Super Duper Burgers

Stopped in from out of town & impressed with the organic menu. Homemade pickles, fries, & truffle mushroom burger were delicious. Definitely a super duper place!

The burgers were good, not worth the price but good. My son loved their French fries. I had the garlic fries and they were good. Not over garlicky like some places do. The service was fast. The cost was the biggest problem, which I guess is going to be the reality at all fast food restaurants now. In addition, they have "eliminated" basic customer service like taking your order. There are 3 cash registers and only one has a staff person. They other 2 are self service. In addition, for a mini burger, garlic fries and there one size (which isn't large) soda which was 4.75. The whole order, mini burger, garlic fries and a soda was $25. And there's nothing unique or anything different (except the garlic fries) that you cant get anywhere.

I was in so much stomach pain. I had a menstrual cycle and I’m a man. I got poisoned by those acidic pickles. If you enjoy a thrill and a challenge, I dare you to eat those pickles. I’ve been eating super duper for more than 15 years and never tasted anything like those. My face cheek muscles did moves I never done before. You ever sprayed a roach with raid and watched it shake, cough and die. That was me. -10 stars for those rancid pickles. Burger still legit! Staff was cool but it’s kiosks that did my order and it wanted a robot tip. Why?!

Love Super Duper! Writing this in April 2025, have been going to the Veranda location since they opened. Before that, circa 2015 was going to one of the San Francisco stores. Food is consistently good, hot, served quickly. Staff are polite and aim to please. Added bonus - I’ve taken my dogs to the Veranda out on the patio. Recommend Super Duper to my burger-loving friends!

My friend told me about this place, but she lives in the Bay Area, and I live closer to Sacramento. I ended up in Concord and looked it up, and to my surprise, there was one right down the street from the hotel that I was staying at. I went through the drive-through, which was a pleasant surprise, and they were very patient as I decided what I wanted to order, considering it was my first time. The young man at the window was very polite and personable. I ordered the mini burger and added blue cheese, and I got the garlic fries and lemonade. I also ordered the 3 sauce sampler Everything was OK. I wasn't as ecstatic about it as I expected to be based on the way my friend described it. The lemonade was not sweet at all, and the color was darker than the norm, and I had to taste it to make sure I hadn't been given ice tea by mistake. The fries didn't seem made to order because they were not hot. I enjoyed them. I had added jalapeños to my burger, and boy, was that a nice kick. The burger was just ok. HOWEVER, I think I should not have gotten blue cheese because it took away from the taste of the beef. However, I love trying different places to eat and would consider giving them a second go. Don't get me wrong, the food is not horrible. It just wasn't what I expected. So give them a try! We all have different palates. The total cost for my order was about $21.00 and some change.

Super Duper in Concord. Really busy on the Sunday. Family oriented with seating outside. They sell beer and soft serve You form a line and order from a couple of menu screens, pay and take your pager, when food is ready the pager vibrates and you go get your food. They have a secret menu that you can order from if you want to be adventurous. The meat was smashed and cooked on the medium rare, be ready to get extra napkins as the burger are juicy.

This place is absolutely awful and I will never come back ever again. I went through the drive-through on Wednesday, December 3rd 7:30 ish and I ordered a burger and an ice cream cone and a bottle of water. The kid that served me the ice cream handed it to me, but it was super loose and melty! So soon as I took the ice cream cone it just flopped over to the right and went all over my car and all over my clothes. It made an absolute mess. I had to wave at him, honk my horn to get his attention to get some napkins to try to clean up my clothes and my car! I was so irritated that I asked to refund the cone and I left! At no point did he grab a manager or do anything so I parked my car because I was so upset and walked back into the store asked to speak to the manager. I told them that I wanted a full refund and I returned the burger and water! I explained that i have ice cream all over me and it’s all over the seat of my car and it’s down on the side in between the seat and center console so I’m gonna have to have it cleaned and he told me he was sorry he’s not the one that poured the ice cream! Really is that what you say to your customers! Offer a gift card or something. I just don’t understand why anyone in management can’t take care of a customer on something that was absolutely not my fault. The ice cream was way too runny to put in an ice cream cone. You guys need to get with the program and learn how to treat your customers!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Super Duper burgers! A much better quality burger joint in comparison to In-N-Out. Even the quinoa salad was delicious! Milkshakes and dipped cones come in different varieties and are made with ingredients from a local creamery. Front end staff could work on their customer service a bit more. Otherwise the establishment is clean and the food and atmosphere was good.

Such a pretty location, you walk up to the restaurant and it has a nice outdoor area filled with tables if it's a nice sunny day. Which it was for me when I visited. I think it's a shame they don't have a mobile app, but I was able to order from their website and pick up my order at the expected time I was going to be there as my lunch is only an hour. My main purpose for this visit was to grab that new Sherryeatsworld burger which had chilli crisps, fried onions and pickled cucumbers. A big deal too as I've never heard a food influencer get their own burger. It's also rare to see asian inspired ingredients in your everyday burger. With every bite you could taste all these flavors and I feel like the chili crisps really brought out a unique heat that wasn't too much. In addition to the burger I also got fries and I had no idea they were this crispy, honestly these might be my new favorite. However, if you take them to go and let them sit, they lose that magic taste real quick.

Your location ran out of truffle burger. The tip option shouldn't be there when your service doesn't have waiter/waitresses. The expression on the cashiers face when no tip was given was awkward. The burger did taste good and fries were good too. First time I had a super duper burger was in Berkeley and was awesome and seemed bigger in size. Do better with the portion and take off the tip option. The employees work duties are the same as McDonald's and Burger king.

I just noticed that I haven't written a review for Super Duper and we've been going here for years. Yesterday, we went to superduper and ordered the seasonal truffle burger with garlic fries. We usually order the veggie burgers and garlic fries because the garlic and cheese on top of the fries is just delicious and when you get the dip, it just changes the flavor profile of each of the fries. The truffle burger would have tasted better if it had more truffle flavor like they do at Shake Shack. Unfortunately, this burger was very oily and greasy because of the truffle oil that didn't have enough truffle flavor. And then the portobello mushrooms that were sliced on top. They could've been diced more or just left as an entire shell. I just know that I'm not ordering that again.

Just ordered via door dash and my sandwich was wrong. I ordered the chicken sandwich which comes with the best chipotle aioli which I asked for on the side so my sandwich wouldn't get soggy and of course I DID NOT GET MY Aïoli. So I'm had a dry chicken sandwich and because it was a sauce DoorDash will not replace it so I'd like the manager at super duper to replace it.

Always good, but never was a go to until the @Sherryeatworld burger. Bring it back!!! Shout out to all the nice people in the store!

My friends were telling me about this place so we went there for dinner one night. It's funny because I always parked near it but never went inside. What was "Super Duper" ? Well now I found out that it's an awesome place. Love the smashburger style and how everything is focused on cleaned eating. The buns were light and soft. Their ketchup and mustard tasted different, but in a food way. And I love how they make it OK for adults to order kid-sized milkshakes. I got the coffee milkshake and it was really good. It's a fairly simple menu, but I like that. It's not overwhelming and you can easily decide what you want to order. While waiting for our order, I munched on some pickles. I also liked how open everything was. The decor is very minimal which gives it a clean and modern look. I'll definitely start hitting this place up again.

I actually really love super duper! I have always had a great experience and the food is always fresh and amazing. The garlic fries are 10/10! They are always crispy and have lots of garlic and cheese. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are really good also. I love their in house pickles, they're amazing! Service is always good and quick and the place is always clean. It'll always be one of my go to spots for a quick and fresh burger.

Drive through is extremely slow. They can benefit from learning from In N Out and how they do things. The burgers here are greasy. I got the special bacon Gouda burger single patty and it was so greasy I could not eat it. The pickles here are bomb though make sure you ask for extra pickles to help cut through all the grease you about to eat.

Got two doubles and shared a garlic fry. Homemade pickles and a milkshake delicious!!!! Sorry the pic doesn't do it justice but we devoured them.

Good burgers done quick. Fries good too. Usually go to counter rather than drive through. One of my gotos when going Bay Area to sierras.

Got 3 burgers and 2 fries. It seemed awfully pricey. I went through the drive-thru and the guy working the window seemed helpful when I ordered. Okay, so I got a burger with cheddar cheese and an egg. Got my husband a burger with blue cheese, an egg and all the toppings. I ordered a smaller burger with cheddar, lettuce and tomato for our daughter. She and I were going somewhere together so I also asked for 2 regular sides of fries. My burger was super soft and juicy but I felt it really lacked flavor, even with the two items I got on it. The fries also seemed very tasteless to me and overly greasy/oily. My husband tried some of his burger without anything because he wanted to find out if it was the meat itself that was super salty to him. It was the burger and not the toppings. He didn't finish his fries so I feel like that also speaks volumes. Our daughter seemed to think the food was okay but didn't really end up eating much of it, either.

Visited this location after trying super duper in the emeryville location. This one is convenient because it has a drive through. However, it was not as good as the other location. The food was good, but lacking a bit of flavor. The homemade pickles need a little bit more tang for my taste. However, it is still a really great place to get a burger when you have that craving for a home grilled burger.

I do look a good burger on the go for lunch, but not just slapped together resting under a heat lamp... I do remember eating at Super Duper In Berkeley years ago, so was excited to check out this new one on this side of the tunnel. Place looked clean and tidy as being new, and there was ample parking on a weekday. Being alone I sat at a bar window seat. I ordered a mini burger since I asked and the Super Duper was larger and 2 burgers. This ended up being the perfect size for me. But the "free add ons" confused me on the sign a bit. I guess just me, but I thought I had to tell them "no onions". The kid was staring off into the window, put down I wanted onions. So while I was waiting for my burger I noticed on my receipt it said "onions" oops... Went up to say I didn't want them, the manager said this happens a lot and they were able to fix it before I got my burger. yay. I also ordered fries and ice tea. The burger is a standard but solid grilled burger that I really enjoyed and the fries were very good! I would eat here again if in the area, though I don't live over here so I don't think I'd drive out of my way to eat here. I'll just say it, I think it's much better than Shake Shake.

Burger was good, but not $25 good. Plus why am I tipping? I didn't even get my drink, went up to get my glass because I thought they were bringing me my $4 Arnold Palmer but I didn't have my receipt

I prefer my burgers medium well. My Super Duper tonight was rare. The burger was delicious, but given the recent changes in USDA meat inspections how will that affect your business?

This rating could have been spared if they had proper customer service and actually gave a refund like they said they would. I was in 2 weeks ago, ordered online and prepaid for my food. Upon driving away from the location the burger was almost raw inside which made my lunch inedible. I called multiple times and you reach an automated phone recording staying to email them, which I did I attached photo and receipt never received a response. I have them a second opportunity and went in the location to order again a few days later, ordered the same thing and told one of the take out attendants of my last experience and asked to speak with a manager. He was very rude and argumentative that all there burgers are cooked that way. I met with the manager gave him my name, date I was there and showed him the email. Said he'd look into it and issue a refund. Have not received anything it's now been 2 weeks! Their management skills are laughable at this point. Will only come back for their soft serve. Horrible customer service, I do not trust their meat quality now.

This was my first time here, and I'm glad I made it. The place was clean, spacious seating inside and outside. I walked right up and placed my order with a friendly cashier. I ordered a seasonal burger called the smoked gouda bacon burger. It was juicy and delicious. They also have delicious homemade pickles that added a delicious crunch. I will definitely return when I want a great burger.

We arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday and were able to order from the kiosk right away. I loved being able to look through all the options to customize my burger! I ordered the mini burger ($7) with cheddar cheese ($0.75). The food was ready in about 5 minutes. My main complaint was that it was super oily! I was also excited about the pickles by the condiments but they were so sour. Loved the ambiance (bright plus outdoor seating) and overall, decent food.

The service is great! The wait for your order is minimal. However my burger was extremely salty in some areas so I give the burger a 3. My husband said his burger was lacking flavor and gave it a score of 3.5. I ordered the mini burger with mushrooms, grilled onions and cheddar cheese. It was a good burger with the exception of the salt mishap. And my husband got the double patty burger with grilled onions, jalapeno and chedder on ciabatta. Next time I'll ask for no salt.

Was in the mood for a burger and Super Duper Burger was right by us. Ordered the mini burger & fries as did my son. The burgers "look" so small BUT we couldn't even finish them. The burgers are so flavorful and so darn good! The fries were good but that's all. Before leaving we grabbed a soft serve ice cream...OMG, honestly the best I've ever had. Definitely going back!

The food is delicious and quite greasy, but still satisfying. It's a nice family place to visit on the weekend. The fries are fantastic, and my husband really enjoys the pickles. I love the strawberry shake!

Burgers we're fairly good but the fries were just okay. Our order came up pretty fast. I didn't really love the pickles, they are a little too sweet for my taste. Overall I'd recommend it if you're in the area and in the mood for a pretty good burger.

Love the burgers! One of my favorite burgers in the east bay. I don't really like walking up to a kiosk to order stuff... feels impersonal at this point. But always get the burger, fries, the sauce, and extra pickles!!

Used to be 1 of my fav burger spots. Food is amazing (a lil greasy but not an issue). My issue lies in the bait & switch (I will detail only this on but it's probably the 3rd seperate issue I had in my last few visits). Trying to be responsible, I looked up prices to make sure I could afford my meal and everything at the store is more expensive than the website. I ask for the Mgr and she, Laura, spends time that I don't have with my phone, slid over to her side on the cashier's counter, trying to find a loophole or explanation why I need to pay the higher price. One explanation is, " We recently raised the prices so that's why it doesn't match". The next one is "you need to order on the site to get that price". I end the conversation and walk away thinking I will just move on. She follows me to my seat and gives me another explanation...this time she says, "I am on the wrong site". I point out that it begins https//superduper....then she says I hit menu instead of website (I guess on google?) Which I did not do nor did I use google (Lol). At this point I am fully irritated. There is no , "let's make it right" attitude. Instead, she's all about, "I wanna be right. I order, pay, wait, look at my receipt & they have charged me 30 cents for "employee benefits. I'm just wondering why they don't tell you beforehand? I went back and asked her for that refund and explained I wasn't advised in advance. She retorts quickly with "it's on the menu now" pointing at the seperate print that is not near the items I ordered & would never naturally be noticed. So what have I learned from Laura? The customers always wrong & any excuse not to be kind, or honor their LISTED PRICES will be made. Maybe she is having a not so great day or you know, it is difficult being in customer service. Humbly, let me just add that I came to this plaza to take my daughter to a hangout time with her friend for her friend's birthday. So I am stuck here for 2 hr waiting for my kid. I'm simply trying to eat a fairly inexpensive mini burger and a drink. I am not wealthy and I definitely have to be careful with my spending. Not everyone can afford your employee benefits. Not everyone can afford your price hikes especially when they commuted all the way here under the belief and guise that the prices were lower. Honor what you list on your website! Be kinder & more respectful (an apology for the incorrect information would be nice), take SOME responsibility instead of mastering your blameshift game. But I will say that I was starving in that mini burger and hazlenut shake were screaming! Thank you to the cooks and everyone who was on shift!

I like the idea of this restaurant because I can drive-through and it seems like the quality is good. I don't like the fact that you can't order a small, medium or large drink. Everything is one size. The service seems good, as it's kids who really seem to try their best, but the order was wrong, and therefore the charge was wrong. So if you go, make sure you check your receipt and your order before you leave the drive-thru window. My sister likes the place so that is why I go there but for myself I enjoy the food

Super Duper Burgers burgers are super duper delicious. They're not as cheap as In-N-Out, but I'd say these are a gourmet level up from that so the price is proportionately higher. If you're real burger-person, then you should get an egg on top. The fries just as delicious. They have a drive-thru if that's how you're feeling that day. SDBs is definitely a top burger chain and choice.

Fresh food, we were there 45 minutes before closing, so not crowded at all. The swirl cone was old fashioned goodness! They sell dipping aoili for the fries, they were all very good, can't say the price for those was descent (small amount) but I wanted to try it at least once. I will go back again

108 degrees, let's get some ice cream!!! We got 6 cones. Chocolate Swirl Vanilla $4 $6 cones. A bit expensive, but the flavors are good. Rich and creamy - comparable to ShAKE SHACK. A wait in Drive Thru, but cones given to us were firm, cold, even though it was HOT. Service good and friendly.

Everything. Every time we drive into Walnut Creek we stop at Super Duper before coming home. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and what is there to say about the burgers? Absolutely super! They also make the best burger salad, it's enough for a meal and a snack. A must do.

The only issue I've had is not being able to ask questions before ordering then they want you to use the screens to order. Went through the whole process, finally was able to ask a question about a discount only to find out the employees need to take an order to receive discounts. We haven't had any issues with the hamburgers or fries but sometimes they don't have pickles out. Not a fan of using the hard paper towels as napkins. The inside is kind of sterile. Would be nice to make the place more inviting. Even though I don't need it, I appreciate they have a changing table to change a baby with a soiled diaper.

Best fast food burger in my opinion definitely gonna be pricy but quality ingredients there soft serve is really good to and there chocolate she's are great there garlic fries taste amazing and don't sleep on there grilled chicken sandwich either so good it the chipotle alio delicious you can add a few things to the burger and the chicken sandwich to make them even better than they already are and everything is made fresh and they serve beer

Was hungry one morning and decided to check out the breakfast option (drive through order). I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. I had forgotten to ask for the bacon to be crispy but luckily it came crispy anyway and the egg has a runny yolk which was a pleasant surprise. There was a lot of the sauce so I might ask for light sauce next time but the sandwich was actually pretty good. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service in the drive through was good and timely I wouldn't mind coming back again for another breakfast sandwich! I'd recommend giving it a try!

Chicken and hamburgers are delicious But all hamburgers are made Medium So make sure to put in your order on How you want your . My chocolate shake had a bold chocolate flavor. So, I know request half chocolate half vanilla to make my chocolate shake. I enjoyed the ambience. They have 3 TV that shows sports in the inside and I see a lot of dogs in the patio. Nice way your burger.

It was my first time visiting this Super Duper Burgers location last month. I've been to the San Francisco location once before. This Concord store has a drive-thru which is really convenient. It's situated at the Veranda near Yard House. I got the Bacon Jam Burger which has Bacon jam, Cambozola blue cheese, grilled onions, baby arugula, Super sauce, and bacon. It was a pretty tasty burger that I would order again. Great fast food option!

Great location with great food! I personally love their fries with garlic cheese. I love their regular burgers as well. As a note, the cheese does cost extra if you'd like some cheese. Other than that, the only thing I would wish for Super Duper is to expand on is their Portobellos, much like Shake Shack's potentially but better. I'm excited to see what happens next with them as I frequent them often!

Sooooooooo good!!! Great stop for a burger & breakfast sandwich! Husband had an amazing burger and I had a breakfast sandwich w/ avocado, bacon, and fried egg! Everything was fresh, and perfect. Their fries were salty, crispy, and perfect.

We were regulars. Every weekend we would go for a breakfast, that was amazing. Unfortunately it has changed after COVID, but we still stayed loyal. Even after moving from the area we still make 2 hours trip just to get the burger, fries and salad when we can. They constantly (over 4 times now!) forget to put sauces and condiments. Salads don't have dressings, burgers have no spreads. Also the fried is always room temperature so the cheese never melts and just sits on top. Huge disappointment

After a weekend of backpacking a burger is usually the crowd favorite, so my hungry carnivore friends that are more familiar with this area picked this place to indulge when we got off the trail. As far as veggie burgers go, this one is just flat out disappointing. It falls into the vegetarian trap of having to be smothered in a dairy-based 'super sauce' to be edible, which doesn't fly for the fully plant-based customer. So removing the sauce and having to put it on their dry-as-cardboard ciabatta (since their usual bun is laced with animal product) only added insult to injury. Honestly, had I realized we were incredibly close to Next Level Burger I would have met up with my friends later and gone there instead! I probably choked down half of that dry veggie burger before giving up and making a meal out of their delicious fries, housemade pickles, and the cold Hefe they had on tap. Definitely won't be back.

MSG itches, anyone? We used to love coming here for organic shakes and the grassfed beef (now "vegetarian fed" or whatever that means... soy, corn, etc). Ate there tonight, spent $54 and our whole family is itching and tingling - the feeling you get after eating MSG (also hidden under other names like "yeast extract"). Never have felt this way from eating here. Something has changed. Classic greenwashing. If they are putting MSG in their food, what else are they adding? Used to feel good about feeding our children this, but seems to be no better than McDonalds at this point. Can't find the ingredient list anywhere, but needless to say, we're done eating here. Very disappointing.

I was excited to find out there was a Super Duper located here and eager to get a bite on the way home, so we stopped by to dine in. I was anticipating the same experience I'm used to having, but consistency was not on the menu that night. Simply put, this place can't compare to the Berkeley location and it shows. The staff were nice and friendly, but I didn't come for companionship. I came for da grub. (That's a joke mostly, I'm always looking for a new friend.) I ordered a veggie burger that came out super undercooked, which sucked because I was really looking forward to my tasty bambino. My boyfriend had a similar situation: his burger was practically mooing, as my papa would say. The only thing that saved us were the garlic fries, which actually were the most decent thing about the meal. I really wanted my boyfriend's milkshake to work out for him but I knew it was all to the bad. And of course it was. I'm gonna have to give up on this location and admit that it's just not super or duper enough to earn my love and devotion.

Best burger in Concord CA! Better taste and is juicy my parents love this chain they have outdoor dining to enjoy with family and fur baby !

Recently went for dinner and ordered 3 super burgers. 2 of them were way under-cooked. When my wife went to the counter to show the manager, he said they cook their meat "medium". These were clearly not medium. We did get replacements for them. Warning-please cut into your burger prior to eating.

Always a YES. Love their garlic fries and veggie burgers. Beef burgers also rock. Fried chicken sandwich is meh.

I've enjoyed other Super Duper's and finally decided to give this one a try. I kept debating whether to go inside or use the drive-through. Since I couldn't see parking on this early Sunday afternoon my decision was made and there wasn't a line of cars waiting. I decided to get a mini burger, which isn't so mini except for one burger patty, garlic fries and a vanilla milkshake. Next time I'll get the vanilla and chocolate swirl. It came to barely under $20. That's okay, since it's good quality. However if you eat out a lot, this place may be too expensive. Everyone I encountered was great. From the person who took my order to the person who took my payment and gave me the food. And it seemed they like working there too. Not sure if I'll go back anytime soon, but glad to know this place is here when needed.

Haven't had this in a quite a while, but the consistency is still there. Super Duper Burger is the perfect mantra while eating every bite of this tender and juicy burger. I ordered the Super Duper with cheese and grilled onions, ketchup and Mayo. Also had to get their garlic Parmesan fries to compliment the burger. This combination is a must. Then I asked the waitress to please include some of their house made pickles with my order, because they're so delicious. I'm hoping they expand to Southern California, it's definitely something special every time I'm in the Bay Area.
