Super Rad Takes Me Back to Queens! This place is a total hidden gem! As a Queens native, I'm super picky about my subs, and Super Rad delivers the real deal. First off, the bodega egg and cheese - a total classic done right. They use fresh, perfectly fried eggs and that gooey American cheese you just can't beat. It's the kind of sandwich that takes you right back to your corner bodega. Then there's the Mini Mart Special - a delicious throwback loaded with all the good stuff: ham, salami, capicola, and provolone. It's like a party in your mouth! They ain't skimping on the meats here, either. Now, for the chopped cheese: this is where it gets real. They get the chop just right on the steak, and the cheese is melted to perfection, holding everything together. It's messy, it's glorious, it's exactly how a chopped cheese should be. And let's be honest, nobody likes turkey rolls is the real deal people! Super Rad is the real deal. They're bringing that Queens authenticity all the way to Southern California, and I'm so grateful for it. If you're looking for a taste of home or just a damn good sub, this is your spot!

Being from the east coast and eating over dozens of subs and sandwiches, this is honestly the best sub I have had on the west coast and actually even the east coast. From the bread to the meats and veggies everything is so fresh. I am someone who never writes reviews on places and I could not help but comment on how delicious this sub is! I will be back many times! Any flavors and taste you would ever need in a sandwich is right here at this place!

This place is 🔥🔥🔥!! Best sandwiches in WeHo! Every sandwich I have had here has been top quality. I’ve had the chicken parm, bodega and the Greco, they have all been outstanding. The highest quality ingredients and they don’t skimp on the fillings. The owner is so nice too.

Truly the greatest sandwiches you’ll find in LA. The chopped cheese is outstanding, beef and cheddar is ridiculous, and the chicken parm is out of this world. Please do yourself a favor and eat here for lunch as often as you can!

Most of my recent reviews have been for terrible healthcare providers because it is one of the few ways to have a voice in a system that abides by power-dynamics being frequently out of one's favor! It sucks! I'm sorry for being less fun than I want to be, so let's talk about one of my favorite things: What Chris & Shanna literally bring to the table via their family and lived influences and experiences beyond items naming loved ones, Seinfeld jokes, inside jokes, too, I'm sure - I love that they seem to be having so much fun doing sandwiches and deli sides (THE POTATO SALAD!!) their way. Even when I'm not hungry, I appreciate going up to Super Rad, grabbing a few things, munching on them, and being thankful I did. I am so grateful that (at this time) they've expanded their hours, and there's always some new special or trial spin on a favorite to try! It reminds me so much of my own childhood, with a large quotient of Bronx-Brooklyn adjacent/born family, so not only do I get nutrition physically, but spiritually. I love how willing they are to adapt vegetarian/vegan options, the mushroom rendition of the Chopped Cheese scratches all of my itches. It is literally the photo I show my cardiologist when I say, "this is my cheat meal, I'm grateful they aren't open every single day, all day", and he doesn't blame me - if he comes by, he's going to say "Lauren made me", and he'll be back. Quality's always consistent, the cheesecake is my rightful master/mistress, I wish them the absolute best - have you seen that grilled cheese? Have you ordered it? Ohhhhhhhh. You're going to love when you do!!

Had a bad experience for lunch here. The lady at the counter had terrible customer service and was super snarky and rude to me and I got the sense that it was for racist reasons which is the first I've encountered in LA. In addition, there was no one in line and my order took 30 minutes total from the time I ordered to the time I got my sandwich. She had some mobile orders, but I can't understand why any sandwich would take this long. If I was her I would do a good job communicating the wait time to customers for a sub and prioritize in person orders. The sandwich itself was quite mid, but I won't be returning and supporting this business anyways unfortunately.

I absolutely love their chopped cheese and fried chicken Parm sandwich! Service was wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. They have plenty of outside seating and the food is packaged well to go. Price is in portions are fair, everything was made to order fresh. Excellent hearty lunch option, I appreciate that they are open early if you are looking to start your day off right.

Super Rad Sub Shop has an excellent selection of subs, I've never been disappointed, everything has been beyond tasty each time I've visited. Good stuff, I would absolutely recommend.

Amazing sandwiches, excellent customer service, and easy parking. This place is gold in my book! "Nobody Likes Turkey Roll" - 5+ Stars. The bread was flaky, crisp, and delicious. The turkey is brined for a few days leaving it moist and rich with flavor, some of the best turkey I've had. All the veggies were fresh and tasty, and the jalapeno mayo adds a slight kick without overpowering the other flavors. I swapped the cheddar for provolone, and canceled the onions (thank you for allowing modifications, a few of the new bougie sandwich shops won't allow it) The owner, Shanna, was so warm and friendly and extremely passionate about her food. She explained the turkey is brined for two days which is evident in the flavor. I could have stayed and talked to her for hours, she was just lovely. The spot itself is super casual with a walk-up ordering window and colorful picnic benches, and there were numerous metered spots for parking right in front which is unheard of on Sunset Blvd. If you love amazing sandwiches definitely do yourself a favor and check this spot out!

Cute outdoor seating got the roast beef cheddar and it did not disappoint !! Bread is perfect. One bite and get an amalgamation of all the flavors in the sandwhich, the cheese, the cooked onions, and of course the roast beef ! Great service you order and get a buzzer. Perfect Los Angeles weather gotta go go go!

AN ABSOLUTELY MUST DO! 4 & 1/2 STARS! If you are a Native New Yorker or an Angeleno who's craving some authentic New York Food, then you have to head on over to Super Rad Sub Shop. Yup, you no longer have to jump on a plane & travel 3,000 miles away to get some authentic Queens Cooking. Shana & Chris are the owners of the shop. Shana grew up in Queens New York. You may remember them from LA's Smogasboard - that has a multitude of outdoor eateries & vendors in Downtown LA. They had a booth there & were under the name Picnic. Now they have opened up this tiny shop that's a Sandwich Window on Sunset Blvd. It's Take Out or eat outside on their bright multi colored old fashioned picnic tables. There is metered parking up & down the street. They are right next to The Naughty Pig - a Sports Bar. Super Rad is open Wednesday-Sunday 11 AM - 4 PM. They have Breakfast sandwiches, Italian Subs & regular sandwiches too. I had to try the Chicken Parmigiana. It's a Breaded Cutlet with Shana's Grandma's Red Sunday Sauce with Mozzarella, Ricotta, Fresh Basil & Shredded Parmigiana Cheese on a Sub Roll. It's Very Very Good. But the Bodega Egg & Cheese hit the Home Run here. It's Scrambled Eggs with American Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon & Ketchup on a Sesame Brioche Bun. DELICIOUS! That's a Winner! It's Served All Day Long! Some other popular items are The Grecco which is a classic Italian Sub, The Chopped Cheese & The Beef & Cheddar. I didn't try them, so I'll have to save them for next time. They also serve Beverages & Deli Sides. They have a Menu on the wall & a Water Station too. I was talking to Shana & looking at the menu & said you're definitely missing something here. You've got to add The JLO If You Know You Know Bronx Special. You'll get a million people who'll want to try it. She started laughing & said I'm going to research that. So don't be surprised if it appears on the menu soon. It was all my idea. LOL! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can  Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Adding review back because it got deleted for "not representing my firsthand experience" ...removing a star bc I find that suspect I shared takeout with my boyfriend from here on June 2, who suffered from food poisoning hours later. We had the chopped cheese and BEC. I could only stomach a few bites and still didn't feel well after. See the photo I took of grey bacon...raw or fat? The chopped cheese was also inexplicably soaking wet even when fresh. This was inedible. Any NYC bodega does better for under $5 so unsure why this has 5 stars...

I'm not from NYC so can't speak to that detail. But omg the chopped cheese was bomb. The flavor profile was outstanding. The meat tasted fresh and the combination of that white sauce with cheese and veggies was delightful. I'm definitely coming back. I wish them tons of success. LA already has some great sandwiches, but I think I just added another to my list.

Super Rad Sub Shop is legit! Every bite of the sandwiches we ordered (The Chopped Cheese and The Chopped Mushroom) were filled with incredible ooey and gooey cheesy deliciousness! I went home and couldn't stop talking about these sandwiches lol. Needless to say I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu. Must try! Thank me later.

Walking the dog and found this adorable little sandwich shop on Sunset! How have I missed this!? The owner (I think?!) at the window sold me on the turkey sandwich and it did not disappoint. Warm toasty bread and all the essentials. Added roasted red peppers because what's a sandwich without those?! I take my sandwiches very seriously and this has made it into my top 3 in LA!

Ordered a chopped cheese 10/10. I've traveled all over the world, all over the east coast and if you're looking for authentic cheese east coast hoagie this is your spot. So good.

Incredible NYC bacon egg and cheese made the right way, it's been so hard to find in LA, but finally this is the spot! Fresh, gooey, quality ingredients, overflowing but not at all sloppy, simple, and just great all around. SPK game spot on. Everything else looks amazing, can't wait to try. Owners couldn't be nicer as well, great vibes all around.

Came here the other day and split the chopped cheese and beef and cheddar. Both were delicious and full of flavor! Super friendly owner. Good vibes! Will definitely be coming back to try more!
