Fantastic atmosphere, great drink selection, and better service. Our server Sam was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. By far, the best service we have had in 3 days in Amsterdam (and that's not a knock on other places). Highly recommend.

My husband and I were recommended this place by other local bartenders and were told it’s the “bartender’s bar.” I originally had it on my list to check out due to its close proximity to our hotel and the good reviews. However, once we heard from a few local mixos this spot was amazing we decided to pop in. The staff is fun, energetic, genuine, and care about your experience for sure. The drinks are great but the vibes are greater. So much so we came back the next night. Everyone is amazing. but special shout out to Sam and Lorenzo- thanks for showing us a good time and blessing us with the light up cat and Dave’s hot chicken rubber chicken. IYKYK.

Such a cool bar and an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. As three young females visiting from overseas, that sense of ease and respect really meant a lot to us. We truly felt looked after and taken care of — even the small details, like the team coming over to refill our water without us asking, did not go unnoticed and were deeply appreciated. We accidentally stumbled upon the bar and originally planned to stay just for pre-dinner drinks before a reservation at a nearby restaurant, but it was so good that we decided to head to our reservation and come straight back afterwards. The drinks were outstanding, beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. We loved that the team took the time to answer our questions and share their recommendations; every single drink we tried was a hit. Everything was delectable. Special mention to our favourite of the night, the East 8 Straight Up, truly next level and delicious. What really sets this place apart is the care and attention given not just to us, but to everyone at the bar. You can tell the staff genuinely value their patrons and love what they do, which made the entire experience feel special and personal. A huge thank you to Angelos, Andy, Geri, and Pierre for such exceptional service, you truly made our night. Thank you for turning this into the highlight of our short stay in Amsterdam. We hope you get the recognition you deserve. We’re already excited to plan another trip just to come back here! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Super Lyan is hands down one of the best cocktail bars in Amsterdam! The first thing that grabs you? The neon-purple glow wrapping around the cocktail station, like a little island where all the magic happens. You can sip at the bar or sink into the couches while nibbling on small bites. The cocktail list is anything but ordinary. Every drink is carefully crafted, with a story to tell, flip through the menu or ask the incredibly skilled bartenders for the backstory. A great way to start? The Daiquiri with William George rum, a fragrant Amsterdam-born spirit that’s crisp and refreshing. Want to go bolder? Try the North Sea Boulevardier, made with Toki whisky, invasive plants, and cordyceps, served with an oyster-extract pearl that bursts in your mouth before the cocktail smooths it all out. Prices lean toward the higher side, but totally fair for the level of craftsmanship. The bartenders are not only masters of their art but also super friendly and happy to guide you. Absolutely perfect bar. The service was amazing, Sam and Angelos were so friendly and helpful! The cocktails were super super tasty and there's a real attention to detail. Will definitely be coming back before we leave Amsterdam!

The bartenders here really know how to make a cocktail. The ambiance is really nice as well. The bathroom is an adventure to get to-I think 3 restaurants share the same restrooms. But this place, they make very good cocktails. The horseshoe bar makes it an interesting place to meet people. I would definitely come back.

Amazing cocktail lounge connected to the Kimpton. Great menu, creative cocktails, and the best service I've had my entire time in Amsterdam. They had 90s/early 2000s American jams playing and I loved the ambiance. The only downside is they are open Thursday-Sunday.

The retro soda shop vibe, complete with bar stools and neon lights, creates an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and modern, making it the perfect spot for a night out. Their drinks bold and complex, yet perfectly balanced. This place should not be missed!

sooooo silly & fun. giving 2016 club vibes but a small bar w/ yummy snacks. drinks were incredible! staff was very attentive with water and recommendations. food was good too, very tasty vegetarian bitterballen.

A great newish-bar from the folks that operated the former #1 in the world, Dandelyan, Super Lyan is their venture in Amsterdam. Housed in a 17th century building, the interior is mod and trendy, and the music is blaring loud. This is probably not a great place for a quiet drink, but definitely has a great party or pre-funk vibe. The Frose Margarita is a crowd pleaser - Patron Blanco, Belsazar rosé vermouth, Waldorf cordial, peychaud - very refreshing icy treat. The Panacea was also very good - Johnnie Walker Black, lavender and honey shrub, lemon, candied fried sage. The last ingredient was the X factor and loved the sweet and savory herb with each sip. The Old Fashioned was super smooth with the inclusion of beeswax. Service is friendly and the place is lot of fun. Definitely a great addition to the Amsterdam cocktail scene!

My first time at Super Lyan was a delicious success. Came here with my partner and my best friend. LGBTQ friendly, staff was very polite and attentive, cocktails are beautiful. A bit of a stiff arrangement of furniture, and the seating feels a bit confused. A lot of open space where it could feel more cozy. But that's being nit picky! The vibe is classy, but fun. Good for dates, celebrations, catch ups or casual work meet ups. You could come and be a moody writer in the corner and drink sexy martinis also if you want! The vibe is versatile. The service impeccable.

Slick. Sultry ambience. Smooth lounge house music. The whole vibe is just really cool. Efficient service every time. Shots aren't badly priced and the cocktails are brilliant. Do yourself a favour.
