience for me, I can't even imagine how delicious their food is lunch time when it's super fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Crispy skin Peruvian chicken was very well marinated. Yuca fries and plantains were also delicious. Fried rice was okay, a bit dry. Service was very friendly.

Yelp
4.5 Tried Super Chicken after several years and now two toddlers. We enjoyed the chicken a lot, and it's always better nice and hot. If you are ordering there go to the front and left to start your order with your choice in chicken and then sides. You can see what they have and we got yucca, black beans, white fried rice and corn on the cob. The yucca was ok- some were too thick and dry. There is a place we love with fried yucca so we will still try it and probably get the fried plantains which looked very good. Other sides are ok. The fountain drinks were unfortunately missing a few sodas and the one we got was flat (kids didn't notice). Covid times there's plenty of separation but the tables were not clean so we cleaned it off ourselves, which is ok for fast casual but had to go to bathroom to get wet napkins. But as far as Peruvian chicken it's very good and if we lived closer would be in our regular rotation for take out as it is affordable for a family and can satisfy many tastes.

Yelp
Super Chicken Tysons is the gold standard for peruvian chicken in NoVA. I've tried several spots around the area and they are by far the most consistently great peruvian chicken joint. I typically ask for the whole chicken with fries, salad (with onions), and fried brown rice. I wish they'd give 8 sauces instead of 6, but oh well. On weekends they serve ceviche, of which I'm a fan of serving as an appetizer to a group of 3-5. The ceviche is also high grade and supercedes that of other places that specialize in seafood/peruvian cuisine. They someimes run out of ceviche if you walk in late afternoon so try to show up at noon-2pm. All in all, I've been coming for years and will continue to come as long as they keep delivering.

Yelp
This is one of the top chicken spots in NOVA - I may list it as the top spot currently. Had food from here many times and they have outstanding consistency for chicken as well as the side dish. With a good amount of competition throughout NOVA - this is the top spot for me.

Michael P.

Yelp
Chicken - very good! Price - very high for what it is! Chicken - very little! Honey, who shrunk the chicken? Conclusion - probably will eat someplace else. I use to love this place
google avatar

Yelp
Got a WHOLE chicken from Super Chicken and two sides for only $20! For sides, we got fries and plantains. Family meals are also available that include drinks or extra sides. One thing that I really liked was that they don't skimp on the sides! We got fries and plantains, and both containers write filled to the brim. My favorite were the plantains, which do come with an extra +1 charge. Probably enough to feed 3-4 people, since this lasted my bf and I a couple meals (especially with all the sides)! The chicken was super juicy and tender and extremely flavorful. I found that each piece was covered in delicious spices!! However at some parts, I felt like the seasoning was a little too strong and salty, and I basically just removed the skin to resolve this. This was mainly the underside m. Overall pretty affordable and curbed my Peruvian chicken cravings. Also, really enjoyed the sauces sauces (especially the green one)!

Yelp
Another great Super Chicken spot in the DMV! The half chicken I had today was smaller than the one I had previously at a different location, but I still ended up stuffed on it, plantains, coleslaw, and yucca from my wife's plate. Everything tasted great and service was very friendly. I am very much onboard the Super Chicken train, and I suggest you be as well.
google avatar

Shawn B.

Yelp
OMG! Best Peruvian chicken I have ever tried in the DMV, hands down. So flavorful. I was out in Virginia and decided to stop at this place since it's not too close to where I live in DC. I ordered one chicken and it came with 2 sides for about $20. As I waited in line I ended up getting an additional chicken to have as leftovers. The staff was so welcoming and also was mindful about the freshness of the food. The service dropped more plantains and asked me if I could wait 5 minutes for new ones. I really enjoyed this flavorful food and would suggest you to give this place a try. They don't miss.
google avatar

Yelp
Fast, great flavor, great Peruvian deal Fantastic service Highly recommend if you are around the area

Yelp
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is Super Chicken! A new Peruvian chicken restaurant in Vienna, Virginia. These people know how to cook their birds. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We got yucca, fried rice, and plantains for our sides. Each side dish was delicious and tasty. The yucca was hot and crisp. The plantains were sweet and tender. The fried rice was perfectly cooked. Ordering and getting in and out of the restaurant was a breeze. So, the next time you are looking for a superhero dinner, then head on over to Super Chicken.
google avatar

Muthana A.

Yelp
Great tasting food at a great price. If you're in Tyson's and you want some good cheap food, this is the place to go to. Also, would definitely recommend getting the chicken and steak sub if you're coming here.
google avatar

Lulu P.

Yelp
Super chicken is one of my fav Peruvian chicken spots in the area. I typically order the same meal. 1/4 chicken with yuca and fried plantain with an extra side of onion salad and a large cup of passion fruit. Chicken is always moist, well seasoned and tender. Yuca is a bit dry and plantains are plantains... can never go wrong frying em, the greasier the better. I love the onion salad, it's nothing but thinly sliced raw onions with diced tomatoes, herbs and a lemon dressing. But surprisingly very tasty and the freshness adds balance to the rest of the meal. Although I left with an appetite extremely sated, my pocket was complaining. Close to 20 for lunch was a bit much for my daily budget so I try not to make a pit stop often.
google avatar

Manool F.

Yelp
Rotisserie Peruvian chicken is delicious but price has gone up no longer making it a cheap meal. I wish they had more vegetable options as sides. Overall it's still pretty tasty.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
I'd say that every 4 out of the 5 times I go to this restaurant, the food is good and consistent. 1 out of the 5 times I might get some bad undercooked, bloody chicken or overcooked dry.
google avatar

Ngoc T.

Yelp
The best Peruvian chicken in the area! I've been to this place for years, and the quality is still great. Delicious chicken with great value for your money. The chicken skin and meat is marinated well so it's not bland. The meat is not overly dried and the seasoning is always on point. The sides are all delicious. I always go for the plantains and the pasta salad. I have other friends trying other sides and they really liked it. 10/10 for the peruvian chicken!!
google avatar

Charles V.

Yelp
Let's get right to it. Great Peruvian Chicken at an affordable price. I have been coming here for years and the food has been consistently great. The chicken has always been moist and tender. And they provide a variety of sides for you to choose from (which in my case is great since I have a large and picky family). And with COVID, they have elevated their game by introducing a mobile app to order food. And for those looking for a deal, after you download the app and register, you will get email notifications with discount codes.
google avatar

Amirah A.

Yelp
Great no frills Peruvian chicken option. Lines go by quick and the chicken is cut to order. We ordered a whole chicken with yuca and regular french fries, salad and fried rice. The chicken was flavorful and the dipping sauces were perfect. Fries were fresh and soft. There was some seating available inside, and the prices were decent. Overall a great option for your chicken. My main complaint: not a huge fan of the fried rice - felt there was too much pepper and needed more seasoning. Also, we ordered a whole chicken and only recieved enough sauces for 2 servings. When we asked for more, there was a charge. I think the amount of sauces you get should be a accurate ratio of the chicken you buy. Otherwise, great option!
google avatar

Henry F.

Yelp
Super Chicken is our go-to peruvian chicken place in the area. $20 for a whole chicken and two sides. Chicken has always been super flavorful and juicy. For sides, we usually get either the platanos, salads or cole slaw. Pretty good as well! Plenty of parking in the plaza and service has always been friendly. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Luong T.

Yelp
Delicious fall off the bone chicken. I loved every part of it. I got the dark special which consist of 1/2 chicken (dark meat), with two sides. It only costed 12 dollars which is absurdly cheap for what you're getting. They are generous with the fried rice so I recommend getting that as a source of carbs. The service was also very quick, and I left with my food in under 3 minutes. Highly recommend visiting this place for takeout.
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
I am absolutely OBSESSED with Peruvian chicken and Super Chicken makes it even harder to break that addiction. Their chicken is so moist and soft and full of flavor ‍ the skin is perfectly crispy. I love plantains and theirs were delectable and the fried rice?? Whewww ‍ I ate so much I was breathing hard as hell trying to catch my breath. They even gave me extra sauce!! I usually have to beg and grovel at other restaurants for extra sauce but they just gave it to me. I'll be seeing y'all again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Super Chicken = Super Clean. No longer your average Peruvian Chicken establishment, hole-in-the-wall, tasty-yet-not-so-clean-looking place; no no, here you will find a pretty aesthetically pleasing wall that says "Super Chicken" on it, overlayed on some rustic looking laminate-flooring panels (extra HGTV). Tables have a nice wooden-tan feel that occasionally get dirty, but they seem to come around every once in a while to clean them and wipe them down. Now to the import, the chicken, the sauces, the yucca. Chicken: Girl (or boy), you know they've done something right when that chicken breast is moist and succulent, just how God intended. Well seasoned like a Peruvian chicken should, and a nice hint of smokiness that appeals directly to that lumber-sexual man in me, hiding, somewhere. Wait, what?? Sauces: Your standard affair, well done. The green sauce could be a little more spicy, but the consistency was good. I hate, absolutely loathe, when that green sauce is drippy like that leaky faucet that you just want to shut up. The yellow sauce was on the thicker side, but taste still on point. Yucca: When it's fresh out-a-duh-fryer, it's like all the stars in universe aligned and yuccas are exploding in your brain. It's just that good. That said, I don't think I got freshly fried yuccas, as they were just sitting there in their pan, but definitely still passed the bar for me. Nice crisp texture on the outside, maybe a subtle buttery taste, and then just that *give* as you bite down. Some of the larger pieces were a bit more dry. All that said, price-wise it is a little on the higher end, maybe a dollar or so. It's hard to complain though, as you're getting top notch. TL;DR: Probably the best Peruvian Chicken in the area. If you're within 5 miles of this place, go nowhere else.

Yelp
We order half white meat chicken. They gave you hefty amount of food. Good. But felt like chicken lacks flavor. Will still come back try other items on menu. Their green sauce is supper spicy. Not water out like other places.
google avatar

Ying C.

Yelp
A Tyson's classic! The portions here are massive. The chicken could be juicier when compared to other charbroiled chicken I've tasted and the yuca fries are slightly tough and dry, but the plantains possess the perfect delicate sweetness, with a crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I prefer the yellow sauce over my chicken! If you're looking for a quick, delicious meal that caters to value, you will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Sage J.

Yelp
Always a good experience when you pull up to Super chicken. Good is always fresh from eye stance. Food is always hot
google avatar

Priscilla T.

Yelp
Excellent place to get Peruvian Chicken quick and cheap! The chicken was so moist and flavorful (dark meat). LOVED the mashed potatoes!! Yucca and plantains were also delicious, but the fried rice was a miss for me. It was too salty. Didn't balance well with the other items.
google avatar

Kiro S.

Yelp
One of the best Peruvian chicken in the area, always busy that keep the food fresh all time. Quick service and nice atmosphere
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Ol' faithful. I always come here when I'm back in town and it never fails to satisfy a pollo craving (why don't they have Peruvian chicken in the SF bay area??). Solid prices and moist chicken. Can't beat it.

Yelp
First time ordering dinner through Grub hub and didn't know if super chicken would get my order online and process it correctly. PERFECT! Everything was ready to get picked up (as ordered) chicken with chickpeas, mixed veggies and yucca . Yum. Wish they served a little extra spice... love the Peruvian spice and not greasy at all They also have a sticker on the bag to show it has not been opened after the meal has been packed. Great job super chicken
