Most of my recent reviews have been for terrible healthcare providers because it is one of the few ways to have a voice in a system that abides by power-dynamics being frequently out of one's favor! It sucks! I'm sorry for being less fun than I want to be, so let's talk about one of my favorite things:
What Chris & Shanna literally bring to the table via their family and lived influences and experiences beyond items naming loved ones, Seinfeld jokes, inside jokes, too, I'm sure - I love that they seem to be having so much fun doing sandwiches and deli sides (THE POTATO SALAD!!) their way. Even when I'm not hungry, I appreciate going up to Super Rad, grabbing a few things, munching on them, and being thankful I did.
I am so grateful that (at this time) they've expanded their hours, and there's always some new special or trial spin on a favorite to try! It reminds me so much of my own childhood, with a large quotient of Bronx-Brooklyn adjacent/born family, so not only do I get nutrition physically, but spiritually.
I love how willing they are to adapt vegetarian/vegan options, the mushroom rendition of the Chopped Cheese scratches all of my itches. It is literally the photo I show my cardiologist when I say, "this is my cheat meal, I'm grateful they aren't open every single day, all day", and he doesn't blame me - if he comes by, he's going to say "Lauren made me", and he'll be back.
Quality's always consistent, the cheesecake is my rightful master/mistress, I wish them the absolute best - have you seen that grilled cheese? Have you ordered it?
Ohhhhhhhh. You're going to love when you do!!
