Great local grocery store with fresh products. Good on prices. And they got some good dates.

My mom likes shopping here. Plenty of ethnic grocery to keep her happy. Prices are also inexpensive. Lots of fruit and vegetable options. The fish and meat counters are great

so i came to the store for some things that i needed and saw their weekly flier specials, pacifico for 19.99. 24 pk, so i get 2, it was a good deal, and when i paid for everything i noticed that they charge $32.99, i asked and they said it was wrong price but they will tell you only if you pay attention, they should honor the advertising price

It's a good local grocery store, has all the basics and some specialty items too. Prices a little higher than big chains but not bad for the convenience. I like that they carry fresh local produce. Sometimes shelves be empty later in the day tho. Staff is hit or miss, some are super helpful and some act like they don’t wanna be there.

Super King Market offers a great variety of groceries vegetables fruits at affordable prices. The produce section is well-stocked, and the meat counter has plenty of fresh options. It's a go-to spot for hard-to-find ethnic ingredients. The store can get crowded, especially on weekends. Overall, a solid place for diverse and budget-friendly shopping.

Overall disappointed. Huge store, great reviews and great prices. However… The chicken leg quarters we bought were rancid upon opening at home. They were in the chilled poultry section. Older lady running the candy section yelled at us rudely as we bagged up a few candies in a bag and put them into our cart. We didn’t realize we had to pay for them separately, but happily obliged. She didn’t have to yell at us like we were thieving children.

Do not buy fresh meat here, it is not fresh!!! I went for some ground turkey, and there was hardly anything on the shelf’s for the meat. When I asked the employee, where the ground turkey was, she pointed to the area that had two packages sitting there by themselves. The rest of the shelf was empty. I went over there and looked at the date, they were all expired. The freshness of the food is not the only problem with this store. This used to be a well managed store, I do not know what happened over the years. The prices skyrocketed for low quality, even the vegetables were high I would rather go to Trader Joe’s or Sprouts, and spend $.10 more for my vegetables and get freshness. It’s terrible to have some things that sit on the shelf for months before they sell it. Watch out for this store, purchasing anything here is a chance of getting sick or Salmonella poisoning.

I love this supermarket. It is really a place for everything I want and it's so organized, All I need to buy is in one store! Although it's a little bit away from my home, but it is becoming my grocery store! Angie

all meat I purchased tastes like breach. it was not like this before but in 2 years, I started tastes like breach. Price went up 1.5 times more too. They sell a cheese in the plastic case also tastes like breach sometimes and I saw a hair and red string was sticking on the cheese. getting not clean anything anymore.

I like what it used to be focused on where customer service was top notch. Now it is just another supermarket.

I come to the store anytime I'm in the area for my Mediterranean favorites. I usually get black and green olives. And lots of Fava beans to make foul. They have great prices depending on what time of day it can be very very crowded. This time I went in the evening and check out was so much easier but still a lot of people were there. It's a popular store!

Love super king... Very nice and clean store. Good meat selection, good marinated Mexican meats... good veggies, good alcohol, and best of all good prices

A good store if you want to find Russian goods such as baranki, gingerbread, stew, buckwheat, semolina, pickles, caviar, candy in bulk, cottage cheese, kefir, sausage, herring, dumplings, pancakes, dumplings, etc. There's also liver, hearts, lots of greens, cabbage, beets, fruits/vegetables at good prices. The staff is friendly, although they won't pack the food for you. Navigation in the store is strange, to find what you need you have to walk around the store several times. Clean Shop.

Super King should only sell Sushi that's made fresh daily for full price anything that's not fresh of that day should be at a discount I usually don't have a problem here and it's always fresh but for some reason today's Sushi was not and it had a used by date of 4/3/2024 meaning it was not made today and after I got it home the sushi rice was falling apart and the avocado was discolored super disappointed as this was $15.99 I like the other Sushi people they used to have before better product better price

This is a great neighborhood market with plenty of fresh and cheap produce. Their produce prices are less than half per pound what the grocery stores on my town charge. If you're cooking Asian or Hispanic dishes you can probably find what you need here. They are lacking in fresh herbs (no basil, rosemary, or oregano) and surprisingly their dried herb section is not good either. They had mostly the Mc Cormick variety of overpriced spices. The service can be slowwww so be patient. Expect huge lines during peak hours and a crowded parking lot.

Because my mom buys groceries for her Mexican dishes, she shops here for price and selection. When she shops here, she brags about how good the prices are so I finally came for a visit. While looking at the good looking produce and their low prices, I can see why she shops here. In addition to a good selection of fresh and dried chilies, there's a wide selection of produce even fresh chickpea/garbanzo beans still in their pods and beautiful looking castilla pumpkins. As for predominate brands, I saw Goya and Sadaf which are difficult for me to find in the SF Bay Area, but can be found at small middle eastern shops. For meat, there's a wide selection at the counter and some fish and poultry. In the bread section, there's lots of flat bread used by Afghans and Persians. When you're looking for specialty products ( like Aleppo Pepper), this is a great store to make a one stop shop.

They just opened their new location - a modern take on a grocery store concept while still maintaining a great selection for many item categories and best pricing within a 15 mile radius. I typically get alot of my fruit and veggies here. Chicken is extraordinarily cheap. This week drumsticks are $.79/lb. They have this Arabic bread that is so intoxicating with a chewy texture and addictive taste for only $.99 per package. Herbs are so much cheaper here than western grocery stores. Today I scored mint and cilantro at unbeatable prices. But the best buy from today's grocery haul was soft skinned avocadoes for $.79 each! Amazing! Although not a Middle Eastern market, because of it's proximity to Anaheim, you will see people from many Arabic countries. When I ask how to pick the best of something, and they are always so helpful and kind. This store is definitely a melting pot of cultures. Just check out their wide selection of different kinds of rice supporting various ethnic tastes. The lines may seem long, but they move quite fast, as all their cashiers are well trained, knowledgeable and efficient. The store is maintained so well, it's always so clean, well organized, etc. Parking is always tight, but you must persevere, it's so worth it!

Update: Last week they overcharged us on 1 item at the checkout. This week they overcharged us on 3 items at the checkout. The prices in the computer is not what the signs state... this seems to be a problem that is only getting worse.

Clean and organized , friendly service I always happy to come shop at super king but last time I need tahini sauce I need 4 but I got 2 only maybe next time I will get more.

This is my favorite market, we even share the same initials. They have greats deals all over the store, but I love getting my meat and produce here. Their selections are also fresh and presented nicely. I saw how nicely the seafood was organized and just has to take a photo and write this review.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now and this place always seems to have pretty decent deals when it comes to everything that I needed. The folks in the meat department are always nice and helpful when I come to grab the meat that I need. You can never go wrong at super king!

Great Market. I was looking for freshly ground Turkish coffee. They have variety.

Today I received 5 star service from Freddy. He was already dutifully doing his job when I asked him where the shopping baskets were, since I was gathering up more groceries than I expected. He said they only offer carts now. I thanked him. After returning to his work for a few moments, he offered to bring me a cart. Major customer service points here!!! Just wanted to publicly applaud this associate for making my shopping experience better. Thank you!

Every time I go the cashier over charge me I buy nectarines they charge for peaches which is more expensive than nectarines I buy pita bread 14 they charge me 16 I buy 3 parsley they charge for 5

So I rarely go to other groceries stores especially if they don't offer a large variety of organic foods but I was craving authentic Arabic food for dinner so I decided to go to this store for seasonings and pita bread etc... the store was clean huge and parking was easy! I would definitely recommend this spot if craving Arabic food and like authentic food like I do!

If your black and don't work here don't Go in to this store the workers will give you problems. I live 20 feet away and can never go here without getting messed with. Also it smell bad of old meats don't walk to the back.

Not good service...when customers order online paid money and deliver 2 hours. They charge money deliver...2 to 3 days they not deliver and I coming the store pick up...they give me a hard time don't give the liquor for me the one I order...said the credit card my husband name not matching with the address cancel... I try new order they said my credit card not go to... I used other credit card they cancel my order the...because in the shop they sales more expensive $100...they want me buy in the store pay more money..Defrauding customers ...better don't put on sale online......I don't think coming back this shop any more

I went in for my first time today. I'm a very friendly person and I like to say hi to people no one in the store wanted to help me when I finally found what I needed, I went to get in line and the lady behind me ran her card into me. I went to the checker I said hello she wouldn't even look at me and then I asked if I could get a bag and she didn't even say yes or no she just pointed to it and I said, thank you have a nice day and she didn't say a word, and the lady behind me gave me a dirty look not a very friendly place. I would never recommend anyone go there.

Super King Markets in Santa Ana is a hidden gem! Fantastic variety, fresh produce, and international flavors. A one-stop shop for diverse grocery needs.

Love this place. It's not fancy or anything. But the prices are great! Where else can you get white peaches for 99 cents a pound? I don't come here often because it's far but when I'm in the neighborhood, I always stop by. They are always busy so you know things are getting replenished and not just sitting there. Especially in the deli and butcher sections. They always have good deals in the deli section (less than half the price of Ralph's Or pavilions). I bought marinated carne asada and chicken last time I was there. The marinate was delicious. Soooo good!! They used to have an in-store bakery that would make fresh bolillo bread rolls but they took that away. Their baked goods section is lacking. But their liquor, bulk nuts, and produce makes up for it. You can find a lot of middle eastern products as well as Hispanic products. Definitely recommend!

I bought a watermelon today and look horrible inside. I never got such a bad soggy watermelon and it's tasteless. The whole thing went to trash.

5 stars for fresh produce that never gets wet (sprayed/mist with water like other grocery stores) so when I take vegetables home, they last much much longer in the fridge or on the counter! Prices on fruits & veggies: low and good quality Prices on seafood, poultry, & meats: lower than the average grocery store but also low on quality (I stopped buying it here) Deli: huge selection on the deli meats & cheeses! Great prices and die to high demand, they're always slicing the freshes cheese, cured meats, or deli meats. Line is long so don't forget to grab a number & wait for your turn. Bakery: always smells wonderful and variety is abundant.

Market always has good deals, including veggies, meat, seafood, etc. You can find those deals on news they drop at your mailbox. Market is clean, sections organize neatly and effectively. They also offer bakery section anything from pudding, pastries to birthday cake. Their ham and cheese section offer wide range of good selected brands too. This is my every week grocery shopping spot to hunt good deals and fresh food!

This market is awesome! But I don't live close by. So only come here once in a blue moon. Wish they open more locations!!! Their produce are mostly fresh and very cheap! I always buy alot from here!!! I am picky with my vegetables cuz I want to pick the most perfect and fresh produce. I am so surprised with their low price, the quality is super awesome!!! I will come by whenever I am in the area!!!! love it!!!

So they don't have food ready to go ( which is what I needed to take to a party ) For some reason the liquor has a guard in front & it's sketchy. Nice deli and meat section but not my cup of tea

Bait-and-switch at the deli section. I visited Super King in Santa Ana on Sep 5, 2021. After purchasing my favorite Old Forest Salami and Danish Feta, I decided to buy Swiss cheese that was on display. The fresh half of the wheel with lots of large holes (eyes) looked beautiful, fresh, and it was on sale. I asked for 1.5 pounds. The black-haired man at the deli section constantly told the older man what to do, supervising his every step and pointing at the right cheese to slice. I think he was a manager. When I came home, I discovered expired cheese with dry "crispy" edges and no holes. There is no similarities with the Swiss cheese that was on display. I've contacted the store. Thir Customer Service offered to come back to their store for a refund. The only way I will drive to Santa Ana from San Diego is if you promise to feed this expired cheese to one who sold it to me.

Love going to this market whenever I need to get some groceries. They carry a bunch of items from different parts of the world which makes it super convenient since I don't have to drive to multiple places. I usually get their fruits and they are sweet and fresh for the most part. I recommend getting the Asian pears and apples. Their prices are pretty competitive compared to other stores as well. Another highlight is that they sell sushi! They have specials where you can get 8 pieces of sushi (California, spicy tuna, etc.) for only $5. They will sometimes have free samples as well! They also sell mini baguette style bread which is pretty popular! One other thing I love buying here is their tea! I highly recommend trying the Earl gray tea from Ahmad tea. The tea flavor is strong, refreshing, and delicious! Check this place out if you haven't been to a Super King Market yet! You will get lost and overwhelmed with all their selections.

One of my favorite grocery stores! I drive 15 minutes out of the way just to shop here. I love their fresh fish, meat and cheese, their prices are unbelievable and the products great quality. Fruit and veggies are insanely cheap, several lbs for $1. Service is great, very helpful. It does get busy, best to avoid busy times such as weekends.

Parasitic worms in the beef. Do not eat any meat from this store. This seems to be dangerous parasite that feeds on muscle tissues of cows. If ingested by a person, it could implant and feed on muscle tissue including the heart. The size of this parasite lets me to believe that this cow was seriously infected with the parasite, but it was able to pass thru inspection and ship out for sales. I notified management as soon as I found out and contacted officials in regards to this matter. These are step that it would not normally take, but people's health are at risk, and I could only hope that super king has taken action in removing the beef from their shelves. Purchased: marinated carne asada 4lbs on 1/22/21 at 4 pm. Notified store manager at 6pm.

This use to be my go to market because the veggies & fruits lasted longer in my fridge. They do have a lot of different choices of fruits but lately I been getting some not so good fruits. Maybe it's the good & bad just like every market but I still shop here for my fruits & when dinner is either Chinese food or Mediterranean.

Market is huge!!! So many selections and price is really cheap! They have so many unique meat selection too! Like pork belly beef tongue etc

My new favorite!! Ultra clean and I particularly visits are for the deli cold cuts! Great flat bread to any Euro to international bread. Great produce prices! Go for the cheese sales! Front row parking!

Deceptive advertising practices that are boarderline dishonest. Each week they mail a "weekly ad" to me as do many other markets. I typically circle the items that I want to buy on the advertisements and go to the stores. Because I am retired and living on a limited income I seek out the best deals. Super King in Santa Ana has for the past 9 years put items in their ads that they don't have in the store. I believe they do this intentionally to lure customers to the store. It is dishonest and should be illegal. People that are giving 5 stars must work for this corporation.

I just want to point out what a good cashier Angie is. We visited today about 4:57pm. And she refused to let a lady who wasn't wearing a mask properly get close to another customer and refused to let her come close to the register. It really made us feel bad she was given a hard time but she did a great job! Definitely an employee who cares!!! She cares about the people shopping in Super King and I wanted to make sure she was given a big THANKS!!!

I have to drive 30 minutes to get here but it's totally worth it because your herbs are a dollar twenty five cheaper than any American grocery store. Thanks for keeping it real super king. On a side note, some fruit/veggies I buy from here tends to go bad pretty fast so I knocked down a star.

Huge ethnic grocery store with a large selection of produce at pretty good prices. They also have several imported items that reminded of my time when I lived in Europe. Plenty of parking in a private lot.

Love shopping here, it has great fruit and produce. Great prices for everything else a supermarket can offer.

This place is super amazing to me! Every time I go there I am intrigued by all the cool stuff I find. I try and allow myself time to look at all the different things and I usually end up trying one new thing each visit.

All the time I went to this place because I like especially for meats or shrimp because all the tiene looks fresh , except for this time that's why I'm giving just one star, in September 15th I bought 5 ponds of shrimp when I was washing them I smelled something different but I thought maybe it's ok just a little strong but ok , but it wasn't, when I cooked them and tasted it was horrible I had to throw them away. I will think twice before buy shrimp there again.

Super king selling EXPIRED groceries and dairy products - watch out and pay attention at the best before in the packaging!!! Purchased today some groceries in super king to find out that the desert cheese bars best before nov 2017, this is crazy, that's like 4 months ago!!! no wonder I have a stomach problems now. Lemons are basically trash too, the food in this store is very very bad quality and LOW grade and a lot of items are EXPIRED- buy at your own risk! So I hope store management will reach out to me cause selling expired product will cause them problems. The buckwheat I recently purchased smells funky as well but I removed the packaging, so upset about the whole experience. I am going to report this store! Cheese is placed outside without refrigeration ... They also started overcharging at the register when you pay - they punch another codes for higher value items and if you don't pay attention at your receipt and don't compare the receipt and what you bought than you are in trouble ... I recently got home to find out the product on my receipt that I didn't purchase, I had to call them and then go back to the store.. lots of issues along with the scams and expired groceries ....

I used to like this place. Their produce is fresh since there are so many customers, their meat and deli department are always busy and my daughter likes the man who hands out cheese and deli meat samples and calls him the Cheese Man. The reason for the one star is their staff at the registers. Not only do they not help bag groceries ever, they even start scanning the next customer's items so they can start getting mixed up with yours, but they also fight you if their signage is wrong. Their sale today said $1.99 on bags of Doritos. It didn't say that I needed to buy more than one or that it was limited to specific flavors but that's what the checker girl (Alina) argued. Then I told her I didn't want it and that she should have someone check the tags in that aisle because that could get confusing, she doesn't even look up at me and tells me to go tell the manager because it's not her department or problem. Wow. I don't go grocery shopping to get heated. I don't care about that dollar, but her poor attitude and lack of respect is what is making me mad. I think I'm just going to start going to Northgate again.

Great supermarket, fresh meat, veggies and other stuff. Prices are great and a lot of culture specific food like Armenian, Arabic, Indian, Russian, European, etc. Great selection of coffee, nuts, cheese, jams, juices, sauces, you name it!
